The identification of the circumstances of the population distribution and its geographical dispersion, in particular between city and village, as well as factors influencing this distribution is necessary for the judicial planning in the country. The economic activities which are divided into three main groups (agriculture, industry and services) are among the numerous factors overshadowing the population distribution. The results of this research show that the activities in the sphere of industry and services have contributed to the concentration of population in the urban areas by creation of job opportunities. The agricultural activities have contributed to the stabilization of the population in the rural areas and the differences of the provinces from the viewpoints of city-dwelling and village-dwelling is somehow due to their difference from the viewpoint of employment proportion in each of the economic activities. Also the change in the proportion of the city-dwelling during 1956 to 2006 results from the changes in the range of employment in the industry and services sectors and changes in the degrees of village-dwelling  has correlation with changes in the proportions of employment in the agricultural activities. In order to understand the mechanism governing the solar activities and it’s relation tothe Earth’s climate, physical characteristics of the Sun and it’s activities, characteristicsand structure of sunspots and the relation between solar variability- specially sunspotscycle- and the Earth’s climate were investigated. In this case, Iran-Middle East,Northern Africa and Mediterranean regions selected as a sample of subtropical region. Itwas done in two stages. First, some of the synoptic stations of Iran and adjacentsubtropical regions were investigated and rainfall and temperature data of 16 stationswith 61 years (1930-1990) and 50 years (1951-2000) were chosen respectively.Summertime average temperature (July, August and September) and wintertime averagetemperature (January, February and March) were used. In the second stage, the Iran-Middle East, northern Africa and Mediterranean region were divided into four sectorsand average geopotential height of 500hpa and 50hpa levels for a 53 years period (1948-2000) were calculated for the winter and summer. Also, the average position and speedof subtropical jet stream in 200hpa level were derived for the above regions, periods andseasons and then their relation with the solar activity were investigated. For determiningthe relation between solar variability and climatic variables and regional atmosphericcirculation components, sunspot numbers, solar radio flux and a solar geomagneticactivity index (AA) were used. The results did not show a considerable significant correlation between sunspotnumbers and solar radio flux with winter rainfall and extreme seasons averagetemperature of those selected stations. However, the low correlation indicates that in theyears with maximum solar activity, the average winter temperature in the Middle Eastand Iran relatively decreases. The result of investigating the relation between 500hpaand 50hpa average geopotential height with solar activity indices for the extremeseasons have had positive correlation. The maximum correlation was seen in 50hpalevel (lower stratosphere) as there was a significant positive correlation between thislevel and solar activity indices. Also, there has been a low negative correlation betweenthe position and speed of subtropical jet stream and sunspot numbers and the other solaractivity indices. Manuscript profile

Background and Objective: Nowadays, pollution of groundwater by heavy metals is encreasing. Heavy metals are one of the most widespread cause of pollution in water and the presence of increasing levels of these metals in the environment is causing serious concern in public opinion owing to their toxicity. This study aims to assess the concentration and distribution pattern of heavy metals (Cadmium, Chrome, Nickel, Lead and Zink) in groundwater of an industrialized region in Eslamshahr which located in the southeastern of Tehran   Method: Presently, groundwater is the predominant source of drinking water in this town. For this purpose, 92 samples were taken from 23 wells in 4 seasons. The concentration of heavy metals in the samples was measured by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. ARC GIS software was applied for preparing the distribution patterns. Results: The results showed that chrome and zinc concentrations were lower than the permissible level in the drinking water. However, the concentration of cadmium in 8.7% of samples taken in winter were higher than the permissible level determined in drinking water standard of Iran. Nickel concentration in winter was 8.7% higher than the permissible level. Lead concentration of samples in 47.8% and 4.35% of samples taken in summer and winter were higher than the permissible level, respectively. The high level of water pollution in southern part of Eslamshahr is attributed to the large number of industries, big farm lands, application of chemical fertilizers and the pesticides containing heavy metals, busy main and  secondary roads , and most importantly, the hydraulic slope from northwest to southeast of this region.  Manuscript profile

The solid waste materials produced during mining activities can be divided into two categoriesof waste rock and tailing. The waste rock must be removed and placed in a dump to mine the ore. The waste rock dump is heterogeneous in terms of structure and grain size. The waste rock may range in size from less than 0.1 mm to greater than 1 m in diameter. Tailing is said to the material which is discarded after ore processing. The tailing has usually a small particle size distribution and high water content which results in a poor mechanical stability. It may also contains heavy metals and different process reagents which probably toxic to biota in an ecosystem. Hence, they must be disposed of in certain locations with implementing safety issues. In this article, the conventional and novel disposal methods including tailing dam disposal, backfilling, in-pit disposal and submarine disposal have been introduced. Furthermore, the novel codisposal method which uses the open void space in waste rock for disposal of the tailing has been introduced and its advantages have been listed. Then, the relevant parameters for the evaluation of the applicability of this method have been introduced and different techniques for mixing of two solid wastes in this method have been mentioned and a case study has been reported. Considering to the high benefits, codisposal method can be applied in different mine sites in our country. Manuscript profile

The present research was an attempt to investigate the role of socio-economic status of family, reading activities at home and student related variables (self-concept and students’ attitudes toward reading) in reading literacy performance based on PIRLS studies (2006). PIRLS has been applied a three-stage stratified cluster design sampling method. After filtering the data, the research samples included 5411 students studying at the fourth grade of elementary school have participated in PIRS test. The used tools in PIRLS 2006 were reading literacy questions and a questionnaire. The used scales in this study were taken from reading background questionnaire for socio-economic status and reading activities at home, students’ questionnaire for self-concept, students’ attitudes toward reading and reading literacy. Total scores were based on Rasch model which was used structural equation modeling aimed to study direct effects, indirect effects and total effects of socio-economic status variable (exogenous variable) on reading activities at home, self-concept and students’ attitudes towards reading (endogenous variable). After confirming the latent variables, measurement models and fitting the structural complex model, the results showed that the surveyed model has got the required goodness of fit with the data. All effects of socio-economic status on the other endogenous variables were statistically significant. In conclusion, the results suggested that socio-economic status has a significant role in determining and predicting reading progress. Besides, due to the remarkable amount of the obtained variance from endogenous variables, the finding of this study can be applied to educational programs by researchers and all those involved in education. Vine cicada, Psalmocharias alhageos (Hem., Cicadidae), is one of the period important pests of vine trees in Iran. Main damage of P. alhageos is caused by long feeding period of nymphs on the vine roots and laying eggs of females under the bark of the shoots. The adults appear from mid May in Qom region. Three insecticides: Diazinon (10% granule), Carbaryl (Sevin® 85%) and Imidacloprid (Confidor® SC350) by soil application and gardening activities (pruning of top branches and shoveling of soil under vines) were compared. In this study The treatments were compared with the number of nymphal exuviae under vines and grape vine yield. The results showed that the maximum number of nymphal exuviae was recorded on the control treatment (14.2) and the minimum was on trees using the treatment of Imidacloprid (4.9). The highest and lowest of grape yield were recorded in Imidacloprid (54.1 kg) and control (15.7 kg) treatments, respectively. Based on treatments ranking, application of Imidacloprid (20 ml at each vine tree) at nymphs emergence time from soil was effective in decreasing of vine cicada damage and increasing of the grape vine yield. Gold was obtained through washing or panning of the river sands during initial periods of civilisation. With the advent of knowledge of metallurgical processing of ores it was recovered through mining of in-situ quartz reefs, and then from auriferous sulphide ores. The metal mining activities are evidenced in the form of large number of ‘ancient metal mines’ or ‘old workings’ and ‘placer mining sites’ almost in all the States of India. Gold artefacts have been found in Early Harappan sites. Some of the ancient gold mines are found to be more than 200 metres deep, probably the deepest of that period in the world. Geological surveys, investigations and explorations initiated during nineteenth century, are being continued mainly by the field officers of Geological Survey of India in different parts of the country to locate the gold prospects i.e. past and the future. Ground geological and archaeological findings related to gold have been brought out by several workers. The voluminous data existing on the ancient gold mining activities has been synthesized here for an overview. Manuscript profile

The special importance of the Karaj River and Dam in the establishment of sustainable security of water supply in Tehran and maintaining the ecological stability of the aquatic environment and human activities related to water play a prominent and vital role. The aim of this study was to identify sources of pollutants. Quality of surface water resources for 8 water quality parameters (sulfate, chlorine, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, total solute, electrical conductivity and sodium uptake ratio) in 10 Karaj-Amir dam dams It was great. In this study, the effect of changes in hydrological parameters on pollutant sources as well as the spatial origin of these pollutants and the appropriateness of watershed management measures during the 40-year period from 1347 to 1398 were investigated using Convik correlation analysis and principal component analysis. The results showed that the application of factor analysis in evaluating surface water quality parameters is one of the important cases for source and elimination of information noise. Focal variables 1 and 2 with correlation coefficients of 0.98 and 0.81 have potential ability especially for changes in environmental variables such as rainfall (H) and The volume of annual sediments (W) has a direct effect on the three elements of water quality, namely calcium, total salts and total hydrogen ratio, respectively, and they establish a direct relationship. The results showed that the share of incoming pollution load from the tributaries of the Karaj River due to the uses located in them in the pollution of the dam reservoir is more than the main tributary of the river and its uses. In particular, the sub-basins of Velayatrud, Shahrestanak and Sira have a total of more than one third of the share of pollution entering the reservoir. Manuscript profile

Hashtrood region is located in the southwest of East Azerbaijan province. The main source of drinking water through underground water supply residents there. In order to evaluate groundwater quality, water resources, including 9 throat of deep wells to a depth of 70 to 90 meters in two periods (wet and dry) in compliance with the required standards were sampled for chemical analysis were transferred to specialized laboratories. Data obtained from this evaluation for the purpose of processing and interpretation of the sign were to Rock Works and Geochemistry software’s. In this research, piper diagrams have been used to determine the type and geochemical facies of groundwater. To study and evaluate water for industrial use, the Langelier index has been used in which the criterion of water scaled and corrosive is considered. According to Schuler diagram, the water samples of this area are in the acceptable water range, which indicates that the water quality of the area is desirable for drinking purposes. The water quality of the area for industrial use is in the corrosive category in most samples .Samples of groundwater from Hashtrood city has high hardness ,which is usually influenced by the deceleration of Ca and Mg that there is often bicarbonate ion and chloride sulfate in the water. The corrosive nature of the water in the area leads to the pert of water in the urban supply system, which will cause health problems and material damage Manuscript profile

This study attempted to explore to what extent each of the three techniques of culture narratives, culture capsules and culture training activities significantly affect the critical cultural awareness of Iranian EFL learners by comparing their means from pretest to post-test questionnaire after ten-session treatment. Furthermore, it investigated whether there are any differences in the effectiveness of these techniques. Regarding the participants, the testing group was 154 undergraduate English language translation students, including both male and female students, forming three experimental groups. This investigation used the quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. The sampling method was convenience sampling. The homogeneity test and a pre-post critical cultural awareness questionnaire were used to collect data. The collected data were analyzed through Repeated Measures ANOVA and Simple Effect Analysis. Based on the obtained results, there were significant differences between the pretest and the post-test, which means that by applying the techniques mentioned above, the critical cultural awareness of learners increased. Also, there were significant differences between the three groups’ overall means on pre-post critical cultural awareness questionnaires. Considering the three groups, culture narratives, culture capsule and culture training activities, the former outperforms the others. Furthermore, between culture training activities and culture capsule groups, the culture training activities group performed better than the culture capsule group. Manuscript profile

Mining activities lead to the production of large amounts of heavy metals such as lead (Pb), zinc (Zn), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd) and nickel (Ni). Concentrations higher than the standard values will have harmful effects on the environment and the normal functioning of systems and organisms where these elements accumulate. One of the major destructive results of these activities is the contamination of underground water due to the accumulation of mine tailings. If the tailings are not properly controlled and managed, their harmful substances enter the surface and underground waters and pollute the area. In last years, the use of biotechnology achievements and especially microorganisms in order to remove heavy metals and their compounds has been very effective. Depending on the intensity of pollution, the cell structure of these microorganisms may be changed to the extent that they can tolerate higher concentrations of heavy metals. In other words, they can adapt to higher concentrations. Manuscript profile

The present article primarily provides an effective model for optimum performance of the Islamic councils of cities according to fuzzy theory. In this dissertation, the Islamic councils of cities have been supposed as an open organizational system which has four main activities as follows: intra-organizational, inter-organizational, extra-organizational and individual activities. In fact, the proposed model is an optimized  proportion of these  activities which maximizes the satisfaction of council beneficiaries (clients as direct  recipients of services and society as indirect receiver of services).(Of course the 4th activity has been assumed as the research limitation, so it has not been studied). In the proposed Model, at first a fuzzy system has been offered  for acquiring the favorable satisfaction  of council beneficiaries (outputs) on the basis of the types of activities and  their combination (inputs); then different  types of city Islamic councils' functions have been considered using different tools for gathering the information of Tabriz Islamic Council according to the available theoretical framework  and conforming to diverse activities mentioned before have been estimated in the form of the rate of concentration upon activities and satisfaction of clients of the councils. At the end of the present dissertation, on the basis of the optimized model and the real function of the council, the gap between available and ideal situation has been figured out, and finally, suitable suggestions have been offered for the improvement of the existing conditions. Weather is considered as one of the most important factors shaping tourism, and tourism centers owe their existence and values to many factors, especially suitable weather conditions. In this research, in order to evaluate and zoning the ecotourism calendar in Kurdistan, Kermanshah and Hamadan provinces, Riemann model and Physiological Equivalent Temperature Index (PET) have been used. The comfort conditions of the tourism climate and heat and cold stresses in different days and months of the year were evaluated using the PET index and then zoned in the GIS environment by considering the altitude. The results of the research showed that in most parts of the western region of the country, such as the cities of Sanandaj, Hamedan and Kermanshah, the time of climatic comfort for tourism activities occurs in two separate periods. From the end of May to the middle of October, heat stress is observed and from the beginning of December to the end of March, cold stress is observed in the border areas of Kermanshah. Finally, tourism climate maps of the western region of the country were prepared based on altitude changes and taking into account the relationship between the physiological temperature index and altitude, and by analyzing these maps, suitable times for activities such as mountain climbing in the important heights of the region such as Alvand, Chihel Cheshme, Peru and Shahu were identified. Biochar has recently attracted lots of attention as a viable strategy for increasing crop productivity. Water shortage limits the productivity of agriculture, and one possible solution to this problem is the application of biochar. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of biochar on physiology and yield of pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo L.) under different irrigation regimes. For this purpose, a factorial experiment in randomized complete block design with four replicates was conducted in Gorgan, in two successive years (2014-2015) and consisting of a factorial combination of four irrigation regimes including 45%, 60%, 75%, and 90% (I1-I4) of maximum allowable depletion (MAD) of available soil water (ASW) and biochar was applied at rates 0, 5, 10, and 20 tons per ha(B0–B20). Drought increased the activity of antioxidant enzymes, and the content of reactive oxygen species in leaf compared to control. In contrast, all of the antioxidant activities, reactive oxygen species and proline contents of leaves in soil treated with biochar, particularly at B20 biochar, declined. With the addition of biochar, the contents of MDA, O2•− and H2O2displayed remarkable decrease, however, maximum and minimum of these substances belonged to I4B0 and I1B20, respectively. Interestingly, biochar application alleviated the negative impact of reduced irrigation on the leaf gas exchange parameters, crop yields, water use efficiency, chlorophyll content, uptake of nutrients, and plant water status. Measured and simulated results revealed a special biochar application threshold for each irrigation regime with respect to seed yield. Response rate to biochar was ceased at lower biochar rates by prolonging irrigation. But the response of I2 treatment to biochar ceased at higher biochar rate as Bcritical (14 t ha-1). This implies that I2 improved response of pumpkin to biochar, which was accompanied by its higher WUE. These results indicate that biochar amendment could be considered as a successful strategy for improving the water productivity and increased crop production in study region (Gorgan). This study was conducted in greenhouse condition to investigate the growth, morphological and physiological changes and some antioxidant enzyme activities of one-year-old seedlings of Alnus subcordata C. A. Mey. inoculated with Rhizophagus irregularis mycorrhizal fungi under water deficit stress in a period of 70 days. The experiment was carried out at two inoculation levels (control or non-inoculated seedlings and inoculated with R. irregularismycorrhizal fungi) and with two levels of irrigation including irrigation at field capacity (control treatment) and irrigation at 30% of field capacity (water deficit treatment) in a completely randomized design with four treatments and 10 replications. Results revealed that morphological and physiological characteristics of A. subcordata seedlings significantly decreased under water deficit stress at 99% level while all enzymatic activities significantly increased. Although the morphological characteristics such as height and diameter growth, root length, leaf area, and leaf, stem, root, and total biomass significantly increased by 20-30% in R. irregularis mycorrhiza treatment of the irrigation control plants, these features increased by 55, 40, 46, 47, 37, 35, 50 and 37%, respectively when the plants under water deficit treatment were added R. irregularis mycorrhiza compared to non-mycorrhiza water deficit treatment. The meancomparisonresults indicated that the photosynthesis rate, stomatal conductance, transpiration, and leaf water potential reduced by 57, 54, 53, and 65%, respectively under water deficit regime whereas addition of R. irregularis mycorrhizal fungi in soil alleviated the effects of water deficit. Also, under water deficit condition, activities of catalase, peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, and ascorbate peroxidase significantly increased in comparison with field capacity irrigated seedlings while treatment of soil with mycorrhiza mitigated the destructive effects of water deficit. In general, the present study showed that inoculation of R. irregularis mycorrhizal fungi can alleviate physiological indexes and antioxidant enzyme and consequently leading to an increased tolerance of A. subcordata seedlings during the first year. Rural women in Pakistan, under a small holding system of farming, play a pivotal role in farming. They actively participate in a range of activities related to crop production and livestock management. Rural women remain busy from dawn to dusk in various agricultural activities, including pre-harvest, post-harvest and livestock management. Their participation is well dispersed but less perceived because of insufficient data to show their active involvement in various agricultural activities. Keeping these points in mind, this study was designed to explore the extent of women’s participation in various agricultural activities in district Bahawalpur (Southern Punjab, Pakistan). A total of 125 rural women were selected through multistage random sampling technique and interviewed with a well-designed, pre-tested interview schedule, and the data was analyzed using SPSS. The results of the data analysis revealed that rural women’s participation level was at the top (M=2.87 and SD=0.42) in picking of cotton while their participation level was found low (M=1.78 and SD=0.88) in broadcasting of seed/fertilizer among different crop production and management related activities. While on the other hand their extent of participation was found at the top (M=2.90 and SD=0.30) in cleaning of animal’s sheds and found low (M=2.02 and SD=0.83) in calf rearing among different livestock production and management which were being performed by rural women. Regarding daily time given by rural women to perform various crop production, livestock production and household activities majority of rural women they devote>than 8 hours in a day to perform these activities as reported by 27.2%, 32.8% and 76.8% of the respondents, respectively. It is recommended that national commission should be established to recognize and documented the participation of rural women at various national and international forums. It is also recommended that women training wing should be established at national level under the supervision of district administration to train rural women in different areas of crop and livestock production so that they can contribute in a better way in the national economy. In this study, the ecological potential of tourism and protection of the land and offshore section of Nayband National Marine Park, in the southeastern part of the Kangan city in Bushehr province was evaluated. Therefore, after identifying the environmental resources of the area, investigation and preparation of required maps using Landscape Ecology Method using Geographic Information System (GIS) was started. Using national and international criteria, ecological potential of the region for recreational activities was assessed and by overlaying of maps, suitable recreation areas were identified for both land and offshore regions. Two levels (levels 1 and 2) were identified for the land sector and 1 level for the offshore area. Taking into account the growing of the economic development around the region and considering the location of the protected and sensitive areas within the study area, the recreational package was finalized. After zoning and determining the uses of protected areas, based on the information obtained from the identification of biophysical and socioeconomic resources, the zones were presented to supplement the objectives of management and planning of programs at three levels of long term (25 to 50 years), medium term (5-25 years) and short term (5 years), of the national park. Due to the increase of the immigrant population in the region, and limited capacity of the park for recreational activities, the national park will not answer this volume of tourists. Therefore, two categories were set for the program, the first category was the removal of recreational activities from the National Marine Park of Nay Band to the areas outside the park with a higher priority and the second category was organizing the recreational activities of the park. This study presents the appropriate zoning for recreational activities along Karaj river basin, with a case study on Shahrestanak River. Shahrestanak Village is located in Alborz Mountains and therefore is a high mountainous region. The Shahrestanak River originates from northern slopes of 3930 meters high Tochal Mountain; it is 18 km long and its river discharge, according to annual statistics, is of the order of 30 million m3/s, which supplies Karaj Dam to a great extent. In this research GIS was used to prepare maps for extensive and centralized recreation zoning. Factors of slope, direction, height, soil, and climate were taken into account and classified for zoning of Karaj river basin. Results of the study showed that, 2.05% of the total area of Shahrestanak river basin has zones with adequate potential, 43.19% of the area has zones with relatively adequate potential and 54.73% of the river basin is potentially inadequate for summer intensive (centralized) tourism. Regarding winter intensive (centralized) tourism, 2.07% of Shahrestanak river basin area has zones with adequate potential, 31.67% has zones with relatively adequate potential and 66.27% of the river basin is potentially inadequate for this purpose. However, for extensive tourism, 13.16% of Shahrestanak river basin has zones with adequate potential, 88% has zones with relatively adequate potential and 17.36% of the river basin has zones with inadequate potential. As findings indicate, due to the mountainous condition and high altitude of Shahrestanak region, has a potential for extensive tourism and should be considered as a priority for the area. In addition, the zoning results indicate that only the river banks may have adequate and relatively adequate potential for summer and winter intensive (centralized) tourism. Manuscript profile

Abstract Among several causes of the conflict between Iran and the international order, the most important factor is Iran's nuclear activities. Since Iran's nuclear program has affected all the economic, political, social and cultural realms of the society to address this issue is considered to be a remarkable effort. In this paper, we try to present a solution to the conflict between Iran and the U.S. to provide for an inter-subjective understanding so that the present conflict between Iran and the international order would be transformed into interaction. This article draws on a constructivist approach with an emphasis on identity as the constitutive element of relations among countries especially from the view point of values and norms. Although the failure of nuclear talks between Iran and the international institutions is influenced by several variables, it is the “self” perception of the “other” as well as a rigid and inflexible identity that renders any session to solve the dilemma into failure. In fact, through a comprehensive statement of the values and norms governing the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is expected that the present conflict situation may convert into interaction.   Key words: Iran's nuclear activities, Conflict, Interaction, Identity, Norm     Manuscript profile

The aim of this research is paying attention to the power structure in the family and its influential role on social participation in the city and villages of Kerman in 1396. This research has been done by survey method. According to Sharp Cochran formula, the city sample size is 384 families and the sample size in villages is 118 families. Cluster sampling and random sampling were used as sampling methods and the questionnaire technique was used. Validity of the questionnaire was validated by five university professors who were native and for reliability the spss was used; reliability was 0.98, it means the research is valid and applicable.Base on the independent T-Test significant difference can be seen between the power structure of the family in the city and the village. In the urban community, structure of the family is relatively symmetric, and in rural community the power construction was unilateral and father-centered which has affected social participation. According to research results, such as what Durkheim emphasizes on increasing coherence in the transition from the mechanical community to the organic community. In the above society, when moving from the rural community to the urban community, we see more symmetrical power and a high level of social participation. Manuscript profile

Nowadays, one of the most important issues that projects-based companies need in order to better manage project portfolios and financial planning is managing project costs. In project cost management, using a set of techniques and principles for project and financial control, it is possible to examine the financial performance of each project in terms of its actual operating cost (actual cost) compared to the estimated cost for the work performed and the corrective solutions to reduce costs And put it under control.Since reducing the duration of activities by allocating more resources to each activity is possible but requires higher costs for the implementation of those activities, it should be noted that the hasty pursuit of activities can lead to a decrease in its quality level Therefore, in the process of compressing the time of activities, in addition to the cost index, the activity quality index should also be considered. In this paper, a mathematical model for project cost management based on the critical path method approach is presented. Considering a specific figure under the project budget ceiling, two goals are to minimize the total cost of the project (the classical model) and aim to maximize the quality of the activities, simultaneously. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between modern teaching methods and self-regulated learning strategies with the mediating role of students’ perceptions of classroom activities. The research was applied in terms of purpose and the method was descriptive, correlational. The statistical population of this study included 4816 students of Secondary school of Neka. The sample included 381 participants recruited by using Krejcie and Morgan’s Table via stratified random sampling concerning gender. The data were gathered by using three Questionnaires: Valinejad Sangdehee et al.’s (2016) modern teaching methods, Bouffard et al.’s (1995) self-regulated learning strategies, and Gantry et al.’s (2002) perceptions of classroom activities Questionnaires. The reliability of the instruments was calculated to be 0.70, 0.77 and 0.92 respectively using Cronbach’s alpha. To analyze the collected data structural equation modeling was employed using the PLS software. The results of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between modern teaching methods and measuring the perceptions of classroom activities with self-regulated learning strategies. 83.7% of self-regulated learning strategies and 73.3% of perceptions of classroom activities were explained by modern teaching methods. The perceptions of classroom activities had a mediating effect on the relationship between modern teaching methods and self-regulated learning strategies. The indices indicated that the proposed model is an appropriate fit. Manuscript profile

Half of human society is composed of women who play a critical role in society formation. Women’s position in the early Islam demonstrate that they have been actively involved in social, economical, scientific, political and even defending affairs and along with preservation of their magnanimous and purity, they have been successful in many cases. This research is done to explore sociological participation of women Muslims in the early Islam from time of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) uprising (the year of 62 Lunar Hijri) to reach the scientific achievement of the extent and effective role of women in Islamic society. It uses historical documents studying and the method of gathering information in attributional. The conclusions of this study depict that women did not have a prominent position before the Islam and were deprived of many of their humanistic rights and with the emergence of Islam, a holistic transformation was made in women’s prestige and position in a way that in different fields such as fealty, Hejira and defense of Imams, they were helpers of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and Imam of time as well as men. Besides, Islam agrees with the political and social presence of women in society; however to preserve the family and women’s dignity and prevention of being abused, Islam has set a framework for women presence in society which the most important of them are having Hijab and purity and attending the women relationships with men in social activities. The fundamental issue addressed in this research stems from the critique of traditional teaching methods that rely on student passivity. Accordingly, to address this shortcoming, the present study endeavors to identify appropriate educational dimensions in light of Imam Reza's (AS) educational approach, considering the capacity of extracurricular activities in both primary and secondary schools. The impetus for this research lies in the notion of utilizing the lofty educational concepts of the Infallible Imams (AS), particularly the educational insights of Imam Reza (AS) in the upbringing of children. The study employed thematic analysis, a prevalent and rigorous qualitative research method. Participants were purposefully selected from the research community (comprising experienced educational researchers and university professors, as well as seminary professors specializing in the foundations of Razavi conduct) using a snowball sampling technique, resulting in a total of 17 participants. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the aforementioned experts and specialists. In the first phase, seminary professors were consulted to code themes and concepts from the text. In the second phase, the views of university professors were sought to validate the selected codes in alignment with extracurricular school activities. The research findings identified five educational dimensions aligned with the educational approach of Imam Reza (AS) for extracurricular school activities: self-improvement, decision-making and problem-solving skills, social relationships, personal growth, and interpersonal communication. Within the framework of these dimensions, a study of the Imam's conduct reveals the teachings related to individual and social ethics and life skills that can be incorporated into extracurricular school activities. Given that Imam Reza (AS) viewed education as encompassing the growth of all aspects of human existence, encompassing attention to all internal and environmental dimensions of the individual, including society, family, and children, it is imperative that educational planners and administrators pay greater attention to utilizing the educational concepts and insights of Imam Reza (AS) in the structuring of extracurricular school activities. A framework for extracurricular school activities should be developed in consultation with experts and specialists, ensuring that educational dimensions based on the Razavi (AS) conduct are incorporated.
