Abstract The present study seeks to examine the functions of transformational leadership in knowledge-based organizations using the grounded theory. Research method is based on the qualitative method of grounded theory. Depth interviews were conducted with 16 experts of the Technical and Vocational University of Tehran selected through snowball sampling. After open, selective, and axial coding of collected data, 160 primary concepts, 29 subcategories and 5 main categories were extracted. The final outcome of this study is the design of a 5-dimensional model whose dimensions are categorized into four bases of strategy, outcomes, interventional conditions, ground-making conditions and causal conditions. The findings of this study indicate that the main function of transformational leaders is a capacity for organizational adaptability. In fact, transformational leaders at Tehran’s Technical and Vocational University resort to adaptability strategy to affect the performance of followers and manage organizational change. It is, therefore, suggested that transformational leaders strengthen corporate social capital by improving horizontal interactions between colleagues, building trust, engaging and collaborating with employees in decision-making, reinforcing the spirit of taking criticism among themselves and colleagues; empower the human labor by their involvement in important organizational decisions and ultimately encourage employees to adapt to changes through empowerment techniques. Field and objective: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and job engagement with the mediating role of emotional creativity among elementary school teachers.Methodology: This research was descriptive-correlational in terms of method. The statistical population of the study included all elementary school teachers in 2019-2020, and the statistical sample (191 people) was selected through stratified random sampling method. The data collecting instruments were Bass’s (1985) transformational Leadership questionnaire (α=0/90), Schaufeli’s (2001) job engagement scale (α=0/78), and Averil’s (1996) emotional creativity questionnaire (α=0/70). The data were analyzed at two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics, and structural equation modeling analysis and SPSS 22 were used to analyze the hypotheses.Findings: Findings indicated the role of emotional creativity as a mediator between transformational leadership and job engagement. There was a positive and significant relationship between the components of transformational leadership (inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, idealized influence & individual consideration) and job engagement. Also, there was a positive and significant relationship between the components of transformational leadership (inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, idealized influence & individual consideration) and emotional creativity (P<0/01).Conclusion: This study showed that there was a significant positive relationship between the components of transformational leadership and teachers' job engagement and emotional creativity. According to this finding, if managers see transformational leadership strategies as a requirement on their leadership style, they can make teachers enthusiastic about their work. On the other hand, by confirming the role of emotional creativity as a mediating variable, it is suggested that in order to increase the job engagement of elementary school teachers, managers can promote their emotional creativity. Background: Drawing upon the resource-based view, the ability-motivation-opportunity theory and social exchange theory I examined how green human resource management interplays on to the linkages amongst green transformational leadership, green innovation, and environmental performance. Using a survey questionnaire, I collected data from 170 employees in the Zobahan factory. Methodology: So. We used covariance-based structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine hypotheses in this study. Results of the study suggest that green HRM practices mediate the influence of green transformational leadership on green innovation. Results: Result also found that green HRM indirectly through green innovation influences a firm's environmental performance. Overall, the findings of this study support all hypotheses of direct and indirect effects and have several theoretical and practical implications. Finally, this study significantly advances theory and suggests that the HRM-performance relationship neither depends upon the additive effect of green transformational leadership and green innovation as antecedent and mediator, respectively nor on their interactive effect but a mix of both combinational forms (i.e., additive and interactive) to affect firm environmental performance. Conclusion: Managers can achieve sustainable development by empowering their human resources through implementing green human resource management. Developing environmental protection policies, hiring people based on environmental values have an influential role in the organization.Key words: Green Transformational Leadership, Green Human Resource Management, Green Innovation, Environmental performance Manuscript profile

In the present descriptive (correlational) study, the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership styles, namely, transformation, transactional and laissez – fair styles were examined among 320 graduate students of Shahid Chamran University, who were selected by categorial random sampling. The data was gathered through two questionnaires: a 36-item multifactor leadership questionnaire (MLQ) and a 33- item emotional intelligence questionnaire (EIQ). The reliability of the MLQ and EIQ questionnaires were 83% and 56% respectively. The main results indicated that emotional intelligence had a significant negative significant correlation with transformational style and a significant positive correlation with laissez-faire style. This variable did not have any significant correlation with transactional style. Among five dimenshions of emotional intelligence, the dimensions of self-regulation and motivation had significant effects on transformational style. These two dimenshions and the dimension of empathy also had significant effects on laissez-faire style, but only motivation had a significant effect on transactional style of leadership. In this study, the researchers found that the mean scores for affective intelligence and laissez-faire leadership style of the students were lower than average, but the mean scores for transformational and transactional leadership styles of the students were higher than average. Today, the sensitivity of the leadership in Education and Training and also in schools at various levels has become an increasingly evident issue. This study aimed to determine the elements and characteristics of leadership styles for school principals. For this purpose, first the theoretical literature review was examined, then the components of leadership style were extracted and the effective elements were determined through examining the experts and making the necessary corrections. The statistical population of the study consisted of all principals, teachers and deputies of Tehran schools and 500 people were determined using the Cochran's formula. The components were analyzed by a researcher-made questionnaire and analyzed by regression test and SPSS software. According to the results, the effect of each component of the leadership style of school principals was determined; however, among the components, the effect of transformational and reformist style, supportive style, goal-orientation, and satisfaction were more than the other ones. It could be concluded that there are various leadership styles for the school principals and the implementation of any leadership style, apart from being relevant to the needs of the school and the upstream organization, depends more on the characteristics of school principals. It is believed that the application of useful leadership styles by school principles, although necessary, requires its own conditions. Manuscript profile

Abstract The purpose of the current research was to investigate the relationship between leadership styles and conflict management strategies of high school principals. This was a descriptive research and a correlational one. 102 high school principals participated in this study. They were selected out of 141 through simple random sampling. Two questionnaires he purpose of data collection: (a) Bass & Avolio's Leadership Style (2000) and (b) Putnam and Wilson's Conflict Management (1994). Content validity of questionnaires was confirmed by experts and their reliability was calculated through Cronbach’s alpha coefficient accounting as 0.84 and 0.85 respectively. Pearson's Correlation, step by step Regression, and Independent T were used for data analysis. The results of research showed a meaningful correlation coefficient between transformational and transactional leadership styles and solution– oriented strategy, and also between laissez–faire leadership style with control and non–intervention strategy. But no meaningful relationship was observed between transformational and transactional leadership styles and control and non– intervention strategy, and also between laissez–faire leadership style with solution–oriented strategy. The best anticipation for non–intervention is strategy laissez–faire leadership style, solution oriented strategy transformational leadership style and control strategy in first step and laissez–faire leadership style and transactional leadership style in the second step. Manuscript profile
