Various methods have been suggested for locating areas for ecotourism development by different researchers, which have different strengths and weaknesses according to the conditions of the region. Obviously, using quantitative methods and reducing expert interference in the decision making process and evaluation can provide better results. Therefore, in order to evaluate ecotourism development, a multi attribute evaluation method based on fuzzy logic and hierarchical process (AHP) has been used. For this purpose, one of the northern forest areas of the country that has various capacities in the field of ecotourism, such as the Kelardasht forests, was selected and studied in the region. At first, ecological criteria and indicators were identified and quantitatively and normalized by fuzzy method. Also, the weight of the indices was determined by hierarchical analysis method(AHP) then, using Weighted Linear combination(WLC) method all the information layers were combined and the ecological potential of the area was mapped for ecotourism. The results show that the WLC is the suitable and efficient method for locating recreational areas in the study area. Because the simultaneous use of fuzzy logic and the AHP method for determining the weight of the indices provides one more logical condition for evaluation lands by the WLC method. Meanwhile, in this method. One of the most important results of this study is the effect of forest condition on ecotourism demand. Also, road construction in the region has attracted visitors from the region and has led to an increase in demand for ecotourism. On the other hand, forest and environmental degradation will reduce demand for ecotourism in the area. Manuscript profile

Background: The tourism industry, due to its strong dependence on weather conditions, is influenced more by climate change; this impact is more intense in Faridounshahr County, where its ecotourism potential is more dependent on the climatic conditions. Method: In this research, the trend representing the bio-climatic tourism changes of Fereydounshahr County was investigated by using nonparametric methods. For this purpose, the monthly climatic elements employed in the TCI tourism climate model were used during a period of 30 years, from 1987 to 2016.   Finding: The results obtained by conducting the Man-Kendall test showed that the trend related to variations in the maximum daily and the average daily temperature was a growing one; while variations in the minimum average and the average relative humidity showed a deceasing trend; this was followed by a decrease in the amount of precipitation, thereby severely affecting the TCI index. Changes in bioclimatic conditions of some months were another consequence of the changes in the trend of climatic parameters. For example, January living conditions varied from very inappropriate to inappropriate, March changed from inappropriate to border conditions, and April conditions ranged from acceptable to borderline. Discussion and Conclusion: Change in climatic conditions include; the significant decrease of precipitation, as accompanied by an increase in the average temperature and the average maximum temperature, had such consequences as decreased snow falls, the rapid melting of snow in high altitudes, and the reduced desirability of the environment for recreation on the snow in the cold season,  as well as the loss of mountain climates and the liveliness of vegetation and animal ecosystems. This will lead to decrease in eco-tourism attractions. Manuscript profile

Tourism is now one of the most important economic, social and cultural issues. Development of ecotourism as one of the most attractive type of tourism could have had remarkable environmental impacts in addition to its economic, social and cultural effects. These effects would have had destructive impacts on many aspects of human and natural environment if not carefully considered, and do not develop preventive measures in the form of guidelines, standards and continuous evaluations and would have caused instability in environment and consequently in ecotourism. However, ecotourism as an appropriate tool could have had a global or regional role in sustainable tourism. Unfortunately, ecotourism now is not properly managed and is defined in a way that is far from the standards which are discussed in this paper to achieve sustainable success. For example, community participation and satisfaction of native people in tourism activities is one of the necessities to achieve the goals of sustainable tourism. On the other hand, adopted tourism policies not only should have pay attention to the marketing and the number of visitors but also should considered to the visitors experience quality and the region integrity. The purpose of this article is to explain, interpret and differentiate the concepts of tourism and ecotourism and develop some of the required principles and policies to achieve the sustainable tourism using ecotourism. Increasing the number of tourists with the high ecological potential of a region can have devastating and irreversible effects on the host or destination community or lead to a decrease in the quality of the tourism experience. Ethical codes also have their own complexities and must be carefully considered. If this is not taken into the account, environmental and social problems will plague society and if the environment is destroyed, the greatest harm is to man himself, who is in fact in conflict with sustainable development. Conservation means both the care and rational use of natural resources; therefore, ecotourism is sustainable that responds to the needs of today's generation and also considers the needs of future generations. The present study is an applied research that, considering the cases mentioned, has investigated the environmental effects of ecotourism in South Khorasan province and the position of environmental education in reducing its destructive effects. This means that it covers all the needs of the host and host community and benefits both parties. The method of review is through observation, interview and review of available documents, which first refers to the tourism potentials of this province as well as the problems that have been encountered due to the development of ecotourism. Finally, environmental education has been discussed as the best and most effective way to inform and create a sense of responsibility among the community, especially those who enter it with the aim of protecting nature.   Manuscript profile

In this research, in order to allocate land for development of ecotourism, a multi criteria evaluation method based on analytical network process and fuzzy logic was used. The ecological criteria such as soil, climate, water resources, geology and physiographic, as well as socioeconomic criteria, such as land use, distance from road, distance from built-up areas, distance from sightseeing attractions, and distance from tourism facilities were identified and then quantified using fuzzy method. In order to generate a land use map, remotely sensed data of OLI land sat 8 dated was used. Field data were collected in 2015. Thereafter, the factors influencing the allocation of lands to ecotourism were ranked using analytical network process method. Finally, using a weighted linear combination (WLC) operator, all information layers were combined in a ArcGIS®10.1 environment, followed by preparation of the final map of the ecotourism development power. In order to carry out the accuracy assessment, 20% of homogeneous land units which were suitable for ecotourism were randomly selected. The result of field check proved that 94% of the identified land units were completely compatible with natural condition. The obtained results indicate that the ecological criteria account for 0.64 of the final weight in total, suggesting the greater involvement of ecological criteria in developing functionality for ecotourism. The results from the quantitative method (WLC) showed that 75.2% of the study area are capable for ecotourism purposes, although the degree of culpability is varied. The rest (24.8%) has no suitability for ecotourism. From the capable areas, about 30.32% are highly capable for different ecotourism purposes. Concomitant use of fuzzy logic and ANP method for prioritization of criteria provides a more logical and flexible condition for land evaluation based on WLC method. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was extensive ecotourism modeling in the Venaii Basin of Boroujerd County in Lorestan province. Also the determination of suitability classes, delete of barriers to the suitability and the priority of affecting factors on suitability were second aims. This study was conducted in 2015 based on literature, questioner and field data. At the first affecting factors on ecotourism ware ranked by Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) according to standard questionnaire, tourism comments, expert view points and literature review. Then incorporated and combined spatial and attribute layers corresponding to each factor such as topographic maps, satellite images, sharing date by county officials and basic maps in ArcGIS®9.3 software. Investigated factors fall into two main categories physical and non-physical. Totally 12 factors investigated according to kind of extensive ecotourism and then prepared maps based on priority. Results show that two main factors have equal value based on AHP method. Additionally, results pointed out that in physical factors, soil sensitive is the most important factor and road accessibility is less significant with 0.22 and 0.01 ranks respectively. Inconsistency was 0.4 that show logic comparatives. There was no difference priority between plant and animal diversity and land uses in non-physical factors in which show had equal indexes. Regions categorized into three sections based on the FAO method from very suit (S1) to low suit (S3). In addition, this study result appears practically useful for the development of tourism facilities and ecotourism resource utilization: First, for the highly suitable areas with S1 class (2150 ha, 36.66%), most of which are located in the mountain areas characterized by slopes and height. Low suitable in some part of the area which located on hills and low height was about 1235 ha (21.07%). Because of extensive ecotourism there was no any limitation to develop. Overall must attend that village development and decrease of plant cover cause negative effect on diversity and the degradation of nature and also region pollution. This unusual development cause less potential ecotourism in the future that must decision making. On the other hand, if create a shelter in suite location middle of the way to pick it will encourage to climbing. Manuscript profile

In order to create sustainable development in the tourism industry, the proper understanding of environmental potentials and its sensitivity to human activities is very important. This study has identified and prioritized the potential of ecotourism sites in the Kojur basin of Mazandaran province. Physiographies criteria, including slope, direction, and elevation, as well as criteria of distance from road, river, village, sliding locations and canopy percent, were selected as the appropriate index. The criteria were evaluated and fuzzy by the experts and Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. Subsequently, using the Ordered weighted average (OWA) scenarios, the appropriate ecotourism site was selected. To reduce risk and increase managerial power, Boolean logic was used. The results showed that the landslide and the roads had a maximum value of 0.315 and 0.238, respectively. The output maps of the OWA scenarios have shown that the northeastern range of the cougar basin is the most optimal location for the establishment of the ecotourism site, and the northern region was ranked next. In the scenario of the low-risk level and non-compensated, and low-risk level and low compensation scenario, 83 hectares of land were recognized for the appropriate ecotourism site. While, average risk and complete compensation, high risk and low compensation, average risk and non-compensation and high risk and no compensation, were 3179, 1255, 1909, and 2577 hectares respectively for ecotourism sites. The Boolean logic output showed that about 47 hectares of northeastern lands of Kojour basin are an appropriate ecotourism site. Manuscript profile

Background and Objective Ecotourism activities lead to the development and environmental conservation if they performed on the basis ‎of environmental potential and continue through appropriate exploitation and conservation of managed ‎areas. Therefore, ecotourism is known as one of the kinds of sustainable tourism that with reasonable ‎management is able to meet the protection and development goals. One of the most ‎important management activities is zoning and spatial prioritization of suitable areas for tourism ‎development. Suitable areas have the best status of predefined evaluation criteria. The selecting process ‎of the appropriate zone involves two main steps typically; screening (identifying a limited number of ‎candidate zones from a wide geographical area according to a range of criteria), and evaluation. Land evaluation is a process of predicting the potential use of land-based on its attributes. Due to the ‎importance of zoning in tourism management, many studies have been done so far, but a review of ‎studies conducted in Iran showed that coastlines have been less considered in such studies. Therefore, ‎the present study intends to identify and prioritize suitable ecotourism areas in a part of the southern ‎coasts of the country according to ecological and socio-economic resources. The present study is to investigate the capability and zoning of the eastern watershed of Chabahar Gulf with a coastal length of 47 km for coastal tourism and also to identify and select the most suitable areas based on their preference in terms of criteria.  Materials and Methods At first, all possible criteria for land suitability evaluation for tourism development in the study area were selected according to the review of resources, and finally, using a questionnaire and Delphi method, the criteria were finalized. The identified evaluation criteria were in two forms of factor (continuous and discrete) and constraint as; Continuous factor criteria included; distance from the river, distance from the wetlands, distance from the mountains of Hezar-Dareh (Badlands)‎, distance from the port and the pier, distance from historical and cultural centers, distance from specific vegetation, distance from the specific animal, distance from agricultural lands, distance from the natural fountain, distance from rocky shores, distance from sandy shores, distance from the road, distance from rural areas, and distance from urban areas. Discrete factor criterion included; vegetation and restriction criteria included; wetland backline, river backline, and shore backline. Evaluation criteria were identified, prepared, and mapped. Finally Merged using the multi-criteria evaluation method (MCE) and the weighted linear ‎combination (WLC) approach. The weight of each factor ‎criterion was obtained by the analytic hierarchy process ‎‎(AHP) and all layers related to these criteria were ‎standardized and dimensionless by the fuzzy method. The ‎standardization of constraint criteria was performed by the ‎Boolean method.‎ Areas that have more than 70% suitability for the coastal ecotourism development and also have at least 9 hectares extension were identified as acceptable areas. These two filters were implemented by applying the Siteselect function.  Results and DiscussionThe consistency ratio for the AHP were obtained 0.05, which is less than 0.1, therefore the weighting was done correctly. The filtered map (based on minimum area and minimum suitability) obtained from WLC showed that suitable areas for ecotourism development are along the coastline and mainly natural factors and spectacular geological attractions have been effective in this selection. The results of weighting the criteria show that rocky shores, sandy shores, and mountains of Hezar Dareh have the most weight among all operating criteria, which are respectively 0.19, 0.134, 0.12, and 0.09 and show the great attractiveness of these phenomena in attracting tourists from the experts' point of view. The resulting layer ‎of overlay was classified into two favorable and unfavorable classes. The results showed that the appropriate places for potential tourism were 233 hectares and are ‎located in seven zones along ‎the coast. Zones 4, 5, 2, and 3 had more priority, respectively based on the statistical characteristics of desirability, as well as the superiority of landscape features, proximity to the sea, and the greater accessibility, also the well-known locations. The field study also showed that these areas are more visited by tourists, which indicates the validity of the method and criteria used. Zones 7, 1 and, 6 are also in the next priority, respectively, which need more management and planning in terms of access to increase the tourism suitability. These results show the role of socio-economic factors, especially infrastructure. Ignoring it will lead to the elimination of recreational use or the imposition of irreparable damage to the environment.  Conclusion So far, our study area was less affected by accelerated development and its nature remains healthy. In this regard, allocating parts of the region to ecotourism landuse, if properly managed, can ensure the conservation of the environmental quality of the identification zones, because ecotourism is mentioned as the best policies of natural resources management which lead to the reduction of destructive factors and their sustainable protection, and on the other hand, by developing ecotourism sites and improving tourism facilities, the economic state of the tourist host community also improves. Among the identified zones, four zones 4, 5, 2, and 3 are suggested as the first priority ‎for tourism planning respectively.‎ Organizing, developing, and improving communication networks and roads in the region will increase the suitability of the region, especially zones 7, 1, and 6. Therefore, the development of communication networks and air transportation, maritime transportation, and Ground transportation and facilities and welfare and accommodation facilities needed by tourists are suggested, as well as maritime tourism tours to increase the region's attractiveness in attracting domestic and foreign tourists. Also, due to the high attraction of the mountains of Hezar-Dareh, which also have geological importance, it is suggested that parts of the study area be managed as a geological park or geopark. A more detailed study of the area is suggested to a spatial selection of coastal tourism activities with more comprehensive spatial information in the identified suitable areas in this study for future studies. http://dorl.net/dor/20.1001.1.26767082.1400.12.1.6.7 Manuscript profile

integrationthe action of incorporating a racial or religious group into a communityMore (Definitions, Synonyms, Translation) Background and ObjectiveVolcanic Mount Damavand has unique landscapes and special geomorphological phenomena, wildlife diversity, vegetation, and unique climatic conditions and is one of the most important tourist destinations in Mazandaran province. Therefore, the protection of these unique reserves, especially geological phenomena that are the result of millions of year’s global evolution in this region, is important. Therefore, comprehensive national and international planning based on the principles of sustainable development is essential for the continuation of this world heritage. By using valuable tools such as GIS, it is possible to identify prone areas to geotourism development for sustainable development in the region and then apply the evaluation and optimal management. In addition to scientific values, geocomposites have many conservation, cultural, aesthetic, social and economic values. For the comprehensive management of watersheds, it is necessary to consider all the natural and human aspects affecting geotourism. In this study, in order to identify the potential of geotourism, an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) has been used with the GIS. Materials and Methods Mount Damavand with a height of 5672 meters is located in northern Iran. It is the highest peak in Iran and the Middle East, as well as the highest semi-active volcanic peak in Asia. Damavand is a stratified and semi-active volcanic mountain that was mainly formed during the fourth geological period called the Quaternary and Holocene eras. From the point of view of country divisions, it is located in Amol city of Mazandaran province. Its altitude is 5672 meters above sea level, the average annual rainfall is 540 mm and it is mainly in the form of snow. The climate of this part of the basin is semi-humid climate according to the Koppen method and cold semi-humid climate according to the Ambrege method. In order to determine the effective indices in identifying the potential areas for geotourism development, the study of criteria is divided into two categories of effective criteria and restrictive development. Layers of development obstacles include; rivers and main roads, side roads and inter-rural roads. The effective layers studied along with the relative weight obtained from the analysis of the questionnaire were considered to superimpose the layers with a specific weight for each layer. The results of completing the questionnaire by the audience, to determine the relative weight, information layers were formed in the GIS environment. In this study, using geographic information system (GIS) tools and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method, the weighting of effective criteria susceptible areas with geotourism development capability within a radius of 20 km of mount Damavand were performed. Results and Discussion The criteria inconsistency rate is less than 0.1, there is no need to reconsider the judgments. According to the final results obtained from overlaying effective layers in the development of geotourism by the Weighted Overlay function in GIS software, the study area with an area of 1256 square kilometres, after subtracting the restrictive areas, is divided into five classes; very inappropriate, unsuitable, medium, suitable and very suitable. The results showed, that the regions were classified into 5 categories: very inappropriate (1.34%), unsuitable (19.11%), medium (56.44%), suitable (20.94%) and very suitable (2.16%). then, after the field visit, 40 Alternatives were identified and examined in terms of the importance of development potential in the region. Evaluation of 40 Alternatives shows that 25, 40 and 35% of the alternatives have very good, appropriate and average potential, respectively. The results show that most of the susceptible areas with geotourism development capability, are located in the east and southeast of Mount Damavand. This can be caused by the density of various facilities, including villages, cities, roads and rivers, and so on. The high potential areas are more in the north, centre to the southeast of the protected area that has vegetation and forest, water resources and high geomorphological values and low potential areas are more in South and west is the range. This can be seen in the present study. Also, most of the area has medium to high potential, which indicates a good potential of the area. Conclusion One of the main reasons for the lack of integration in determining areas with geotourism potential is the lack of comprehensive and codified scientific criteria and indices. Geotourism, as one of the sub-branches of tourism, is a way to explain various geological and geomorphological concepts, it can be used as an industry for the construction and development of economic geology. In this study, in order to determine the susceptible areas with geotourism development capability with a view to the sustainable development of the region, the studied criteria were determined according to the availability of their information. These layers include; geology, distance from rivers, city, villages, communication roads, altitude, slope and aspect, rainfall and temperature as effective layers and road and river maps were considered as a constraint layer. In different studies, according to the availability of information of each layer in the study area and according to the purpose of the study, the layer of effective criteria and obstacles are different. After a field survey and identifying 40 alternatives, the results of overlaying the identified alternatives with the final potential map showed 35% of the alternatives in areas with very good potential, 40% of the options in areas with good potential, and 25% of the alternatives has medium development potential, respectively. This method is used to exploit natural resources and prepare tourism, welfare maps and can be a key step for the sustainable development of regions, and can provide a key step for the sustainable development of areas prone to tourism with different goals.   http://dorl.net/dor/20.1001.1.26767082.1400.12.1.1.2 Manuscript profile

Background and Objective Ecotourism attractions and capabilities are one of the unique assets of each country in the region. That its identification, classification, and planning are very important for the development of scientific tourism, This branch of tourism, especially in compliance with international rules and standards, introduces the phenomena resulting from the landscape, geology, and geomorphology to tourists while preserving their spatial identity, and also organizes the observation of this treasure and it prevents its destruction by humans and on the other hand, can provide the ground for the development of the region. The natural tourism industry, especially ecotourism and Geotourism, as a green industry, has the least dependence on basic water and soil resources, and at the same time is very important in terms of income, employment, and cultural development. A Semirom city in terms of structural features of the existing natural system and also human issues related to its location and having natural capabilities such as waterfalls, springs, caves, rivers, high mountains and peaks and lakes, and beautiful villages and mainly compatible with the natural environment and, etc. It can be one of the potential regions of the country to expand Geo-tourism and attract capital. Meanwhile, this region is located in the southern part of the country and the growing trend of this province and the increase in population, and the need for recreation, employment, and attracting economic investments them is undeniable.Materials and Methods In this research, the fuzzy Shannon-Wiener model has been used to zoning the Geotourism potentials of Semirom city. For modeling, natural and human parameters in the region were used as indicators for Shannon. These indicators include altitude, slope, distance from the river, distance from Geosite, distance from the peak, distance from Imamzadeh, distance from plain, distance from land use, distance from the land unit, distance from the lake, distance from the waterfall, distance from the cave, Distance from spring, distance from the fault, distance from the road, distance from the village, protected areas, and climate. All points were harvested by GPS. The required maps and criteria were prepared in the GIS environment and a number of maps were removed. Using the Shannon entropy technique and with the cooperation of experts, the decision table was first scaled. Then, the weight of each criterion was calculated to be used in prioritizing rural options including Wardasht, Hana, Vanak, Lower Padna, and Upper Padna, Middle Padna (which is the smallest political unit of the city and is considered a study unit). Then, the scale was calculated and in the final step, after calculating the positive and negative ideal solutions of the options, their prioritization was done by calculating the relative proximity of the options to the ideal solution. The weight map of the entropy criterion was calculated for each criterion and the weight of each criterion was multiplied by the criteria score and the final result of the final entropy map was obtained. Numerous different models and techniques have been developed and proposed to study and evaluate Geotourism and ecotourism. Geotourism evaluation models try to study and evaluate the potentials and capabilities of Geotourism at the regional and national levels, identify places or areas with Geotourism capabilities, and introduce them for further planning and actions. In this method, a Geocomposite is interpreted based on three scientific values, added and combined. In the scientific value of the indicators of uniqueness, entanglement, and re-observability, ancient geography is considered. In scientific value, the ancient geographical index is very important because it helps to analyze the earth's condition and climatic history. Because the criterion of ancient geography has a special place in scientific value due to the past of the earth and climate. In value-added, ecological, aesthetic, economic, and cultural indicators are considered with emphasis on the index (land-histories). The purpose of calculating value added is to make a connection between Geomorphology and tourism by highlighting the indicators in question. Under the criteria of combined value, more emphasis is placed on managerial actions of officials and planning for tourism development, creation of tourism infrastructure, and promoting measures. In Reynard's method, group scoring is based on average individual scores or combining the opinions of other experts. Results and Discussion Evaluation of this area shows that Semirom city is a lesser known area for tourists and its geological resources are less identified and introduced; however, in terms of value and science, it offers interesting features to the tourist land. Variety and a high number of phenomena, easy access to almost all parts of the city through asphalt and dirt roads, unique and beautiful geological shapes, and the juxtaposition of different layers and formations with different ages and characteristics, are all among the factors that make this area prone to Geotourism development. Therefore, Semirom city has the necessary capacity to develop tourist land. These potentials and interesting and potential resources can be turned into Geotourist attractions by using library search, websites, maps, asking local people, and field visits were identified and introduced. Then they were evaluated according to the scales defined by the Reynard method. Among the 4 selected landforms, Dengzlu Cave was the first, Takht-e-Soliman was the second, abshar was the third, and Cheshmeh Bazarang was the fourth. Also, the final potential mapping map of the city by entropy method showed that approximately 108.8425 square kilometers (6.7%) of this city have a very low potential for Geo-tourism, 388.275 km2, low potential (23.9%), 322,300 km2. Medium potential (19.8%), 2327.450 square kilometers has high potential (26.3%) and 378.1650 square kilometers have very high potential (23.27%) for Geoecotourism. Conclusion According to the information obtained during the research, the biggest obstacles to the development of tourism and tourism, are land in the city of Semirom, the unknown in this area and its potential resources, and the lack of facilities at the lowest level for tourists that if these barriers are removed can be the city used to attract tourists. Regarding the advantages of the Reynard method, the total value added among all 4 landforms is higher than the other values. Dangzloo Cave and Takht-e Soleiman, as the most valuable geological resources in the region for the development of Geoecotourism, should be given more attention. Above all, the introduction of these resources and the geological attractiveness of these unique natural forms will play the greatest role in the presence of the tourist land. Manuscript profile

Success in the field of tourism depends on having historical and scenic monuments, beautiful and developed cities, people with high culture, knowledge and awareness, statesmen free from the induction of personal thoughts, efficient planning system, and so on. In the meantime, it can be said that the role of cities in attracting tourists has higher degrees. Border cities can be successful in attracting tourists due to their security role and the gateway for goods and people. Establishment of border markets, the existence of rivers and natural factors, the existence of historical monuments such as castles or the type of border in such cities, are among the factors attracting tourism.Methodology:        This article descriptively-analytically and using library resources and tables and websites, seeks to investigate the role and position of border cities in the geopolitical development of tourism and tourist attraction. The main question of this article is whether border cities can be successful in attracting tourism and developing tourism by using tourism geopolitics? And the hypothesis of the article is that border cities with the potential to attract tourism and the geopolitical position they have in a country, can be successful in developing and attracting tourism. Results and discussion:       The role and function that border cities can play today in attracting tourism and developing tourism is obvious. Border cities with an important position in the geopolitical position of a country and according to the geopolitics of tourism can be successful in terms of economic development and income in terms of tourism. Among the potentials that border cities have in attracting tourism, we can mention the existence of historical monuments, the type of border, border markets. Within cities, the presence of buildings and historical sites are among the factors that are effective in attracting tourism. Existence of historical monuments such as castles, houses of important historical figures and leaders, baths, citadels, etc. with a special type of architecture, can be successful in attracting tourism. In border cities, which have long had more security functions, the existence of buildings such as castles, forts and citadels leads to the development of tourism. Such cities are always considered because of their security position and their influential role in the geopolitical situation and the promotion of the geopolitical level for a country. Today, due to the trend of globalization and the income role of tourism in the economies of countries, border cities with historical monuments can be successful in planning in the field of tourism.         Borders have different functions and functions and are different in terms of type. Therefore, with the passage of time and changes in the borders between the two countries, some borders can become tourist attractions. If we want to talk about new borders in the age of globalization, we must talk about the borders that have become a barrier between the two regions like a wall. For example, the wall of racism, the wall of two spheres, the wall of explosion, the wall of poverty, the wall of technology and the US-Mexico border fence. Which can be attractive from a tourist point of view. In addition, what can help economic development and attract population and tourism in border cities are border markets in the periphery of countries; Border markets are enclosed areas located at the zero point of the border and adjacent to customs are allowed to carry out clearance procedures and residents on both sides of the border can offer the goods and products they need in accordance with export and import regulations in these markets. The least effect of having a border market is to increase the retention rate of border residents in border areas and increase the security factor for countries.Since tourism and tourism development are considered as a way of economic income for countries today, the existence of historical monuments and factors such as border markets and the type of borders in border and peripheral cities of countries can be effective in developing tourism for countries. The presence of historical monuments, including historical castles in border cities, attracts tourists interested in seeing ancient monuments. Existence of such buildings that were built in the past for the protection and security of cities, today, by losing their security function, can be used for tourism purposes, which is probably the case, and castles such as Hasanlu Castle are tourist destinations. Is in Iran. In fact, marginal areas in some countries, due to their distance from the capital in some developing countries and the Third World, are sometimes forgotten in the decision-making process and their role in management is diminished, while border cities are in a position to The geopolitics of a country play an important role and play a key role in providing security for the borders of countries. Border markets due to economic prosperity and the expansion of relations between the two countries on both sides of the border can help indicators such as job creation, migration, solving security problems. Conclusion:       The city, as one of the areas of human environment, plays an important role in development and national security. Man has always needed security and throughout history, the protection of his life and property has been one of his main concerns. You can not live without security. Having security depends on having a healthy and developed environment that are complementary to each other, that is, security leads to development and development creates security, and the urban environment is considered as the foundation of these two categories. Border cities, due to their location and role in the national security of a country, and due to their position in a country, have the ability to play a role in attracting tourism and developing tourism. Therefore, according to the model of Western European countries in attracting tourism, it can be said that the geopolitics of tourism can act as a factor for the development of tourism in border cities. The fixed and variable factors mentioned in the geopolitical development of tourism in Tan can be effective in developing the role of border cities to attract tourists. Within such cities, the existence of historical monuments, the type of border, the creation of border markets, are among the potentials that are effective for the development of tourism. Therefore, border cities have the ability to be successful in tourism development, given the existing factors and potentials. Inevitably, border cities, due to their location, have the ability to develop the geopolitics of tourism and attract tourists. Manuscript profile

With the development of urbanization and increasing mental pressures, citizens have also experienced increasing physical diseases. In this connection, health tourism assumes greater importance for people to use health and hygienic facilities. One of the areas in which cities compete with each other is their capability of attracting domestic and foreign treatment tourists. The level of reference and stay of health tourists is considerably highest than other tourists, and this indicates the significance of health tourism. The health tourism sector is one of the principal components of urban economic strength that guarantees residents’ quality of life. The aim of the present study was to measure the feasibility of health tourism capacities in the city of Maragheh using sustainable urban development. The study was an applied study and fell under the quantitative and qualitative research. The data were obtained by using documentary and observational studies via a researcher-made questionnaire. Health tourism evaluation criteria included 27 variables of social-cultural, economic, and environmental (ecological) components. The statistical population of the study consisted of 384 people who were present at health tourism places.  To analyze the data, the structural equation modeling and SPSS, AMOS, and MPLUS software were used. Findings revealed that the component of tourism economics with the factor loading of 0.95 held the highest effects on the sustainable health tourism, and the component of local culture (factor loading of 0.63), terminal equipment (factor loading of 0.62) held the lowest effects. As well, the component5 of sustainable tourism with the direct and indirect effects of 0.815 and 0.131 held the highest effects, while the component of the environment with the direct and indirect effects of 0.634 and 0.164 held the lowest effects on the development of sustainable tourism in the city of Maragheh. The economic component with the direct and indirect effects and the component of social-cultural with the direct and indirect effects of 0.702 and0.105 also contributed to the development of sustainable health tourism in the city.  Exteded Abstract Introduction With the development of urbanization and increasing mental pressures, citizens have also experienced increasing physical diseases. Here, this study focuses on the eco-tourism and water-therapy dimension of the health tourism sector. Maragheh City enjoys numerous mineral water springs, and thus have favorable capacities in the health tourism sector. This is because of its geomorphological and geographical situation, the presence of expert physicians, being the treatment hub of the province, having centers of accommodation, and types of hotels. Thus, health tourism and the feasibility of infrastructure can affect the diversity of urban economies and employment, thereby producing much-needed currency as the main component of the secondary industry and contribute to the sustainable development. This city is the focal point of the study enjoys potential health tourism capacities (especially water therapy capacities).Methodology The study was an applied study and fell under the quantitative and qualitative research. Results and discussionField surveys and results from social-cultural correlation coefficients affecting the sustainable tourism therapy (health tourism) in the city of Maragheh indicated that there was a positive and significant correlation between municipality management component and health tourism sustainability. This suggests that the more the health tourism sector flourishes the more municipality management develops, and the thus the more sustainable health tourism in Maragheh City will be. There was a positive and significant relationship between all social-cultural components and the sustainable health tourism in Maragheh, with the significance level being 0.000 at the alpha rate of 0.05; and since the calculated error rate is less than 0.01, there is a significant relationship between all social-cultural components and the sustainable health tourism at 99% confidence level. Thus, the improvement of all the components from a tourism therapy point of view could lead to sustainable health tourism in the city of Maragheh. Results from the correlation coefficient of components affecting the sustainable tourism therapy (health tourism) in the city of Maragheh indicates that there was a positive and significant relationship between the economic component and the Maragheh’s health tourism sustainability.  ConclusionFindings revealed that the component of tourism economics with the factor loading of 0.95 held the highest effects on the sustainable health tourism, and the component of local culture (factor loading of 0.63), terminal equipment (factor loading of 0.62) held the lowest effects. It was also found that health tourism could lead to employment (especially when the city of Maragheh holds the highest unemployment rate in the province and the entire country). Findings showed that the most important problems in the city were weak tourism infrastructure, private sector’s investors’ unwillingness to invest, and the lack of support by city officials to increase tourism attractions in the city. Weather is considered as one of the most important factors shaping tourism, and tourism centers owe their existence and values to many factors, especially suitable weather conditions. In this research, in order to evaluate and zoning the ecotourism calendar in Kurdistan, Kermanshah and Hamadan provinces, Riemann model and Physiological Equivalent Temperature Index (PET) have been used. The comfort conditions of the tourism climate and heat and cold stresses in different days and months of the year were evaluated using the PET index and then zoned in the GIS environment by considering the altitude. The results of the research showed that in most parts of the western region of the country, such as the cities of Sanandaj, Hamedan and Kermanshah, the time of climatic comfort for tourism activities occurs in two separate periods. From the end of May to the middle of October, heat stress is observed and from the beginning of December to the end of March, cold stress is observed in the border areas of Kermanshah. Finally, tourism climate maps of the western region of the country were prepared based on altitude changes and taking into account the relationship between the physiological temperature index and altitude, and by analyzing these maps, suitable times for activities such as mountain climbing in the important heights of the region such as Alvand, Chihel Cheshme, Peru and Shahu were identified. The purpose of this research is to evaluate and analyze the geotourism and geomorphology of Babolsar city using Kubalikova model and Hadzik model. Kubalikova's model is the first method used in this research, and it is mostly based on scientific and educational criteria, and Hadzik's model is also based on scientific values and surplus values index. In this research, three geotourist areas including: Mirud, Kerfun, and Afra Takht were selected. The current research was carried out by filling 60 questionnaires for Kobaliko model (each questionnaire contains 55 questions) and Hadzik model (each questionnaire contains 25 questions) from travelers and experts for all three studied villages and calculating their average scores for different questions. The results indicate that compared to the other two places, Kerfun village is one of the most famous and attractive geomorphosites in the city, and in this respect, it has a score of 64.76, followed by Mirud village with a score of 52.04. It is both. They are at a good level in terms of value. Afra Takht village has the lowest value with a score of 23/24. However, the high score of Kerfun, in addition to its attractiveness, is due to its rarity and distinctiveness compared to other cases. Due to the unknown nature of the attraction, inappropriate communication, accommodation and living facilities for tourists and guidance to know about the most important problems and weaknesses of the region are considered for the development of geotourism. Manuscript profile

Abstract Geotourism has a special place in the sustainable tourism market. It is a type of tourism that preserves or strengthens geographical features including culture, aesthetics, land heritage and welfare of the inhabitants of an area. One of the most important issues in this regard is the lack of knowledge of geotourist attractions, sometimes their forgetfulness and, unfortunately, its destruction in some places. This research has been done with the aim of identifying and introducing the geotouristic features of these mud volcanoes, which can have therapeutic and economic value. The method of this research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive-analytical and field nature. In order to evaluate and rank the grades in the geomorphological locations of mud volcanoes, the Pralong method has been used. To achieve this goal, topographic and geological maps, the results of field visits and questionnaires have been considered as the main data and tools of the research. The results of Pralong method showed that each of the mud volcanoes (Qarniariq and Naftlijeh and Incheh Borun) with high tourist grade of 0.46, 0.44 and 0.43, respectively, have high tourist attraction and in terms of prioritization Qarniariq mud volcano is a priority for tourism. Accordingly, mud volcanoes have a high potential in attracting tourism, lack of proper advertising infrastructure, lack of amenities for tourists is the main reason for the lack of geotourism in the region. In this study, using statistical and analytical approaches using natural and climatic data and AHP technique, environmental and ecotouristic resources under the catchment area of Chardavol in Ilam province were identified as one of the major sub basins of Karkheh Basin. In this study, natural criteria were determined by geographic and climatic conditions for measuring ecotouristic capabilities. The results showed that climatic conditions play an important role in weighting ecotourism capabilities under the Chardavul watershed. Regarding the geographical structure of the Chardavol sub-basin, the northern part has a better situation than the southern part in terms of precipitation and relative humidity in terms of moisture conditions. Temperature conditions in the form of average air temperature and cold temperatures were also found in the northern half more suitable than the southern half. From the north to the south, the role of climatic criteria becomes less sub-basin. Latitude and higher altitudes of the northern part of the basin have led to different and more appropriate climate conditions in the region. The overlap of the layers showed that the northern and western sub-basins have better ecotouristic capabilities. The results and achievements of this research are important in environmental management of catchment areas. These achievements can lead managers to make better decisions based on their ecological capability. Manuscript profile

Geotourism is a combination of the words ‘earth’ and ‘tourism’, and it is a kind of tourism with geological, morphological, and cultural attractions. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the capabilities of some geomorphological landforms in creating geotourist attractions of geosites using the Komanescu and Pavlova competitiveness models. Based on the results of Komanescu and Paulova models, Fandoghlu Forest Park with an average of 14.45 had the highest and Sardabe waterfall with 11.85 had the lowest score among landforms. The geomorphosites of Sabalan Lake, Neor Lake, Hiran Pass, and Alvares Ski Resort were ranked second to fifth respectively. In addition to having a scientific and aesthetic value, the high score of Fanodghlou Forest Park may be due to the presence of beautiful and unique geomorphological landforms, wildlife, and its pristine environment. The results of competitiveness analysis showed that Fandoghlu forest has more potential capabilities for tourists compared with those of the studied areas as well as other geotourism areas. The general result of the research shows the high potential of the values of the studied geosites; however, due to the lack of necessary infrastructure, the category of geotourism in these areas requires macro-planning at the regional and national levels. Finally, to attract tourists and introduce geotourist areas, it is suggested to design an online system for virtual tourism. Manuscript profile

Geotourism is a type of tourism that focuses on both natural and man-made points of interest. In geotourism, geomorphological phenomena are considered more significant than other geological phenomena. This kind of tourism is not only for specialists and experts in geomorphology and geology but also for ordinary tourists and nature enthusiasts. The purpose of this research is to evaluate and analyze the potential geotourism destinations in Ardabil Province, with a specific focus on geomorphological sites. Hadzik and Fiolet's methods were used for the study. In Hadzik's model, the value and importance of each geotourism site were estimated based on scientific value and surplus values. Fiolet's model was analyzed based on management and tourism rates and their respective value ranges. The results of Hadzik's model showed that the geotourism areas of Nair, Nemin, and Heer had values of 36.22, 29.48, and 51.69, respectively. Based on these values, the geotourism area of Hir has high and relatively good potential compared to the other two areas. The results of Fiolet's model also showed that the geotourism areas of Hir had the highest score, followed by Nair and Nemin, in terms of geotourism capabilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that the geotourism area of Heir has more attraction power for the development of geotourism than the other studied areas. Additionally, future studies to identify new geotourism areas should consider conducting online studies and tourism-based surveys. Manuscript profile

Introduction   Today, tourism is known to be one of the big industries in the world that imposes direct and indirect effect on economy and social sections of human life. Some scholars argue that tourism is an independent section and emphasize the industrial being of it. In the world of today, tourism has a comprehensive approach toward ecotourism because people are travelling to natural settings and try to enjoy the natural views, wild animals, plants, etc. In addition to making money for government and the natives, this section has a significant role in preserving plant and animal environment. Research Methodology   To work out data on the map of plant coverage, Land sat 7 satellite data estimating ETM was utilized. Similarly, to work out digital layers of slope, and its direction, intensity of sunlight, co-height elevations, spatial data collection such as co-temperature, co-precipitation, and soil tissue for analysis and locating purposes, DEM latitude model with a high spatial resolution of 80 was used. * Responsible Author:                                                                mehr5490@yahoo.com     Tourism ecologic model is divided to two recreationally focused and extended ecological models. Each model can be split into three talented, semi-talented, and untalented classes. Based on the tourism ecologic model, the present study tries to recognize talented class in the region under the study. According to the given criteria, needed layers for co-coverage analysis in Geographical information system with raster format and in conditional method were produced. After the layers were transformed to format taking, talented regions were identified and calculated through cooperation method. Results   In order to recognize suitable ecotourism places, the most desirable temperature conditions, that is the average co-temperature level of between 13 and 17 centigrade in six warm months and co-precipitation level of between 20 and 50 milliliter were used. The slopes having less sunlight were considered as talented classes because the shadowy regions are more desirable to tourists due to intensity of sunlight in mountainous areas. On the other hands, the presence of resistant geological rocks (volcanic rocks) has been considered as a one of the factors of locating. Meanwhile, since condensed plant coverage acts as an obstacle in moving and watching abilities of tourists, the best possible plant coverage of suitable places was considered as semi-condensed area. Accordingly, since tourists choose leveled lands as their deployment factors, the slope parameter of between 0 and 5 percent was considered. Here, the eastern slope is considered as 67.5 to 11.25 degree compared to northern slope since these slopes enjoy more desirable condition of shadow taking (figure 8). Conclusion   Using Geographical information system and factors involved for locating places in the region, the researchers recognized that all talented regions for conducting tourism projects are located in the country region of Deylaman. It is obvious that the mentioned regions enjoy more desirably climatic conditions in warm seasons of the year than other regions. Based on the final model resulted from the common layers that are used in locating places, it was possible to have easy access to all sites and all are located in a rather close distance from roads. As the final model indicates, it is clear that all sites are located in bottom line of rivers with a slope of 5 percent, which makes accessibility to water resources easier. These sites provide temporary deployment of tourists, and if more welfare facilities are provided, tourists may stay in these sites for longer time. Finally, it can be said that based on ecologic criteria, suitable sites of tourism can be identified and matched with natural condition of the region through satellite system of GIS. In the present era the tourism industry as the biggest industry, is introduced as one of the factors of sustainable development. Tourism has many forms. At the present a new form of tourism called “rural tourism” is introduced in rural areas with the aim of sustainable development of regional communities as a tool for the economic and social development and one of the most important modern jobs in the rural areas. For their climatic conditions and human and natural potentials, villages can be introduced as unique attractions. The process of immigration of villages to the cities and the process of urbanism shows that some of the shortages such as the shortage of social facilities (weakness of infrastructures) and income (economic weakness) are the main reasons for the immigration of rural people. Also, the existence of powerful authorities who are familiar with their responsibilities, and who care for the region can be among the most important infrastructures for the maintenance and development of tourism and following that creation of interest among youth for that region as their living place and encouraging the prosperity of the region.
