Abstract :
In the present era the tourism industry as the biggest industry, is introduced as one of the factors of sustainable development. Tourism has many forms. At the present a new form of tourism called “rural tourism” is introduced in rural areas with the aim of sustainable development of regional communities as a tool for the economic and social development and one of the most important modern jobs in the rural areas. For their climatic conditions and human and natural potentials, villages can be introduced as unique attractions. The process of immigration of villages to the cities and the process of urbanism shows that some of the shortages such as the shortage of social facilities (weakness of infrastructures) and income (economic weakness) are the main reasons for the immigration of rural people. Also, the evaluation of the importance and economic effects of tourism is an important subject. The aim of the present study is to investigate the rural tourism and sustainable rural development in the area of Hachiroud and Namakabroud with the use of centralized group discussions, in depth interviews and the use of analytical model SWOT. Results showed that the existence of attractions and the capacities of a region are the key points for the presence of tourists. Also, the existence of powerful authorities who are familiar with their responsibilities, and who care for the region can be among the most important infrastructures for the maintenance and development of tourism and following that creation of interest among youth for that region as their living place and encouraging the prosperity of the region. In these two areas among the most important reasons for the increase in the number of tourist and the sustainable development of this region beside the natural attractions, is the existence of responsible authorities that with the familiarity and knowledge of the researcher do their best for the improvement of the facilities of the region and increasing their capacities for the welfare of tourists
