This paper processes a combined method, based on VIKOR and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to select the units with most efficiency. We utilize the VIKOR as compromise solution method. This research is a two-stage model designed to fully rank the alternatives, where each alternative has multiple inputs and outputs. The problem involves BELIEF parameters in the solution procedure. First, the alternative evaluation problem is formulated by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and in the second stage; we use the opinion of experts with belief parameter to be applied into a model of group Decision-Making (DM) called the aggregated fuzzy belief decision matrix. . In this method weight of efficiency witch obtained from VIKOR is multiply with weight of CCR model of data envelopment analysis. Finally, to illustrate the proposed method, an illustrative example is provided. Manuscript profile

The rapid development of Internet and electronic businesses have stimulated the banking sector towards encouraging customers to internet banking (IB), However, the evidence indicates a lack of interest in the use of IB services. Therefore, this paper aims to identify affecting factors on customer adoption from IB and measure the influence of each factor on IB adoption. Based on an explorative literature review, numbers of factors were considered as affecting factors on customer adoption of IB. Then, these factors were sent to a sample of IB customers in form of a questionnaire. Having collected the filled questionnaires and based on a statistical test, the more important factors explored among all. Hence, many of these factors have relationship with each others; a graph theory based technique (DEMATEL) with feedback structure is used to explore the direct and indirect effects of factors on the other factors and the whole system. The results indicate that: responsiveness (effective handling of problems), accessibility to IB services (hardware necessities), speed of network, ease of use and no need to physical attendance in bank branch, respectively, are the most critical factors. In the process of milk production, the highest cost relates to animal feed. Based on reports provided by the experts, around seventy percent of dairy livestock costs included feed costs. In order to minimize the total price of livestock feed, according to the limits of feed sources in each region or season, and also the transportation and maintenance costs and ultimately milk price reduction, optimization of the livestock nutrition program is an essential issue. Because of the uncertainty and lack of precision in the optimal food ration done with existing methods based on linear programming, there is a need to use appropriate methods to meet this purpose. Therefore, in this study formulation of completely mixed nutrient diets of dairy cows is done by using a fuzzy linear programming in early lactation. Application of fuzzy optimization method and floating price make it possible to formulate and change the completely mixed diets with adequate safety margins. Therefore, applications of fuzzy methods in feed rations of dairy cattle are recommended to optimize the diets. Obviously, it would be useful to design suitable software, which provides the possibility of using floating prices to set feed rations by the use of fuzzy optimization method. Manuscript profile

Nowadays, one of the most important topics in risk management of banks, financial, and credit institutions is credit risk management. In this research, the researchers used survival analytic methods for credit risk modeling in terms of the conditional distribution function of default time. As a practical task, the authors considered the reward credit portfolio of Tose'e Ta'avon Bank of Guilan Province and estimate the bank’s probability of default based on the survival analysis method. In order to analyze and verify the research hypothesis, firstly, the researcher estimated the survival analysis, survival function, and then the value of the probability of default function by three parametric, semi-parametric (proportional hazards model), and non-parametric methods. Finally, the author compared these three methods by using the ROC method. In order to analyze data, SPSS, SAS, R, and Minitab softwares were used. The results revealed that the parametric model was better and more suitable than the other models. After the parametric model, it was observed that, the semi-parametric model (proportional hazards model) and then the non-parametric model proved to be the best models. The results of this research suggest using rating or credit score in banks, because, in addition to the proper management of allocation of facility to customers, using a credit score as an explanatory variable can result in more efficient and more accurate estimations of default probability. In the petroleum supply chain, oil refined products are often delivered to distribution centers by pipelines since they provide the most reliable and economical mode of transportation over large distances. This paper addresses the optimal scheduling of a complex pipeline network with multiple branching lines. The main challenge is to find the optimal sequence and time of product injections/deliveries at input /output nodes in order to satisfy product demands with minimum costs. We propose a mixed integer linear problem (MILP) approach that is capable of detecting the interface volumes in any pipeline and handling the simultaneous deliveries to distribution depots. Numerical examples are solved to validate the proposed model. Manuscript profile

Traffic flow systems are nonlinear and uncertain, so it is very difficult to find their optimal points. In traditional traffic control systems, the traffic lights of crossings change in a fixed time period that is not optimal. On the other hand, most proposed systems are sufficiently capable of coping with the uncertainties of traffic flow. To solve this problem, there is a need to develop expert systems that can manage the traffic flow of intersections in terms of its actual conditions in a normal and emergency situation. This paper introduces an optimal dynamic and smart eight-phase traffic light control system using fuzzy controllers in which the capability of fuzzy systems with human-like decision-making process is exploited. This algorithm reduces the waiting time of the vehicles in intersection queues and in traffic congestion by the strategy of optimal green light durations and dynamic phasing based on the lanes with heavier traffic and the critical conditions like the entrance of emergency vehicles into the intersection. At the same time, it keeps the simplicity and avoids computational complexity. This method is simulated for an isolated intersection based on the traffic feature and the random data input rate to determine the dynamic timing of the traffic light and optimal phases with the smart fuzzy method using MATLAB Software Package (Matlab, 2013). This approach assessed the proposed method of intersection traffic control in terms of efficiency and traffic density against the constant-timing system and four-phase system proposed by some researchers. The results show that the proposed method can be effective in improving intersection traffic control systems. Manuscript profile

This study identifies the constraints of a tile-manufacturing company including constraints in its production and demand line using LINGO software version 15, and identifying production bottleneck, i.e. furnace, production scheduling was provided and sensitivity analysis was con-ducted on the variables and right hand items. Positive shadow price of furnace shows efficiency of every unit on throughput. Also, in demand constraint, negative shadow price of product 16 shows decreasing effect of increase of every unit on throughput. Allowable increase and decrease of right hand items show allowable increase in furnace section and limitlessness of allowable decrease of product 16. These days, as the residents of urban areas grow, the requirement for consumption rises too. This quantity of consumption needs power generation cores with large volume utilizing that it needs to be big enough which guides technology in the direction of wholesale power transmission systems. Consequently, two kinds of power transmission systems including HVDC and EHVAC can be considered. However, since none of the aforementioned technologies has been used in developing countries, a decision should be made to present and progress any of these technologies. Applying both of these technologies concurrently would not be economic. Therefore, this paper studies deciding on the introduction and development of HVDC and EHVAC in a developing country, Iran. A decision-making development needs the principles of conflicting purposes for alternatives and the selection of the best alternative based on the needs of decision-makers. Multi-objective optimization methods may well provide a solution for this selection. To this end, measures of this selection are described in more specifics and then, MULTIMOORA, one of the recognized MCDM approaches, is used to make the ultimate result. Manuscript profile

Todays, industries are seeking the ways to improve their competitiveness and responsiveness in order to achieve the most share of markets and customer satisfaction. Optimization of strategic and tactical decisions in a logistics network would improve total performance of the supply chain in a long term planning horizon. This paper presents a Mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model to optimize logistics networks under real limitations such as demand, capacity, and budget constraints. Due to NP-hard nature of the proposed model a Differential Evolutionary (DE) algorithm is proposed to solve the large sizes of the presented model in reasonable time. Finally, the computational results obtained through the DE algorithm are compared with the solutions obtained by GAMS optimization software. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) has been proven as an excellent data-oriented efficiency analysis method for comparing decision making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and multiple outputs. In conventional DEA models, it is assumed that the input or output variables are all non-negative and desirable. However, in some situations, a performance measure can take positive quantity for some DMUs and negative value for others. Also, undesirable (bad) inputs and outputs may be presented in the production process. Hence, the standard model cannot directly reflect the efficiency score. The paper proposes a modified model in which both undesirable and negative data are treated to improve the relative efficiency of the DMU under evaluation. The focus of this paper is on treating the negative data on the definition of the two non-negative variable and the decreasing of undesirable outputs. Data envelopment analysis is always considered as a non-parametric method for measuring the efficiency of a set of decision units. The efficiency number obtained from standard models is a criterion for comparing the performance of each decision unit with other units. Despite the many strengths of these models, one of their weaknesses is the lack of distinction between efficient units. Also, these models do not pay attention to the internal structure of the units and have a black box view. To solve these problems, relational data envelopment analysis models are used, which are much more cost-effective in terms of time and cost; But these models are static and do not take time into evaluation. In this paper, a method has been proposed for grading of the decision making units with multi- period two stages network structure using relative data envelopment analysis. Three different perspective are introduced for assessment of efficiency in time periods via relative data envelopment analysis. Proportionate with each perspective, an efficiency number is obtained for any decision making unit. Then three efficiency numbers obtained in the mentioned method is combined with Shannon entropy method and a total efficiency criterion is defined for each unit. Finally, this measure is considered as the main indicator for the units grading. The results of implementation of the mentioned algorithm on the real example and comparison with the similar methods clarify the strength of this algorithm. Manuscript profile

This paper proposes a satisfying optimization method for fuzzy multiple objective optimization problem. Actually, the presented method realizes the trade-off between optimization and fuzzy importance requirement. Generally, the main aim of the presented approach is to make the more important objective achieving the higher desirable satisfying degree. In practice, vagueness and imprecision of the goals, constraints and parameters in this problem make the decision-making complicated for decision makers who have to deal with the parameters to make the optimized decision. Hence, the reformulated optimization models based on goal programming is proposed for different fuzzy relations and fuzzy importance. In fact, decision makers can select the appropriate alternative considering their determinations from variety of solutions using parameter λ. Applying the proposed model, not only the satisfying results of all the objectives can be acquired, but also the fuzzy importance requirement can be simultaneously actualized. In addition, a numerical example is provided to illustrate how the model is applied. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented. Manuscript profile

Reduction of energy intensity through gaining energy efficiency is a global agenda for sustainable development goals. The evidence show that the energy intensities of most energy exporting countries (such as OPEC) have historically been very high compared with energy importing and industrialized economies. Hence, the understanding of the main determinants (or drivers) of energy intensity in energy exporting countries is important for economic researchers and policymakers. Therefore, this paper investigates the role of technology and its components on energy intensity changes in OPEC countries using a DEA-Malmquist over the period of 2000-17. The findings show that technological progress has played a significant role in reducing of energy intensity. Moreover, the results after TFP decomposing using DEA method indicates that the negative effect of technical change on energy intensity is much larger than of the efficiency change effect, Although, the estimated values of these components are is relatively weak. Next, we investigate what is main driving of technological progress in the OPEC countries. The findings imply that trade openness is a main factor to causes to improve the productivity. The balance between environmental regulations and economic issues has always been one of the main challenges of governments, because with the growth of industrialization, environmental pollution has also increased. Along with the desired outputs in the production process, may also produce undesirable outputs which have a great impact on organizations efficiency and environmental pollution. On the other hand, dealing with the impact of undesirable factors on the inputs and desirable outputs, valuable information for making strategies and organizational decisions could be achieved. Considering undesirable factors, this paper aims to calculate the relative efficiency and marginal ratios of environmental systems using weak and managerial disposability models of data envelopment analysis (DEA). This study is conducted in two phases. In the first one, the regions were classified into efficient and inefficient groups using a developed DEA model. In the second step, the marginal rate of undesirable outputs on the inputs and desirable outputs in efficient areas were calculated. The results showed that the change in the amount of undesirable outputs has a significant effect on other variables. Manuscript profile

Tripled fixed point is an extension to coupled fixed point theory. The idea of tripled fixed point has largely become a focus of research interest in the area of mathematical analysis, especially for their vast application. This research presents a common tripled fixed point iteration for approximating tripled fixed points in linear spaces which is in the context of a Hilbert space. Here, a tripled Mann iterative scheme is defined and applied to resolve the problem of common tripled fixed points of certain mappings. Hence, this work is an extension to recent research in the literature. Manuscript profile

The main purpose of this paper is to upgrade and improve inefficient units by common weights obtained from all units studied. In fact, we consider the common weight vector as the direction in which inefficient units rise. The methodology of this research is to consider the semi-essential radial model and we want to use the duality of this model to find the common weights of inputs and outputs, some of which are negative. For this purpose, we present a multi-objective problem of generating common weights and use ideal programming to solve it, which leads to the production of a nonlinear problem, which for this particular problem, by a linearization method, is called We turn a linear programming problem. Since the necessary and sufficient condition for the boundary of the semi-essential radial model in the nature of input (output) is that there is an input (output) with at least one positive value, so we observe this condition here. Finally, we will explain our method with an example and the remarkable thing about the promotion method in the present study is that negative data is promoted and improved as negative data. One of the most complex decision-making issues for stock exchange investors is the evaluation of companies' performance and their ranking in the next step, which can be done based on different approaches. In the paper, the industries of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) evaluated during the years 2010 to 2019 and ranked by a combined fuzzy cognitive map (FCM), Electere III and linear assignment (LA) method. To this aim, first based on the literature review, 21 more cited criteria were selected as the main criteria in performance analysis of the TSE. Then, fuzzy cognitive map as a qualitative analytical tool, was applied to rank financial eavaluation criteria based on their intractions. Applying FCM, five criteria were determined as more important criteria for performance evaluation. In the the next step, all of the industries in TSE were evaluated in 10 years from 2011 to 2020 using the ELECTRE III as a powerfull MCDA method. Finally, LA method was applied for integrating the rank of industry in the 10 years period. The results indicate that insurance and pension industries, Industrial multidisciplinary and Food (except sugar), placed at the first to third ranks. Manuscript profile

In data envelopment analysis, value efficiency is an efficiency concept that uses the decision maker's priorities to calculate it. In this article, data with interval scale is the difference of two different data of inputs and outputs with a ratio scale, and one of the innovations of this research is that it calculates the value efficiency of units that include negative data with an interval scale. In real value efficiency, the indifference curve of the value function is used, which is unknown, and another innovation of this research is that we approximate this curve with the tangent hyper plane at the point with most preferences and with the proposal of the decision maker, we consider one of the technical efficiency units as the point with the most preferences. To find this tangent hyper plane, we use the dual problem of radial models, which have returns to variable scale. Finally, the distance of each decision-making unit to the tangent hyper plane shows the value efficiency of that unit. In the presented numerical example, the obtained results are very close to the results of Halme and his colleagues’ models, and this method can provide a suitable approximation for value efficiency. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) as a non-parametric method has covered a wide range of applications in measuring comparative efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) with multiple incommensurate inputs and outputs. The standard DEA method requires that all input and output variables be known as semi positive. In many real situations, the presence of undesirable and even negative data are inevitable. In DEA literature there have been various approaches to enable DEA to deal with negative data. On the other hand, the structure of interval data has recently attracted considerable attention among DEA researchers. According to importance of interval data, this paper proposes a radial measure which permits the presence of undesirable and negative data with interval structure. The proposed model can evaluate the efficiency of all DMUs and leads to improve the inefficient unit with interval negative and undesirable data. To elucidate the details of the proposed method an illustrative example of a private bank in IRAN explores the applicability of the proposed method. Manuscript profile

The aim of this research is to design scenarios based on cooperative game theory scenarios to examine the rewards and penalties observed from sharing or not sharing knowledge among companies. The statistical population of the study includes managers and experts from 10 subsidiary companies of the National Iranian Oil Company, among whom 10 senior managers were selected for pairwise comparisons using the snowball sampling method. The research method is classified as descriptive, applied, interpretive, exploratory, with a quantitative and qualitative nature. This study emphasizes the importance of efficient knowledge sharing as a means to foster cooperative in the investment portfolios of the National Iranian Oil Company to compete with foreign competitors during sanctions. By reviewing the results of the four scenarios derived from the game, it was observed that the rewards companies receive from sharing knowledge are dependent on the behavior resulting from knowledge sharing by other companies. The more capable an organization is in influential factors related to knowledge transfer and innovation; the more benefits companies will gain if they cooperate. Sensitivity analysis regarding the costs of project cooperative, which arises due to the difficulty of implementing joint projects, showed that as the costs increase, companies tend to shift from a cooperative strategy towards a retaliation strategy and then towards a non-cooperative strategy. The impact of companies' intellectual capital status on the selection of cooperative strategies was observed. Companies that decide to collaborate, if equipped with higher intellectual capital due to experience and empowerment, tend to prefer an optimal strategy towards cooperative. Manuscript profile

In this paper, we explore a nonlinear mathematical model to study the spread of asthma due to inhaled pollutants from industry as well as tobacco smoke from smokers in a variable size population. The model is analyzed using stability theory of differential equations and computer simulation. It is shown that with an increase in the level of air pollutants concentration, the asthmatic (diseased) population increases. It is also shown that along with pollutants present in the environment, smoking (active or passive) also helps in the spread of asthma. Moreover, with the increase in the rate of interaction between susceptibles and smokers, the persistence of the spread of asthma is higher. A numerical study of the model is also performed to see the role of certain key parameters on the spread of asthma and to support the analytical results. Manuscript profile

This article proposes an optimization model for preventing the waste of time in the educational and research activities' cycle of an organization such as a university. For this purpose and in order to increase efficiency and prevent the waste of time; the graph theory models have been used. The educational and research activities diagrams of a supposed university is drawn by the use of graphs theory model, and then these graphs are analyzed, then in order to design a model, the units, activities and the time of doing each activity are symbolized, and the collected data are presented in the form of matrix. In this article two procedures are suggested for optimization; using subgraphs for every activity cycle in order to shorten the activity cycles and minimizing the time of doing each work. The algorithm of time minimizing is based on recognizing and determining the edges with the most weight as the maximum time. Also the influential factors on the waste of time in activity cycle are recognized and then replaced or omitted. Manuscript profile

Imagine you have traveled to an unfamiliar city. Before you start your daily tour around the city, you need to know a good route. In Network Theory (NT), this is the traveling salesman problem (TSP). A dynamic programming algorithm is often used for solving this problem. However, when the road network of the city is very complicated and dense, which is usually the case, it will take too long for the algorithm to find the shortest path. Furthermore, in reality, things are not as simple as those stated in AT. For instance, the cost of travel for the same part of the city at different times may not be the same. In this project, we have integrated TSP algorithm with AI knowledge-based approach and case-based reasoning in solving the problem. With this integration, knowledge about the geographical information and past cases are used to help TSP algorithm in finding a solution. This approach dramatically reduces the computation time required for minimum tour finding. Manuscript profile

This paper reports a survey and case study research outcomes on the application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to the ranking method of European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Business Excellence Model in Iran’s Automotive Industry and improving benchmarking process after assessment. Following the global trend, the Iranian industry leaders have introduced the EFQM practice to their supply chain in order to improve the supply base competitiveness during the last four years. A question which is raises is whether the EFQM model can be combined with a mathematical model such as DEA in order to generate a new ranking method and develop or facilitate the benchmarking process. The developed model of this paper is simple. However, it provides some new and interesting insights. The paper assesses the usefulness and capability of the DEA technique to recognize a new scoring system in order to compare the classical ranking method and the EFQM business model. We used this method to identify meaningful exemplar companies for each criterion of the EFQM model then we designed a road map based on realistic targets in the criterion which have currently beenachieved by exemplar companies. The research indicates that the DEA approach is a reliable tool to analyze the latent knowledge of scores generated by conducting self- assessments. The Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test is used to compare two scores and the Test of Hypothesis reveals the meaningful relation between the EFQM and DEA new ranking methods. Finally, we drew a road map based on the benchmarking concept using the research results. Manuscript profile

In writing the model, we have divided the population under consideration into five sub classes of susceptible, infective, pre-AIDS, AIDS related complex and that of AIDS patients. The model has two non- negative equilibria namely, a disease free and the endemic equilibrium. The model has been studied using stability theory. It is shown that the positive non-trivial equilibrium is always locally stable but it may become globally stable under certain condition showing that the disease becomes endemic due to constant migration of the population into the habitat. The product rate variation problem minimizes the variation in the rate at which different models of a common base product are produced on the assembly lines with the assumption of negligible switch-over cost and unit processing time for each copy of each model. The assumption of significant setup and arbitrary processing times forces the problem to be a two phase problem. The first phase determines the size and the number of batches and the second one sequences the batches of models. In this paper, the bottleneck case i.e. the min-max case of the problem with a generalized objective function is formulated. A Pareto optimal solution is proposed and a relation between optimal sequences for the problem with different objective functions is investigated. Manuscript profile

This ability in fuzzy UML, practically leaves the customers and market’s need without response in this important and vital area. Here, the available sequence diagrams in fuzzy UML will map into fuzzy Petri net. However, the formal models ability will be added to the Semi-formal fuzzy UML. This formalization will add the automatic processing ability to the Semi-formal fuzzy UML. Further more, the other advantages of this mapping is: access to non-functional parameters such as reliability automatically to the considering systems, study the verification of the designed plan and also decrease the expenses because of satiety to make lab sample before its implementation. Using the fuzzy UML mapping into fuzzy Petri net in control, critical and real-time systems will be more applicable. Manuscript profile

In this paper, we give an analytical approximate solution for an integro- differential equation which describes the charged particle motion for certain configurations of oscillating magnetic fields is considered. The homotopy analysis method (HAM) is used for solving this equation. Several examples are given to reconfirm the efficiency of these algorithms. The results of applying this procedure to the integro-differential equation with time-periodic coefficients show the high accuracy, simplicity and efficiency of this method. Manuscript profile

Ranking fuzzy numbers plays a very important role in linguistic decision making and other fuzzy application systems. In spite of many ranking methods, no one can rank fuzzy numbers with human intuition consistently in all cases. Shortcoming are found in some of the convenient methods for ranking triangular fuzzy numbers such as the coefficient of variation (CV index), distance between fuzzy sets, centroid point and original point, and also weighted mean value. In this paper, we introduce a new method for ranking triangular fuzzy number to overcome the shortcomings of the previous techniques. Finally, we compare our method with some convenient methods for ranking fuzzy numbers to illustrate the advantage our method. Manuscript profile
