This paper presents a data envelopment analysis (DEA) model combined with Bootstrapping to assess performance of one of the Data mining Algorithms. We applied a two-step process for performance productivity analysis of insurance branches within a case study. First, using a DEA model, the study analyzes the productivity of eighteen decision-making units (DMUs). Using a Malmquist index, DEA determines the productivity scores but cannot give details of factors depend on regress and progress productivity. The proposed model presents anew latent variable radial input-oriented technology and simultaneously reduces inputs and undesirable outputs in a single multiple objective linear programming. On the other hand, classification and regression tree allow DMU to extract rules for exploring and discovering meaningful and hidden information from the vast databases. The results provide a set of rules that can be used by policy makers to explore reasons behind the progress and regress produc-tivities of DMUs. Manuscript profile

This paper processes a combined method, based on VIKOR and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to select the units with most efficiency. We utilize the VIKOR as compromise solution method. This research is a two-stage model designed to fully rank the alternatives, where each alternative has multiple inputs and outputs. The problem involves BELIEF parameters in the solution procedure. First, the alternative evaluation problem is formulated by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and in the second stage; we use the opinion of experts with belief parameter to be applied into a model of group Decision-Making (DM) called the aggregated fuzzy belief decision matrix. . In this method weight of efficiency witch obtained from VIKOR is multiply with weight of CCR model of data envelopment analysis. Finally, to illustrate the proposed method, an illustrative example is provided. Manuscript profile

Abstract Heart patients displays several symptoms and it is hard to point them. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) provides a comparative efficiency degree for each decision-making units (DMUs) with several inputs and outputs. Evaluating of hospitals is one of the major applications in DEA. In this study, a comparison of additive model with standard input oriented and output oriented Malmquist productivity index (MPI) are used. The MPI is calculated to measure productivity growth relative to a reference technology. Two primary subjects are addressed in computation of MPI growth. What are generally referred to as a “catching-up” effect or technical efficiency change (TEC) and a “frontier shift” effect or technological change (TC). The data covers a six-year span from 2011 to 2016 for 15 local heart hospitals. Two inputs, one intermediate element and two outputs are chosen in two-stage model and these factors reflect the main function of hospitals. Conversion of two-stage to single-stage model is introduced. This model is proposed to fix the efficiency of a two-stage process, and avoid the dependence to various weights. Finally, the results indicated that geometry average of MPI in input oriented pure technical efficiency (PTE) in the tenth Hospital (2.1517) is introduced as the highest performance hospital with highest productivity growth. Abstract Nowadays among many evaluation methods, data envelopment analysis has widely used to evaluate the relative performance of a set of Decision Making Units (DMUs). Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA(is a mathematical tool for evaluating the relative efficiency of a set Decision Making Units (DMUs), with multiple inputs and outputs. Traditional DEA models treat with each DMU as a “black box" thus, the performance measurement may be not effective. So, there are necessities for network DEA models. The objective of this paper is to propose a new network DEA model for measuring the efficiency of two- supplier and one manufacturer chains under the decentralized organization mechanism. In this mechanism, each section of supply chain is controlled under unique decision maker with his/her own interest. We proposed that, in comparison with CCR model, for the supply chain under decentralized organization mechanism, it is not appropriate to ignore the internal structure and treat as a “black box”, while there is more than one decision maker with different interests. Furthermore, the relation between the supply chain efficiency and division efficiency is investigated. Numerical example demonstrates the application of the proposed model. Manuscript profile

One of the most important activities in the management of input items of a company is focusing on the process of purchasing, supplier selection and allocating order to suppliers. Decisions about supplier selection due to simultaneously taking inconsistent and diverse issues into account in a wide range of strategic to operational factors, and from quantitative to qualitative criteria will be complex by nature. In order to select the best suppliers it is necessary to make a trade-off between these tangible and intangible factors some of which may conflict. When business volume discounts exist, this problem becomes more complicated. In this paper a multi-objective model for order allocation under volume discount conditions is presented. In this context, suppliers offer price discounts on total business volume. A solution methodology is presented to solve the multi-objective model, and the model is illustrated using a numerical example. Studying various combinations of constraints such as capacity, timely delivery, disadvantages and cost, taking into account quantity discounts, considering the weight of the suppliers in order allocation and integration of these cases with each other, have made the current research quite unique. The theory of grey system is used when sufficient information of the community under study is not in hand. The grey forecast model is proper when the information variety is fix and certain. Grey model can apply some additional computations to improve forecasting activities when data is insufficient. Through using improved grey model, the assessment error decreases significantly. This study made use of the mean maximum daily temperature data collected by Qazvin meteorological station, from August 2001 to August 2013. The findings revealed that the grey model metabolism method can reduce errors and improve the precision of forecasting the mean variable of maximum daily temperature. Manuscript profile

In today world, organizations’ performance and making the sustainable competitive strength have become incrementally important for them according to the quick global evolutions. The dairy industry is one of the most important industries which has made very competitive environment. The case study of this research is Kaleh Dairy Company as one of the active companies in dairy industries. One of the most important strategic management tool called SWOT analysis was used in this research to determine the position of Kaleh Company. IE, IFE, and EFE matrices have been used to determine the proper strategies and competitive position of the company. SWOT technique was mixed with TRIZ to remove defects and improve SWOT technique and also formulate strategies. Then, the formulated strategies were prioritized by gray ORESTE to rank strategies for lack of information and non-precision data which was resulted by experts using verbal variables. Control Chart Patterns (CCPs) recognition is one the most important concepts in control chart application. Relating the patterns exhibited on the control chart to assignable causes is an ambiguous and vague task especially when multiple patterns co-exist. In this study, a fuzzy rule-based system is developed for X ̅ control charts to prioritize the control chart causes based on the accumulated evidence. To demonstrate the reasonable performance of the proposed fuzzy rule-based system, the case studies are performed and the results are analyzed. Manuscript profile

This paper proposes a satisfying optimization method for fuzzy multiple objective optimization problem. Actually, the presented method realizes the trade-off between optimization and fuzzy importance requirement. Generally, the main aim of the presented approach is to make the more important objective achieving the higher desirable satisfying degree. In practice, vagueness and imprecision of the goals, constraints and parameters in this problem make the decision-making complicated for decision makers who have to deal with the parameters to make the optimized decision. Hence, the reformulated optimization models based on goal programming is proposed for different fuzzy relations and fuzzy importance. In fact, decision makers can select the appropriate alternative considering their determinations from variety of solutions using parameter λ. Applying the proposed model, not only the satisfying results of all the objectives can be acquired, but also the fuzzy importance requirement can be simultaneously actualized. In addition, a numerical example is provided to illustrate how the model is applied. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented. Manuscript profile
