Abstract Heart patients displays several symptoms and it is hard to point them. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) provides a comparative efficiency degree for each decision-making units (DMUs) with several inputs and outputs. Evaluating of hospitals is one of the major applications in DEA. In this study, a comparison of additive model with standard input oriented and output oriented Malmquist productivity index (MPI) are used. The MPI is calculated to measure productivity growth relative to a reference technology. Two primary subjects are addressed in computation of MPI growth. What are generally referred to as a “catching-up” effect or technical efficiency change (TEC) and a “frontier shift” effect or technological change (TC). The data covers a six-year span from 2011 to 2016 for 15 local heart hospitals. Two inputs, one intermediate element and two outputs are chosen in two-stage model and these factors reflect the main function of hospitals. Conversion of two-stage to single-stage model is introduced. This model is proposed to fix the efficiency of a two-stage process, and avoid the dependence to various weights. Finally, the results indicated that geometry average of MPI in input oriented pure technical efficiency (PTE) in the tenth Hospital (2.1517) is introduced as the highest performance hospital with highest productivity growth. The cement industry, as a primary trade, plays an important role in the development of a country's organization. This industry in Iran, however, despite of profuse benefits such as high-value mines, faces many challenges. Problems such as exploitation of the production require the need for doing research into this area. The main purpose of this paper is to examine the Eco-efficiency in Iran's 22 local cement companies over 2012-2016. This paper develops a Charnes, Cooper & Rhodes input oriented (CCRIO) Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach for measuring the efficiency of decision processes which can be separated into two stages. The first stage uses its specific inputs to produce outputs, which part of them are consequently considered as the inputs of the second stage. The first stage is considered as the production stage and the second stage as the pollution control stage. A novel converting two-stage to one stage model is proposed to obtain the Eco-efficiency. Consequently, Malmquist productivity index (MPI) is computed to assess productivity. Although DEA is a respected method for evaluating, it fails to extract unknown information. In this study data mining decision tree and Apriori algorithms are used to extract hidden rules, and to remove unrelated data. Manuscript profile

These days, as the residents of urban areas grow, the requirement for consumption rises too. This quantity of consumption needs power generation cores with large volume utilizing that it needs to be big enough which guides technology in the direction of wholesale power transmission systems. Consequently, two kinds of power transmission systems including HVDC and EHVAC can be considered. However, since none of the aforementioned technologies has been used in developing countries, a decision should be made to present and progress any of these technologies. Applying both of these technologies concurrently would not be economic. Therefore, this paper studies deciding on the introduction and development of HVDC and EHVAC in a developing country, Iran. A decision-making development needs the principles of conflicting purposes for alternatives and the selection of the best alternative based on the needs of decision-makers. Multi-objective optimization methods may well provide a solution for this selection. To this end, measures of this selection are described in more specifics and then, MULTIMOORA, one of the recognized MCDM approaches, is used to make the ultimate result. Manuscript profile
