Legislation constitutes one of the most critical responsibilities of the Islamic Parliament. Given its pivotal role in addressing the country's political, economic, and social issues, evaluating this institution and identifying factors that influence its performance takes on particular significance. This necessitates the development of a suitable model for assessing its performance. Therefore, the primary aim of this research is to provide an efficiency measurement model for evaluating the legislative performance of the Islamic Parliament. To achieve this goal, considering that the Islamic Parliament primarily operates as a service-oriented institution where the consumption of inputs is not of utmost importance, we have utilized the technique of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) without explicit input data. Additionally, in consideration of the existence of undesirable outputs, we have applied the assumption of managerial disposability. Based on these considerations, we have determined and compared the legislative performance of the Islamic Parliament over eight periods (from the third to the tenth period) using models assuming efficiency on both constant and variable scales. In this paper, we proposed perturbed Galerkin method for solving integro-differential equations via shifted Gegenbauer and shifted Jacobi polynomials as approximating polynomials. We use Galerkin method to transform the perturbed integro-differential equation to system of linear algebraic equations and obtained N + 1 linear equations with N +m+2 unknowns. Moreover, with m+1 boundary conditions we obtained N +m+2 algebraic equations which was then solved to obtain the approximate solutions at various values of α and β depending on the orthogonal polynomials, that’s shifted Gegenbauer or shifted Jacobi polynomials. The proposed method was implemented on some selected problems in the literature to validate the effectiveness and the accuracy of the proposed method. Manuscript profile

In this paper, based on the RBF collocation method and finite differences, a numerical method is proposed to solve nonlinear generalized Benjamin–Bona–Mahony–Burgers (GBBMB) equation. First order finite differences and Crank-Nicolson method are applied to discretize the temporal parts. The spatial parts are approximated by MQ-RBF interpolation which results in a linear system of algebraic equations. Approximate solutions are determined by solving such a system. The proposed scheme is verified by solving some test problems and computing error norms and . Results show the efficiency of the suggested method and the error has been improved. Manuscript profile

The present study focuses on the application of fuzzy sets in the optimization of language learning with TOPSIS. The appropriate consideration of the candidates’ characteristics is an important issue which can affect their language learning. Motivation, learner strategies, perseverance and age are the factors that affect language learning. The hypothesis in this paper was that the difference in the consideration of these factors can affect the individuals’ language learning. In this study, for the first time, the analysis of the candidates’ characteristics of two age categories was performed for the investigation of their impact on language learning. The purpose of this work was to analyze the candidates’ characteristics on the individuals’ language learning. The analysis with a decision making algorithm, TOPSIS, revealed the efficiency of this method. One of the advantages of this study was that the effect of different characteristics of the category members on the categories confusion has made the prediction for the optimization of language learning possible. Another advantage was that the modification of the TOPSIS method with the application of fuzzy disjunction has been efficient to provide an automated decision-making tool for this analysis. The results presented in this paper could be used for the development of algorithms and linguistic tools for the optimization of language learning with artificial intelligence. Manuscript profile

Here, we will study the Single-Source Capacitated Multi-Facility Weber Problem with Setup Costs (SSCMFWP-SC) to find location of certain numbers of facilities in continuous space so that demands by certain numbers of customers would be satisfied. This would be done in a way that total transportation cost between customers and facilities as well as total setup cost would be minimized. Facilities have limited capacity and each customer has to satisfy all of its demands just from one facility. Setup cost of facilities is variable and dependent on combination of machineries used by each facility. To solve the problem, Two versions of the proposed heuristic method named iterative random search will be presented in which local search method and exact solution method are used. proposed method has been tested on a dataset available in the literature and the obtained solutions compared to the best of them in the literatures. The results show extraordinary performance of recommended methods. Moreover, best available solutions in the literature have been improved and the best obtained solutions can be used as a comparison source in future studies. Manuscript profile

The aim of this research is to design scenarios based on cooperative game theory scenarios to examine the rewards and penalties observed from sharing or not sharing knowledge among companies. The statistical population of the study includes managers and experts from 10 subsidiary companies of the National Iranian Oil Company, among whom 10 senior managers were selected for pairwise comparisons using the snowball sampling method. The research method is classified as descriptive, applied, interpretive, exploratory, with a quantitative and qualitative nature. This study emphasizes the importance of efficient knowledge sharing as a means to foster cooperative in the investment portfolios of the National Iranian Oil Company to compete with foreign competitors during sanctions. By reviewing the results of the four scenarios derived from the game, it was observed that the rewards companies receive from sharing knowledge are dependent on the behavior resulting from knowledge sharing by other companies. The more capable an organization is in influential factors related to knowledge transfer and innovation; the more benefits companies will gain if they cooperate. Sensitivity analysis regarding the costs of project cooperative, which arises due to the difficulty of implementing joint projects, showed that as the costs increase, companies tend to shift from a cooperative strategy towards a retaliation strategy and then towards a non-cooperative strategy. The impact of companies' intellectual capital status on the selection of cooperative strategies was observed. Companies that decide to collaborate, if equipped with higher intellectual capital due to experience and empowerment, tend to prefer an optimal strategy towards cooperative. Manuscript profile
