The present study is to investigate the adaptation of the e-learning system curriculum with the principles of constructivist approach from the perspectives of faculty members and undergraduate at PNU. The research method was descriptive-survey. The population consisted of 1987 faculty members and 19882 students of the PNU e-poles in academic years of 2016-2017. Based on the Cochran's sample size formula, 320 faculty members and 375 students were randomly selected using the simple random method. The data were collected using a researcher-developed questionnaire, designed to adapt the curriculum of e-learning system with the constructivist approach in four elements (goal, content, teaching-learning strategies, and evaluation). The face and content validates were measured to find the adaptation level of the e-learning system curriculum with the principles of the constructivist approach. In addition, the reliability of the questionnaire was assessed using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α = 0.86). The data were analyzed by a quantitative method using the one sample t-test and the multivariate analysis of variance. Accordting on the one sample t-test results, however, in all four elements related to the curriculum of the e-learning system, the mean of students and faculty members’ responses was less than average and pronounced as insignificant. Thus, the curriculum of the PNU e-learning system was not proposed to be adopted with the constructivist principles. In addition, the results from the multivariate analysis illustrated that there is no significant difference in all four curriculum principles between the viewpoints of the faculty members and the students at PNU. Introduction: The sharing of resources and the dynamics of workloads in e-learning systems cause competition between users and loss of efficiency. Awareness of efficiency as a key solution can protect workloads from each other's negative effects. Currently, the lack of such an infrastructure causes fluctuations in efficiency and unfavorable service quality in these systems. The purpose of the current research is to take steps to compensate for the aforementioned shortcomings and one of the most important achievements is the development of an efficient cloud infrastructure in electronic education systems. Unlike existing approaches, the proposed infrastructure does not depend on a specific execution mechanism and independently of the service level and actors, it monitors the performance of the entire cloud stack in an integrated and dynamic manner. Method: The proposed approach displays e-learning systems based on sets of departments and operational units, components, operational dependencies, and required functional connections. The description of operational units and their duties and functions are as follows: shared knowledge repository, recovery and synchronization unit, audit and monitoring unit, inference and notification unit, control and execution unit. Findings: The results of the implementation and evaluation of different scenarios show the superiority of the proposed infrastructure and the improvement of performance criteria. Discussion: The proposed infrastructure uses performance values and criteria as raw data for dynamic control and performance management. Therefore, this operational framework can be used for different efficiency measures. The proposed approach is able to support performance optimization and management of its requirements for a multi-tenant environment. The approach of the present research, considering the aspects of awareness of efficiency in electronic education systems, can be used as an effort to create a general roadmap and a perspective to achieve awareness of efficiency in basic cloud services Manuscript profile

Nowadays, countries must be able to live and interact in the digital world and be able to interact with people and institutions in cyberspace. The subject of this article is to introduce the components of the e-learning model. This issue has already been studied in different articles and given different aspects. In this paper, the components of e-learning and relationships between them are introduced using a mixed qualitative research method and by receiving the opinions of the elites and summarizing them. Scholars in the field of education believe that principled planning for education in any environment, age, subject and context requires a redefinition of principles in the three bases. These three pillars are needs assessment, training and evaluation. In the present study, each of these factors is examined and the general components of the e-learning model are introduced along with the relationships between them. Also, in this paper, different types of offline and online e-learning are classified and the differences of some previous categories are reported. According to the results of this study, expert-based evaluation method is more appropriate for this problem. Manuscript profile

Introduction: Academic success of students is one of the important goals in educational environments. In recent years, with the rapid proliferation of information technology in the field of education has led to a new model called "electronic learning". Nowadays, the application of this technology in education has made the education process go beyond time, geographical and political limitations. Providing effective training is an example benefit of e-learning. Considering an appropriate teaching method improves the performance of learners in the educational environment. In traditional education, there is a direct interaction between the learner and the teacher, which makes it possible for the teacher to adapt the teaching method to the learner's conditions. In electronic education, the absence of this direct interaction demands methods for the personalization of education. In this paper, using the data mining approach, the knowledge level of the learners is determined. This knowledge can be observed and collected by the system. Intelligent educational systems use a model of the learner that represents the level of literacy and skill of the learner in a specific field, and use it to analyze the learner's inputs to the system during educational interactions.Method: In this paper, LP-MLTSVM semi-supervised learning method is used to improve the learning quality and the satisfaction of learners in e-learning. The LP-MLTSVM algorithm is a semi-supervised algorithm developed based on the support vector machine algorithm. The proposed model creates a multi-class classification. In the proposed model, the data of the electronic education center of Semin have been used. This center has about five thousand members, in which e-learning courses are conducted. In this method, all the training data are used in the construction of the model, with the difference that there is no need to label all the samples. In the proposed model, only 20% of the samples are labeled by an expert. 75% of the labeled data were used for training and 25% of them were used for testing the models. Results: To evaluate the effectiveness of using the proposed system in the held course, the criteria of "academic success" and "academic satisfaction" have been used. In each of the groups, at the end of the course, a comprehensive test of 40 questions was presented to the learners for evaluation. The purpose of this test is to measure the academic success of the students in the mentioned groups. This work was done in order to check the effect of the proposed groups in the system. To explore the effect of these groups, the one-way analysis of variance was used and the amount of difference between the results of the groups was checked. In order to check the learners' satisfaction with the methods used in the first, second and third groups, at the end of each session, a questionnaire containing four questions was presented to the learners. These questions have 5 options, option 1 indicates lack of satisfaction and option 5 indicates complete satisfaction with the course. The results show the success of the proposed method.Discussion: In the proposed method, the characteristics of the learners were investigated and suitable characteristics were created in order to predict the class variable which was the knowledge level of the learners. Then the research data was collected and solved using the proposed method. The results of the proposed method and the existing methods were compared with each other, and according to the evaluation criteria, the obtained results show that the proposed method is better. Finally, in order to evaluate, the presented model was used in a virtual course. The results of the course show the success and academic satisfaction of the students of the course with the proposed model. Manuscript profile

The general purpose of the present study was the phenomenology of ethical bottlenecks in e-learning in iranian virtual higher education. Using phenomenological research method, purposeful sampling and deep semi-structured interviewing tool, mental perceptions of sixteen people (eight master and eight e-courses students) were analyzed. Then data was analyzed using van menon method. The findings of the research led to the identification of the three main axes and the twelve axis. The main pillars include ethical bottlenecks related to professors, students and universities. Master related ethical bottlenecks include violation of privacy, limitation of access to professors, weakness of teacher and student relationships, and lack of ethical modeling of instructors. Student ethical bottlenecks include academic intolerance, promotion of deception, diminished commitment and ethical adherence, and the misuse of technology. The ethical bottlenecks related to the university include the lack of educational aspects, lack of responsiveness to students, lack of skills and deficiencies in the assessment system and the existence of score bubbles. the results showed that; despite the unique opportunities of e-learning, due to the lack of face-to-face communication and the lack of student ethical modeling, the student's actual behaviors do not provide much ground for moral development, But this vacuum can be filled by interacting with the learning environment and using more multimedia technologies. The purpose of this study was to design an e-learning model in General Offices of Environment of Northeast of Iran. The research method was mixed with a qualitative and quantitative approach. In the quantitative section, all 132 employees of General Offices of Environment of Northeast of Iran were selected using a full-scale method. In the qualitative section, 20 people were selected for interviewing considering purposeful sampling. The research tool in the quantitative section was a researcher-made e-learning questionnaire with a reliability of 0.76. The face validity was reported according to the experts' opinion. For data analysis, t-test and exploratory factor analysis and content analysis were used. The results were identified based on exploratory factor analysis and Varimax 9 dimensions of educational and technology factors (19/877), effective factors on electronic teaching(4/739), human resource empowerment (10/074), professional ethics (5/803), data management(6/209), environmental conditions(3/416), motivational factors(6/225), supportfactors(7/667) and organizational environment(4/117). this study, the t-dimension of e-learning has been estimated from 15.58 to 2.52 which is more than the estimated t value (1.96). Therefore, considering the significance and positiveness of this coefficient with 99% confidence, it can be stated that all of the above dimensions have a positive and non-direct effect on it. The highest value of t is related to the educational and technological factors, and the lowest is the environmental conditions. These coefficients are significant with a confidence level of p < 0/001.The fitting indicators of the model showed that all indicators are in the desired range. So the assumed model was confirmed. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all face-to-face instruction at higher education institutions (HEIs) worldwide has been suspended. Therefore, many institutions and universities relied on online learning to continue the instruction process. The perceptions of teachers and students who went through this experience can provide useful information regarding the success of the online instruction. Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of teachers and students during the COVID-19 pandemic in Iran. Additionally, it aimed at exploring the main advantages and disadvantages of online instruction during this time. To this end, 250 English language teachers and students were selected from different English language institutes and universities in Iran. Drawing upon Khan et al.’s (2021) questionnaire and an open-ended question, this study showed that both teachers and students had positive perceptions towards online learning and teaching during COVID-19 lockdown despite the fact that some students had not the necessary facilities and infrastructure for online classes. Furthermore, this study showed that validity, reliability, construction, administration, and effectiveness of online assessment was a major concern for both teachers and students. Besides, both groups expressed the benefits of online instruction more than its drawbacks. The results of this study have implications for higher education teachers, and stakeholders to get a better understanding of the students’ and teachers’ perception toward online instruction. Abstract The aim of the current research was to present a model of the use of new technologies in the fourth generation university. The research was applied in terms of purpose, and the mixed method was exploratory (qualitative-quantitative). The participants of the qualitative section of experts and specialists of higher education, prominent professors and technology experts who had doctoral degrees in higher education and technology, who were determined based on the rule of "theoretical saturation" and non-randomly, were determined in a targeted number of 10 people. And in the quantitative part of the statistical community including professors of nationwide universities, which were approximately 20,000 thousand, it was considered. The sample size was determined using Cochran's formula and one-stage cluster sampling method of 376 people. The method of data collection was library method, and the measurement tool was semi-structured interview in the qualitative part and researcher-made questionnaire in the quantitative part. Determining the validity of the present research questionnaire in two ways: 1. Formal and 2. content was done, the reliability coefficient was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha test. Data analysis was used in the qualitative part of the theme analysis approach and in the quantitative part of the structural equation modeling method using SPSS and PLS software. The results showed that the resulting model includes 5 dimensions, 13 components and 47 indicators. The dimensions of new technology include educational, aesthetic, content, extra-organizational participation, and process. According to the output of the analysis of the average values of shared values and the average values of R Squares, it shows that the value of GOF is equal to 0.37; which shows the strong fit of the model. The suitability of the proposed model for the application of new technologies in the fourth generation university is strong. Manuscript profile
