Abstract :
Abstract The aim of the current research was to present a model of the use of new technologies in the fourth generation university. The research was applied in terms of purpose, and the mixed method was exploratory (qualitative-quantitative). The participants of the qualitative section of experts and specialists of higher education, prominent professors and technology experts who had doctoral degrees in higher education and technology, who were determined based on the rule of "theoretical saturation" and non-randomly, were determined in a targeted number of 10 people. And in the quantitative part of the statistical community including professors of nationwide universities, which were approximately 20,000 thousand, it was considered. The sample size was determined using Cochran's formula and one-stage cluster sampling method of 376 people. The method of data collection was library method, and the measurement tool was semi-structured interview in the qualitative part and researcher-made questionnaire in the quantitative part. Determining the validity of the present research questionnaire in two ways: 1. Formal and 2. content was done, the reliability coefficient was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha test. Data analysis was used in the qualitative part of the theme analysis approach and in the quantitative part of the structural equation modeling method using SPSS and PLS software. The results showed that the resulting model includes 5 dimensions, 13 components and 47 indicators. The dimensions of new technology include educational, aesthetic, content, extra-organizational participation, and process. According to the output of the analysis of the average values of shared values and the average values of R Squares, it shows that the value of GOF is equal to 0.37; which shows the strong fit of the model. The suitability of the proposed model for the application of new technologies in the fourth generation university is strong.
