The Holy Spirit is one of the common concepts between Islamic and Christian scriptures which plays a significant role in the worldview of these two religious traditions. This descriptive-comparative study seeks to elucidate the nature of The Holy Spirit in the Bible, the Holy Quran, and their interpretations. The findings of this study indicate that in both books, The Holy Spirit is one of the divine creatures that is personified in some verses, and non-personified in other verses. Some examples show that He is a superior creature to the angels and others believe that He is an angel. There is also evidence that The Holy Spirit and Gabriel are the same in the Qur'an and the Bible, from which their contribution to the creation and administration of the world can be deduced. Similarly, the Holy Spirit is the manifestation of God's "visible presence" and "divine power" on earth that destroys the disobedient nations, transmitting the divine message to divine authorities, and helping them perform miracles. So the "Holy Spirit" can, at least in nature, be regarded as one of the concepts that the Qur'an has "affirmed" throughout the Bible.   Manuscript profile

There is evidence in the Qur'an that Pharaoh was tormented in the Hereafter that is difficult to deny, such as Moses' prayer for Pharaoh and his entourage not to succeed and the answer to his prayer, the existence of very negative and sometimes implicit attributes for Pharaoh in the Qur'an, the literal meaning of verses. This important socio-political category, the main sources of which are the guidelines of Holy Quran and the hadiths of the Prophet (PBUH), is widely reflected in the contemporary period and in the poems of bilingual poets; In a way, these poets consider the factor of unity in religious and national fields as one of the main factors of victory and success of Muslims in their political and social arenas. One of the topics considered by contemporary Quranic scholars is the theory of "thematic unity of suras" in order to systematically and coherently show Quranic suras in terms of concept and purpose and introduce them as a purposeful independent personality with special intentions by a wise theologian. Tafsir "Al-Mizan" and "Al-Tafsir Al-Mawzu'i Le Sovar Al-Quran Al-Karim" (Subjective Interpretation for the Verses of Holy Quran) have adopted this method and have registered their name among the believers in this theory. Belief in the theory of "thematic unity of suras", the difference in the intellectual origin and the contemporaneity of both interpreters, are among the cases that reveal the need for a comparative study between these two interpretations; The aim of the present article is to examine his reasoning approaches in highlighting this theory in Yasin Surah and to analyze the similarities, strengths, degree of adaptation and success of interpretations in applying the theory. Translation as a purposeful effort and activity to remove linguistic and cultural barriers and a platform for establishing and expanding interpersonal relationships at different levels have long been considered by humans. Antoine Berman, in the theory of its deforming tendencies, examines the methods, mechanisms, and translation strategies of translators in transmitting the strangeness and alienation of the original text into the target language to highlight unfamiliar importance and foreign culture in translation. Therefore, in the study, from Antoine Berman's point of view components such as Rationalization, clarification, Circumlocution in discourse, froufrou orientation, qualitative and quantitative de-lyrical elements, and other elements in Persian translations by Hossain ansariyan and Tahereh Saffarzadeh from Surah Al-Baqarah, we examine and critique one of the results of this research that Tahereh Saffarzadeh has observed these disruptive elements more than Hossain ansariyan and it is close to translating Antoine Berman's standard. Literature, as one of the most important aspects of society, both in the field of poetry and prose, were also inluded. One of the relatively new areas in the field of linguistic studies is the semantic method that is most used in the analysis of texts and its structural understanding. Semantic knowledge through the scientific study of meaning seeks to provide a detailed description of the relationships that exist between semantic units, ie, word-meaning pairs or meaning-meaning relationships. In the meantime, considering the sacredness of the text and its isolation from human error and sacredness, the Holy Quran has a higher validity than the other texts, and thus it is possible to study the structure of the text and how to use the words in this scripture. A good way to understand the meaning is to be as accurate as possible. In this study, using a synchronic approach and in the context of descriptive semantics, we seek to reflect on the concept of "arrogance" in theology by merely reflecting on the Holy Quran in the era of revelation. Investigate revelation and analyze the semantic implications of its association with linguistic and semantic analysis. This high-quality Qur'anic word has been used 47 times in the Holy Qur'an in the form of different names and verbs and times. The findings indicate that there are many causes and factors involved in explaining the concept of arrogance. The existence of Iblis, the class of capitalists and the capitalists, disbelief and so on, all somehow complete the semantic circle of arrogance in its companionship. Arrogance tools and goals in dealing with divine movements are also diverse. Manuscript profile

The efforts and thinking of these thinkers have made Isfahan a school and an influential school in Islamic sciences over other schools. Among these, the interpretive school of Isfahan and the commentators named after it are worthy of analysis and study. Isfahani leading commentators are divided into three periods: early, Safavid and contemporary, and are divided into two types: rationalists and Akhbaris. This research has refined and analyzed the basics in a library method, matching them with each other and clarifying its hidden angles. In expressing the principles of Isfahan Interpretive School; Quranic, narrative, literary, principled, theological, philosophical, intellectual and moral, mystical, individual and group principles were stated. The Qur'anic principles of Isfahani commentators are common and in the principles of narration, some have been highly positivist and the intensity and weakness of the use of narrations in their interpretations has caused differences in their narrative principles. Some rationalist and news commentators have an intuitive nature and have interpreted the verses based on esoteric intuition and mystical view, and on the contrary, some have not had a mystical view and reject these principles. The rhetorical and phonetic phenomena of the fundamental structures in the literary context are considered to be one of the most important linguistic, unique and distinctive artistic mechanisms in the Holy Quran. The translator of the Holy Qur'an, though skilled in the work, sometimes relies on the transmission of rhetorical and phonetic imagery in many cases. This is actually to arrange the meaning and meaning of the sentence, as the link between the image and the concept is incomplete due to the loop. In this study, the authors have attempted to convey this problem to the play by citing examples of these rhetorical and phonetic phenomena embodied in many Qur'anic verses, a problem that does not overshadow the nature of translation. So we present some of the solutions we've come up with, as well as familiarizing ourselves with some of the possible alternatives to it, using the experts' experience in translation. The Holy Quran is always one of the rich and timeless sources that Muslim poets and writers have used. The history of using the Holy Quran in Persian poetry is as long as Iranian Islam. Tanas (intertextuality) is one of the new literary criticism theories that was proposed by Julia Kristeva in the second half of the 20th century. In fact, Tanas is a new term that has old concepts in literature. The present study aims to investigate intertextual types in the poems of Farid Esfahani, one of the lesser-known poets of Saadi's age, using the descriptive-analytical method. The results of the research show that he benefited the most from partial intertextuality that appeared in the form of Quranic words, sentences and phrases. It is also possible to consider indicative intertextuality as one of the most widely used types of intertextuality in his poetry, which is shown in the form of invoking Quranic stories and characters. The poet has rarely used inspirational and conceptual intertextuality. Manuscript profile

The Quranic system of morality is based on faith in Allah; its end is arriving at divine essence; its means are devotion to Allah and earnest endeavor to attain divine satisfaction; its behavior code is emulating moral codes and uprooting vice. When any human being arrives at certitude by relying on the divine teachings of the Holy Quran as the word of Allah Who is the sole source of honor and power, they would not admit anything ungodly and unholy into their hearts which are the sole abode of divine features. Quranic morality is based on divine love, divine ethics, love for Allah as a means to and reflection of divine features. One of the topics that has been considered by Muslim linguists, commentators and Orientalists since the early centuries of Islamic history is the issue of non-Arabic words in Holy Quran. This issue is of very importance in the linguistic researches of Qur'an and has expressed several viewpoints. Three main perspectives: for, against and in between are the result of the research of ancient linguists in this field. But the fact is that the linguistic sciences consider the existence of non-Arabic words in Qur'an to be a proven category. In the present article owning a descriptive-analytical approach, non-Arabic words in Qur'an are studied from modern linguistics' perspective. The most important finding of the present study is that non-Arabic words in Qur'an are undeniable and its denial is in conflict with the findings and ideologies of modern linguistics. Abovementioned words has entered the Arabic language hundred years before the revelation of Qur'an and have been adapted to the phonetic and morphological structure of Arabic language. On the other hand, the single origin of Semitic languages, of which Arabic is one, is another proof of the existence of words from the Semitic language family in Qur'an. Manuscript profile

It is obvious that this style of expression is sometimes used semantically from one meaning to another simultaneously; and sometimes it's possible that these two styles of expression shift according to the context of their application, in a way that their applications were not easily identifiable and determinable; so that the proximity of the meanings (appealing and preferential) is such that sometimes the two mentioned implements are used interchangeably and this application is very popular among the rhetoric scholars. The main point is to explain the aesthetic significance of the meanings of these words and the implements used in two expression styles, and to clarify how they are applied in Qur'an. The method of the article is qualitative and exemplary analysis technique in some Verses of Qur'an and abstract discussions are avoided. The result of the study shows that linguistic structure is not an impartial and unbiased structure in expression and presentation, and when it is used as an insignificant appealing or preferential combination, it would not be limited to them but should incorporate a structure of both meanings and the intended meaning as needed should be provided. Holy Quran has been translated into various languages and the level of ability of its translators in understanding the Quran, precepting it in the target language or both, as well as familiarity with the knowledge of linguistics and translation has varied. Abolfazl Bahrampour is one of these translators who has had a great ability in understanding and translating the text of the Holy Quran in his translation. Of course, he also had weaknesses that the present article, after stating the general features of Al-Waqi'ah Surah, studies the translation of Abolfazl Bahrampour in various rhetorical purposes; First, he deals with the rhetorical features such as simile, metaphor, irony, emphasis, attention, etc. in the verses of Al-Waqi'ah Surah, and then he compares those rhetorical intentions with Bahrampour's translation. Some omissions of translations are due to the precise and complex structure of the Qur'anic language, which has made translators prefer one translation over another, but some slips are also due to weakness in the structure of the word or its morphological, syntactic and rhetorical style; Some (translators) also undertook interpretive translation and elaborated without separating the original word from the interpretive margins. The subject of context is among the key concepts and subjects in the field of Quranic Sciences and the principles of exegesis. This key role of context is also evident in such sciences as Fiqh and ’Usul. Scholars in the field of Quranic sciences and exegesis have widely drawn upon this concept, but few of them have supplied an exact definition for the term, and while investigating the subject, they have offered a twofold category comprising of the two conditions, namely, relation by source and relation by subject. It seems that these two conditions need a careful study. Moreover, one should study the boundaries of stronger clues that decide context. This article attempts to study contemporary definitions of the term in order to arrive at the most exact definition. Manuscript profile

Studying the concepts of Holy Qur'an is of very importance, especially when it is accompanied by logic, reasoning and interpretation of Qur'an to Qur'an. The present article addresses important issues such as the Assigned and Messianism that are tied to the fate of humanity, and there are more than 65 verses that have a completely common view to messianism emphasizing Sunni and Shiite’s interpretations. By studying the meanings of 10 Verses of Qur'an, it is quite obvious that regardless of the interpretation and narration about mentioned verses according to the meanings of the verse itself and putting it next to the general meaning of HolyQur'an, we can argue and conclude that what the commentators and interpretations of Qur'an claim which is more or less narrative or derived from narrations, achieved and applied a kind of independent semantics. The most important results of this research indicate that the messianismas necessity for Jesus’s being alive, and the necessity of the Assigned to overcome the religion of God over all religions and the unification of all religions, can be proved by the conceptual style of the relevant verses. In mystical and traditional exegeses the word paraphrase is of essential importance. Among traditional exegeses, Feyz Kashani’s Exegesis is important for its inclusion of paraphrases offered by the Holy Shia Imams and some of Feyz’s own paraphrases are of special importance. Among mystical exegeses, too, Ibn ‘Arabi’s exegesis includes paraphrases relying on mystical paraphrases. Comparing these two works focusing on concepts and methods can clarify the meaning of this act in both areas. In the mentioned exegeses, sometimes because of methodological similarity in studying the meaning of a Quranic verses or ayahs, the paraphrases are similar. However, in most other cases, there are essential differences between the paraphrases. This article attempts to study Ibn ‘Arabi’s and Feyz’s approach to paraphrasing both in theory and practice; thereby introducing the similarities and differences.   Manuscript profile

Distortion is an issue that questions the originality and credibility of any book or mode of discourse. Attributing distortion to the Holy Quran has the same negative implications. One instance of the latest claims of distortion in the Holy Quran is that of addition, which is not so long standing, as older scholars had mainly discussed such claims as incompleteness and change. However, in the last two centuries, orientalists have spread this specific claim, referring to as much as ten verses. This claim is based on the orientalists’ understanding of the Holy Quran’s texture, style, and content, in addition to their dependence on some sources on Islamic tradition, exegesis, and history. Abstract Coexist in peace and security protection is of the core foundation of any civilized nation. And from a long time theorists have dealt with it as one of the most ideal indicators "utopia". Today also, it is such an attractive matter that excites the lawyers and politicians in the international or regional area to think about its legal and administrative instruments and to present strategies for realizing it. But it is to be known what has been neglected in these efforts, is considering the revealed teachings. In the current global situation, negative approach to religious thought, both in the range of interpersonal relationships and social interaction, has made the human cheap senses overcome his eminent senses, and has caused unbridled status in natural impulses such as individualism, exploiting the others’ interests in the service of one’s benefits and the desire to exceed the restrictions. Since the Qur'an accepts the diversity of languages and considers it as a ground for the acquaintance of peoples and nations, the translation of the Qur'an has long been considered. English is now an international and mediating language, and numerous translations of the Qur'an have been provided in this language. One of the most important issues in translating texts is creating balance or equality at different language levels. Balance at the lexical level as well as the precedence of meaning over the appearance is considered to be one of the most important priorities in translating texts. In the present study, three translations of the Qur'an based on Mona Baker's view on the issue of creating balance have been studied. In the present study, by examining the belongings of the rebellion, we framed the issues that lead man under the heading of internal and external motives in the path of rebellion. Then we went to the alternatives that directly or indirectly prevent the rebellion. The results of the research show that religion and knowledge have a negative effect on the interests of the Tyrants, the correct religion is circulating on the orbit of monotheism and does not accept the strain against non-god, and finally, Islam is a monotheistic and rational religion that started its activity by ordering to read. These are the issues that we are considered in studying the verses of the Qur'an with a descriptive-analytical and inferential approach. Manuscript profile

According to the importance of morphological structure in Arabic to understand the meaning of words and phrases, we examine a comparative study of common words to examine the effect of this structure on semantic differences in the Qur'an because differences in meanings in the Holy Qur'an can be the result of this morphological difference. And understanding the general meaning of the phrase or the general meaning of the sentence and phrase at the level of action requires familiarity with morphological structures and its importance is revealed in the shadow of understanding the text of the Qur'an and discovering its rhetorical secrets. Within the subject of the article, we want to understand why the Holy Quran has used a specific morphological structure and in one verse, it has used another morphological structure in another verse, and what is the difference in their relational meaning. This article tries to investigate the difference between the intended meanings according to the morphological structures based on the descriptive-analytical method. Among the results of this discussion are that each morphological structure has a meaning in its heart that other structures don't have it and this indicates the accuracy and clarity in expressing the Qur'anic meanings, and what requires the use of a particular structure is the same communication meaning and effect of rhetoric and aesthetics of phrase. One Thousand and One Nights is full of fiction and magic. The fictitious episodes of the book depict the events that despite their being normal and usual in the world in which they happen, they are not simply believable. They are weird for us because we consider them as supernatural. Magic and witchcraft are really significant in One Thousand and One Nights, for rather than everybody, only two groups of people exercise them, i.e. the good and the bad, and the wizards and the charmers are mainly women. The world of One Thousand and One Nights is the one in which the common people live with the ogres and the fairies, and because they cannot react against them equally, they exercise magic and witchcraft to fight back the evils, the disasters and even the other common people. Now what makes us to believe in magic and witchcraft is nothing but our Holy Quran asserting them. Some verses in Holy Quran admit the possibility of magic and witchcraft while disallow people exercising them. However, exercising magic and witchcraft is common and familiar in One Thousand and One Nights. The present research is to compare and contrast the magic and witchcraft in One thousand and One Nights and the Holy Quran, where the focus is verse 102 of Al-Baqara Chapter. Manuscript profile

IqbalLahoori is one of those Muslim and undertaking thinkers and poets who has not restricted himself to one language and territory, but his thoughts and ideas have moved over all ethnical and religious boundaries. Adhered tightly to his poetic message and inspired by clean revelation sources and having unbreakable bond with pure religious thoughts, he has left an everlasting literary work whose everlasting secret is not in their glamour of words and musical rhythmbut for being derived from his deepfaith in the meaning depth of words and their roles. Iqbal has founded a targeted poetical-philosophical school which considers poetry as an heir of prophecy whose mission is to reform human society.Presenting human grieves and lofty faithconcepts, Iqbal considers amendment of human being and guiding him to his true position in Allah's view as the main mission of poetry. Iqbal inspired by religious concepts and by decorating his poetry with sublime themes and notable Koranic figures, has acquired the celebrated position of the poet of Islam and Quran. In this research, using the descriptive-analytic method, while pointing to Iqbal's some intellectual-philosophical aspects of character and referring to eternality secret of histhoughts, it has been tried to study position of holy Quran in his Persian poems. Results show that Iqbal has dedicated himself to holy Quran willingly by his heart and intellect in order to be inspired by it in his works especially Persian poems. This research also demonstrates that Iqbal has not referred to Quran just for literary purposes such as using Koranic words and phrases in his poetry, but he tended to it as aninviting believer to derive his thoughts and values, far from Sufi interpretations, directly from it. On the whole, two general views are widely stated in Persian literature about recitation of holy Quran: in the first view, good recitation has been appreciated in prose and rhymed works, and many stories and anecdotes have quoted in its support. In the other view, some of the authors and poets such as Sanai, Saadi, and Jami, in addition to support and emphasis on the former view by some authors such as blamed the blameworthy recitators and idle qaris mostly with a critical and amendatory intention and sometimes with the tools of satire and jesting reminded some valuable points to train and advice. Mysticism literally means knowing and knowing after ignorance, recognition, awareness and wisdom, and as a term it means knowing God and His loving worship and finding the path of it. Among the interpretations of The Holy Quran, we come across some works in which the commentator has a mystical perspective and approach to interpret the verses of The Holy Quran. One of these commentators is Seyyedeh Nusrat Beigom Amin, who paid attention to mystical aspects of interpreting The Holy Quran. In the present article, an attempt has been made to study the mystical views of Banu Amin and Ibn Al-Arabi about the three mystical positions of Tavakol(trust), Sabr(Patience), Tobah(Repentance) by descriptive-analytical method and using library resources, especially works in the field of mysticism and interpretation of The Holy Quran. Paying attention to patience and repentance in the Holy Quran leads to the mystical aspect and makes their characteristics more apparent. After examining her views, it was concluded that Banu Amin is very concerned with practical reliance, patience on hardships and repentance in the direction of faith, so she suggests a mystical interpretation of the verses related to these concepts. Ibn Al-Arabi, as the founder of theoretical mysticism, emphasizes more on the negative and positive issues of these three mystical terms. Manuscript profile

The consequences of tranquility, spiritual balance, and lack of concern and anxiety are correct interaction with problems and preoccupations and achieving accurate tranquility. Peaceful mind in various types, natural, psychological, and mindset, is among the elements of felicity that emerges in two forms of spiritual tranquility and social security. Accordingly, the Islamic scholars view it from sainthood perspective and deem it as a divine phenomenon so that a vast portion of religious teachings are dedicated to that. On the one hand, mysticism is as path with which one can arrive at intuitive and in-person knowledge of reality and pure knowledge directly and obtain the certain response to the essential needs and questions of human being and acquire perpetual tranquility and happiness from. On the one hand, it should be noted that Holy Quran has presented the best instructions hereto and has acquainted human beings with the mystery of manhood and spiritual journey better than any other sources. The holy Quran is the door to the "knowledge about imams" so that the entire verses and evidences of Quran refer directly and indirectly to the cognitive and spiritual journey of human toward the Almighty and how to joint Him. Accordingly, this paper deals with the status and causes of tranquility in the Holy Quran and Islamic mysticism. This paper that is prepared with analytic descriptive methodology and aimed at explanation and discussion over the scientific status and causes of tranquility in the holy Quran and Islamic mysticism concludes that faith, avoidance, and piety are principal causes of tranquility and the background for personal and social tranquility as well as the tranquility of soul and psyche of person and society. Human dignity is one of the most important issues in the field of philosophy, law, ethics and mysticism; Because this issue is the basis and source of many human rights, privileges and duties. Human dignity is considered as a right or a set of inalienable rights and the basis of human rights that the Islamic society is obliged to observe. If this principle is ignored and there is no practical commitment to its effects, values such as freedom, privacy, justice and equality will lose their meaning. According to the verses of the Qur'an and the hadiths, the basic principle of human dignity is that no one has the right to enter the privacy of another human being without permission, except in special cases where a valid rational or narrative reason indicates its permission. If in the translation of other texts, such as literary and scientific texts, a mistake occurs, it is ultimately a mistake, but in the translation of religious texts, especially the Holy Qur'an, the subject is different. Revelation, direct connection with the beliefs of the religionists and the fact that the Quran has been different from other texts. In this research work, the researcher selected the translation of verses from the Holy Qur'an from five prominent Iranian translators: Ayati, Haddad Adil, Khoramshahi, Puladabad and Makarem Shirazi. He then translated his translation into the end of the translations for not only criticizing others. Meanwhile, a reminder of a translation for each of Mubarak's verses is to open the hands of the audience to the translation of a more fluent and eloquent version by offering different translations.                   Considering the verses of the Holy Quran, we come across the fact that man has two important and main dimensions, spiritual and physical. Either of these two dimensions can be healthy or ill. Just as there is a cure for human physical illness, there is also a cure for human mental illness. The Holy Quran has introduced its verses as a healing prescription of the human soul. In Qur'anic literature, mental or spiritual health is tied to the keyword "heart" and the healthy heart and the ill heart have been discussed. The fact that the Holy Qur'an calls a heart ill, it means that the heart definitely impairs the confidence and the endurance of the soul. The data of this article have been collected by library method and have been written in a descriptive-analytical manner. This article tries to examine Psycho-ideological illnesses from the point of view of the Qur'an with the aim of treating them. Tafsir al-Mizan, quoting Quranic verses, emphasizes that those who chose heresy in belief, and hypocrisy in practice do not have mental health, and the manifestation of heresy and hypocrisy is due to the weakness of faith in God, which results in a temperament appropriate to heretical morality. Allameh Tabatabai believes that man is a free and independent being and can consciously change direction and reform his ideas and thoughts. This will be possible when man resorts to God from the danger of sins and deviation and asks Him for infallibility and immunity. Tabatabai has not accepted the therapeutic effect of the Qur'an on physical pain but has accepted its therapeutic effect on mental and psychological pain; consequently, the Holy Qur'an is the cure for human Psycho-ideological illnesses and can heal illnesses such as heredity, hypocrisy, polytheism and the like. Therefore, Muslims should appreciate this divine blessing and use the gifts of the Holy Quran to achieve true happiness and salvation. Manuscript profile

The Holy Quran, as the last book of revelation of the Semitic religions, has spoken about the texts of its family and all its roots with high frequency. These words are sometimes expressed in the position of confirmation and sometimes in the position of their criticism. In confirming the Torah, the Holy Qur'an states many attributes (attributes), some of which are common between the Torah and the Qur'an, such as: mercy, difference and remembrance, etc. These common attributes indicate the origin of revelation. It has the Torah; A divine book that has been approved by the Qur'an and is also considered to be the herald of the Qur'an. The attribution of the Torah to the Holy Prophet, Prophet Moses (pbuh) in the form of tablets and in the forty-day spiritual journey of Mount Toor, is one of the most important of these Quranic data. Although not all the details of the Torah are mentioned in the Quran, some commentators have referred to its messages, such as not associating partners with God, respecting one's parents, and so on. The distinguished and belletristic text of the holy Quran contains every aspect of eloquence and oratory in the Arabic language. Moreover, imagery, as the most active component in literary texts, has a very wide and targeted use in the Holy Quran. Depictions created in the Holy Quran are mostly at the service of great religious targets. The special methods of the Holy Quran in creating depictions, surpassing simple fictions, and creating original images have made the Holy Quran be artistically years ahead of its time. Recognizing and understanding the meanings in the images of the Holy Quran is a way to enter the subjective world of this work and discover the beauty and truth in it. The Holy sura (Chapter) of "Yousof" is one of the clearest manifestations of 'lyrical genre' literature that has been shaped as a narrative; therefore, it is a suitable milieu for the appearance of varied imagery. Depictions in this sura are mostly based on association, initiation of ideas, and suggestions beyond rhetorical relations of illustrative elements which has caused the semantic enrichment and the beauty of this text.                   One way to express meaning is to use artistic illustration. Rhetorical-artistic illustration has tools such as: allegory, metaphor, simile, irony, etc .; These tools are used to sensualize spiritual and abstract matters. In this research, a comparative study of the Gospel of John with the Holy Quran from the perspective of artistic illustration has been considered. Due to the simple prose and narrative-story format of the book, the author of the Gospel of John has used less artistic images than the Holy Quran; in other words, the multiplicity of spiritual meanings and themes in the Holy Qur'an, which include monotheistic, religious, moral, theological, and otherworldly truths, are all abstract and abstract matters embodied by the means of artistic illustration. But these truths and spiritual matters are seldom seen in the Gospel of John; So that the statistics of the use of image-making tools in the Gospel of John is 36 and is not comparable to the Holy Quran.
