Selecting suitable suppliers and assigning orders to them, is one of the most important strategic supply chain management activities. In this research, a mathematical model for choosing the supplier in the supply chain in the framework of the operational research methods in dairy production units in the city of maku was proposed. The model was designed as Linear programming with assumptions such as supplying a variety of milk products with the same requirements, such as quality, timely delivery, obligations and envirmental require mental for all suppliers. This model includes parameters such as milk purchase cost, transportation cost, milk purchase, milk suppliers, production capacity, and minimum required milk. The objectives of this research include minimizing the cost of supplying milk, supplying the minimum required milk and selecting suitable suppliers of milk. the research method, mathematical descriptive, is applied in terms of purpose, Information gathering tools, such as documentation tools, interviews with experts and production managers were used in relation to production, to determine the sample size were selected by cluster sampling method and random sampling method. Due to complexity of the problem solving, the meta-heuristic bee algorithm approach using MATLAB software was solved. The results obtained from the findings showed that with the bee algorithm, the suitable supplier of milk was selected in the supply chain, so that the cost of milk supply minimized and the minimum material required was estimated by the suppliers. It is Conclude that the suggested bee algorithm is an acceptable performance in a suitable time period. Manuscript profile

Vendor performance plays a key role in price, quality, timely delivery and service in achieving the goals of the supply chain. Given this, today's supplier performance has become a critical element in the success or failure of a company. In this study, an idealized planning model with multi-criteria decision-making approach with network analysis tool based on the expansion of fuzzy quality function has been developed. Also, a new way of ranking, selecting, and assigning orders to suppliers is provided. To this end, the concept of expanding fuzzy quality function and network analysis are used to evaluate and rank suppliers and the math planning model for assigning orders to suppliers. The method presented in this paper is a feasible, practical, and useful method for identifying and ranking suppliers as well as assigning orders to them. The advantage of this model compared to similar methods in using QFD and ANP tools is to measure the priorities and needs of the company to rank suppliers, which can listen to the voice of the customer and take their demands, as well as integrate the two tools with planning Ideal for ordering a new approach. Based on the results of this research, technology and timely delivery are the most important features in order to evaluate contractor selection. Selection of contractors in such a way that at the same time returns from the supplier, delays and costs of supply are the least possible, are the most important results of this research. Therefore, several studies have been conducted on supplier selection and evaluation by data envelopment analysis. But studies so far have focused on selecting suppliers and evaluating them. And there is no way to determine the number of suppliers in a supply chain. Therefore, in this article, we first express the concept of profit efficiency for supply chains and using the proposed model in this paper, the number and type of suppliers in a supply chain are determined simultaneously. Finally, 10 "supply chains" in the food industry were examined and the profit efficiency of each of them was calculated using the proposed model in this article, and then the number and type of suppliers in each chain were determined. Background and Objective: With the increasing number of environmental problems, it is very important to pay attention to environmental standards in the supply chain and has led to the creation of a green supply chain that causes the least damage to the environment. Evaluating, ranking and selecting a green supplier in the supply chain is important in order to reduce costs and achieve more profit and thus increase the efficiency and performance of the supply chain. The purpose of this article is to evaluate and select the best green suppliers of wind farm equipment using SELKA proposed approach and to prioritize suppliers according to economic and environmental criteria in the supply chain using this method. Material and Methodology: In this paper, a hybrid approach called SELKA method is presented, which is a combination of data envelopment analysis methods and hierarchical analysis process, and the crossover matrix of efficiency is used instead of the matrix of weights. Findings: The most important advantage of the proposed approach is to simultaneously consider the efficiency of suppliers and evaluate them according to the existing criteria, which is not considered in any of the decision-making methods, and thus leads to a more accurate and efficient evaluation of suppliers. Discussion and Conclusion: In order to validate SELKA's proposed method, the issue of evaluation and selection of green suppliers in wind power plants is discussed and the results are compared with similar methods. The results show the superiority of the proposed method of the article in the ranking of suppliers and selects more efficient suppliers. Manuscript profile

The rapid advancement of technology in the present competitive environment has encouraged many organizations to expand their NPD activities across organizational boundaries. In recent years, the joint creation method has been used as one of the most successful and effective approaches to the development of competitive advantages, especially in large organizations. Suppliers and some of the leading international organizations are expanding their activities towards each other and in accordance with the literature of creation and value extraction for both sides jointly and simultaneously. Joint creation means the active participation of the supplier in some activities of the organization, one of the most fundamental principles of this emerging view.Contrary to previous research in this paper, in addition to a integrated look at the factors affecting the performance of the process of joint creation with suppliers, the relative value of each factor, taking into account their impact on each other, has been examined.for this purpose, firstly, main factors effecting of joint invention performance are identified. Then these factors classified and organized in a decision model. Because of hierarchical and mutual affects between the factors, analytical network process (ANP) model is proposed. Using the model, ranking of the factors achieved. The Delphi technique is used to identify the most important performance metrics and the ANP has been used to assess the priority of the criteria. The results show that R & D, production, supplier-related propulsion forces and end-of-life management have the most importance and poor status, and Provided some ways to improve them. Today, given the globalization of the business world, companies expanded their activities beyond the geographical boundaries of countries and continents, and entered into global markets. For this reason, on the one hand, the competitive advantage of organizations has increased, on the other hand, the supply chain is expanding and communication with its various sectors has increased. By increasing these connections and expanding supply chains, companies have become more vulnerable to risks and disruptions. Over the years, there have been many methods for evaluating and selecting suppliers, but the point that is often neglected is the segmentation of suppliers in this process. The purpose of this research is to provide an approach to supplier segmentation. Indicators of this research have been studied in two dimensions of capability and willingness. In this research, suppliers of one of the major dairy companies of Mazandaran province are evaluated using the best-worst method and these suppliers are segmented according to the selected criteria. According to the results, most of suppliers are placed in the first and fourth regions, which the results and analysis can be helpful to improve the organizations studied. Manuscript profile

Selection of suppliers for outsourcing is now one of the most important decisions of the purchasing ‎department. These decisions constitute an important part of the production and logistics ‎management in many firms. On the other hand, suppliers can be evaluated and selected from ‎optimistic and pessimistic perspectives. There is an argument that both points of view must be ‎considered simultaneously, and any approach that considers only one perspective is biased. This ‎paper proposes a new “data envelopment analysis (DEA) with double frontiers” approach for ‎evaluation and selection of suppliers. The DEA with double frontiers approach can identify the best ‎supplier in the presence of weight restrictions, non-discretionary factors, and cardinal and ordinal ‎data. This paper proposes to integrate both efficiencies in the form of a geometric mean efficiency ‎that measures the overall performance of each supplier. It is shown that geometric mean efficiency ‎has more discriminative power than any of the optimistic and pessimistic efficiencies. Due to increasing environmental regulations and restrictions, and increasing social awareness, in order to meet sustainable development goals, government oversight of environmental and social issues in organizations has become stricter. Therefore the aim of this study is criteria identification and sustainable iron ore supplier ranking of Isfahan Steel Company using a new multi-criteria decision-making method, named MARCOS. This research is applicative which performed by qualitative- quantitative method. The statistical population of this study was the raw material purchasing experts, which ten experts were selected by purposive sampling. In the qualitative part, the criteria were identified by thematic analysis. Then, AHP method has been used to calculate the weight of criteria and finally, using MARCOS method, ranking and evaluation of seven major suppliers of iron ore with emphasis on sustainability principles has been done by MATLAB 2019a software. Based on the results, fifteen criteria have been identified in three sectors: economic, social and environmental, which after calculating the weight of the criteria, quality, delivery, and social responsibility, and reliability, adherence to laws, pollution control and distance were more important. It should be noted that the criteria identified in this study were in good agreement with available literatures. Also, the results obtained from MARCOS method were consistent with the results of TOPSIS, COPRAS, VIKOR and SAW methods. Manuscript profile

In recent decades, the way of raw material supply and supplier selection in the health supply chain has been an important challenge. The supply chain of the pharmaceutical industry is critical and there is no specific mechanism for selecting pharmaceutical suppliers in the country. Due to increasing environmental and social awareness, choosing a sustainable supplier is one of the priorities of pharmaceutical companies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate and select sustainable suppliers in the supply chain of the pharmaceutical company. This research is a descriptive study and is applied in terms of purpose. Research data were collected through a review of literature, interviews with experts and a questionnaire. Supplier evaluation indicators were weighted and prioritized with fuzzy QFD approach. The indicators of strength and financial and technical stability, principles of supply chain agility and managerial capabilities with weights of 0.155, 0.133 and 0.115, respectively, are the most important indicators of sustainable suppliers. Then, the indicators of return policy, history, and applying the principles of green supply chain with weights of 0.059, 0.057 and 0.033 are the least important indicators for assessing the sustainability of suppliers in pharmaceutical companies in accordance with the findings of this study. Also, with VIKOR approach, four suppliers of Barakat Pharmaceutical Company were evaluated and prioritized in accordance with sustainable criteria. Two suppliers with appropriate stability points and two unsustainable suppliers were identified. Manuscript profile

Given the complex conditions of businesses today and the occurrence of events such as the COVID-19 epidemic, organizations are thinking about higher operational speed and agility in the context of digital transformations. With the changes brought about by the fourth industrial revolution and digital transformations, organizations and supply chains should move towards using the components of the fourth industrial revolution. In this regard, the main objective of this study is to assess and select pharmaceutical suppliers in hospitals in line with the paradigms of viable supply chains. Considering the paradigms of viable supply chains (Lean-Agility, Resilience, Sustainability, and Digitalization), 21 criteria have been selected for evaluating suppliers. The criteria and sub-criteria have been weighted using the hybrid FDEMATEL-FBWM method, wherein the paradigms of Lean-Agility, Resilience, Digitalization, and Sustainability are of respective importance. Among the sub-criteria for evaluating suppliers, speed, distance, supply capacity, information sharing, financial capability, and crisis management have been chosen as the most important. According to the weights obtained from the mentioned hybrid method, suppliers have been prioritized using the VIKOR method. The findings of this study have been compared with the combined FAHP-TOPSIS method for validation due to the novelty of the solution method. Manuscript profile

Traditionally, suppliers evaluation and selection models based on basic data put less emphasis on ordinal data; however, with the extensive use of production philosophies, such as Just In Time (JIT) production, further emphasis is put on considering cardinal and ordinal data simultaneously through the supplier selection process. Application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) for the issues concerning the evaluation and selection of the supplier is based on the complete flexibility of weights. Yet, the problem is permissibility of complete flexibility of their weights, as the weight values obtained through the solving unrestricted DEA program are often contrary to the earlier viewpoints or the additional information. The present paper aims to propose interval DEA models with assurance region for evaluation and selection of the best supplier in the presence of weight restrictions and imprecise data. It proposes a new approach based on “DEA with efficient and inefficient frontiers” for evaluation and selection of the best supplier in the presence of weight restrictions and imprecise data. In this approach, optimistic and pessimistic efficiencies are considered simultaneously for each supplier. When the assurance region constraints are added to the interval DEA optimistic models, scores of calculated efficiency interval become worse and a supplier previously determined as the optimistic efficient supplier may be recognized as optimistic non-efficient. When the assurance region constraints are added to the interval DEA pessimistic models, scores of calculated efficiency interval are improved and a supplier previously recognized as a pessimistic inefficient supplier may be recognized as pessimistic non-inefficient. Comparing traditional DEA, DEA approach with efficient and inefficient frontiers may recognize the best supplier correctly and conveniently. A numerical example shows the application of the proposed approach.   Manuscript profile

Supplier selection issue is one of the basic problems in all of the industries, especially in the oil industry. In such issues, multiple criteria and sometimes contradictory criteria must be considered. So, these problems are considered as multi-criteria problems. Suppliers can have a huge impact on the performance of companies in different categories like price, quality, and delivery. Experts believe that there is not the best way for evaluating and selection and there are different methods in this field. In this study, first, with investigating other studies and interviews with experts and the basic criteria for supplier selection were identified and prioritized with Analytic Hierarchy Process. In the next step, according to the criteria and alternatives (suppliers), a hierarchical analysis model prepared and alternatives were also prioritized. In order to determine economic order quantity for one of the main needed parts, a hybrid goal programming and analytic hierarchy process have presented and by using real data, model run and the optimum order for the part was determined for each supplier. Supply chain management is a new issue in the field of industrial management. In the current changing business environment, communication between different parts of the supply chain is important. One of the most important parts of a supply chain is material purchasing from different suppliers as a major part of the marginal cost of a product is raw material cost. Selecting suppliers correctly will reduce procurement costs and increase the competitiveness of companies. Moreover, one of the most important decisions that must be considered is the determination of order quantity. As an automobile is comprised of thousands of parts, choosing the right suppliers and determination of orders quantity are very important in the Automotive Industry. In this paper, we first identify the criteria for the selection of suppliers of ISACO Company. Then, suppliers of consumable items are ranked using group decision-making techniques. Finally, we determine optimum purchase plan using a mixed integer programming model. The results of this paper which show the best supplier of consumable items and the optimum purchase quantity can help ISACO to manage suppliers properly. For example, we demonstrate that one supplier has priority for buying the most consumable items or another supplier isn’t suitable for any purchase.   Manuscript profile

An important factor of survival in today’s competitive environment is to reduce production costs of products. Choosing the right suppliers can significantly reduce procurement costs and increase the competitiveness of the organization. Increasing concerns about environmental warnings have attracted the attention of customers, governments, and organizations and resulted to take care about environmental requirements for products production.  As the majority of products components and its material supply from external suppliers, consideration of supply process indicators is important. Greening supply chain process is an opportunity for those people are taking care of sustainable demand and environmental business performances. We employed TOPSIS to weight and rank and DEMATEL to evaluate relationships of indicators. After computing the weight of indicators, quality received the highest score, as well as environmental performance, achieved the lowest score in our evaluation. After ranking indicators, it has resulted that environmental management and reverse logistic received the highest and lowest in our assessment. The cause and effect relationship of supplier selection indicators in Fulad Gilan Company shows that the reverse logistic, environmental performance as well as cost are the most unaffected rather than other indicators and also the impact of environmental performance, cost and supplier collaboration are higher than other indicators. Over the two recent decades utilizing out of the concept of management of supply chain on the industry and the subject of the option of the supplier has attracted too much attention towards itself. The supply chain is a vital factor for the competitiveness of organizations. This probe aimed at to elucidation of a structured method for the evaluation and option of the supplier. Based on this issue and over the one step by step process the appropriate supplier is being chosen among the Qom Refah chain store’s suppliers of dairy and beverage, by usage and employment out of related data. The universal statistics of this survey are the managers and staff of Refah store of Qom. Thus after recognition of key indicators by the method of group AHP, the weight of indicators is being specified. As well for the comparison and ranking of suppliers the method of QUALIFLEX is being used, which it is used in the decision explanation, because of the flexibility of multiple criteria of decision-making and sequential information. Based upon search consequences the final ranking of suppliers on the beverage products is being formed as C > A > D > B and the final ranking of suppliers on the dairy products as well ranked as F > E > G. Literature indicated that to select a supplier in a supply chain, it is better quantitative and qualitative criteria considered simultaneously in supplier assessing. To get this goal we should use the technique that regards an appropriate set of quantitative and qualitative criteria. The goal of this article is developing and applying as assessing model to select a supplier with regarding quantitative and qualitative criteria. So we used analytical hierarchal process and grey relational analysis. The research method was development and field study. Supplier data and weights of criteria were gained using document and manager's comments. To assess suppliers, first quantitative and qualitative criteria were determined and analytical hierarchy process was used to weight these criteria. Then to rate suppliers grey relational analysis was used. Results indicated that using the integrated model we can consider quantitative and qualitative criteria simultaneously in assessing suppliers. Also flexibility and easy to use are advantages of the model. To experiment reliability of integrated model, suppliers were assessing many times with different coefficient of determination. Regarding different coefficient of determination between 0.1 and 1, results were similar. Hence using provided an integrated model for supplier selection is a reliable method.               Manuscript profile

The supply chain has recently attracted the attention of many researchers. The purpose of this paper is to identify Suppliers that have the highest potential capacity to meet the needs companies, with reasonable cost and also reduce the risk and maximize the total value of purchaser. Since suppliers are different in terms of products strengths and weaknesses and general conditions, requires a careful evaluation by the purchaser. In order to do this activity in the Companies, there are many problems; one of those problems is to determine the appropriate criteria for assessing supplier. This is because often need to be expressed in the form of qualitative concepts, while they must be evaluated quantitatively. In addition, in terms of decision makers, importance and priorities of each criterion are different, and this is one of the main reasons that authors are seeking to present a model to select suppliers based on appropriate criteria with emphasis on the importance degree of them in the decision-making process. So at first with reviewing the literature, criteria influencing the choice of suppliers were identified, then using a questionnaire that was completed by a Team of experts to screening criteria was discussed. The qualitative and quantitative data were collected and the importance of effective criteria in supplier selection determined by AHP method and finally suppliers of this company ranked using Grey COPRAS method. The most important criteria for evaluation supplier were assets and infrastructure (0.275) and Behran supplier was identified as the best supplier. Manuscript profile

As the supply chain emerged, the industrial and service organizations began to focus on their suppliers, and as the industries and services developed, they understood that the supplier’s proposed price has not been the only criterion to cooperate; but, the problem of supplier selection (SS) has been a multiple-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem. Besides, real-world problems have always been structurally complex. Therefore, due to ambiguity, high uncertainty, and imprecise information, the concept of fuzzy analysis was introduced. Now, we could use imprecise (fuzzy) information as the input of a fuzzy system, and the process of the system could employ approximate induction based on fuzzy logic. In this regard, studying the literature of SS and the criteria used for this purpose, we identify the most suitable criteria. To do so, primarily we designed an appropriate questionnaire, and then we used it to gather ideas of the experts to obtain the weights of the criteria in the fuzzy environment. Afterwards, using the Fuzzy VIKOR approach, we ranked the suppliers. Manuscript profile

Due to the competitive condition of the private environment of the organizations, the newly arrived services providing companies have gained a huge growth. The issues of economic recession as well as the bankruptcy of different industries, the railway industry in particular, have forced the organizations to make themselves ready for the critical days trying to remove the economic barriers by their own. So, these organizations must be familiar with the methods and tricks of the change management. This measure must be performed in such a way to make them less vulnerable to the turbulences which happen and to help them for the better quality, higher productivity with less administrative an production costs. In this paper, it is aimed to introduce the outsourcing strategy as a tool for enhancing the organizational productivity and through combining it with the DEA to provide a tool for the railway transportation companies to select their required suppliers. If the process of outsourcing by using the external resources is performed based on the certain studies, it would lead to the reduction of production costs, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, employment growth and finally to the increase of organizational productivity. Therefore, through outsourcing and combining it with DEA and GP for selecting the supplier, the process of using this acquired efficiency tool would be available.  Manuscript profile

In this paper, a new hybrid approach in supplier selection and order allocation is proposed. At the first step, the supplier evaluating criteria and sub-criteria are determined and their relationships and degrees of importance are specified via the fuzzy ANP-DEMATEL method. Afterwards, regarding the high variety of purchasing items, they are categorized into four groups by the Fuzzy Inference system (Kraljik model) and suppliers in each group are ranked using the Fuzzy WASPAS method. The next step is to determine the order allocation of items in a multi-product, multi-period, multi-supplier mixed integer programming model with three objectives of minimizing the cost, maximizing total utility of the purchasing process and minimizing changes of selected suppliers as a new objective function. Finally, the LP metric method is applied to solve the proposed multi-objective model, and Pareto solutions of the problem are determined by changing the coefficients of the objectives in this method. The proposed approach is used for suppliers evaluation and order allocation in a chemical company with a high number of purchasing items and suppliers. The accuracy of results is confirmed by experts. Regarding the comprehensiveness of the proposed approach, its application increases the accuracy of suppliers evaluation and order allocation, and therefore its utilization in organizations is recommended. Discretionary models for supplier efficiency evaluation assume that all criteria are controllable, i.e. they are controlled by the supplier and can change at the discretion of the management. These models do not consider supplier selection in circumstances where some factors are non-discretionary. In this paper, we present a data envelopment analysis (DEA) approach for selection of the best suppliers in the presence of non-discretionary factors and imprecise data that considers both optimistic and pessimistic perspectives. The optimistic perspective evaluates suppliers using the optimistic efficiency and can be used for identifying optimistic efficient suppliers, whereas the pessimistic perspective evaluates suppliers using the pessimistic efficiency and can be used for identifying pessimistic inefficient suppliers. These distinct efficiencies are integrated in the form of geometric average efficiencies that provide an assessment of the overall performance of each supplier in multiple criteria compared to other rival suppliers in the same market and therefore can be used as a basis for comparison of suppliers. We show that geometric average efficiencies have more discriminative power than either of the two efficiencies. A numerical example shows the advantages, capabilities, and applications of the proposed DEA approach. Manuscript profile

Supplier selection and evaluation is increasingly studied as a critical decision in supply chain management. Various decision making approaches have been proposed to tackle this problem. Supplier selection is a complex multi criteria decision making problem including both quantitative and qualitative factors rather than a single factor such as cost in a traditional way. This paper proposes Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), as one of the multi criteria decision making (MCDM) approaches, for selecting and rating potential suppliers in an automotive industry. MCDM methods are formal approaches to structure information and decision evaluation in problems with multiple, conflicting goals. AHP integrates experts’ opinions and evaluation scores, and devises the complex decision making system into a simple elementary hierarchy system. The evaluation method in terms of ratio scale is then employed to perform relative importance pair-wise comparison among every criterion. Finally, a realistic case study is presented in which an automobile manufacturer evaluates and ranks the suppliers of "coil spring" part of "Tiba" automobile based on several criteria of supply reliability.  Manuscript profile

Nowadays, supplying sources from outside a company has become an important business approach. A lot of models have been developed to solve the supplier selection problem. Among them, multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) has been used by lots of authors and researchers with acceptable results. A review of literature on supplier selection shows that although supplier selection is a multi-objective problem, the nature of this multi objective problem has remained unknown. In many cases, except cost, other important parameters like quality, lead time and risk are not considered. Also practically, the effect of the nature of uncertain and imprecise facts on decision making like objectives, constraints and parameters can't be disregarded. To take account of these uncertainties, this research uses fuzzy method. Discount and costs due to inventory keeping in the goal function have been considered simultaneously. We also have considered objectives like decreasing the defected parts, and late delivery. Manuscript profile

The objective of present study is to investigate the effect of firm size merge with three main components, technological capacity, suppliers’ cooperation and customer-oriented in services organizations. The number of population are selected from experts and technicians service-oriented organizations, as important service-oriented organizations representing the number of banks and financial institutions. It is noteworthy that to get data, and distribute questionnaire between samples. To describe the data it has been used frequency tables and diagrams with central limit indexes. Using the software SPSS and Excel to normality and Kolmogorov –Smirnov test, firstly data and analytical findings, regression analysis has been done to determine the significance of hypotheses. The findings showed a significant relationship between all four variables. Regression model consists of three independent variables and a fit model so that dependent and independent variables could explain innovation standardized beta coefficient of the company , co- suppliers, customers , R & D capacity and a significance level of their technology shows. As a result that customer with a beta coefficient of 0.54 is the highest share in explaining innovation and firm size with a beta coefficient of 0.09 lowest share in explaining the importance of innovation. Due to importance of factors, it has been found that service-oriented medium and large organizations have better performance and stability. Finally, this paper provides a conceptual model and hopes that usefulness for managers to make appropriate strategic decisions. Manuscript profile

A significant amount of costs in the process of supply chain assessment and management is often overlooked when applying traditional ways of evaluation and supplier choice, and it is essential to provide a comprehensive approach that can take into account all costs associated with a service or product. To this end, the concept of "Total Cost of Ownership" is considered as an appropriate criterion for performance assessment and an optimal method for productivity enhancement. It is a philosophy and a purchase device that seeks to delineate the actual purchase cost of a product or a particular service from a specific, and thereby, enhance productivity by reducing viable costs of an investment or purchase. Therefore, the current study sought to explore multiple dimensions of total cost of ownership in selection and evaluation of organizational suppliers. It further aimed to present a mathematical model that can offer an indicator to evaluate the supplier's performance based on each aspect of total cost of ownership making it possible for organizational decision makers to compare each of their suppliers from different perspectives and choose the most efficient and suitable supplier while keeping the cost to an absolute minimum. The proposed index was finally described based on a sample from an automobile manufacturing company.   Manuscript profile

In the business world today, intense competition among the firms forces them to operate under conditions of uncertainty which, in turn, gives rise to numerous risks that can negatively impact the supply chain and lower profitability and competitive advantage. Expansion and density of communication network in the supply chain, on the one hand, and inevitability of some disorders, on the other, underscore the importance of measuring and evaluating suppliers. Supplier resilience defined as less influenceability from and the capacity to quell disorders, hence, requires more rigorous scrutiny. The aim of the current research was thus to identify and level suppliers’ resilience criteria at Avrand's Industrial Group supply chain using a combination of Fuzzy Delphi (FDELPHI) and Interpretative Structural Modeling techniques. The results of the FDELPHI method showed that 16 of the 27 criteria extracted from the literature review were verified by the team of 10 experts. Further, the Interpretive Structural Modeling was employed to offer a hierarchical model of the verified criteria. The results revealed a five-level hierarchy of resilience criteria with the delay time criterion at the highest level and the most influenceable factor and financial strength criterion as the most influential factor placed at the lowest level. This article explores how different factors influence the number and dynamics of firms in supplier-dominated industries. These industries are typically traditional, small, and depend on external suppliers for innovation. The article uses a hybrid simulation of system dynamics and agent-based modeling to capture the realistic assumptions that firms do not have complete market information and make decisions based on simple heuristics and past and current conditions. The article conducts experiments to examine how initial conditions, machine life, economic parameters, producer optimism, production growth rate, and demand elasticity affect the entry and exit patterns and the number of firms in the industry. The article uses variables such as the time to reach the peak number of firms, the number of firms at the peak, and the number of firms at the end of the simulation period to represent the shape of the industry distribution. The experiments show that the initial number of firms, demand elasticity, machine life, and financial resources have the most significant effects on the distribution shape, while other factors such as economic growth also have some nonlinear effects. Choosing the right suppliers is the basis of a successful supply chain and a key factor for improving competitiveness. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to investigate the quality and failure rate of the parts that provided by the suppliers. In doing so,  the evaluation approach based on the failure rate was used and the reliability of the suppliers was determined and their ranking was done. As a result, the research method used is applied in nature and its method is contextual-case. Moreover, for the purpose of a case study, the suppliers of seven separate supply chains of an electrical appliance manufacturing company in Shiraz were examined that each of the chains included eight suppliers. Besides, in order to evaluate and establish the supplier's reliability model based on the failure rate, a parallel system was used. Finally, by calculating the reliability, the failure rate of the supplier's manufactured product was obtained. The results showed that this failure rate is a suitable criterion for comparing the output quality or the products of suppliers. Thus, it is possible to rate the suppliers based on this obtained model. Manuscript profile

In order to present and design the optimal model in the first place, the current criteria for selecting a supplier in Iran Khodro Parts Design and Engineering Company (Sapco) were reviewed. The statistical population of the study included 14 SAPCO experts, who were interviewed. At the end of the interview, while analyzing the research data and findings, conclusions and finally a model was designed. By examining the regression coefficient and the degree of correlation of variables, it was determined that only the components of design and production capacity, quality management systems and financial capacity were strongly and directly related to brand credibility (confirmation of Hypotheses 1, 2, 4, 9).Finally, the coefficient of model determination in this test was estimated to be 0.42%. This means that in the final approved model, 42% of the changes in the manufacturer variable are affected by the variables of brand credibility, design and production capacity, quality management system, financial capacity, etc. Therefore, parts suppliers, including Milan Chesb Knowledge-Based Company, in order to be selected by Sapco as the top supplier, should pay more attention to the approved factors of the model compared to other variables in the article. One of the most important topics that organizations are currently facing is the effective and efficient management of the supply chain. The main objective of this research is to rank contractors using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method. Firstly, existing frameworks for developing supply chain strategies are analyzed. Then this process is implemented to select the appropriate supplier in a case study. In this study, information on four criteria for evaluating contractors and information from three contractor companies is collected through interviews with experienced professionals. The contractor evaluation method in this research is performed by pairwise comparison of contractors, considering each criterion and its weight. Using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process algorithm, relevant calculations are performed, and contractor companies are ranked. As a result, the best contractor is introduced to the company. This method can be used to improve supply chain management and enhance the quality and efficiency of supplier selection processes. Additionally, this method helps organizations make better decisions in the contractor selection process and achieve significant improvements in their supply chain performance. Manuscript profile
