Background and Objective: Housing has various indices such as psychological, physical, personal, social, etc. These indices affect people's satisfaction with their residential complexes by two variables, age and gender. Nowadays, the construction of residential complexes that do not fit the conditions of the users has caused people to be dissatisfied with their place of residence, which occurs in children in the form of psychological problems. Therefore, in designing residential complexes, paying attention to children's satisfaction is essential. In the present study, the identification and comparison of effecting indices in children's satisfaction with residential complexes disaggregated by gender is considered. Material and Methodology: This study is a developmental research which has been done using mixed (qualitative and quantitative), descriptive-correlational and causal-comparative method. The statistical population includes children aged 11-15 years living in residential complexes of Kaj, Karimabad and Aramesh newly built townships located in Tonekabon city. For a comparative evaluation, 100 girls and 100 boys were selected as the sample. After conducting theoretical studies and interviews with children, a theoretical framework was developed and two closed-ended and Likert scale questionnaires in the field of life satisfaction and important components of housing were used to collect information. Findings were analyzed using SPSS.19 software and Pearson, Friedman and T-Student correlation tests. Findings: Physical (neighboring unit and residential unit), environmental and individual indices based on the concrete and mental dimensions of the environment were identified with impact factors of 50.06, 6.9, 6.45 and 4.00, respectively. Boys and girls disagreed only in the components of recreational, sports and games and also the components of welfare, service, cultural and commercial with averages of 3.45, 3.36 and 2.66, 2.75, respectively. Discussion and Conclusion: According to the results, there are very slight differences between the opinions of children in two sexes and the concrete-neighboring unit index has the greatest impact on their satisfaction. Therefore, designing the factors such as: suitable facade, yard, green space and various vegetation, environmental elements and furniture, open spaces, friendly and collective spaces, etc. is recommended. Alienation, in its different aspects, is a social damage with various factors influencing on its emergence and its extensions. Life experience is a potential variable that can be assessed in the context. Thus, it has been attempted, in this paper, to address the sociological impacts of life satisfaction, in both individual and social levels, on aspects of alienation. Method applied for the research is surveying while the questionnaire has been used as the main technique to gather information. The statistical population of the research is consisted of adult citizens of Tehran (n=384). In this study, Seeman’s research has been applied in order to study alienation through its five aspects of powerlessness, normlessness, meaninglessness, social isolation and self-estrangement. Besides, life satisfaction has been studied in two levels of individual and social life satisfaction. According to the results, it established that from various forms of alienation, feeling of powerlessness has claimed the higher average among the studied population. It put an emphasis on a meaningful, inverse correlation between life satisfaction and all aspects of alienation, not least the connection between meaningless and life satisfaction that was higher than others (-0.57). Furthermore, among levels of life satisfaction, meaningless has the highest correlation with individual life satisfaction (-0.55), while normlessness claims higher solidarity with social life satisfaction among others (-0.37). In the field of underlying variables, a meaningful correlation was acquired between activity and life satisfaction. However there appeared no significant connection between other underlying variables and life satisfaction. Manuscript profile

O besity is one of the most common problems in today's world that can reduce the life satisfaction of people with this problem. Therefore, it is important to identify the factors related to their satisfaction with their lives. The present research was devoted to the role of alexithymia and rumination in predicting the life satisfaction of obesity patients. The research method was descriptive and correlational based. Among all obese and overweight women who referred to weight loss treatment centers (centers for nutrition counseling and dietary regimen) in Tehran in 1395, 106 women with a minimum degree of education at the age range of 15-65 and a BMI higher than 30 were selected. They responded to Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS, Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS, Bagby, Parker, & Taylor, 1994), and Ruminative Response Scale (RRS, Nolen-Hoeksema and Marrow, 1991). The results of regression analysis showed that rumination and alexithymia significantly explained 25% of life satisfaction in obesity patients. Based on these results, the life satisfaction in obese people by controlling rumination and increasing the ability to express emotion can be increased. Manuscript profile

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of teaching psychological resilience on positive and negative affect and life satisfaction in adolescence. The research methodology was quasi-experimental with an experimental group and pretest-posttest control group design and a 2 month follow-up stage. 50 adolescent girls and their mothers were selected via convenience sampling method. The girls were from a high school in Tehran. The psychological resilience training program (Steinhardt and Dolbier, 2008) was taught to the mothers of the experimental group by group training in a weekly two-hour session for seven weeks, and the adolescents in 2 groups responded in 3 stages to the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (Watson, Clark & Tellegen, 1988) and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (Diener, Emmons, Larsen & Griffin, 1985). Data were analyzed by ANOVA with repeated measure. The results showed that the psychological resilience training program for mothers had an effect on positive and negative affect, and life satisfaction of their adolescents, and the effect has remained intact in the follow-up stage. The psychological resilience program can lead to mental immunity by enhancing positive thinking, emotional management skills, and self-empowering cognitive interpretations, and decreasing self-destructive cognitive interpretations and eventually by improving interpersonal skills among adolescents. The nature of the relationship between online social capital and Psycho-Social health is influenced by many important factors such as identity motivations and ostentation strategies. In addition, the use of Internet social networks can lead to intercultural change. In this regard, the main issue of the research is what are the social and psychological consequences of online social capital factors in a cultural environment and how different are the online social capital relationships among Internet users. The participants were 740 people from Abadan and Masjed Soleiman counties in Khuzestan province, who completed questionnaires with cross-sectional measurements of online social capital and socio-psychological aspects. As a result, online network capital was clearly more prominent in its relationship with identity motivations for Masjed Soleiman users than Abadan users. It seems that for Abadan users, online link capital has a direct connection with identity motivations, and these were the means to create a link alone, happiness and life satisfaction. Also, online social capital is culturally different, especially in terms of how different types of online mediated social resources can affect socio-mental health resources. Manuscript profile
