Most of socio-cultural and even political concepts and meanings in historical monuments have formed after the creation of them and in the process of audience communication with those artifacts, influenced and hide in many cases. Therefore, in order to study the process of semantics in Alisha Ark of Tabriz from the time of its construction in the Il-khanate period to the present time has been used descriptive-analytical approach and semiotic methods. The question is how the meanings of Ark have transformed based on surrounding context and elements of the Compound Building. The results indicate that during the Il-khanate period, the Compound Building of Alishāh was a representation of the main foundations of government, including: political power (palaces), religious power (the grand mosque and monastery) and economic power (the main part of market). In the Timurid period, its semiosis criterion was modified and divided with other monuments (the Compound Building of Mozaffariyih and the Compound Building of Sāhib-Ābbād). During the Safavid period, the original context of the ark changed and the architectural elements became a virtual representation of military power. In the Qajar period, it became a symbol of national efforts and in Pahlavi period, it was a manifestation of tradition and modernity. In the period after the Islamic Revolution, the Ark has been made both recontextualization (construction of a large musallā instead of the first Il-khanate mosque in the northern part of Ark) and has found a museum and tourism function.   Manuscript profile

        A. Tarski's truth- theory is based on classic conception ofcorrespondance-truth-theory and of semantics. The semantic impartof Tarski's study on truth makes his project distiguished from theother truth- investigations. One of the most issues which Tarskipays attention to it, is deductive disciplines. The deductivedisciplines consist in axioms (or postulates), primary concepts, andcertain derivation rules. In this research, first, we try to answer thequestion whether asking for truth of the sentences of deductivesystem such as mathematics and logic is correct and significant one.Second, after asserting postive answer to first question, in virtue ofTarski's semantical ideas, it is examined the ways by which isacommplished for truth of the sentences of sciences and deductivesystems. Such definition is based on Tarski's conception of"concequence" and "model" which are in accordance with hissemantic approach. Then it is mentioned that the semantic accountis in contrast with apodictic and syntactical ones which are not inaccordance with Tarski's semantic attitudes and didn't enclude allformulated theorms in deductive systems. Finally, the positivefeatures of the new definition for truth is explained and some(re)assessments and/or (re)evalutions are discussed. Manuscript profile

One of the newest approaches to literary criticism is the cognitive approach. The macro metaphors that are needed to understand literary works use the mechanisms of conceptual metaphors in this view. In this article, relying on the cognitive concept of metaphor, the authors intend to comparatively examine the macro metaphor of knowledge in the poems of Bikas and Yamini Sharif. The research data is the poem "Book" from the collection of poems "Inak Dokhtari Sarzamine Man Ast" (2011), composed by Bikas and the poem "Good Book" written by Yamini Sharif. The main questions of the research are how the concept of knowledge is reflected in these poems and how micro-conceptual metaphors are integrated in the superstructure of these poems by the macro metaphor of knowledge. The present study is based on the theories of Likoff and Johnson (1980) and Kuchsh (2010), and is conducted qualitatively. The research findings show that the micro metaphors used in the superstructure of these poems have a basic infrastructure called macro knowledge metaphor. Manuscript profile

Among the aesthetic forms of rhetoric, metaphor is one of the most eloquent and efficient tools that are used more for abstract concepts to make its understanding tangible and objective, and it constantly tries to attract the attention of the audience by creating a kind of deconstruction in the meaning and words. In this way, it creates a conceptual and fundamental structure that is used to think about more abstract matters. These linguistic structures are the same as pictorial schemas. Schemas are a process of language cognitive structures created by human physical experiences in dealing with the outside world. In short, the mind is able to process the input data of the environment and to analyze and decode complex semantic concepts in the linguistic-speaking context. It is worth mentioning that in the structure of traditional ode and Quranic texts, epic poems and eloquent poems have a significant role in this regard. Manuscript profile

Semantics is one of the new approaches in Quranology of the last century. This knowledge has been very effective in the growth and promotion of Quranology today and has been welcomed by Quran scholars. One of the branches of semantics is structural semantics, and among them, one of its topics is determining the semantic domains of a word. In the following article, the semantic domain of Lail in the Holy Quran is explained. The research method is textual analysis based on the pattern of accompaniment and substitution of words with the word Lail. This study shows that the words that are related to this word in the process of companionship and succession can be examined as the semantic pairs and subsets of semantic relations day and night (inclusiveness of night and day, etc.); Phenomena accompanying the night (moon, stars and darkness); The sections of Lail (Shafaq, Maghrib, etc.), the functions of Lail (devotional, social, calendar, natural) and the semantic-conceptual types of Lail (complementary, intensifying, distributive and reciprocal) in the Qur'an were examined.          Paying attention to the meanings and evolution of some words and researching in such cases leads to providing a correct understanding of religious texts. Among these cases, we can mention the meaning of "Azar Buhen" in the verse of Nashuz. Many translators and commentators of the Qur'an have translated and interpreted Zarb here as meaning "beating and corporal punishment", while dictionaries do not mention the meaning of "beating" or "beating" is one of the sub-meanings of "Zarb". In the Holy Qur'an, the word "Zarb" and its derivatives are used in different meanings, and in the narrations from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), "Zarb" is used to mean non-"beating", and some followers, such as Ata considered the meaning of anger to women from "Zarb" in the verse of Nashuz, and also the many narrations that have been narrated from the Prophet of Islam about the prohibition of beating women, all of which indicate that Zarb in the verse of Nashuz has a different meaning than what translators and commentators have considered. Therefore, it can be said that "Azar Buhen" does not necessarily mean physical beating, but is a kind of treatment of vulgar women. Manuscript profile

The method of adaptation is always one of the most effective methods in obtaining the truth in most subjects. In the present era, the book of Tafsir Al-Rahman Al-Rahman and Al-Mizan is one of the great interpretations of our era, which in general view the method of ijtihad of the Qur'an to the Qur'an is a characteristic of both interpretations. After explaining the general structure of these two interpretations and referring to the characteristics of each in the position of comparison and application of the method of the Qur'an to the Qur'an, the present article explains the vocabulary and the important issue of the context in both interpretations. The detailed, comprehensive and extensive explanation of the meaning of words is one of the key components of the interpretation of blessings, which truly has a new style. God Almighty has designed the words of the Holy Qur'an in such a way that in order to understand some of them, a network of related meanings must be formed. One of these words is the word Asma in verses 31 to 33 of Surah Al-Baqarah. The findings indicate that there are many interpretive sayings in this regard. In this library analytical article, the sayings of the commentators are divided into eleven aspects and it is tried to examine and critique them using the semantic method of Isutsu, and then the interpretation of the mentioned verses is expressed with a semantic approach to the word "Asma". The importance of this issue is to achieve the semantic network of the word "Asma" because it is essentially necessary to explore the semantic components of the words in the textual context of the Holy Quran in order to provide a better interpretation. The purpose of this article is to provide the semantic network of the word "Asma" to the Quranic scientific community so that its results can be used in interpretive and Quranic research. Holy Quran – as the only unchangeable text – expresses the reality in the form of fact with the aim of understanding and considers human’s wisdom as the most important proof of thoughtfulness. Quran’s fact has been emerged in human’s language and its Creator has applied all selected language’s capability in order to transfer the concepts. Thus the most important criterion for proper understanding is to understand the lexicon properly and exactly. In the contemporary era, wide researches in the field of semantics and pragmatics have been done. One of the subdivisions of semantics is the historical semantics of the words and terms. Studying terms’ semantic changes by passing time based on language features is one the concepts which would change and effect their meanings. The present article aims to study and survey the relationship between tone and meaning in the concepts relating to ethics and Hereafter as well as its effect in readers’ acceptance and motivation. The applied method in this research is descriptive – analytical and statistical. The conclusion of studying the data shows that plosive consonants are applied in stating Hereafter concepts more frequently and the frequency of using fricative consonants is more in expressing concepts of ethics. This proves that there is a direct relationship between vocal features and related concepts; this means each vowel expresses an emotion. This is natural and is seen in all languages; it also verifies that Holy Quran contains all capabilities to send the message of happiness to human beings. Manuscript profile

One of the important tools that can be used to convey concepts and content more accurately and quickly to people's minds is the use of proverbs, similes, and allegories and so on. The Holy Qur'an has used tools such as examples and allegorical metaphors to express guiding messages in a rhetorical and conceptual format. One of the best ways in which the Qur'an can explain rational teachings and spiritual concepts to people is by simile and allegory; Because through similes and allegories, facts are brought to mind in simple and fluent language. There are about 500 verses in the Holy Quran that have similes, allegories, allusions, metaphors and allegorical similes. This article intends to study and analyze the allegorical similes of the Holy Quran in the category of charity by adopting a descriptive-analytical method, after explaining the concept of allegorical simile and its Quranic function. the aim of the present study is to study the semantics of the contrast between the words Ease and Difficulty in the Holy Quran; Because in addition to vocabulary sources, one of the best ways to know the meaning of words is to apply them semantically opposed to each other. Another way is to use the context of the verses before and after. Sometimes, from the context or meaning of the opposite word, meanings of a word are understood that are not found in any dictionary. At the same time, there is a semantic similarity between the understood meaning and the root principle of the word. The more we understand the meanings of the verses, the more we will enjoy the meanings of the verses of the Qur'an and the better we will benefit from the verses of God in our material and spiritual life. One of the most important results of this research is to realize the semantic beauties of Quranic verses along with more accurate knowledge of the meaning of these two words, familiarity with the two methods and their use, and that whenever God first mentions Yasir and then expresses difficulty, it is a kind of warning. Has given and whenever difficulty has preceded ease, it has promised and hoped that the difficulty will be removed and the opening will be achieved. Manuscript profile

This research is a semantic study in Hatem Taei's poetry. After a brief look at the science of semantics and semantic domains and a brief look at Hatam's life, we studied every word in the semantic realm of forgiveness that either indicates the generosity of the poet or exists to gain the praise of God and people in his poetry. In examining all the words and combinations in this research, it is tried to deal with Hatam's poetry analytically, because the analysis can reveal to us the most accurate details of the issues, clarify the relationship between these words for us. This study intends to analyze the obvious or hidden relationships between these words by examining the semantics of Hatam's poetry. By extracting the words of this semantic domain, such as al-Bazal, al-Jud, Al-Khargh, Al-Ata, Al-Fazl, Al-Karam, Al-Nadi, Al-Naam, Al-Vahab, etc., and studying their semantic relations with other words, we performed a semantic analysis of Hatam Taei's poetry. There are many commonalities between the science of meanings in Persian and Arabic languages. Most of the scholars of Persian language rhetoric have imitated in their works and have mentioned the same contents of the semantics of the Arabic language without change or with Persian evidence. The present study has analyzed the existing differences regarding the topics of calling, mourning, asking, praising and condemning, wondering, wishing and recommending with the help of experts in the semantics of Persian and Arabic. The final result is that in the above-mentioned topics, while there are commonalities, there are also differences, and the structural model of Arabic sentences is often rule-based and analogical, but in the Persian language, the above-mentioned topics often do not have special and coherent structural rules. Stylistic studies intend to study the structure of poetry and to analyze its parts and the purpose is to reveal its arrangement according to the phonological, structural and rhetorical levels, in order to distinguish between the literary products and to judge the volubility of it; the literary text is interspersed with weakness and refraction. stylistics studies intend to study stylistic structures in literary discourse, "the rhythmic, synthetic and semantic structure." Its purpose is to reveal the relationships that bind these structures, in order to reach the uniqueness of the literary discourse in terms of its linguistic structure and the realization of the artistic and literary value that lies behind it. This study aimed to study the stylistics and style of language and terminology and its three levels: The phonemic level, the semantic level, and the syntactic level, and made a stylistic comparison in two poems: One is Shams al-Din al-Kufi and the other for Ibn Shahid. In the first poem, the poet laments his beloved city "Baghdad" and in the other he weeps for his loss of “Cordoba”. After studying the stylistic features and characteristics in both poems and comparing them, the conclusion is that both poets have used stylistic features to give it meanings that the apparent language is unable to convey to the recipient. Upon comparison, it became clear that each of them had surpassed in some characteristics over its owner and failed in others. and there is an intentional balance in the rhythm of the two poems. Phonetic semantics play a key role in expressing aesthetics, through the study of the characteristics of sounds, the repetition of words, and their relevance with meanings.Contemporary Iraqi poetry was not limited to the care of good systems only. But the concern was with that and before it in the sense. Abd al-Azim Finjan (1955-) an Iraqi poet who sang romantic poetry in contemporary Arabic literatureThe most prominent of his poetry collections is "Angels Return to Work", consisting of two parts. The first is: "A People of Butterflies and Crystal", which is a celebration of love in all its variations. The second is titled "The Legend of the Book Thief" and deals with personal legends of men and women, with an important paragraph called "Gospel". Apocryphal" where wisdom mingles with the everyday poem. In his poetry, there is a kind of music that was not perceived except through a delicate sense and a precise understanding. This inner music hides in the conscience of words, structures and sentences and affects the listener with a special effect. This research pays attention to the vocal aesthetics through the semantics of sounds, and the statement of the characteristics of poetic sounds. We chose the collection of poetry "The Angels Return to Work" because of the abundance of what we saw in it of the sounds' indication of its subject matter and because of the implications of these vocal techniques in the poet's poetry. the semantic sign analysis of the Paris school examines the relationship between linguistic signs in discursive system and the study of two narrative and semantic structures in two levels of structured and profound construction. This analysis shows that a sign in relation to other discriminant signs goes through a process that has a special meaning. In the study of surface structure of elements such as the external and internal forms of discourse, the dynamic dimension of the word, the role of effective verbs, actors, action, the relationship of elements in the axis of substitution and association, features and isotopes, and the like, and in the deep study of the semantic square and its relationship with the narrative structure and the semantic role of effective verbs in theology and in the interactive level of discourse, the study of the dimensions of cognitive, action, and emotional, are effective tools in semantic analysis. In this descriptive – analytical study, we tried to examine the structure of narrative syntax in the story of “entekhab” by Simin Daneshvar by studing the elements of narrative syntax, we show discursive signs in many stories of such a process to lead to the formation of the meaning of the story. Catherine Kerbrat, a famous French linguist, in one of her valuable works entitled “Indirect Discourse”, introduced an issue regarding verbal communication, which began later studies on semantics, linguistics and, especially, science of communication. In her opinion, the possibility of a direct discourse is very little and most of our verbal communication is not direct in our daily life, and, basically, we usually express our ulterior motives and inner intentions indirectly. Therefore, always in prepositions, the untold prevail over the told, and, their size and scope is more extensive than the told or direct speech. Expressing these prepositions forces the addressee to think about their quality and quantity and to decipher them. The purpose of the present study was to analyze indirect discourse in ShahnamehFerdowsi based on the semantic theory of Kerbrat. The results indicated that the indirect speech was frequently used in Shahnameh beautifully and eloquently, and, Ferdowsi was successful in using the language and metalanguage factors. The fiction literature is an appropriate range for discursive research in the composition of narrative and narrative, Narratives are the understanding of the relationships and the inner composition of literary work in order to achieve the ultimate structure of a narrative, and the narrative based on aesthetics is a new step in the field of fiction literature. In order to understand and understand a narrative, it is necessary to identify the specifics of the storytelling language, and because, in the process of discourse analysis, the discovery of the structures of implications, the semantic system can be discovered, can be a suitable area for extraction of actions and souls that create a new meaning. On the other hand, the conditions governing the flow of the mind can transcend the objective signs that have come about in the course of time in a new chapter of semantic separation, and by introducing the new meaning of existential discourse of Greimas by creating the plots and implications of the narrative's course of action existential positions are shaped. In this essay, existential discourse is a product of the flow of the narrator's mind through semantic holes. The discourse's rhetoric, when it comes out of an unlucky situation in order to reach meaningless transcendence, creates the existential discourse and, in a sense-perceptual direction, draws on the fragmentation of the desire to create new and different signs. In this approach, the process of producing meaning is linked to sensory-perceptual conditions, and signs, along with meaning, become fluid, dynamic, plural, and multidimensional. Considering the interpretability and breadth of meaning that can be seen in the mystical anecdotes of Masnavi. This approach was the basis of research in the story of the king and the maid from the first book of Rumi's Masnavi. The present paper, in a descriptive-analytical manner, seeks to examine the types of discourse systems used in this story.           Juxtaposition of words is a linguistic phenomenon that exists in all languages and is not specific to a language and means common relationship of one word with other certain words in a language. Juxtaposition of words is one of the most important issues of semantics because of its important role in determining meaning of many words and combinations. This verbal phenomenon is one of distinguishing indices of text structure and a key for its reading, analysis, and interpretation. Juxtaposition of words indicates that in addition to literal meaning of words we need to investigate status of a word in a composition and its relation with other words to understand intended meaning of the text. Analysis and classification of juxtaposition of words offer a clear picture of stylistic coordination of a poet and his intellectual system and help critics to criticize his poetry properly. The present paper studies juxtaposition of words semantically in poems of Labid through descriptive - analytic method and tries to answer these two fundamental questions: what types of juxtaposition of words have been used in poems of Labid? What is the role of juxtaposition of words in understanding the meaning? In this article, it will be observed that the poet utilized two types of nominal and verbal juxtaposition in his poem. Also it will be found that study of this verbal phenomenon has a significant role in understanding the meaning. Manuscript profile

The theory of a perfect man has always been attractive and interesting to great thinkers ever since so that it has become one of the main pillars in Islamic mysticism. The perfect man has many features the most important of which is the feature of province (Velayah). In this article the authors are going to make a survey on the perfect man's province from AlamehTabatabayee's viewpoint in which the main question remains to be what The semantics, ontology, and the province functions are in his opinion. Allameh believes that God is the only possessor of province and thus He is the sole province;  accordingly, to him the Saint of God is someone who has achieved the divine Sainthood. The necessity of  the perfect man is not only for the human kind, but also it extends to the whole world, that is, for a human being to be elevate to perfection, he needs not only a perfect human, but also all of the world needs the perfect man for his survival and preservation. Allameh assumes each one of the creatures to be the divine names among which the word human is the most comprehensive of all the divine names. After all, the outcomes of this research include: 1-  In addition to the necessity of existence for the perfect man that is often the basis of the necessity, the writers have dealt with the necessity of the knowledge and epistemological necessity of human being in the universe; each of the three-fold evidences are proofs of the perfect man necessity in the universe; 2- AllamehTabatabai in his book called Al-Mizan has expressed four categories for different provinces including the developmental province for God, the provincial legislation for God, the provincial legislation for the prophet Muhammad, and the provincial legislation of Alawi; 3- The authors have comprehended two verbal and cognitive functions out of  Sainthood in the Works of AllamehTabatabai. Hermeneutics is such an outstanding approach in the study of humanity that is used for analyzing and interpreting text meaning, focusing on text comprehension. This article aimed to investigate a sonnet by Hossein Monzavi entitled “Your Mourning Is Epic” analytically and descriptively based on the modern hermeneutics theory. Hence first of all, encoding of the surface meaning of the poem has been done. Then, connotation of the text has been clarified on the basis of the obtained literary significations. The findings indicated that Monzavi, through combining all myths, succeeded to collapse times and places, destroyed common logic of narration, reproduced somehow the myths and recreated historical narrations in a novel context with new semantic capacities. Turning to the subjects of war and the holy defense that had governed the poems of that time, he had employed the device of combining the myth of Siavash and historical epic of Ashura as well as the similarities among the happenings and thoughts of the two events so that he would be able to strengthen the space and tone of his sonnet along the path of epic whereby his readership’s feelings would be raised and he would encourage them to maintain their sense of safeguarding their homeland as well as their religious-national values. This epistemological view of the Qur'an and mystical texts such as: Mersad al-Ebad and Kashf al-Asrar Hafez is the source of Hafez's view of the truth of the universe, but the method, color, and gender of the God-believing attitude in his poetry are not uniform, and there are many examples of popular, devout, existential unity, intuition, etc. in Hafez's Divan. Fields of common ideas in those days - such as Ash'ari theology, algebraic view, Sufi and theological thought and 2- In Hafez's poetry, he found and showed, but his attitude often seems "personal, innovative and independent, and the "romantic and friendly" approach has a more meaningful presence in the content of his poetry.                 In the policy-making of the Islamic city, the principles of religion, rules and hadiths should influence the decisions and decisions of the city. In various subjects of urban planning, by extracting semantic components, the (form) of the city can be studied and also the essence of existence (meaning) in the Islamic city can be achieved based on the urban form.In this regard, the present study has explained the semantic components of the Islamic city in line with urban policy-making. The method used in this research is a qualitative method that is descriptive and analytical and information collection is done in the form of libraries and documents. Studies were carried out according to the explanation of the concept of meaning and semantics and its origin in architectural works, as well as criteria for semantic analysis of urban space to elements such as signs and semiotics, as well as art. Then, the significant relationship between meaning and signs and aesthetics in the physics of the Islamic city was investigated and in addition to expressing the nature of the Islamic city, its principles, pillars, elements and expressing the shape of the Islamic city from the perspective of theorists, an analysis was expressed in terms of semantic components. The originality of existence, the originality of nature, the knowledge of phenomena, the unity of object and mind, the two-way relationship of meaning and form. Finally, the order of existence of the object was achieved in the Islamic city. It can be said that considering the important role of the form in today's societies and the lack of attention to semantic dimensions in urban bodies, the politics of the presence and relationship of semantic components in the Islamic city can lead the space to the main Islamic ideals.Extended AbstractIntroduction:      One of the problems of urban planning in today's cities is the lack of the necessary platform for the implementation and realization of new urban development plans and programs. But now most attention has been paid to the form and physic of cities and regardless of the main meanings in Islam and only the physical foundations of the Islamic city has spread everywhere. Therefore, based on this important matter, this study examines the main components of meaning in the Islamic city and what and why it is, as well as the manner and cause of meaning in the Islamic city and also its application in urban policy-making. In order to reach the components of meaning in the Islamic city, first the meaning and semantics from the perspective of Islam and what and its origin in architectural works are discussed. Then, the pillars, elements and components of the Islamic city in the direction of urban policy-making have been studied. In order to index it, semantic components in the Islamic city have been explained.Methodology:     The method used in this research is qualitative according to the elements of the Islamic city and has been done descriptively-analytically. The method of collecting information is in the form of libraries and documents, which has been done in the Islamic city due to the question-oriented nature of this research and addressing the main questions such as what and why and the main components of meaning. In the studies section, according to the explanation of the concept of meaning and semantics and its origin in architectural works, as well as criteria for semantic analysis of urban space, elements such as signs and semiotics as well as art studies are discussed. Then, the significant relationship between meaning and signs and aesthetics in the body of the Islamic city is investigated and an analysis is given in terms of the semantic components of the Islamic city in addition to expressing the nature of the Islamic city, its principles, pillars, elements and expressing the shape of the Islamic city from the perspective of theorists. Results and discussion:      According to the mentioned cases, it can be concluded that without the semantic components in the Islamic city (which was mentioned in different parts of this study), the atmosphere of good life, which is the main goal of Islam, can not be achieved. Therefore, based on the mentioned cases, it is possible to explain the semantic components in line with the policy-making of the Islamic city. Conclusion:      In this study, the semantic perspective and attention to it, in order to find the facts in urban policy-making has been considered. The significance of semantics in the policy-making of the Islamic city and its form and determining criteria for urban space to create an environment based on the presence of the pillars of Islamic religion in the daily life of society is one of the most basic factors in shaping the Islamic utopia. The policy-making of the main factors in the city, both meaningfully and inherently, and in form and appearance, is based on Islam and its principles. In this regard, paying attention to semiotics and understanding it is very important. Urban policy-making considers signs and semiotics from two perspectives of form and meaning, which can include artistic and aesthetic analyzes. Given the important role of the physic and form in today's societies and the lack of attention to semantic dimensions in urban physics, the politics of the presence and relationship of semantic components in the Islamic city can lead the space to the main Islamic ideals. Thus, when paying attention to physical factors (for example, the construction of mosques and its relationship with other urban areas), the issue of meaning and concept in the nature of phenomena should be considered to be able to use appropriate urban policy to the utopia of Islam acquired. An index is an objective or conceptual tool with or based on which the Islamicity of existing and proposed urban plans can be tested and based on them, executive solutions can be proposed to improve the current situation and planning in line with urban policy-making and design of modern Islamic cities. Also, proper policy-making for designing cities can solve the basic problem of the body in Islamic cities. Manuscript profile

According to the rules and principles of semantics, the role and importance of sentence types in conveying concepts can be examined. In this research, which has been done in a descriptive-analytical manner and using library sources, the author intends to study the rhetorical aspects of Shahnameh letters with the approach of the position of news and compositional sentences and has reached the conclusion that in fiction and There are many Persian epics, roles and letters that are not comparable to the letters of Ferdowsi Shahnameh and the number of 250 letters used in Shahnameh is proof of this claim. These letters are mostly used in two parts: heroism and history, and Ferdowsi's goal is not only to convey the thoughts and wishes of their sender; Rather, each is an opportunity for the sage to use innovation and diversity; Sometimes quotes parts of the story from the language of the letter writer; Sometimes, by expressing one's feelings in one's own language, Shuri speaks in order to find an opportunity to pay homage to the characters of the epic heroes, and without his presence casting a shadow over the events, he conveys his analyzes and even messages to the audience and in a word The letters are the full mirror of the Shahnameh. One of the principles of cognitive semantics is the corporatization of the concepts. Language users build basic conceptual structures according to their physical experiences in the world through which they can trigger the whole meaning and interpret other more abstract events. Mark Johnson categorized these concrete experiences under the name of “image schema” theory and divided it into 3 subcategories called path schema, containment schema and force schema. Accordingly this paper tries to analyze Vahshiye Bafghi poems to figure out the extent at which this salient poet has used these tools to convey meaning. For this purpose, 66 out of Bafghi’s quatrains which include 264 hemistiches, has been selected. The analyses revealed that 114 cases the poet has used the image schema to convey meaning. In most cases, the path schema has been used with verb like “pass, hasten, and go” which imply some sort of motion. After that, the containment schema, using words such as snare and seclusion, have the most share in meaning construal. And finally the force schema with using expressions which imply separation and banned items, have been used by Bafghi to facilitate the process of decoding and interpretation on his intentions. This study with application of a mixed-view of translation and linguistics, conducted to analyze the translations of banking texts in the documentary credit section (custom and practices) of international banking by selection of five translated books among which one hundred and seventy sentences were randomly selected. To this end, two perspectives of Newmark translation equivalent finding strategies and structural semantics with a descriptive-analytical method based on library resources were applied in order to analyze and recognize those translation strategies which are most frequently utilized and have prominent role in the correct translation and transmission of meaning in these types of text. Findings of the study indicate that transference and through-translation are the most frequent strategies and others are less likely to occur. Also, recognized translation, translation label, compensation, componential analysis, notes, additions and glosses and cultural strategies (in the specialized section of texts) are not utilized at all. Contrary to the frequency and based on the founded samples: functional, descriptive, componential analysis, notes, additions and glosses and through-translation play a more prominent role in translations of these types of text. Of course, this does not mean that other strategies do not play a role in equivalent selections of such texts, but the appropriate use of other strategies seems to be superficial for translation and transfer of correct meaning in these types of text and each strategy must be used in its proper place. In cognitive semantics, language is not separated from mind and cognition.  A main objective of this study is to seek a comprehensive explanation for prototype and its importance in cognitive studies. Meanwhile, the researcher uses the prototype theory as an analytical tool. According to this theory, the prototype is the central example of the category and other members assigns their membership by means of a judgment of similarity to a central example. The results show that the language phenomena's depends on form and function. In other words, to analyze language we should consider both form and function.           Language products are a function of a complex process, in which many sign-semantic factors are involved. One of the dimensions of the sign-semantics is the tension process. In the tension process, between sign-semantic elements, there is a relationship that fluctuates from the bolder. This process drives discourse into a kind of value system and confronts us with the generated meaning. The question of research is how are the sign-semantics factors creating the process of the formation of meaning in the narrative of Iraj's verse? And is it possible to find an open and fluid reading through the tension squared effect? The purpose of this study was to investigate the general structure of Iraj's verse narrative and to explain the discursive factors, semantic and tension squares, effective verbs in the narrative process, and the place and meaning of meaning in the above effect. The aim of the present study is to discover the relationship between the Alamat (as an example of Iranian-Islamic metal handicrafts) and the religious visual arts in recent years. The Toogh (collar) has long been one of the special tools for mourning the Seyyed al-shohada in Iranian Islamic culture and civilization. In the ninth and tenth centuries AH, we can see the Toogh in Iranian paintings. Later in the Pahlavi era, it was so prominent in the paintings of the Saqakhaneh school as an element of the folkloric art of the Iranian people. But after the Islamic Revolution of Iran, especially in recent years, we can see the Alamat in the drawings of various sub-branches of visual communication (such as posters, illustration, logos, etc.), paintings, decoration, jewelry designs and fashion and clothing. The present study tries to answer questions such as how the Alamat is presented in these art works and the semantics of the different forms of these symbols in combination with other works of visual arts. The data is collected through library and field research method and the result shows that in recent years, Ashura symbols have had some changes, in addition to their main uses (mourning tools), and have taken on new functions and are more prominent in religious graphics than other items. Semantics has an effective role in providing rules for inferring and issuing Shari'a rulings from detailed evidence. The science of the principles of jurisprudence is multilayered and rich in linguistic and semantic complexities and multiple perspectives. This research uses an analytical and inferential method to provide a framework for understanding the concepts, rules, and inferences.Semantic Methods in Principle Science Who came to the conclusion by regularizing the methods of identifying the exact meaning of principled terms, such as recognizing the literal and idiomatic meaning of the principled words, and extracting concepts and knowledge of role-oriented and formalist and cognitive linguistics. That a detailed understanding of the meanings of the science of principles and rules must be in the correct and comprehensive way of the semantics and linguistics of the principles of jurisprudence. Which, by combining formalist and role-oriented semantics, each of which alone does not work in the ambiguity and inference of the true meaning of ambiguous sentences And in combining the two, the role of the mind as the locus of language and the role of the linguist as a person trying to describe what is within the mind and with which human beings are capable of producing and understanding linguistic concepts, has not been given much attention. Therefore, cognitive linguistics should also be considered. Principals and scholars, while separating hermeneutics and semantics, must be able to develop jurisprudential principles with hermeneutical knowledge in accordance with religious beliefs and to better handle the issues of jurisprudence. The present study examines the conceptual metaphors of anger in the rituals of both Persian and Turkish proverbs. This study attempts to extract and collect the required data from 9 sources for both languages. By searching the sources, 28 proverbs in the field of anger and 19 mappings were found in these proverbs. It was also attempted to list the most frequent mappings in both languages, discretely and separately. Along with mapping, the most frequent source domains were also identified and introduced to determine which speakers of these two languages were most likely to use the mapping and source domains to express anger metaphorically. In Farsi, it was found that mapping "anger is fire" and in Turkish, mapping "anger is ignorance / ignorance" were the most frequent. Regarding the source domains, the most frequent ones used to conceptualize anger are the "light and dark" source domains in the Persian language, and the "human / human body" in the Turkish language, respectively, and the frequency of occurrence was in each of the progenitors. Performed Analyses suggest that although some speakers of the two languages use a single cultural pattern to produce anger metaphor, cultural differences also appear to produce different mappings. Frame Semantics was first proposed by Charles Fillmore (1982), and it states that word meaning is constructed within a system of knowledge deeply rooted in the socio-cultural experiences of humans. In this theory, the conception of 'Frame' is deemed to be an approach towards semantic analysis of natural languages. "Verbs”, as the most important construction of the languages, are presented in the utmost states and occurrence of the events and they play an important role in semantic change. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of Frame Semantics in Lori Mamasani and to provide the semantic frames of certain verbs of this dialect. The data in this study consists of 32 verbs out of 128 verbs collected from Lori Mamasani which were examined through descriptive-analytical approach. Analyzing the semantic frames of these verbs, our findings suggest that there are significant differences between the semantic frames of these verbs with their corresponding verbs in the standard Persian. We argue that these differences originate from social and individual experiences of societies. These verbs, in their utility range, have more meaning inferences and more concepts compared to the standard Persian. In other words, they have undergone semantic variation and they have lost their meaning components in the standard Persian over time. Manuscript profile

The stories, lullabies, and proverbs of a region reflect the purest and deepest emotions, the most subtle thoughts and ideas and the realities of a society. One of characteristics of proverbs is the use of common and familiar words, such as animals’ names, plants, fruits, body parts and colors in referential concepts as well as non-referential and metaphorical ones, which are often with aim of highlighting a positive or negative semantic feature in them and attracting audience to the importance of the subject. The purpose of this study is to investigate the semantic molecules of name of high-frequent animals in proverbs of the Sirjani dialect in terms of semantic molecules. For this purpose, after collecting 950 proverbs of Sirjani dialect, 405 proverbs containing the names of different types of animals were extracted and proverbs of highly-frequent animals with cognitive-semantic approach were studied and several proverbs were mentioned from each animal. The results of data analysis showed that three domestic animals, donkey, dog and camel, respectively, are more frequent and more widely used than other domestic and wild animals in the proverbs. In terms of thematic denotation and function, social subjects are more used than another subjects in the proverbs. Manuscript profile

Understanding conceptual relations is essential for considering and conveying meaning, because when examining different types of meaning, it seeks to go beyond the level of linguistic construction and determines the exact meaning of a word in and outside the contexts. This research aims to determine the type and frequency of conceptual relations between Gilaki words used in the folklore tales of Guilan, showing the prevailing semantic relationships among them. For this purpose, 62 stories from the book Folklore Tales of Guilan were analyzed. This research was descriptive-analytical. Conceptual relations including hyponymy, synonymy, polysemy, homonymy, homography, member-collection, meronymy, portion-mass, and repetition were analyzed and the frequency of each was calculated. The results showed that among the types of lexical relations, the occurrence frequency of the lexical relation of hyponymy had the highest frequency with 84%. After the lexical relation of hyponymy, the frequency of occurrence of each of the conceptual relations was determined in the following order: meronymy 6%, portion-mass 3%, synonym 2%, homonymy 1%, member-collection 1%, polysemy 1%, homography 1 %, and repetition 1%. Moreover, between Gilaki words in this variety of language, semantic lexical relations of semantic opposition, semantic contrast and collocation have not been used. Manuscript profile

One of the most important evidences of judgments in judicial courts is reference to the testimony of witness, since slips and mistakes have been and continue to be with humans. Therefore, in the issue of testimony, sometimes people take their personal motives, interests and intentions into account and based on that, they testify. Accordingly, there is a need for legal linguistics to distinguish between true and false testimony and other failures in testimony. Therefore, the following research, focusing on the two aforementioned principles, explains the legal and criminal aspects of the role of semantics and discourse analysis in order to improve judicial testimony in the courts through a case study. The results of the research show that Hyland’s model monitors the words and expressions used in witness testimony but Grice’s principle is based on phrases and sentences of witness testimony. So Hyland’s model is more effective than Grice’s principle in distinguishing true from false testimony. The Hyland’s principle, by means of its meta-discourse tools, determines the witnesses’ knowledge of the events and challenges and shortcomings of the witnesses’ statements, based on which the courts can distinguish true from false testimony. Studying of the semantic evolution of the Quranic vocabulary from the pre-Islamic era to the later periods is a necessity task and it is not possible to understand the meaning of the verses without it. One of the most influential elements in the meaning of the Quranic terms is their relation to each other in the text, especially the syntagmatic relations of the words. In this research, the focus of the "Ahl synthesis has been discussed. The "Ahl" syntheses are used only in the form of additional combinations in the Qur'an and, in terms of syntactic structure, have been synthesized with the appearance and the pronoun. Among the names of appearances, the term " Alktab " and the names of the places are most synthesized. Also, the names of the Prophets have the most synthesis as the reference to the pronouns associated with the Ahl. According to Qur'anic verses, "Sabīl" is considered as the most frequent term conveying "Path" or "Way" in the context of revelation. Due to different usages in the wide range of textual contexts, the term "Sabīl" has attracted the attention of Muslim lexicographers and exegetes. That's why the specialists in "al-Wujūh wa al-Naẓā'ir" have mentioned 14 meanings for "Sabīl" in the Holy Qur'an. However, Muslim scholars have had not any information about the process of meaning-formation of "Sabīl", its semantic components and the features of this type of way in the context of revelation. Applying historical and cultural semantic approaches, this study attempts to explain the accurate meaning of "Sabīl" at the time of revelation. According to this study, the homonymous root "SBL" has two different origins: on the one hand, the root is formed by adding the performative /S/ to the stem "BL", and on the other hand, it is formed by adding the affirmative /L/ to the stem "SB". Moreover, the present research proves that the term "Sabīl" had a couple of unique features in Qur'anic Arabic: (1) Private roads that were not definite, transparent and visible. (2) Roads which could not be passed through on without experienced guides. Manuscript profile

.The Semantic Study of Swearing in the Quran A Historical, Cultural Approach Aḥ mad Pākatchī Abstract The concept of swearing in the Quran has always drawn the Quran scholars’ attention. Meanwhile, the frequently mentioned clause of “lā Uqsimu” which literally means “I won’t swear” has been a challenging issue for both the commentators and Arabic grammarians. The explanations offered for the meaning of this negative clause used in the Quran, are hard to be accepted and need a sort of revision. The method applied in this study, as appropriate to the subject, is a mixture of historical and cultural semantics. The most significant conclusion of the present study is that swearing in the culture of the Arabs at the time of the revelation, like other cultures, included a negative connotation and had a meaning close to the cursing. Thus, the Arabic clause of “lā Uqsimu” in the Quran, should be literally translated; that is with negative meaning which is required by its apparent negative structure. Manuscript profile

Phenomenology, as a mental and philosophical trend, is considered as a starting point for many contemporary methods of literary criticism in a way that reader-centered critics used it as their base of theories. Hersol, the renowned phenomenologist, bases his theory on the assumption that the world phenomena are interpreted based on reader's understanding and impressions. The essence of phenomena is explored based on this assumption. Exploration of such reality requires possessing a new and innovative approach toward the phenomena. With reference to such approach, phenomena's existence of objects elevates to its realization of signs and evidence hence through the interaction with Semio-Semantics turns into a meaningful phenomenon. Upon his perfection in poetry, GheysarAminpoor, as an influential poet, reached his introversion and individual revelation in such a way that Macro epistemological thoughts became his main concerns. Aminpoor's phenomenological view generated his interpretational insight. Phenomena turned into signs in his exploring eyes. And these signs were carved into his mind to emerge into existential phenomena under the interpretation of Semio-Semantics relations. This article attempts to study the interaction between phenomenal view as a reader-centered criticism and Semio-Semantics orientation, and tries to analyze Gheysar Aminpoor's phenomenal poems so that via a new and dynamic approach, a new interpretation of his poems is obtained. The word Iblis has been used eleven times in the Holy Quran. The word opposite to the devil is "king", which is used in the plural of "angels". The opposition between the devil and the realm is in creation and in action. The reason for the expulsion of the devil from the divine door is disobedience to God's command, which appears in the guise of arrogance and jealousy. The Holy Qur'an describes the disobedience of the devil, not prostrating to Adam (peace be upon him). The word for the devil is the devil. The semantic domain of Iblis is limited to one meaning and it is a special name for an evil creature who did not prostrate to Adam (peace be upon him). The word devil has different meanings, which are: devil, jinn, human soldiers and jinn devil, the common name for every evil being, the heads of hypocrites, snakes, idols and the cause of disease. The semantic aspect of Iblis for the word Satan has the most verses, and Satan is more referred to as Iblis due to the predominance of usage. Pride and obsession are the substitute words of Satan in the Holy Quran. Rebel, humiliator of man, inviter to the fire of hell, obvious enemy, devoid of goodness, etc. are the characteristics of the devil. Rejection of Satan's guardianship, abstinence from forbidden food, supplication, true faith and trust, sincerity, remembrance of God, divine grace and mercy, are obstacles to Satan's influence and domination over man. The discourses in adjacent to their former semiotics and in interaction with other semiotics has found independent entity with a new semantic sense. This research demonstrates new approaches in aspects of communication to open new horizon of meanings for the reader. The researcher investigates the semiotics and their approach in semantic based on “Ganj-e-Baqdadi” anecdote. The research aims to investigate the semiotics not only in singular way but also in relation to collection of other semiotics causing meaning construction in communication meanwhile, the possibility and accessibility of character of the communication in the anecdote is considered. The key point is that semiotics in an interactive process lead to meaning creation, artistic generation and eloquence. This research has answered to the following questions . This research strongly aims to investigate in which circumstance of discourse the process of evolution and chaos in discourse of this anecdote happen? How the discourse change does result in dynamic meanings? Which discourse-base system outperform considering the mythological-based of it? What is the basis of mystical semiotics change ?Considering mystical based of Masnavi-Maanavi, which discourse approach represents it more? The research results in the impossibility of study on meaning regardless of its application in discourse which meaning creation flow is shaped there. Then after, it creates evolution in semantics. Generally speaking, this research aims to investigate different schools of discourse. Manuscript profile

There are some different approaches regarding semantics of divine attributes that try to speak about God meaninfully. Some of them are included of anthropomorphicism, negativism, symbolic language, analogical predicate, functional language and gradual predicate. From them, gradual predicate approach has more capabilities. Each of these approaches have their own function regarding recognizing divine attributes, but none of them are able to render the most complete knowledge about divine complicated attributes which can be contact and speak with such a God meaningfully. Combinatory approach, by using the merits of mentioned approaches and avoiding of their defects, tries to get more acceptable and logical understanding of divine attributesa and ways to speak with God. In fact, this approach tries to speak with divine attributes by considering dividing them into metaphysical and non-metaphysical (namely Humanly attributes), and dividing the latter ones into moral and non-moral (like Power and Knowledge) attributes, and also through dividing divine attributes to positive and negative, attributes of the essence and acts, and based on these divisions and people’s different stages of understanding and plurality of lingueistic function. Since people’s uniderstanding are not the same as researches and philosophers or gnostics which shows more necessity of combinatory approach. Manuscript profile

Abstract       It is one of the important and new sciences in the field of stylistic literature. In this knowledge, the appropriateness between the word and the meaning, the textual coherence and the harmony of the meaning of the word with the structure of the phrases are determined. In this knowledge, the science of meanings and expression is studied. Addressing this very important issue can to some extent reveal the Qur'an's view of this dimension of collective life and invite human beings to live without violence and terror. Therefore, the present article, using the knowledge of stylistics and also relying on descriptive-analytical method, intends to examine the style of verses from the Qur'an in which the category of assassination and murder is discussed. A stylistic study of this type of verses shows that the theological style of those divine verses that are related to terror, in terms of verbal and semantic structure as well as syntactic structure of words, is an avoidance approach and These verses are mentioned in the form of metaphor and irony, and most of the sentences are addressed to the reader in order to convey the state of violence and seriousness in the fight against terrorism to the reader. In general, the style of speech and  The general orientation of the words in all the verses related to murder and assassination is such that it shows that murder and assassination are reprehensible and should not be done.
