Semantics of "Barakah" in Qur'an

Abstract :
Bliss (Barekat) is originally the stability, durability and affluence of good which is increasing and developing. The derivatives of this word in Quran are Tabarak, Barakna, Mobarak, Burak and Barakat meaning blessed. The word Tabarak has been used eight times for God and once for his name. Semantic range of the derivations of Barekat include blessing in the generation, in the land, the prophets` charities, the rain, God`s house and God`s book. The factors causing the bliss are faith, virtue, obeying God, almsgiving and etc. The obstacles of bliss are infidelity, denying God`s book and his prophets, squander and not paying Zakat.
