From old days, bridges had a role beyond a passage and were considered as public spaces with function of accepting activities. The purpose of this article is to describe a model for studying bridges as an urban space and also studying those types of bridges, which are urban spaces. The article seeks the answer for the following research questions focusing on i) which types of the bridges have the qualities to be an urban space, and ii) how to reinforce the role of the bridge as the urban space. Responding to the research questions, we have classified the bridges and introduced the types that have the capability of being an urban space and defined urban space and the factors and indicators affecting it through the descriptive-analytical research method. Data were collected through documentation and survey and information analysis by meta-analysis method, summarization and ANP. The studies carried out in the research indicated that the bridges can be of various uses other than being only a pathway. Therefore, the bridge’s definition and typology will be studied and the elements and criteria affecting the assessment of the urban space quality were introduced. The three characteristics of the bridges were such as pathway to cross the obstacles, and characterized joint through connection between two sides. Thus, a general definition for a bridge can be, “bridge is a structure constructed to cross the physical obstacles and as a joint connects two sides together”. Also, according to the urban development scholars' views, the most prominent components of urban space are physical, functional, semantic, contextual and environmental elements. Subsequently, it can be said that the urban space is a part of the physical space of the cities having a history of being old and active and belongs to the public where social activities are mostly happening. Also, the criteria including visual pleasure ability, diversity of use, public accessibility, physical configuration, richness of sense, sociability, diversity of users, human scale, readability, animation, relation with nature, robustness, environmental control, comfort, safety and health, publicness and proportion with the cultural and historical contexts are, respectively the most applicable of the urban space. Therefore, the role of the bridge as an urban space was reinforced, in addition to their three essential functions, the bridges must possess the criteria of an urban space, too. Therefore, a bridge as an urban space is “a part of the physical space of cities created for crossing the obstacles and connecting two sides together and as a joint has a history of being aged and active and possessed by the public”. Studying the criteria of the urban space regarding the types of the bridges which were more capable of turning into an urban space indicated that the functional factors are more effective in strengthening the bridges’ roles as the urban spaces compared with the other criteria. According to the study constructing bridge-museum, bridge-market and bridge-recreation areas are of the successful samples that can change and reinforce the role of the bridges as an urban space. The total number of researches and articles reviewed was 79 articles, researches, dissertations and theses, which were analyzed using Cm2 and Maxq software. data was analyzed, and the results of the research showed that the developments related to the reduction of mortality in the reference countries were quite slow and gradual, the process of which took nearly two hundred to two hundred and fifty years, but the process was not uniform in all countries, but the major Western countries have gone through these stages that lead to the formation of population theorists. At the end of this period, due to the transfer of experiences and scientific knowledge in the field of health from reference countries to other countries such as Iran, a much shorter period of time has passed. For example, in our country, Iran, since the beginning of the developments of prevention, treatment and doing things related to mortality control, a period of 60 to 65 years has happened. The findings of the research showed that in Iran, the process of changes from underlying and contagious diseases has alternately aligned with lifestyle changes, and today the most important causes of death are related to diseases, but cardiovascular diseases have the most The percentage that is directly related to the lifestyle and further confirming this analysis, after accidents and accidents is ranked second, and the share of men's deaths in all cases, which causes the difference between the life expectancy of women and men between two Three years have changed in favor of women Manuscript profile

The purpose of this paper is Meta-analysis of audit Committee independence and financial reporting quality. In spite of general expectation for positive relationship between audit committee independence and financial reporting quality, the empirical researches reveal several inconsistence conclusions. So, we conduct a meta-analysis of the association between audit independence and financial reporting quality in period of year 2000 to 2013. Although we cannot reliably aggregate results across studies in a statistical sense because of inconsistencies in defining FRQ and the absence of replication studies, quantitative review techniques after considering homogeneity analysis (by within-group Q and between-group Q) yield three conclusions: first the use of different FRQ measures in the AC independence literature explains the variation in results across studies. Second there is no relationship between audit committee independence and “earnings management and quality score”. Third there is positive relationship between audit committee independence and “accrual quality, abnormal return, restatement and fraud”. Manuscript profile

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) were developed with the aim of increasing the comparability of financial reporting, enabling market participants to make better economic decisions and improving the efficiency of the capital market. But after more than a decade of research on the effects of adopting these standards, there is still no definite conclusion about the extent of achieving this goal, and experimental studies report contradictory results. In order to obtain objective evidence regarding the real effects of adopting International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) based on the experience of countries that have adopted these standards, in this research, a comprehensive analysis of studies that examine the effects of adopting International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on comparability Financial reporting has been done. Based on the analysis of 243 observations, with an independent sample of 2,544,582 company-years, meta-analysis and meta-regression results indicate that the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) generally has a positive and significant effect on the comparability of financial reporting. but the size of the effect of adopting these standards depends on several factors such as the method of mandatory or voluntary acceptance, the legal structure of the countries and the executive guarantee of accounting and auditing of the countries under review.          Considering the novelty of studies related to Internet addiction in Iran, the investigation andidentification of psychological factors predicting this phenomenon is evident as a research gap; Therefore, thepresent study was conducted with the aimed to identifying the most important psychological antecedents ofInternet addiction through a meta-analytical research procedure. The method of conducting the research is aquantitative meta-analysis. In the process of systematic review, 195 articles were identified from 2002 to 2022,and by carefully studying the text of Persian articles by university professors and experts, 108 articles wereidentified. Life satisfaction (ES, -0.65), problem-oriented coping (ES, -0.45), difficulty in regulating emotions(ES, 0.45), interpersonal sensitivity (ES, 0.45), sensation seeking (ES, 42 0.0), feeling lonely (ES, 0.41),depression (ES, 0.39), anxiety (ES, 0.38), psychological capital (ES, -0.37), depression (ES, 0.36) , stress (ES,0.35) and emotional intelligence (ES, -0.35) were identified as the strongest antecedents, respectively. Due to theheterogeneity in the studies, studies with validity (ES, -0.15) had a larger effect size than studies withoutvalidation (ES, 0.06). Based on the results, the manner of using internet can be related to psychologicalcharacteristics of the internet users. It is expected that these findings not only improve the knowledge of thisfield, but also support protective factors and removing risky behaviors. Additionally, it can be used as a helpfultool in intervention programs in this field.  Manuscript profile

Background and objective: Population growth and unplanned urban development has led to increase the risk of disaster in urban areas. Achievement to knowledge and ways to deal with disasters, have attracted attention of residents and researchers to natural disaster management. The number and variety of published scientific papers in the field of natural disasters is one of the reliable proofs for showing the trend of researchers to this field. The objective of this research is meta-analyzing the published papers in Persian scientific journals. Material and Methodogy: For meta-analyzing of theoretical approach of Natural Disaster Management in Iran, initially 29 journals are selected. Then 454 papers are selected among these journals. These papers have been published from 2002 to 2016. Finally, for analyzing the papers, the analyzing criteria such as research methodology, sampling method and planning model and approach are determined using the expert’s opinion. Findings: The map of studies distribution showed that Tehran, Khorasan-e-Razavi, and Azerbaijan-e-sharghi provinces have been considered in a lot of papers. Results showed that physical approach is the dominant approach in the studies which is a weakness in papers. Also disregarding the scientific principle of research methodology such as absence of sampling, reliability, and validity is the other weakness of studies. Discussion and Conclusion: Considering the dominant approach in the previous studies, studying and using the community-based and organizational approaches in the future researches is proposed. The policies of scientific journals in publishing applied papers is led to aggregation of these papers in the journals. So it is proposed due to importance of theoretical and fundamental studies and identifying indicators in the field of disaster management, scientific journals would have special attention to theoretical papers in this context and providing the condition to presentation of more theoretical and fundamental papers in this subject. Objective: Coach leadership style can be defined as the process of influencing the individual and group trying to achieve goals. Democratic styles are behaviors that allow the athlete to participate in group decisions. The authoritarian style, on the other hand, involves the coach making independent decisions based on his personal authority. Athlete satisfaction is considered as a consequence or achievement of the coach's work in leadership research. The present study aims to quantitatively combine the results of research conducted in this field in the country.Methodology: The statistical population of the present study includes all articles on the relationship between democratic leadership style and athlete satisfaction and in order to collect the data needed for meta-analysis, a coding form was used. Using meta-analysis method and comprehensive meta-analysis software (CMA2), 7 articles were selected and reviewed. This study was performed using the effect size calculation technique. In this way, the statistical tests used in the hypotheses were analyzed after becoming the effect size. The statistical population of the present study included all articles on the relationship between democratic leadership style and athlete satisfaction. In this meta-analysis, the results of researches that have met the necessary conditions in terms of methodology have been studied. That is, articles and criteria within the treasure have been used. These criteria in the research are: 1 research has been done in Iran. 2 In the relevant research, leadership style and athletes' satisfaction have been used as an independent or dependent variable. 3 The research must have provided the necessary information for the practical extraction of the effect size (relationship strength). Therefore, the number of researches selected for meta-analysis is seven. Results: The results of meta-analysis showed that in all studies, democratic leadership style and satisfaction were effective, which software output with an average effect size of 0.25 confirms this issue and this amount of effect size is less than average. The funnel diagram also showed that there is a publication bias in the studies, which indicates that some studies have not been published or researchers do not have access to some articles or study results. The relationship between democratic leadership style and athlete satisfaction is below average. About 25% of the calculated effects are in the lower middle class (with an average effect size of 0.25).Conclusion: The findings of this meta-analysis showed that democratic leadership style and athlete satisfaction have an effect with an average effect size of 0.25. Undoubtedly, job stress plays a key role in the decline and burnout of the human resources in organizations. One problem associated with our contemporary modern life is the appearance of job stress in terms of the work environment. Meta-analysis creates a better understanding of the similarities and dissimilarities of the previous studies conducted in this field and hence allows for a more comprehensive perspective on the research subject. In the present study, the previous studies on the job stress have been classified in terms of such criteria as statistical society, the involved variables, and type of job, and finally 12 studies have been selected as the statistical society of the research. In our proposed meta-analysis, for investigation of the magnitude of the effect of the independent variables on the job stress, the criteria for the effect size of coefficients r and d of Cohen have been used. Our findings show that the variables for age (d = 0.49), gender (d = 0.56), and job experience (d = 0.35) have an intermediate importance in the amount of job stress. Besides, variables for organizational atmosphere (d = 0.62), organizational justice (d = 0.98), work ethic (d = 0.95), and job satisfaction (d = 0.8), each of which used in a separate study, have great importance in determination of the amount of job stress.     Manuscript profile

Social support as a relevant and effective variable on academic performance has been investigated in many studies, and the different and sometimes contradictory results of these studies highlight the necessity of a meta-analytical study. This study aimed to combine the findings of 12 years of Iranian and international investigations which had studied the relationship between social support and academic performance. The statistical population included Iranian and internationally published and available studies related to the subject from 2009-2021. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 55 studies and 101 effect sizes were selected. Finally, after sensitivity analysis and removal of extreme effect sizes, 79 effect sizes were analyzed. The results showed that the combined effect size was 0.189 for the fixed model and 0.220 for the random model. In this study, gender and age were studied as qualitative and quantitative moderator variables, respectively. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the effect sizes of the relationship between social support and academic performance based on gender. The meta-regression results also showed that by increasing the age mean, the effect size decreases to a very small significant amount and a small part of the total heterogeneity is explained by the age mean of the initial studies. As a result, based on obtained effect size, social support is effective in increasing students' academic performance. Manuscript profile

Research shows that one of the individual characteristics of learners that affects the educational interventions effectiveness is the learning style of learners. Learning styles is one of the interesting research fields in behavioral sciences; Therefore, due to the increasing amount of research in the learning styles field, it is necessary to conduct combined research in this field. This research was carried out by the meta-analysis method with the aim of numerically combining the quantitative results of researches in this field. The research population is all post-graduate theses and articles in the field of the relationship between learning styles and academic achievement indicators in the country between 1371 and 1401 years. From the initial 189 studies, 98 cases were included in the meta-analysis based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and 384 effect sizes were obtained from these studies. The results showed that the summary effect size of learning styles with academic achievement was .19, although subsequent analyzes showed that the effect size is different in learning styles various. The largest effect size is related to Jackson's style profile and the smallest effect size is related to Fleming's styles with academic achievement indicators. The implications of this meta-analysis show the relatively low impact of learning styles on academic achievement and emphasize the need to investigate the role of mediating variables in the relationship between these two variables. Pathological view of controversial issues such as the regional sphere in which different sciences and attitudes are involved in its conceptual, functional, and executive foundations is very important. For this purpose, the present study aims to have a meta-analysis of the pathological view in internal documentary studies based on the level of the region. Work process at the level of documents such as upstream documents and reports, some published and unpublished drafts, provincial cover projects, among doctoral dissertations and master theses and articles (scientific research, extension science, and journal conference) relied on two phases; The first stage is based on the method of documentary methods and collection of primary and secondary sources and documents (categorized damages) and the second stage is based on meta-analysis methods, content analysis, and grounded theory (obvious and hidden case damages). The obtained results show that in the first stage, the most important results of categorized damages have an emphasis on document approach, method and procedure, area management, economic issues, concepts and ideas, practical field and implementation, and in the second stage among the 54 types of research in the field of the nature of research with the highest frequency with 42 cases with applied research, in the field of research method with the highest frequency with 25 cases with survey-field, in the field of data collection techniques with the highest frequency equal to 27 cases were resulted based on a questionnaire. Also, 31 cases had the reliability of measuring instruments, of which 27 cases had an average between 0.7 and 0.9. Also, 43 of them had research hypotheses or questions, and finally, considering the use of the majority of research from an analytical framework, the application of the nature of research in the use of theories shows that most research studies, or 48 of them, are only based on theory testing and the rest of them have been a kind of theory testing supported by providing models and suggestions. Thus they can be included in the theory-based research; however, they did not fully have the policy and principles of fundamental and theoretical research. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study is to meta-analyze the political and social participation of women in the last 4 decades. The aim of this study was to quantitatively and qualitatively combine the results of research conducted in socio-political participation to determine the factors affecting political and social participation and the intensity of the impact of each of them on these variables through the intensity coefficient. The impact should be calculated and the most effective factors on participation should be identified. Therefore, this study has been carried out using the documentary research method, by taking notes from the published study in this field. Findings indicated that the variables of political effectiveness, feeling of legal inequality, political awareness, social and economic status, self-confidence, age, mass media, stereotypes, women's employment, marital status, feeling of gender inequality, sociability, Traditional beliefs and literacy levels are considered as more effective barriers to women's social and political participation, respectively. As a result, these barriers have led to the low presence of women in limited cases, and by removing these barriers and changing misconceptions and the proper education and socialization of women and girls from an early age, they must be promoted to high political positions and Socially prepared. The aim of this study was to investigate the immigrants’ social and cultural adjustment factors in urban environments of Iran using meta-analysis method. The document research method is text-content analysis. The statistical population of the study is research published in scientific journals in Iran for a period of 22 years from 1999 to 2022, related to the social and cultural adjustment of immigrants; among them, 25 studies were analyzed from the indexed scientific databases of Jihad Daneshgahi, specialized journals of NoorMags and the database of the country's publications. In the analytical part, first, the statistical presuppositions of expectation bias and homogeneity of the studies were evaluated and then the hypotheses were examined. The results show that five sets of factors including social, economic, cultural, demographic, and psychological were identified in this study, each of which has been studied using several variables. The confidence interval reported by this set of factors ranges from the confidence interval (-0.039 and 0.215) which is related to economic factors rather than the high confidence interval, scope (0.275 to 0.614) as well as the positive value of Z2 number. It can be concluded that demographic factors with an impact factor of 0.510 have the highest adaptability and psychological factors with a minimum level of impact factor with a value of 0.293 have the least impact on the process of social and cultural adjustment of immigrants. Besides, all factors with at least 95% Confidence Interval have a positive effect on immigrants’ social and cultural adjustment. Manuscript profile

the aim of the present research was to conduct a meta-analysis examining the effectiveness of life skills training on the mental health of school children and university students. Twenty seven Iranian studies from 2001 to 2012 comprising of 3089 participants were used in the meta-analysis. Data was analyzed using standardized mean difference effect size method or Cohen’s d (1988) for fixed effect model. Findings indicated that the mean of mixed-model of effect size for fixed effect model and for random effect model were significant, respectively 1.834 and 3.117(P<0.001). Since the effect sizes were heterogeneous, moderating variables were searched. The results indicated that in terms of research designs and gender there were no significant differences between effect sizes across the studies. However, in terms of age and number of life skills training there were significant differences between effect sizes across the studies. Manuscript profile

،The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy of group interventions and compare the efficacy of behavioral group therapy, cognitive group therapy and cognitive-behavioral group therapy in social anxiety disorder by using meta-analysis method based on the Hunter and  Schmidt approach. Forty seven studies which were accepted methodologically and conducted within the last 20 years in Iran were included in the meta-analysis. The checklist of meta-analysis with 1743 participants and 51 effect sizes were used. The results indicated that the effect size of the group interventions on social anxiety disorder was 0.62, and this was true of children, adolescents and adults groups. The effect size of behavioral group therapy, cognitive group therapy, and cognitive-behavioral group therapy were 0.59, 0.69, and 0.68, respectively. This study suggested that the effect size of group interventions on social anxiety disorder was large, and this was true of all age groups. Although all group therapies were effective, the efficacy of cognitive group therapy and cognitive-behavioral group therapy were more than behavioral group therapy.   Manuscript profile

All published studies in Iran from 1990 to 2017 were collected. Based on the quantitative findings of 21 selected studies, 48 effect size were obtained according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings indicated that the mean of the total effect of the studies were -0.78 for the fixed effects model and -0.85for the random effects, both significant at 0.001. As the effect sizes were heterogeneous, gender and research method and education were examined as the mediating variables. The results of two independent t test indicated that the effect size of gender difference was not significant, but the effect size for experimental research was significantly higher than the effect size for correlational research. Also, the effect size for meta-cognitive strategies was more than the effect size for cognitive strategies and resource management. The findings suggest that self-regulated learning strategies significantly reduce students’ procrastination Manuscript profile

he aim of the present research was the meta-analysis of the epidemiological studies of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Iranian adults. Data collected from 10 studies conducted from 2001-2011, included 5028 participants and was analyzed using binomial effect size display and inverse variance for fixed effect model (Wolf, 1986; Hooman, 2008). Findings revealed that the mixed model of the effect was 0.029, which was reduced to 0.028 by omitting two of the research studies. The general prevalence of ADHD after eliminating two of the studies and using sensitivity analysis was 6.76%. The prevalence rate of ADHD in males and females after excluding one of the research studies and using sensitivity analysis were 3.94% and 1.93%, respectively. Further meta-analysis showed that the prevalence of attention deficit, hyperactivity – impulsivity and combined types of ADHD were 4.72%, 3.54% and 3.84%, respectively. It can be concluded that the proportion of ADHD in females and males and the prevalence of ADHD types in Iranian adults are in accordance with many other research studies. Manuscript profile

Purpose: The present research aims to conduct meta-analysis of the effect of information disclosure on market reaction. In order to integrate the results of different researches and identify the determinants of relations between information disclosure and market reaction, we used meta-analysis methodology as a quantitative statistical method.Methodology: In order to implement the meta-analysis method, using software CMA from the website of foreign journals (published articles related to research variables from 1990 to 2020) and the website of domestic scientific research journals (published articles related to research variables from 1990 to 2020) to They were identified and collected as a statistical population of the research and finally 86 studies have been analyzed by systematic elimination method.Findings: The results of studies conducted in the mentioned period and around this relationship, using I2 and Q tests indicate that most of these studies are heterogeneous. In order to identify the cause of this heterogeneity, by dividing the research based on different criteria for measuring information disclosure and market reaction and calculating statistics within the group, we found that these different measurement criteria used in research is one of the contradictory factors in research results. In the following study, it was observed that there is no significant relationship between audit components and market reaction, while in contrast, between the types of voluntary and mandatory disclosure, and corporate governance components with market reaction, a significant relationship was observed.Originality / Value: Based on the findings of the present research, financial market activists and investors should pay more serious attention to the way of information disclosure and mandatory disclosure tools and composition of shareholders in their analysis, but audit components are a special guide for choosing the best capital option. It does not offer financial market participants. Manuscript profile

From the beginning of the development of communication knowledge, the interdisciplinarity and fragmentation of this science has been the central issue of thinkers in this field, and so far, many efforts have been made to explain the interdisciplinary or even post-disciplinary nature of this science. The basic subject of this article is the study of the theoretical traditions of communication in Iran. The main question of this article is: What are the most and most important theoretical traditions used in doctoral dissertations in the field of communication sciences at Allameh Tabatabai University during the last decade? To answer this question, the theoretical framework of the "seven theoretical traditions of communication" from the perspective of Robert Craig (2007) was used. Also, using the meta-analysis method, 56 doctoral theses (all theses) have been examined. One of the important results of this research is that the most used theoretical traditions in Iran include: 1- socio-cultural tradition (30%) 2- critical tradition (25%) 3- social psychology tradition (24%) 4- tradition Semiotics (14%) - phenomenological tradition (3%) 6- cybernetic tradition (3%) and 7- rhetorical tradition (1%). Also, another result of this research is that 47% of doctoral theses of this university have made direct reference to theories, 5% have used theories as a research framework, and 48% have moved towards combining or building a new theory. As a result, it can be said that in the doctoral theses of Allameh University communication theoretical traditions are rarely mentioned. Manuscript profile

The main purpose of this research is to review and critique research on generation gap. In this research, after initial refinement of the articles, 40 scientific-research papers related to the topic of generation and gap generation through the Marigans Scientific Database and the Noormags database were selected and reviewed in the areas of theoretical framework, research methodology and findings and were compared. The results of this study show that in these studies, the poverty of native theorizing, the prevalence of survey methods and the absence of combinatorial methods, scattering and inconsistency in the indexing of generational distance types, are different from the concepts of distance,  gap and generational discontinuity. In addition, the lack of precise operational definitions for these concepts, and the lack of accurate measurement of variables, and the lack of separation of the value and normative dimensions of generational distance, have confounded their findings. The research also suffers from the generalization of the results obtained without considering the dimensions and domains under study, the lack of a common age criterion in the separation of first, second and third generation generations, and the lack of attention to the validity of the tools used. In general, significant differences and inconsistencies in the results can confuse future researchers and misinterpretations of results by policymakers Manuscript profile

This paper studies theories of international relations from the philosophy of science perspective based on two types of evaluation. The first type is through meta-analysis, that is, how international relations are evaluated through ontology, epistemology and methodology. In fact, the “whyness” and “howness” of the emergence and retrieval of thoughts in the field of international relations are at the center of this meta-analysis. The second type is based on the theoretical foundations which include questions such as “What are the peculiarities of international relations in these theories? What are the components of international relations based on different theories of the field? What is the implied discourse in different theories of international relations? What relation is between theory and action? What are the impacts and consequences of theories of international relations in terms of methodology?” Accordingly, this paper utilizes a descriptive-analytical method within the interdisciplinary topics of international relations and philosophy of science to explore the above mentioned issues.
