        This study aimed the relationship between the community of inquiry and the outcomes of learning among students in an e-learning setting, and the statistical population of this study included students of MehrAlborz Higher Education Institute and the University of Tehran in 3 fields of study. The data were collected online through the Survey of Garrison et al., 2000 and then analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. Also, to evaluate the achievement of students' learning outcomes, the weighted average of their first two semesters was considered as a criterion. The validity of the questionnaire was estimated based on the validity of the content, and its reliability was based on Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.83. The results of data analysis showed that in terms of cognitive presence and social presence, students of MehrAlborz Higher Education Institute are at a higher level compared to the University of Tehran, but no difference was observed between the two groups in terms of teaching attendance. On the other hand, there is a positive and significant relationship between cognitive, social, and teaching presence with the students' learning outcomes at the Mehralborz Higher Education Institute. Finally, cognitive, presence has the highest correlation with the students' learning outcomes. Manuscript profile

        2 - Explanation of retention rates based on the types of student interaction in the e-learning context

        The aim of this study was to explain the retention rate based on the types of students ' interaction in e-learning.The current research is descriptive and applied in terms of purpose and  population of this study is composed of all engineering students of Mehr Alborz Institute of Higher Education who were selected according to Cochran Formula 232 for sample.The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, whose validity was confirmed after the experts ' survey and its reliability was estimated by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.86.  The results showed that the highest retention rate was related to IT engineering (0.86 %) Moreover, the lowest retention rate was related to e-commerce Engineering (0.18%). In general, the rate of retention at the Mehr Alborz Higher Education Institute was 0.72%.. The results showed that the highest and lowest retention rates were related to ICT-Information Systems Management and E-Commerce Engineering respectively and among the various interactions in this context, student interaction with assistants was of the highest importance Manuscript profile

        Higher education has faced many challenges over the decades such as globalization, information and communication technology, social-political developments, lifelong learning, and the knowledge-based society.But these challenges play a key role in today's societies by creating opportunities for knowledge creation. The main purpose of this article is to identify the factors of knowledge creation in online higher education centers and institutes. This study was conducted in the framework of an exploratory qualitative approach.14 academic and knowledgeable experts on knowledge creation and e-learning were selected by purposeful sampling strategy and interviewed in a semi-structured manner. Finally, for each of the categories a title containing all the codes of that class was selected. As a result of this study, 16 components were identified in four dimensions of managerial, organizational, individual and technological factors.These factors in management; management factors (management style and hierarchy), empowerment system, system thinking, social interaction and participation, virtual learning management systems-in organizational dimension; organizational culture, organizational structure , Knowledge network, repositories, and knowledge resources-in the technology dimension; e-learning environment , network technology, information technology infrastructure, e-learning tools and in the individual dimension; Problem solving is individual learning ), creativity and innovation.         The present study was conducted to review the accreditation criteria of higher education institutions systematically. The research population was 341 articles in the databases and documents of reputable e-learning accreditation institutions at the international level. To analyse the data, open and axial coding was used using QSR and NVIvo software, and in order to check the reliability of the research data, the research colleagues used a validation strategy. The results showed that the most critical factors and criteria for accreditation in higher education institutions in the e-learning environment are: factors related to governance, planning, research, e-learning-learning process, e-learning environment support, technology and psychological factors related to stakeholders. It has been considered in many studies.The results of the present study help policy makers and planners in the field of higher education in the e-learning environment to use the identified components on the one hand to prioritize the need for an institution for accreditation in their strategic plans and on the other hand by monitoring and evaluating e-learning institutions. , Identify challenges and strive to improve quality.         The purpose of this research is to investigate researches relatedto the blended teaching-learning approach in Iranian universities. The research method is applied, and data collection was conducted using a qualitative approach through a systematic review method. For this purpose, resources were searched from databases(sid, noormags, magiran, civilica, ganj.irandoc) by using related keywords.Then the found documens were analyzed based on Sandlowski and Barroso seven-step model.Based on a comprehensive and systematic view, the research results indicate that the previous researches on the subject of the blended teaching-learning system in Iranian universities have examined the three dimensions of the input(competencies related to students with 5 subdimensions, competencies related to instructors with 2subdimensions), the process(teaching-learning process with 3subdimensions) and the ouput(student-related output with 3subdimensions, instructor-related output with 2subdimensions) as the main dimensions of this approach.Based on the findings, the role of university management and leadership has been neglecte in the studied researches,while it is one of the main dimentions of the teaching-learning system.The results of the present research can be a model for university managers and instructors to effectively implement a blended approach in the teaching-learning system,and a guide for researchers to conduct further research in order to eliminate research deficiencies in this field.
