The current study aimed to looking for the impact of individual, organizational and cultural variables in the adoption of information technology among teachers in the form of causal modeling. This study is placed among the causal modeling, which contains the path analysis and structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the study was one district high school teachers in the city of Urmia with the 260 persons. Based on Krejcie and Morgan table 150 persons of them were selected by cluster sampling method. Therefore they responded the questionnaire which consists of these subscales: decide to use, expected performance, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions, individualism/ collectivism, uncertainty avoidance and power distance, and masculinity/ femininity. To analyze the data, structural equation modeling based on partial least squares (PLS) and one sample t test was used to check the status of cultural and organizational components. Findings showed performance and effort expectancy, and social influence had positive and significant effect on the decision to use information technology. Facilitating conditions and masculinity/ femininity had positive effect on use behavior. Also the effects of uncertainty avoidance and power distance were negative and significant. But the effect of individualism/ collectivism on these variables was not significant. Finally the tested model predicted 27% of variance in intention to computer use and 19% of use behavior. Universities, using the new technologies and identifying the appropriate factors, can create a positive institutional image to obtain the higher degrees of progress. So, the present study was performed to identify the dimensions of the effective information technology on creating the appropriate institutional image. The research method was descriptive survey. Statistical population was all students of the Universities in Golestan province. By stratified random sampling method (based on university branch), 379 students were selected by Cochran Formula. The researcher made questionnaire was used to gather the data. Data analysis was performed by SPSS software and statistical techniques including descriptive and inferential statistics (including factor analysis with exploratory approach). Findings showed from the viewpoint of students, the factors of information technology which affect the creation of an appropriate university image had 7 components which were: Internet & media, smart systems, university website, educational software, automation, physical environment, supervisory systems. Among these components, the Internet & media had the most influence (10.459). Manuscript profile

The present study aimed to explore the relationship between excessive Internet use and academic performance among students by considering the mediating role of perceived stress. This study was descriptive with correlational design. The statistical population comprised all B.A. students of the University of Kashan in the 2015-16 academic year. Stratified multi-stage sampling based on gender was used to select 288 students (218 females and 70 males). The data collection instruments included Young's Internet addiction test and Cohen’s perceived stress scale. In addition, students’ Grade Point Average (GPA) was considered as the criterion for their academic performance. Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Hierarchical Regression Analysis were used to analyze the data. The results indicated that Internet use had a statistically significant negative relationship with students’ academic performance and can inversely predict it. Moreover, hierarchical regression analysis showed the mediating role of perceived stress in the relationship between Internet use and academic performance. Finding implicitly indicated that excessive Internet use has not only direct adverse health consequences but also indirect negative effects on students’ academic performance through perceived stress. The findings yield significant insights for education practitioners, health specialists, and policy makers in making interventions regarding the excessive and problematic use of the Internet among students. According to Krejcie and Morgan table, 252 individuals were selected using simple random sampling method. Data were collected through three standard questionnaires including: information and communication technology, psychological empowerment and adaptive performance questionnaire. SPSS18 and lisrel8.5 software's were used to analyses the data. Hypotheses were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the use of ICT and psychological empowerment. There was positive and significant relationship between the use of ICT and adaptive performance. There was a positive and significant relationship between the use of psychological empowerment and adaptive performance. Moreover, results showed that psychological empowerment had a mediating role in relationship between the use ICT and adaptive performance. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study is to represent a model for managing the educational social network. The methodology of this research is applied in terms of purpose, is descriptive-correlational (non-experimental) in terms of procedure, and is cross-sectional in terms of time. The statistical population consists of 480 senior masters from Ministry of Education in 2015. The statistical sample was calculated 205 people using Cochran Formula and selected through random sampling method. Data collection was done by the researcher-made questionnaire comprising 67 questions. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the university elites point of view after the t test and correlation coefficient were applied. The factor analysis method of the main components confirmed the construct validity of the questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was also confirmed by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α=0.854). To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics including Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t test and factor analysis were used. The final model was extracted from the AMOS software using structural equations of maximum likelihood method. The results showed that the standard coefficients between the hidden variables of the management model and the obvious variables of the social network structure is 0.85 and the obvious variables of the learning construct is 0.87 which showed high importance of these variables in the formation of the model and the standard coefficient between the variables of the model and the evident structural variables management is 0.40 which indicates the acceptability of these variables. These coefficients are significant with a confidence level of P<0.001. The fitting component of the model depicted that all indicators are in the desired domain. Therefore, the hypothesized model is fitted with empirical data, and the research model is thus confirmed. Manuscript profile

The present study has been designed to identify the constructive components of virtual education in the high schools of the cities of Tehran province. This research was practical and quantitative, which was a cross-sectional survey type. The statistical population included all employees of the department of education in Tehran province. A stratified random sampling method was used to select the representative sample group as well as increasing the accuracy of the measurements, during which 181 employees were selected as a sample. The measuring instrument of research was a researcher-made questionnaire and its reliability according to Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated as 0.97. Data analysis was carried out in two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics. The participants' response was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis using SPSS software. The results of factor analysis indicated that the components of virtual training consist of 10 factors and 141 indicators, as follows: The first factor is educational planning with 58 indicators, the second factor is favorable learning with 21 indicators, the third factor is relationship with 14 indicators, the fourth factor is productivity with 11 indicators, the fifth factor is virtual environment with 9 indicators, the sixth factor is feedback with 5 indicators, the seventh factor is educational technology with 6 indicators, the eighth factor is rational thinking with 5 indicators, the ninth factor is curriculum with 5 indicators, and the tenth factor is educational justice with 7 indicators. In total, these indicators and factors explain about 45% of the total variance of virtual training. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the components of social anxiety and students' enthusiasm toward computers. The research method was descriptive-correlational type and was applied in terms of purpose and carried out by field method. The statistical population of the study was 2780 students of Islamic Azad University, Ramsar Branch. The sample size was determined as 338 people based on the Krejcie and Morgan table according to the size of the population. Subjects were selected randomly by stratified sampling method based on gender. To collect the data of the research, the Heinssen et al. questionnaire of enthusiasm toward computers and the Watson & Friend social anxiety questionnaire were used. The reliability of the two questionnaires was calculated by Cronbach's alpha method and was confirmed by alpha coefficient of 0.78 and 0.80, respectively. Pearson correlation test and linear regression analysis were used to analyze the research hypothesis using SPSS software. The findings of this research showed that there was a significant relationship between social anxiety components and students’ enthusiasm toward computers (r = 0.58, P = 0.000) at 95% probability level. Also, both components of social anxiety (social avoidance and distress, and fear of negative evaluation) explained 33.6% of the variance of students' enthusiasm toward computers (R2 = 0.336).
