The impact of a free press on development may never have been properly assessed. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to calculate such an effect. However, the purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of media freedom on the Human Development Index (HDI) in a group of 21 countries in Southwest Asia in the annual period from 2002 to 2020. To investigate and measure this relationship, the dynamic panel data econometrics method and the generalized two-stage system torque (SGMM) approach have been used. The results of the specified model show that media freedom has a positive and significant effect on the human development index and with one unit increase in the media freedom index, the human development index increases by 4.290 units. Also, other variables of this study, such as GDP per capita and the number of Internet users, increase the human development index by one percent to 2.290 and 6.101 units, respectively, and therefore a positive and significant relationship for both variables was obtained. In addition, the variable of the corruption control index has a negative and significant effect on the human development index and with one unit increase in the corruption control index, the human development index will decrease by 0.006 units Manuscript profile

Introduction: Due to the threat of Covid-19 to the public health of the world, the World Health Organization, in order to show international interest in coordinating international responses to this disease, raised the public health emergency and after that, the global issue of Covid-19 was declared. In a highly interconnected world with strong ties between countries, the effects of disease outbreaks go beyond mortality and morbidity. Because with the reduction of economic activities, the performance of the global supply chain will also be disrupted. Considering the importance of this issue and the destructive consequences of the spread of this virus on the global economy, it is necessary to take a step to reduce this problem. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the long-term effects of the human development index and its components (life expectancy, literacy, per capita income, urbanization and employment) on deaths caused by Corona in selected developing countries (30 developing countries). with a relatively high human development index) in the period of 2019-2022. Methods: For this purpose, FMOLS and DOLS methods have been used. Results: The results indicate that the human development index and its components (life expectancy, literacy, per capita income, urbanization and employment) have a negative and significant effect on the death rate of Corona in selected developing countries in the long term. Conclusion: Since the human development index has a negative and significant effect on corona deaths in selected developing countries in the long term, Therefore, the improvement of health, social and economic indicators can reduce the attenuation of Corona in societies. Therefore, it is necessary for governments to make interventions in the sectors of society, especially economy, education and security, in order to strengthen reforms in the health sector. In this research, it has been investigated the relationship of educational cost of government and household with the human development of Iran in 1990-2015. Methodology of this research is documentary and secondary data analysis. It has been derived an amount of HDI from the UNDP site, data concerning the government’s costs on the education, health, welfare and social security and economic affairs have been derived from the Budget Acts, and household cost data from the statistical calendar. Data analysis and modeling have been generalized by the method of GMM and production function of Cobb-Douglas, and they have been estimated by data from 1990 to 2015. Findings show that governmental costs on the education and health, rural household education and urban household health have a positive effect on HDI, government costs on the welfare and economic affairs and urban household education cost have a negative effect on HDI and rural household health cost has not any effect on HDI. AbstractThe purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of economic development and human development on road traffic casualties in two groups of high- and middle-income countries. The data in this research is obtained from the World Bank Development Indicators (WDI) set for two groups of high- and middle-income countries classified according to the United Nations report, in the period 2000-2021. Due to the fact that the data used in this research is heterogeneous, Padroni's co-integration test was used. The results of this test indicate that the variables of the model are related to each other in the long run. The results of the estimation of the model by the method of generalized moments show that in the set of selected countries with high income, the effect of the variables of GDP, unemployment rate and human development index on road casualties was negative and significant, while in the set of selected countries with middle income the effect of the variables Gross domestic product per capita and unemployment rate have a positive and significant effect on road casualties, and a negative and significant effect of the human development index has been obtained. Human development was introduced in the 1990s after the failure of one-dimensional measurements based on per capita income. Human development is a multi-dimensional indicator, defined by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as a process of expanding human choices and increasing the standard of living prosperity. It measures human development in three dimensions: education, health and living standards. Relying on this approach, the provinces of the country were measured and ranked. The research method is descriptive-analytic and based on the purpose of the applied type. Housing indices are another variable that has been evaluated in this study in the provinces of the country. The maps of Mauritius, Topsis, Vicore, Copland and Distribution coefficient of the developmental status of the provinces were analyzed using spatial statistics methods. Spatial correlation of the indicators was shown on the map. The results indicate the concentration of development (human, housing) in the central regions of the country and the low areas corresponding to the peripheral and border regions of the country. In the index Tehran, Alborz and Yazd provinces are superior and the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan, Kurdistan and North Khorasan have the lowest points in this index. In the housing indices, Tehran, Alborz and Qom are also the best and the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and South Khorasan have the lowest levels. The present study aims to determine the relationship between social and economic indices of human development at the micro level and value orientation of residents of Siahkel and Lahijan. The main question is: What is the relationship between the social and economic status of individuals and their value orientation? What is meant by value orientation is: Which values are more popular? Rational, universalistic, democratic and scientific values, or irrational, particularistic, non-democratic, and fatalistic values? Indices of independent variable research with the human development approach include: life expectancy, financial status, occupation, education, and Internet usage. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method and data collection is done with survey-analytical method. Measurement tool is a researcher made questionnaire and its completion method is in-person interview. The multi-stage random sampling method was used for sampling and Cochran's formula was used for determining the sample size the sample with a sample size of 255 people. Factor analysis was used to measure the validity of the questionnaire and Cronbach's alpha test was used for reliability. Data analysis shows that: The mean score of the value orientation of respondents in the range (0-204) is equal to 152 with a standard deviation of 20 points indicates a high value orientation score. There is a significant relationship between the level of education, financial status, activity status, feeling of safety, life expectancy, internet usage with the dependent variable. The mean difference test showed that the mean of the value orientation score has a significant difference based on gender. Manuscript profile

Improving the human development index is the best mechanism for empowering people to achieve the goal of raising their living standards through human capabilities. Promoting the quality of the life of a community is a fundamental change in the economic, educational, and health variables. The present study seeks to examine the status of the provinces of the country in terms of the human development index for the years 2005, 2010, and 2015? The method of this research is descriptive-analytic and is an applied research type. The average human development index for provinces for 2005, 2010, and 2015 is 0.660, 0.650, and 0.627 respectively. Provinces that have a favorable status in the human development index are often located in the center of the country. Overall, the human development index decreases as the center of the country reaches the border regions. It should be noted that the provincial education index is the strong point of the human development index of the provinces. In sum, there is a strong inequality between the provinces of the country and this inequality in the index of economic well being is more than two indicators of education and health. The findings of this research show that provinces with low human development index are consistent with the border provinces of the country. Manuscript profile

In the broadest sense, sustainability means the ability to maintain or support a process continuously over time. To maintain the sustainability and sustainable development of society, we need to meet the demands of today's generation without compromising the needs of future generations. Sustainability has three dimensions: economic, social and environmental, the latter having the most decisive weight. In the 2000s and 2010s, multiple experimental studies were conducted on sustainability employing an experimental model based on the Kuznets curve. Moreover, in recent years, the two concepts of human development and sustainability have been extensively addressed in the development literature. Various studies have considered human beings as a substantial factor in the development of different societies. The composite index of human development has various dimensions that may affect sustainability and specifically environmental sustainability. Plus, exorbitant oil revenues in oil-producing and exporting countries have had a significant impact on human development in these countries. Therefore, we can classify these countries into three groups of oil-rich countries with high human development, oil-rich countries with medium human development and oil-rich countries with low human development. In this paper, to investigate the impact of the human development index in 35 major oil-exporting countries around the globe, we applied the panel data method and Kuznets function for the data from 2010 to 2019. The result of the econometric model estimation demonstrates that the greater the human development index, the higher the environmental sustainability in these countries. Manuscript profile

Abstract Since the development of institutions, agencies and financial markets of each country can have significant effects on income distribution of that country. The aim of this study is to examine the relation between the financial development and inequality in developed and developing countries  by using generalized least square method(GLS) and generalized method of moments(GMM) and related theories, studied by entering variables like unemployment rate, the average years of schooling indices of human development, government size and per capita during the period 2000 to 2013. Thus, according to the ranking report of the United Nations Human Development(UNDP) in 2014, 35 countries with very high human development index and 32 countries with high and medium human development index have been selected as developed and developing countries, respectively, which these regions have had full data. The estimation results have been obtained using Stata14 and Eviews9. Empirical results obtained for developed countries, showed that the square of financial development is part of the descending inverted U curve. For developing countries, the estimation result of GLS approved the inverted U curve for the variables financial development and per capita income, while the GMM results income with income inequality, respectively. Finally, according to the above discussion, it can be concluded that for the developed and developing countries, the increase of financial institutions will reduce the income inequality. Abstract Developmental policies of the UN with an aim to reach constant development and human development protect people against the elements which endanger the human’s values and wellbeing. Meanwhile, specialized organizations affiliated to the UN and some subsets of this organization play an important role in execution of developmental policies of the UN in under-development countries. In this research we study the role of these organizations in improving the level of human development in two countries of Iran and South Africa. In this paper, we focus on evaluation of the level of human development, according to the annual report of the UN on human development and the indexes which the UN determined for this evaluation. These indexes include: rate of per capita production, life expectancy and educational and health status. Life standards of citizens are considered good tools for studying the development and welfare status according to the developmental policies of the UN in Iran and South Africa.     Manuscript profile

The purpose of development is to nurture human’s abilities. In order to achieve development, Increase of revenue is a tool not an end. On the other hand, having a long healthy and innovative life is the ultimate goal. The best way to advance the stable development is to use human development. The main purpose of conducting this analytic- descriptive research is to determine the ranking order of the provinces of Iran, especially Kurdistan, in the years of 1385 and 1390. In order to eliminate the differentiation of scaling among the used criteria, using the technique of indices have been proposed. Results show that although our country has had minor improvements in the development of human resources goals, but the results of year 1390 shows that there is not a significant change in the ranking order of the undeveloped provinces compared to five years earlier. Combinatory index of human development shows that in Kurdistan province, human development is in an inappropriate condition so that Kurdistan was placed 29th and 30th in the ranking table in years of 1385 and 1390 respectively. We can conclude that the ranking order during these years has not had significant progress. Manuscript profile

Today, the accepted model for the development of a country, as in the past, does not focus only on the economy, and in the UN model of human development, the development of the country depends on the development and excellence of the people of that society. At the same time, they should be leaders in three dimensions of health, knowledge, and economy. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a model for performance appraisal that considers the internal aspect of the organization and the country at the same time. In this study, after extracting the indicators from the UN Human Development Report. We examined books, scientific articles, their validity by fuzzy Delphi method and the interaction of the obtained indicators with each other and their effect on organizational agility by ISM method. The result of the research shows that the indicators are social insurance. Employees, education level, labor force share of the organization's profit, purchasing power of the organization's employees are independent in nature, indicators, ergonomics Job satisfaction, in-service training, increasing skills and adaptability, rate, literacy (UNESCO definition), attention to innovation, technology quality, R&D performance rate, financial profitability, nature of linkage, staff welfare program indicators, Attention to the environment and sustainable, autonomous development and employment rate indicators are dependent on exports. Also, the number of agility dependence (15) on the model indicates the positive effect of the HDI performance evaluation model on agility. Manuscript profile
