        Purpose: The present study examined the rate of burnout in librarians of  University of Isfahan and its relationship with demographic factors. Methodology: The population consists of 61 librarians of University of Isfahan, the census method was used and questionnaire was delivered to all of them and 57 copies were returned. Findings: The findings showed that burnout in librarians in Personal Performance (frequency and intensity) is at average level and emotional exhaustion and depersonalization is low. The findings in demographic characteristics also showed that there is relationship between job burnout and sex (frequency of emotional exhaustion), degree (intensity of depersonalization), field of study (intensity and frequency of emotional exhaustion), and there is no relationship between job burnout and age, years of service, and position.  Conclusions: Considering the results, the officials and managers should consider the measurements to consider burnout in librarians who have an important duty to help teachers and students Manuscript profile

        Purpose: This research aimed to determine the relationship between Islamic religiosity and organizational trust among librarians. Methodology: research method was survey, and the population consisted of 181 librarians working in university libraries in East and west Azarbaijan. The questionnaires used in the survey was azarbaijani reliogisity questionnaire (1382) and Organizational Trust of ellonen et al (2008). 160 questionnaires were completed. Findings: Results showed that religiosity has a direct, positive and strong relationship with organizational trust. In other words, with increasing the person's religiosity, his/her trust will increase. Results: The findings of this research showed that religiosity has positive effect on organizational trust, therefore, the religion is a strong potential to increase the trust, therefore, this factor must be considered by the institutions and organizations.         Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between communication skills and personal traits among librarians of Mazandaran public libraries. Methodology: The population census is used for the study, which included all librarians of Mazandaran public libraries. The survey method was used and the 18-item questionnaire of Barton communication skills was used to collect required data. In analyzing the data, according to the research hypotheses, Pearson correlation coefficient and chi-square test was used. Findings: The findings show that there is no significant between the communication skills with age, gender, and work experience of librarians. Also, significant relationship exists between the Communication skill and level and degree of education for librarians. Conclusion: The field of education has a very important role in the development of communication skills and graduates of information science and knowledge in universities accounting courses such as principles of reference, and General Psychology internship spend that teaches them how to act in communications.         Purpose: The objective of this applied study is to identify the relationship between librarians' job satisfaction and users' satisfaction of public libraries in Zanjan province. Methodology: This survey was carried out by a researcher-made questionnaire. All 123 librarians were examined. Multistage cluster sampling method was chosen to sample from fifty thousand users, so 384 questionnaires were distributed. Statistical analysis methods such as Pearson, Spearman, etc were used and the data were analyzed by SPSS software. Findings: The results showed that the level of librarians' job satisfaction in the aspect of the relationship between governance and supervision, social status, extracurricular activities and wages and salary, with job satisfaction approved with 99 percents confidence. In the aspect of organizational culture and the relationship between librarians' job satisfaction and users' satisfaction, the hypothesis did not approved. So librarians' job satisfaction is at a low level in relation to the five components of this study (organizational culture, governance and supervision, training and extracurricular activities, content and status of jobs, wages and salary system) and the librarians' job satisfaction has little or no effect on the users satisfaction. Conclusions: Librarians' job satisfaction is at a low level in relation to the five components of this study and the librarians' job satisfaction has little or no effect on the library users' satisfaction.   Manuscript profile

        Porpuse: The aim of this study is investigation on readiness of Iranian university libraries to provide electronic public services. According to the research gap regarding the use of information and communication technology to provide public services in these centers indicate the necessity of this study. Method: Research method is survey, and the population is university libraries under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and ones of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education census and University Library of Azad provincial capitals, which have been studied, purposeful sampling. This cross - functional survey has used four questionnaires that are researcher made. Results: With regarding public services provided from any library in the three categories (reference, information and loan) results showed that the acquaintance of users, administrators and academic librarians ' electronic public services " has been at a low level (2/98) and attitudes towards these groups to provide these services generally has been moderate (3/78). Acquaintance of and attitudes towards the provision of reference services by these groups in academic libraries had more electronic public services. Conclusions: Non of Iranian university libraries provide high level electronic public services.         Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and knowledge sharing of inside and outside of the organization among the librarians of the public libraries of Shiraz Metodology: The research method is mixed (quantitative and qualitative) and using survey. The statistical population of the study included all librarians working in public libraries of Shiraz (195 persons) and sampling was not carried out due to population size limitation and all of them were considered as the statistical population. The analyzes were done using Amos Graphics, SPSS16, and descriptive and inferential statistics including frequency and Pearson correlation coefficient test . Results: According to assessment of  12 percent of respondents, the status of organizational culture and the sharing of knowledge is appropriate and according to assessment of %48 is inappropriate.         Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between cultural intelligence and knowledge management in public libraries of the Khuzestan province. Method: This study was conducted by descriptive survey method. The research population consists of librarians in public libraries in Khuzestan that were 230 totally and sample of 145 librarians were determined based on Krejcie-Morgan table by stratified random sampling method. In order to measure each of the variables, a separate questionnaire was used. To measure cultural intelligence four factors  Vndayn and stigma (Van Dyne & Ang, 2004) questionnaire  was used. Knowledge management instrument is a questionnaire that extracted from the questionnaire of Khargani and Selseleh research (1385) with some changes to meet the objectives of this study. To investigate the questions, simple and multiple regression and Pearson correlation coefficients were used. Findings: The findings showed a positive correlation between cultural intelligence and knowledge management.  Meanwhile, of cultural intelligence dimensions (cognitive, meta-cognitive, motivational and behavioral) , two dimensions of meta cognitive and cognitive had positive and significant relationship with knowledge management.         Purpose: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between resistance to change and the productivity of the librarians at Tehran branches of the Islamic Azad University. Methodology: The methodology of this study was descriptive and correlation. Participants included 145 librarians at 44 library locations of Islamic Azad University. The instrument used in data gathering was a questionnaire. In order to analyze the data, descriptive and analytical methods plus the SPSS 22 had been used. 145 questionnaires were handed out but only 135 of them were received and examined. Findings: “Ability” as one of the dimensions of “librarians’ productivity” was higher than the other elements (with a mean of 3.6) and motivation was the lowest of all (with the mean of 2.1). Moreover, organizational level with the mean of 2.9 had the highest percentage of librarians’ resistance to change and individual level with the mean of 2.6 was the lowest of such resistance. The findings showed that at the Islamic Azad University libraries of Tehran, the individual and group level of resistance to change tended towards the average point and the organizational level of resistance had a tendency to move above the average point. Conclusion: At the libraries of Tehran’s Islamic Azad University branches, the ability of the librarians was at a high level but they had little motivation to enhance their productivity. The high level of organizational resistance to change showed the lack of acceptance of organizational changes by the librarians. Overall, the findings indicated there was tendency to move above the average. In other words, an increase in librarians’ resistance to change lead to reduction in their productivity and vice-versa.         Purpose: The Purpose of this research was to investigate relationship between management style and knowledge sharing in Tehran libraries. Methodology: This research used survey method. Data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire that was including 3 sections (Knowledge sharing; tendency to knowledge sharing; and Management styles, according to Likert theory). The population of this study is 495 librarians and managers from 7 libraries including; National Library of I.R. of Iran, Library, Document and Information Center of Research and Educational Planning Organization, and centeral libraries of Sharif University of Technology, Tehran University of Medical Siences and Health Services, Tarbiat Modares University, University of Tehran, Science and Research Branch of the Islamic Azad University. Proportional sampling was used to determine the sample size which formulated using Cochran formula. Finally 209 out of 219 questionnaires were returned. Descriptive and analytical methods (ANOVA, and Pearson correlation (were used to answer questions and examine the hypothesis. Findings: Findings indicated that benevolent authoritative style well describes the managerial style of libraries. In other hand, the amount of knowledge sharing in libraries was very low, but librarians will to share knowledge with their colleagues was relatively good. Findings also indicated that there is significant relationship between all indicators of the management style and knowledge sharing in libraries. Results: Librarians and administrators trust each other and feeling of responsibility for achieving the goals of the organization can be seen. Also knowledge and experience between them is distributed and absorbed. It seems to enhance the knowledge sharing among the staff, improving the management style is to need. Manuscript profile

The study population consisted of librarians working in public libraries Alborz Province have formed a number of 107 people. The sample was determined using a sample of 84 patients who were randomly selected. The data collection tool was questionnaire and its reliability was confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient 917/0.         Purpose: The paper investigates the impact of social capital and social entrepreneurship in the academic libraries of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in Tehran. Method: This study is an analytical survey. Data collection is conducted through a  questionnaire which was distributed among 140 librarians with a bachelor's degree or higher in the academic libraries of 13 universities affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Descriptive and inferential statistic methods were used in this study overall multivariate regression. Findings: Results showed the levels of social capital (39/51) and social entrepreneurship (41/99) are in the average level in research libraries and social capital had a positive impact on social entrepreneurship. Among the indicators of social capital (Trust, relationships, reciprocity, capacity, diversity and structure), all except diversity  had positive impact on social entrepreneurship. Conclusions: According to the results of the study, considering the social capital and social entrepreneurship (Identification of the opportunities and using of it ), is very effective in the relationship between scientific societies, information exchange in libraries, and scientific networks.         Purpose: the purpose of this study is comparative study quality of life for public librarians in Iran and Malaysia during the years 1385-1390. Methodology: Survey-analytics method has been used. 100 public librarians Malaysia and 100 public librarians Iran has been selected by  Random Sampling. World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL) (summarized form with 26 questions) has been used and sent to librarians in Iran and Malaysia by Email (English version for librarians Malaysia). Questions were summarized to general area quality of life and 24 slight areas that include 6 factors: physically, psychologically, independent levels, social communications, environmental communications and intellectual interests. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics average and standard deviation and analytical statistics, Pearson correlation test and T test by SPSS. Findings: findings showed that the lowest factor quality of life in Iran is  “independent levels” (average 6/35), in Malaysia is “intellectual interests” (average 5/22) and the highest factor quality of life in Iran is “intellectual interests” (average 17/65) and in Malaysia is “psychologically” (average 33/47). Total factors quality of life have high average in Malaysia's librarians except factors "intellectual interests" and "social communications" (average in Malaysia respectively 5/22 and 5/32), (average in Malaysia respectively 17/65 and 8/30). Results: conclusions of this research showed that generally quality of life during the years 1385-1390 in public librarians Malaysia is higher than public librarians Iran. The lowest subsets quality of life in Iran were “feeling of security”, “financing”, “accessing to information” and “social protection”. As much, this relationship is appropriately established and effectively expanded, equally the librarian and the library will be more successful in achieving their goals. The purpose of this study is to determine components of communication skills and their relationship with demographic characteristics in librarians of Isfahan University and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. This study is descriptive survey and data collection tool, is standardized questionnaires of Queendom communication skills.  Methods: Statistical population includes 117 librarians of the academic library in Isfahan University and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. The sample consists of 117 librarians, and method of sampling is the census. Validity and reliability of questionnaires was confirmed by face and content validity and coefficient of Cronbachs Alpha(r=0/86). Methods of data collection, was personal.Data analyzed by SPSS16 software and two levels of descriptive (Mean and SD) and inferential statistics (T-test, Manova test and LSD). Findings: The findings showed that mean of communication skills and components in librarians of Isfahan University and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences were more than average. The firmly and vision components in male librarians of Isfahan University and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences was further than women. Setting emotions in the age group 38 to 47 years was more than the librarians in the age group 18 to 37 years. Emotion setting in librarian with diploma degree was less than that of the librarians, with BA degree. Results: Survey of components of communication skills showed that the mean of  components were more than average and there is significant relationship between the firmly and vision components with gender and there is also significant relationship between emotion setting with age and degree.         Purpose: The present study was conducted to investigate the understanding of organizational self image of the  librarians of Allameh Tabataba’i University library services. Methodology : This study is an alytical survey. Participants of this study were 49 librarians of Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU). Data was collected through the researcher-made questionnaire based on Lee Blang & Negvin organizational self image model. The validity of the questionnaire was content validity and its reliability was estimated through using Cronbach’s alpha. The obtained reliability was %78. Results: Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and one sample T test. SPSS software was used to analyze data. The average self image of librarians was 3.38. The average of librarians self image in respect to identity, fame, service quality, physical environment, and staff behavior are 3.38, 3.52, 3.29, 3.26, 3.86 respectively.         Purpose: This study aimed to survey the status and facilities of the public libraries in Hamedan province (Iran)  in providing services peripheral to users from the from the point of view of librarians. Methodology: Survey method was descriptive. Data was collected by a researcher- made questionnaire . The population included all the 132 librarians in 79 public libraries (urban and rural regions) of Hamedan province. Total of 132 questionnaires were distributed and 108 of them were returned. For the purpose of data analysis, descriptive statistics was used. Findings: Findings indicated that in %95.4 of these public libraries, various types of services peripheral were offered. Painting Contest, internet services, storytelling and book reading contest of the services peripheralwere provided in the libraries. Masnavi and Shahnameh reading sessions, film screenings and plays rarely were held in libraries. Results: The results showed that despite of the policy to provide services peripheral , libraries were not very successful in providing these services to attract and encourage library users . %56.6 of the population believed that the efforts taken by the library organization and management for the optimal performance of these services was in moderate level and %51 of librarians described it at a minimum level. The most important barriers to the services peripheral provision were lack of: funds, qualified staff to manage these programs, user acceptance, authorities’ cooperation and adequate knowledge and attitude, librarians’ cooperation and enthusiasm, and not having enough time to run these services.  Overall, in order to provide services peripheral, the status and facilities in public libraries (space, funding, equipment, and trained and experienced personnel) were low.         The aim of this study is the survey of the curriculum syllabus in the technician courses of librarianship and information sciences in higher education of Iran from the viewpoint of university instructors, students of last semester, postgraduates and their masters. Statistical sampling includes 147 university instructors, students of last semester, postgraduates and their masters which are selected statistically, and four researcher-designed questionnaires are administered to the participants. The appropriate method of this research is survey, and descriptive statistics are used for data analysis. The findings of the study show that curriculum in the technician courses of librarianship requires to be reviewed. Therefore, adding Courses such as Introduction to Internet and Databases, Electronic Journals, Training (2), Librarianship Morality and Information Sciences as well as a change in the title and syllabus of some courses such as, Introduction to Congress and Dewey Classification, Collection (2), and integration of fundamental lessons of information sciences with library and librarianship, etc is effective to improve the curriculum in the technician courses of librarianship and information sciences.         This study analyzes the emotional intelligence of women librarians of Islamic Azad university libraries in 13th region. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to do that. After its completion, the obtained data were analyzed by statistical tools of TOPSIS technique. By measuring the emotional intelligence of women librarians, it was also ranked in various aspects. Research findings indicate that among other aspects of emotional intelligence, the parts that are relevant to the desire to serve the people, helping others grow, communicating with and influencing others, empathy and understanding others are stronger than other components in women librarians, While the components of self-esteem, self-control, teamwork, emotional self-awareness are seen less and less in women.         Objective:  The purpose of this study was to implement and execute data governance strategies for planning the collection making of information resources in libraries of Islamic Azad University. Method: The research is a descriptive-analytical survey. Statistical population of the research included all of librarians working in Central libraries of Islamic Azad University in 2017 who were 155 librarians. In order to determine sample size, Morgan’s sampling formula was used and 108 individuals were selected as sample. Data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire to measure data governance. The questionnaire’s validity was proved and its reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha equal to 98%. The collected data was analyzed in terms of descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Levene’s test using SPSS ver. 25 and Microsoft Excel. Results: The findings showed that librarians' attitudes toward seven most components: data quality, data usage, data process, data standardization, data integrity, data security and data modeling on resource collection in the central libraries of Islamic Azad University, according to educational level, there is no significant relationship between field of study and work experience (P> 0.05), in some components such as: the use of data in collection according to the field of study and data process and data modeling in collection, according to work experience has a significant relationship(p < 0.05). Conclusion: Results of the study showed that the librarians considered feasibility of implementation and execution of data governance strategies in resources and services planning of the libraries of Islamic Azad University higher than average level (desired level).         Objective: The overall purpose of this study is to identify the status of familiarity and acceptance of the standard of description and access to the source (ARD) by librarians of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization. Method: In terms of purpose, the present study is an applied one that measured the familiarity of 18 librarians working in the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization with RDAs through a questionnaire before and after training and their acceptance of the rules. The validity of the questionnaire was determined by content validity method and its reliability was measured by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Descriptive and inferential statistics have been used to analyze the data. SPSS software was used to analyze the data and the results and findings of the research were presented in the form of tables and graphs (using Excel software). Results: The rate of familiarity of librarians with the meanings of cataloging in pre-training was average (43.65%) and then (23.23%) respectively. But after holding a one-day workshop, their awareness of these concepts changed to moderate (47.62%) and then high (23.81%). In general, librarians have agreed to accept RDA. Conclusion: The readiness and perspective for the acceptance of the rules of description and access to the source (RDA) by the catalogers working in the libraries of the organization is higher than the average level.         Objective: The main purpose of this study is to investigate the level of information literacy of librarians in Kashan public libraries based on the standards of the information literacy model of the American Librarians Association. Methodology: This research is descriptive and used survey method. The Statistical Society of this study is 40 librarians of public libraries in Kashan, all of whom have been studied as a sample. Data collection was done through the distribution of a questionnaire based on the three components of location, evaluation and effective use of information. The validity of the questionnaire was calculated by obtaining the opinions of professors and experts and the Cronbach's alpha value for the reliability of the questionnaire was equal to 0/88 and the data were analyzed at the level of descriptive and inferential statistics using Spss19 software. Resultss: The results of this study show that the average information emplacement skills of librarians of public libraries in Kashan is equal to 2/343 and the average skill of evaluating the information of librarians of public libraries in Kashan is equal to 2/308 and is at a desirable level. Also, the skill of effective use of their information is equal to 2/025, which shows that this skill is undesirable in librarians of Kashan public libraries. Finally, the average information literacy of librarians in public libraries in Kashan was equal to 2/287, which shows that the information literacy status of the sample is at a desirable level. Methods: This research is applied in a descriptive-analytical manner and according to the nature of the goals and research questions, there is a correlation approach. Demographic research all working staff libraries affiliated to the university libraries of Islamic Azad University in Hamadan and Markazi Provinces. The instruments used for data collection was a questionnaire consist of three parts: demographic information, organizational culture questionnaire, a job motivation questionnaire and a job satisfaction questionnaire. Results: The findings of the research showed that among 6 components of organizational culture among the librarians of affiliated libraries the highest average relates to strategy emphasis component.  Among 11 Components of job motivation among the librarians in Hamadan Province the highest average belongs to communication component. Among the librarians of Markazi Province, the highest average relates to the nature of the job.  Among 6 components of job satisfaction among the librarians of affiliated libraries the highest average belongs to direct responsible. Between the variables of the organizational culture and job motivation from the perspective of librarians of academic libraries of Hamadan Province average of organizational culture is more than job motivation, but the organizational culture of librarians of academic libraries of Markazi Province    job motivation. Conclusion: There was a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and job motivation with job satisfaction, as well as with the experience of librarians in related libraries.         Objective: This study investigated the relationship between knowledge leadership and organizational improvement from the viewpoint of librarians of central libraries of state universities of Tehran. Methods: The present study is a descriptive-correlational one. The statistical population consisted of all librarians of central libraries of state universities of Tehran, which totally have 140 people. For data collection, Vitala’s Knowledge Leadership Scale (2004) and Orton Inventory Improvement (2007) were used. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics, statistical tests and SPSS software version 19 were used. Results: The results revealed that knowledge leadership status with the 3.6005% and organizational improvement with 3.5500% among the librarians of the central libraries of state universities of Tehran was higher than the mean. Moreover, there was a positive and significant relationship between knowledge leadership and organizational improvement. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge leadership and organizational improvement of librarians. Multiple regression analysis also showed that knowledge leadership has the potential to predict organizational improvement. Methods: This study was an applied one, using the descriptive survey research and correlation method. Data gathering was done by 2 questionnaires of Karl Albrecht organizational intelligence and Parsons organizational effectiveness. The research population are all employees of the public libraries of Guilan province that are 162 people that 118 of them were selected as the sample size. Data Analysis was done by indicators of descriptive statistics and statistical calculations were carried out by SPSS. Results: The findings show that positive and significant relationship exists between organizational intelligence and it`s components with effectiveness and dimensions. the organizational intelligence of librarian and it`s components is more than the mean. The result of effectiveness shows that except of the latency component that is less than the mean but other components are more than the mean. Conclusion: The findings indicate that organizational intelligence impacts on success and effectiveness of the library. Equal attention to all organizational intelligence elements and organizational effectiveness and organized and coordinated efforts in order to solve work problems, increases salaries, provide facilities and encouragement programs, create satisfying reward system to raise librarian growth and finally will lead to increase in effectiveness in libraries.         Objective The purpose of this study was to design a process model of service value creation for clients through knowledge sharing behavior among academic librarians with emphasis on quantitative approach. Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose, in terms of approach, heuristic, and in terms of data analysis, qualitative-quantitative. In the qualitative phase of the research, 9 experts in the field of knowledge management (including academic professors, university library executives, and highly qualified aristocratic advisors) were selected and interviewed in depth. The theoretical saturation of the researcher continued. In the quantitative phase, all librarians of central academic libraries were considered as the statistical population and 210 of them were selected by simple random sampling method. In the quantitative phase, the main data collection tool was also used. A researcher-made questionnaire containing 42 items was designed based on the conceptual model. In the quantitative phase of the research, SPSS and Lisrel softwares were used to perform descriptive and inferential analyzes. Results: In this study, with the emphasis of managers on the necessity of sharing knowledge, in the degree of understanding and willingness and work commitment of librarians, in order to obtain information in the fields of information technology and communication and organizational culture in the library, in order to investigate librarians ' understanding. In the calculation of some of the processes and organizational practices governing the library and during the findings, it was found that benchmarking has a significant effect on libraries of prestigious internal and external universities in knowledge management. Conclusion:Finally, the research results lead to the design of a service value creation process model for university librarians through knowledge sharing behavior among librarians (based on the paradigm model structure), and the hypothetical model relationships are tested in a large community. Results: The result of this study showed that the most common way to obtain health information is the search on the internet. The most important part of the process to provide health information, is guidance to various sources of access to health information and most of the librarians help to search for health information by members (offering answers from different methods to client’s questions). Kerman Public Library Librarians worked out on health information seeking with the aim of "getting information about methods of treatment ", "getting information about disease", "getting information about Prevention of disease" and "their health status". Also the research found out that specialists and doctors, books, TV, websites and Telegram (social network) with highest average recognized as most important health information channels.  Conclusion: According to positive effecting of health information resources and channels on Librarians health literacy improvement, we can help to increase the health literacy levels and health status levels of people by educating of information resource searching and support of their information seeking behavior.         Objective: This study aimed to determine the current status of organizational climate and occupational burnout among librarians working in public libraries located in Western Azerbaijan province in Iran and the possible relationship between them. Method: This applied study was an analytical survey. Research population included all librarians working in public libraries located in Western Azerbaijan, Iran. For data collection, Climate Quall Questionnaire and Meslesh''s Occupational Burnout Questionnaire were used for measuring organizational climate and occupational burnout, respectively. In descriptive statistical level, mean, SD, tables and charts were used and for testing research hypotheses, correlational test and one-sample t-test were applied. Results: The mean rates of organizational climate and occupational burnout were 176.77±41.31 and 51.35±17.18 from views of the librarians, respectively. The mean rates of librarians'' occupational burnout were not significantly different by their gender, working length, and academic level. The mean rates of organizational climate were not significantly different among librarians by their academic levels. This difference was significant by their working length (p Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between organizational climate and occupational burnout. This study can be considered as one of the first studies on relationship between organizational climate and occupational burnout from views of librarians working in public libraries. Method: The type of research was applied by purpose and the method used was analytical survey. The study population consisted of the managers of the Foundation of Iranian public libraries and the experts of its general administrations in provinces for them, the sample size was determined 428 people. The research tool was a questionnaire used by Mosayebzadeh, Mirhosseini, Abazari, Hariri (2019) which was confirmed by 50 experts in the field of Librarianship and social security using Delphi technique, which also confirms the validity of the questionnaire. Questionnaire reliability was calculated through Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 89%. Finally, the importance of effective factors was studied using structural equation modeling (SEM). Amos software was used to analyze the data. Results: In final model, according to the head of libraries and experts ‘views, the affecting factors consisted of 4 main factors: Social security and capital, Cultural and social activities, leisure time enrichment, promote reading which were confirmed by testing the above hypothesis and can have significant impact on Social security. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that public libraries can take effective steps as social institutions to promote social security. Methods: This investigation is an applied one in terms of purpose which is carried out as a descriptive – analytical survey and two questionnaires were used as the data collection instruments: the Early & Ang's of Cultural Intelligence questionnaire (2007) with the reliability of 0.91 and the Kordnaeij & et al's Entrepreneurial Characteristics questionnaire (2008) with the reliability of 0.94. The population under study consists of all 91 university librarians in Mashhad city who provide services to foreign students in 2015 selected by census method. SPSS software and the descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze data. Results: The Findings indicated that the librarians working in these libraries are in a good status both in terms of cultural intelligence and entrepreneurial characteristics aspects. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between the librarians' cultural intelligence and their entrepreneurial characteristics as well as between each of the four aspects of cultural intelligence including Metacognitive, Cognitive, Motivational and Behavioral aspects and the librarians' entrepreneurial characteristics. Moreover, results indicate that there is no meaningful difference between the level of cultural intelligence of librarians in terms of education, job experience and field of study and also between entrepreneurial characteristics of librarians in terms of employment status.         Objective: This study examined the relationship between talent management and intellectual capital management and quality of working life in the librarians of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch in Tehran. Methods: The study was applied in terms of objective and correlation descriptive in terms of method. The study population included all 40 librarians of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch of Tehran. Three questionnaires of talent management, intellectual capital management, and the quality of working life were used to collect data. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics and Spss 19 software. Results: showed that talent management with mean of 2.33 percent is at the state of less than moderate level, intellectual capital management with mean of 2.42 is in relatively good state, and quality of working life with mean of 2.25 is in relatively moderate level. Conclusion: using Pearson's correlation coefficient, it could be stated that there is a significant positive relationship between talent management and intellectual capital management and quality of working life of librarians. Multiple regression analysis in this research also showed that management of talent and intellectual capital management can predict the quality of working life the librarians. Among the components of talent management, component of selection of talents and retention of talents and among the components of intellectual capital management, structural capital and customer capital had the greatest impact on quality of working of librarians. Data were analyzed by SPSS16. Results: The findings showed that 34% agree that a Scholar librarian can help in educating and responding to student information needs. 29% agree that a Scholar librarian offers services that help design proposals for research projects. 26% agree that a Scholar librarian is trying to provide the students necessary information resources to develop research projects. 34% agree that a Scholar librarian is trying to serve students in selecting and retrieving sources in designing research projects. Also, 26% agree that a Scholar librarian is aware of student problems in drafting proposals for research projects. Conclusion: Librarians as researchers of information resources play an important role in the design of student research projects. Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, for data analysis, has been used for studying the normality of variables, Pearson Correlation Test for studying the relation between variables, One Sample T Test for studying the differences between available and expectable level of variables, using SPSS22 software packages.   Results: the professional qualification status of librarians of public libraries of Mazandaran Province has been assessed with an average of 4.51 higher than medium level and the engineering of culture amongst librarians with the average of 3.63 higher than the medium level. Moreover, the results showed that the professional qualification of librarians have positive and meaningful influences on components of the engineering of culture amongst librarians of public libraries in Mazandaran Province (level of significance/P-value: 0.05, coefficient of determination: R3).    Conclusion: the professional qualification of librarians has positive and meaningful influences on engineering of culture. In words, by increasing the professional qualification in librarians being studied, the level of engineering of culture and its variables are increased.  Manuscript profile

The present study was conducted to investigate the qualifications of university library librarians. Method: The present study is a descriptive-survey research. Data were collected by a questionnaire. Librarians of academic libraries of state universities in Tehran formed the statistical population of this study. For sampling, sequential integrated sampling method was used and 60 questionnaires were distributed among the librarians. Descriptive statistics (mean and frequency) were used to answer the questions. SPSS software was used for descriptive analysis of data. Results: Results showed that managerial competencies with an average (3.4) are moderate, information retrieval competencies with an average of (4.16) in good level. Information technology competencies with an average (3.02) in average condition, research competencies with average (1.17) in very bad level, communication competencies with average (3.87) in average level, and individual and moral competencies with average (3.48) in mediocre are placed. Conclusion: In general, it can be argued that librarians' qualifications are in the average position with an average of 3.18.         Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the level of qualifications of librarians and the level of user satisfaction of libraries of public universities in Tehran. methodology:  In terms of purpose, this research is an applied research that belongs to the category of descriptive correlational research. In order to assess the competence of librarians, a prefabricated questionnaire containing 31 questions was used. User satisfaction was also assessed with a researcher-made questionnaire containing 28 questions   The statistical population of the study consisted of librarians and users of libraries of public universities in Tehran. Librarians' competency and library satisfaction questionnaires were distributed among 60 librarians and 60 users selected by sequential integrated sampling. Descriptive statistics (frequency, mean and percentage) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation test) were used to analyze the data. 25 SPSS software was used to analyze the data. Results: The findings of this study indicate that there is a positive, weak and significant relationship between librarians' managerial competencies and job satisfaction, librarians' information retrieval competencies and user satisfaction, as well as a positive, weak and significant relationship between librarians' communication competencies and user satisfaction. It becomes. Unlike the above competencies, which have a weak relationship with user satisfaction with the library, information technology competence has a positive, meaningful and strong relationship with user satisfaction with the library. In general, the results indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between librarians' competencies and user satisfaction with the library. In other words, as the librarian's qualifications increase, so does the user's satisfaction with the library. Conclusion: In expressing the originality and value of this research, it can be said that there is a significant and positive relationship between user satisfaction with the library and the competencies of librarians. In other words, that there is a direct relationship between these two variables, with increasing the level of competence of librarians, the level of user satisfaction with the library increases and vice versa. The study population consists of 105 librarian universities in the city of Tabriz, where they have not been studied and carried out. Data collection device is a questionnaire consisting of four components and 21 questions. The validity of the questionnaire was verified by experts, and its reliability was measured by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0 / 82. Kolmogorov - Smirnov test and chi - squared tests were used to analyze the data.Results: The general mean of personal information management is librarian 17 / 3. The highest average activity in the librarian’s group is in collection (3 / 45) and the lowest in finding the information (3 / 04). According to chi - square test, gender between men and women (0 /105) level of personal information management level is not significant. Also, there is no significant difference between people with different ages (0/365) of personal information management level. But there is a significant difference between people in different educational levels (0/037) of personal information management.Conclusion: personal information management of librarians is at the middle level. There is no difference between man's personal information management and women, as well as in managing personal information of people with varying ages, but people at different levels of education have different personal information management status. It indicates that the questionnaire has the desired validity. The statistical population consisted of 327 librarians in Khuzestan province in 1398. By proportional attribution sampling method, 175 people were selected and 129 concepts in the field of information skills and 95 concepts in the field of communication skills were selected and then these concepts were implemented by implementing three stages of Delphi technique with reliability. 0.97 and validity (0.90) has been obtainedResults: The descriptive findings of the study showed that the means of communication skills and information skills are equal to 0.98 and 0.86, respectively, at the desired and relatively desirable levels. In this study, the role of three variables of gender, age group, educational status among librarians was discussed and it was found that among these factors, "information and communication skills" among different libraries and educational status, respectively, according to the level of significance /042 and 0.34.Conclusion: The situation of information and communication skills of librarians in public libraries of Ahvaz province is at a relatively good level.         The original aim of study was to survey the factors related to library vandalism from the view of librarians of kermanshah public libraries (KPL). The research was applied and surveyed.The study population was all librarians working in KPL that with Cochran's formula, the sample size was 118. Simple random sampling was used .Three categories of factors "individual", "library" and "social and cultural" were identified as related factors of vandalism in KPL. This theoretical model using structural equation software Amos and confirmatory factor analysis were tested. The most common type of destruction was book scrawling, annotation or writing inside the books. A significant relationship was seen between the Income and the trend to vandalism. The most important factor influencing library vandalism was the lack of information resources needed by clients. Among the variables of cultural and social dimension, the relationship between cultural poverty and Being criminal of Library location was significant.Regarding the dimensions of individual factors, the variable of personality traits(Regression coefficient 0.82) became significant. Among the three factors related to library vandalism, the most important dimension in the present study was the library dimension (Path coefficient 0.74).The installation of Closed-circuit television (CCTV) and theft notification system, identification of vandals and warning them to stay away from violence, close supervision of librarians and guarding libraries, ways to dealwith vandalism were presented. Equipping libraries and training of librarians in order to deal well with users, Holding training workshops to inform users about the criminality of vandalism can be effective in reducing vandalism. The statistical population includes 25 librarians working in the libraries of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. In order to collect information, two questionnaires of cultural intelligence, Erli and Ang (2003), and organizational commitment, Meier and Allen (1991), were used. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to analyze the relationship between variables. Finally, the data were analyzed using SPSS version 22 and Excel software.Results: The findings showed that among the components of cultural intelligence; The strategy component and then the behavior of cultural intelligence have a significant relationship with organizational commitment. But there is no relationship between the components of knowledge and motivation and organizational commitment. Findings also indicate a relationship between librarians' age and work experience and their cultural intelligence and organizational commitment; While there was no relationship between librarians' education and gender with their organizational commitment and cultural intelligence.Conclusion: Considering that there is an undeniable connection between the components of cultural intelligence and the organizational commitment of librarians, it was found that the influence of cultural intelligence on organizational commitment is a task arising from the components of strategy and behavior of cultural intelligence. Cultural intelligence will help librarians, especially library managers, to show appropriate behavior by quickly and correctly understanding different cultural components, therefore strengthening the components of cultural intelligence of librarians is very important and direct communication and It has an effect on the organizational commitment of the librarians of these faculties. This research seeks to investigate the relationship between the categories of individual and organizational skills in time management and the level of familiarity of librarians working in the libraries of medical sciences universities located in Tehran with these components.   Methodology: In this research, the research method was descriptive and applied.The statistical population includes all the librarians of the libraries of Tehran medical sciences universities, 135 of whom were selected using the full population sampling method. In order to collect data, a two-part demographic researcher questionnaire was used to measure personal and organizational time management skills. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation test and single sample t in SPSS19 software. Results: The relationship between individual skills and organizational behavior is positive with a correlation coefficient of 0.192 (p<0.05). In terms of gender and type of university, the use of time management skills did not differ and was almost equal.  Conclusions: The familiarity of librarians with the components of organizational skills was more than individual skills and there was a positive and significant relationship between individual skills of time management and the six dimensions of organizational skills, and in the component of goal setting, the highest relationship and the lowest relationship was seen in delegation. The statistical population of the research included 10 libraries in Tehran, which have several characteristics in common. In this research, it was done by distributing "pre-test" and "post-test" questionnaires among 50 employees working in the repository and archive of the target community. number of fifty "book locator tools" were made and tested for two months, then the frequency distribution was done and analyzed using Excel and EPSS software.Results: The results showed that by replacing the "book locator tool" the problem of confusion of other sources has been solved by 96%. More than 71% of the sample people consider the use of "new device" to be effective in reducing the depreciation of archival materials. More than 87% have stated that by testing the proxy device, it is fast and takes less time (between 30 and 60 seconds). According to 98% of the people in the group, using the locator tool, the amount of "displacement and misarrangement" of archival materials was resolved when restoring and arranging. And 96% have seen the "flashing light" of the locator on the shelf, which has caused the attention of librarians to be attracted quickly and has also been effective in saving time.Conclusion: The results of the research showed that 100% of the studied libraries are without tools and devices such as "Book Locator" and the sorting of documents is done by the employees and librarians working in the archive. 90% of the people in the sample have evaluated the use of the "book locator tool" useful, which indicates the efficiency of the replacement device. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between knowledge management and service innovation in public libraries of Semnan province Methodology: The current research was conducted in terms of practical purpose using survey.   To collect data, the questionnaire of Islam, Agrawal, and Aqida was used and distributed among the sample. The statistical population was the librarians of public libraries in Semnan province. The sample size was determined according to Morgan table 89 Librarians. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software. Validity and reliability have already been confirmed in the research of Batani. Cronbach's alpha test was used for the reliability of the present study, and the coefficient was 0.93.Results: Findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge management (with the sub-comparisons of knowledge acquisition and creation, r = 0.658; knowledge dissemination and transfer, r = 0.709; use and Application of knowledge, r = 0.782) and innovation in library services. Examining the favorable state of innovation in library services and knowledge management shows that in all variables, the sample average is higher than the theoretical average, and the state of innovation in library services and knowledge management was favorable among library employees in Semnan province.Conclusion: The results of the present study showed the relationship between knowledge management and service innovation in public libraries in Semnan province. Examining the desirability of the state of innovation in library services and knowledge management showed that in all the investigated variables, the sample average was higher than the theoretical average, this indicates that the public library librarians of Semnan province have new ideas and provide services to the users and offer new services. Librarians, themselves should have enough information literacy and skills in order to move information to users and give convenience information services to their users’ library. The objective of this research is the survey study of information literacy among librarians at the university libraries. Methods: this research is a descriptive and applied study. The data were gathered from 100 librarians at Center University libraries: beheshti. Tehran, tarbiyat modarres, medical university of iran and shahid beheshti by questionnaire and present refer. Questionnaire included 31 close questions and used SPSS for giving average and analytical columns. Results: The research shows that the most using are from online database58%.internet69% and computer catalog71%. Librarians at tarbiyat modares with 3.62 average have the best skills in using the materials and librarians at medical university of shahid beheshti were very low in skills. Following resources have great average of using between librarians: Persian book (3.82) and database (3.56). The best way in order to take information about libraries field was using internet (80%). Lake of knowledge about new references64% and to be familiar with English language 52% and computers50% were the main inhibitor for information resources. Library prepared short periods of professional’s education. Training during their jobs are good for increase information literacy. 92% of librarians believe that giving professional information and training during their jobs are necessary for university librarians. Conclusion: Research finding indicated that librarian’s information literacy level in Center University libraries aren’t good and the level is middle. Thirty five librarians were surveyed  Findings: familiarity and use of Web 2.0 tools by librarians was (2.5) and (2.7). Findings: The average of Familiarity with each of the Web 2.0 tools was; Blogs (3.25), social networking (3), RSS (2.65), wiki (2.5), instant messaging (2.22), social bookmarks (2/2), podcasts (2), online image sharing (1.94). In addition, rate of acceptance for welcoming web 2.0 technologies in future was (3.7). Conclusion: Some academic librarians were well versed in Web 2.0 tools such as weblogs, wikis, RSS and various social networks. However, in general, there had been limited knowledge concerning podcasts, photograms and social bookmarking. While librarians displayed high aptitude in employing weblogs, photograms and other forms of online in which image sharing were in the least. Methodology: Research is of descriptive type and its method is analytical survey. Statistical population composed of 109 persons of librarians of academic libraries in 15 comprehensive branches who were tested by census. Data collection instrument was face-to-face interview with pundits in order to choose entrepreneurship protective features, and researcher-made self-measurement questionnaire for measuring these features in librarians. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage of frequency and table-drawing) and inferential statistics (KMO index, Kervit Bartlett test, single-way variance analysis, correlation coefficient and determination coefficient). Findings: Librarians' entrepreneurship protective features were significantly less than average and there was a significant relationship between librarianship diploma, age and librarians' education level and their protective features. Also among some librarians' protective features with variables of educational diploma, age and education had positive and direct coefficient that the increase in score of demographical variables caused the increase in librarians' entrepreneurship protective features. Conclusion: Nowadays, the emphasis is on attracting and recruiting entrepreneur librarians. Explaining the goals, responsibilities and assigning responsibility to competent librarians have made they feel confidence and trust. Methodology: It is a combination of qualitative and quantitative method. we interviewed with 25 people from knowledgeable of psychology, management, economics and library science  and  in order to select qualification characteristics, it was interviewed among 32 suggested characteristics and by means of analytic measurement method with instrument of questionnaire of self-test in the test of 15 selective characteristics in librarians of academic libraries were used, then found things were collected and analyzed. Findings: Characteristics of necessary qualification in presentation, expansion, development and control of services quality, organizational learning, and relationship with subjective experts, increase of resources collection, individual and specialized relationships with colleagues and confrontation with job challenges in librarians were in the high amount and other characteristics were in the average amount. In academic libraries, we can use of them as a powerful tool for communication. These tools provide excellent conditions for exchanging information between students and faculty members, and the librarians. This study determined use of the social networking tools (social networking sites, blogging tools, micro-blogging tools and wiki tools) in sharing the knowledge among librarians at University of Isfahan. Methodology: The research population included all librarians of University of Isfahan. The questionnaire is used for collecting data. The statistical software SPSS16 is used for data analyzing. Findings: The findings show that mean of using social networking  tools in sharing knowledge by University of Isfahan librarians 1.79 and mean of using each of social networking tools (Social networking Sites, blogging tools, micro-blogging tools, and wikis tools)  in sharing knowledge by University of Isfahan librarians includes the following (1.66), (1.69), (1.64) and (1.93).         Purpose: The aim of this paper is identifying and analyzing elements and features of Simorgh library software, and measuring its users and librarians’ satisfaction. Methodology: The methodology of this study is of survey type and it is an applied study. Tools for data collection is QUIS questionnaire that was distributed among all librarians and 386 users of Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi whom were selected through simple random sampling without replacement. Both descriptive and deductive statistics methods were utilized for data analysis. Findings: Findings showed that the level of satisfaction of participants with interaction to Simorgh software is in average, whereas the librarians were significantly more satisfied than the users. The highest level of satisfaction of users and librarians was related to general reaction with interaction to Simorgh software and interface display, while the lowest level of satisfaction was related to software help and interface vocabularies and messages. Conclusion: Efficiency of user interface of Simorgh software from the view of users and librarians of Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi is in average and in a few cases is higher than medium, and with more attention to the consistency of user interface elements and features of the software to the needs, views and features of different groups of users can be added to their satisfaction. To gather information the researcher has used questionnaires including 29 questions. The validity of this questionnaire was confirmed by experts and reliability of questionnaire was verified by Cronbach’s alpha. For statistical analysis, Single variable T- test, K square and Friedman test were used. Findings: Results of this research reveal that public libraries role in society’s cultural engineering is more than 50% and also clarifies that between the chosen factors as the cultural role of libraries; the most effective one is libraries’ role in developing knowledge and information among the society.         Objectives: The objective of this study is to do a survey among library users and librarians regarding to the library’s services in first grade public libraries of Tehran. Methodology: The data gathering for this study is based on LIBQUAL’s questionnaire. The study conducted among 89 librarians and 40556 library’s users, which 381 person randomly selected. Findings: findings has been shown that the three important libqual’s criteria (service effect, information control, library as a place) have Meaningful differences among librarians and library’s users and none of them have reached the acceptable criteria. In addition, the study shown that the quality of the service is satisfactory in light of the current situation. The female librarians, whom they participated in this survey in compare with their male fellows, believe that user expect is more than the current library’s situation. Also study indicates that service’s effect is more important, than the other libqual’s criteria.         The research aims to do a survey on librarians' information literacy rate in public libraries of Tehran, affiliated to the Board of Iranian Public Libraries. The research is a descriptive survey. For collecting needed information, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed among 131 librarians of Public libraries in Tehran.The questionnaires were including 41 closed questions and 1 open question. In order to analyze collected data, using descriptive statistical methods, SPSS software was applied.Research findings showed that 74 percent of personnel are women and only 26 percent are men; 140 computers are specified for librarians and 66 computers for users; there is one computer available for each librarian per capita; software used by all libraries is Namayeh; rate of familiarity with computer courses by librarians is low and librarians need to pass educational courses in this field very much. Also, personnel of the field of librarianship with average of 3/50 have more information literacy compared to personnel of other subjects with average 3/23 and with those who have no university studies with average 2/93.Generally, lack of enough skills in the application of computers, language barriers especially English, and relative familiarity with research tools were the most important obstacles for accessing information resources.Finally, in line with research hypotheses it was found that there is a correlation between study field of librarians and their information literacy, and it was concluded that librarians' information literacy level is intermediate.   Manuscript profile

A questionnaire used based on Karl Albrecht’s Seven Skills. Karl Albrecht presents a model for organizational intelligence that has seven dimensions: strategic vision, shared faith, appetite to change, sprit, alignment and congruence, knowledge deployment and performance pressure. Findings: According to the results, the organizational intelligence mean (3.2) is higher than average. The highest and lowest obtained means relate to knowledge application and change indexes 3.76 and 2.66 respectively.         Purpose: The aim of research is to determine demographic variables of librarians of comprehensive units of university libraries of Islamic Azad University, their relation and  influence on entrepreneurship psychological characteristics from the viewpoint of humanistic school.       Methodology: Research method is a survey and descriptive analytic survey. The research was based on the humanistic school with 26 entrepreneurship psychological characteristics. Total of statistical society were 109 librarians and questionnaire of self testing was used as a tool. The analysis of   information was done by descriptive and analytic statistics by SPSS software.       Findings: Entrepreneurship psychological characteristics in librarians was more than average point meaningfully and there was meaningful relationship between educational degree of library science and education level of librarians with their psychological characteristics. Also, among some of the psychological characteristics of librarians with educational degree variable and the level of educations had appositive and direct coefficient with increase of scores of scale of these variables, the entrepreneurship psychological characteristic of librarians increase. Among characteristics of librarians' entrepreneurship psychological, foresight characteristic receives the least influence and innovating characteristic receives the most influence from the demographic variables.      Conclusion: With the existence of a few experts and knowledgeable in the field of entrepreneurship of librarians the findings of this research, is as a new approach in the study of characteristics of librarians entrepreneurship psychological. It is expected librarians could designate backgrounds for entrepreneurship activities in the libraries.         In the present research, the role of hospital librarians regarding delivery of information to medical doctors, specialists, and assistant was evaluated. In this descriptive research, the society of medical doctors, specialists, and assistants were studied. To collect needed data, 250 questionnaires distributed based on simple random sampling method among physicians in 5 educational hospitals. Among them, 153 subjects completed and returned the questionnaire. The results showed that %65.45 of specialists refer to educational hospital libraries one day per week, so the hypothesis that specialists refer to this libraries less than any other ones was rejected. The most important problem was limited work hours. Friedman's ranking test showed specialists prefer to get information from their colleague because it is convenient and fast (%6.38). Also using non-parametric √k2 test, most specialists refer to libraries one day every week. Results concerning relation between educational degree and the time of using libraries show no meaningful differences. But the libraries facilities are important factors for those who refer them. Finally, %75.8 of them agreed that obtained information was useful. %93.5 of medical doctors confirmed that librarians can play an important role in preparing necessary up-to-date information for prevention, care and treatment.   Manuscript profile

        Purpose: This research aims to survey the relationship between librarians' emotional intelligence and empowerment, who work in Tabriz academic libraries. Methodology: For attaining this goal, we have used two research instruments, that included two questionnaires, Bar-On EI Scale and Model (consist of 30 questions for Emotional Intelligence Measurement), Nokelainen and Ruhotie Empowerment Model, consist of 10 questions for Empowerment Measurement. These questionnaires were distributed among 136 samples, who were working in Tabriz universities. Then, results of measurement have been analyzed using statistical descriptive and inferential methods (Pearson’s Correlation Test and Linear Regression). Findings: According to the findings, there is a significant relation (0.404 Pearson Correlations and 0.163 R Square) between EI and Empowerment of academic librarians in Tabriz. The score of EI has been attained 111.5221, which in comparison with scale (90-120) is high. And, the score of librarians' empowerment has been attained 40.6838. This score in comparison with scale (40-50) is very high.         Purpose: This research aimed to investigate the awareness and the usage of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences librarians who used the existing full-text databases in the homepage of the central library website. This study tried to find the problems and barriers which resulted in the difficulties in using these databases as well as providing some new approaches to disseminate more and more information to the end users by librarians. Methodology: Survey method, with applied approach, was used as a research method. The population was all employed librarians of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences libraries. Researcher-made questionnaire was used as a data-collecting tool and SPSS 16.0 used to analyze data. Central and scatter index statistics has been used to answer the research questions. Findings: The findings showed that the average scores of the librarians’ familiarity with full text electronic databases was 51.52 (Std Deviation=26.4). T-test indicates that there was not any significant difference between the awareness score and the sexuality as well as the usability score and the sexuality; but there was a significant difference between the awareness score and the rate of the usability of full text databases. Also the spearman correlation showed that there was a direct significant difference between the education levels of the librarians and their awareness, familiarity and usability scores. In this case, Elsevier had the highest rank among English databases. Conclusion: The results showed that the rate of the awareness and the usage of the existing full-text databases by Isfahan University of Medical Sciences was more than average. It can be seen that the librarians’ sexuality didn’t have any impact on their awareness and usages but there was a significant difference between their academic disciplines and their usages and awareness. The highest rate of the awareness and usages belonged to the domestic databases. It can be concluded that there was a positive relationship between the periods of awareness of librarians toward these databases and their usages. Manuscript profile

Methodology: This research used a descriptive-survey and the correlational method. Research population consisted of all of 53 faculty of JSU. Data collection tools are questionnaire for assessing the quality of library services and questionnaire for faculty attitude toward collaboration with librarians. For data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics methods (Pearson’s Correlation Test) were used. Findings: The findings showed that quality of perceived service of the library from the perspective of faculty was evaluated in the average level (5.72). Also, their attitude toward collaboration with librarians was evaluated with agreement (3.93). It was determined that there was no significant relationship between the quality of perceived service of the library from the perspective of faculty and their attitude toward collaboration with librarians in JSU. Conclusion: Variable of quality of perceived service of the library from the perspective of faculty members was not as the role of anticipant for variable of their attitude toward collaboration with librarians and investigating relationship of other variables is necessary. This research aims at determining the role of undergraduate librarianship on attitude of librarianship students in University of Isfahan and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences toward internet based on ISA model. Methodology: the research method was descriptive survey and  The population consisted of all undergraduate students of librarianship in University of Isfahan and Isfahan University of Medical sciences (91 people) in 2010-2011. Due to limited population, the census method was used. To gather the data, the standard questionnaire “Internet Anxiety Scale” is used and it consists of four subscales of internet anxiety, usefulness of internet, and enjoyment of internet, and feeling of self-efficacy in using internet. To determine the validity of the questionnaire, the content validity was used. Using Cronbach’s Alpha, the reliability of the questionnaire was estimated 0.96.To analyze the data, at descriptive statistics level frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation in the form of table and at inferential statistics single-sample t test, multivariate analysis of variance (Manova) were used. Findings: According to the findings, undergraduate librarianship had positive effect on anxiety, usefulness, enjoyment and feeling of self-efficacy in using internet. Yet its effect on reducing anxiety in men was more than women, and usefulness of internet, enjoyment of internet and feeling of self-efficacy in using internet in single students were more than married students. The university and different ages have had no effects on students’ attitudes but there was significant difference in the self-efficacy between first year students of librarianship and the final year students of librarianship. Conclusion: Undergraduate librarianship had positive effect on students’ attitudes toward these four components in mentioned universities. For data collection in this study, the researcher made questionnaire was used based on a review of the related literature and other researchers’ Web 2.0 tools. For answering the research questions and hypotheses of descriptive statistics (frequency and percentage) and inferential tests (one-group t test, ANOVA and Duncan's post hoc test) was used. Findings: The results showed that Iranian public librarians Understanding and using Web 2.0 functionality was at low (44 percent) and as well as the use of library facilities and functionalities of Web 2.0 for    getting service to library users were at low (48 percent). The most capabilities of Iranian public libraries were in using E-mail and blog and the least capabilities were in using of flicker and Wiki. Conclusion: The rate of use of Web 2.0  of public librarians in the work was low. Retraining courses, in-service training while serving with the web, encouraging librarians to understand the web and its application in library services are required to be studied. This study can be considered as a new research aspect, specifically has considered Understanding and using Web 2.0 functionality of Iranian public librarians  in the workplace.The results of the survey can help managers and librarians for efficient use of these facilities in the workplace.         The purpose of this research is to find out the views of the Islamic Azad University library employees from the Region 5 about the importance of information technology and how influential information technology is regarding their job performances and improvement? Hence, 65 library employees from different ranks were asked and their responses have been used in this project. The method used is survey-descriptive and a questionnaire was used to gather needed data. In this research, initially the level of information technology used by the librarians was investigated, and then its impact on the library employees' job performance and their improvements were studied. In this study, variety of factors such as job performance improvement, independence, freedom, responsibility, satisfaction, decisiveness, innovation, self control, and etc. have been used to eventually come up with hypothesis and make up the basic questions discussed in this project. According to the hypothesis using information technology can cause obvious improvement at the job performance level of the library employees of the Islamic Azad University Region 5. Findings show that Region 5 libraries have at least between 1-5 employees, 64.6% of them studied Librarianship at college and the number of computer per capita is 69.2%. 25% of these employees have indicated the usage of software such as intranet, Excel and Word and etc. whereas the number of those using practical software and different computer sites goes up to 50% of our research population. Current library activities such as cataloging, issuing membership cards and graphical usage still show more increase of about 70% of the employees. Moreover, the libraries provide excellent facilities such as information banks, either continues or discontinues, fax, telefax, printers and so on. Data analysis verified number of influential factors on job performance improvement such as decrease in number of job related errors, job satisfaction and faster service being provided by these employees. Other factors also related to information technology and its positive impact on these employees were observed and verified: including increase in job satisfaction, more willingness to make job related decisions and accepting more responsibilities.         Purpose: The aim of present study was comparison of job satisfaction, burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and lack of personal accomplishment) and organizational commitment of male and female librarians by controlling degree, age and job precedent in university libraries of Tehran city. Methodology: The research method was causal-comparative and the sample consisted of 128 (62 male and 64 female) librarians in university libraries of Tehran city selected based on classified randomized sampling with proportional allocation. Data was obtained using the Maslach & Jackson Burnout Inventory (MJBI), Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) and Job-In General (JIG); Then MANCOVA was used to analyze the data. Findings: Findings of this study showed that there are significant differences between two groups in job satisfaction, burnout, depersonalization and lack of personal accomplishment; but findings of this study showed that there were no significant differences between two groups in organizational commitment and emotional exhaustion. These questionnaires have been designed on the basis of draft code of professional ethics of Iranian Library and Information Science Association, Qom Branch. It is notable that this draft codified according to complied and written ethical code of librarianship for 38 countries available in the IFLA site and published as a book. The present study aims to examine rate of satisfaction from different services offered in central library of Semnan University of Medical Sciences. It is a descriptive study done using survey method. The research population consists of all the students that are members of the library, of which a sample of 290 members was chosen. Data were collected by questionnaire. Analysis of data is made by descriptive statistics using SPSS. Results of this research show that 45/9% of students were satisfied with the offered services; 56/5% of them didn’t know about computer system for searching the sources available in the library. Methodology: Survey method is used for data gathering. An organized questionnaire is used with 96% reliability through Cronbach’s alpha test. Population are 100 managers and librarians of Region 8 of Islamic Azad University. Findings: According to the results, training courses increase job scales with average 3.26, job knowledge with 3.46, accuracy in job tasks with 3.09 and solving problems with 3.00. The data show that training courses stimulate staff for achieving to the objectives of organization with 3.20, and also improve the behavior of the staff. In the field of job promotion, the courses with average 3.11 are desired and stimulate it, but they are not led to advantage of promotion with average of 2/74. Conclusion: Participation and earning needed skills, job promotion, speed, accuracy and order, respect, planning and curiosity, presenting views, obeying and accepting responsibility, are in an acceptable level and it is suggested that the courses would be held periodically.         Purpose: The present study investigated the affective factors which brought technology to adopting Namaye Nashryat software by librarian in public libraries depended on the organization of public libraries of the country in 22 regions of Tehran. Methodology: This survey was an analytical study. The participants consist of 131 librarian and the head of the libraries in public libraries. The census method was used. Questionnaire was utilized for collecting data. The collected data was analyzed using spss16 in both descriptive and analytic statistics. Descriptive statistics consist frequency, percentage and mean, while for analytic statistics Single-Sample T test and Pearson correlation coefficient were applied. Findings: The finding showed technological factors (relative advantage, adoption, easy to use, Trainability and observability) were affective in Namaye Nashryat technology adoption by librarian in public library in Tehran. There was a significant positive and direct relation with adoption. Moreover, the adoption and complexity are recognized respectively as the strongest and the weakest affective factor in technology adoption. Conclusion: Results showed that all technological factors have been affecting the adoption of these technologies. According to Krejcie Morgan's table, 98 people were selected as the sample size. Findings: Organizational culture of public and university libraries in the Kermanshah is more than average level. There is a significant relationship between two aspects of organizational culture (Adaptability and Consistency) and creativity of librarians. But, there is no significant relationship between two other aspects of organizational culture (Involvement and Mission) and creativity of librarians. Conclusion: The organizational culture as a facilitator and motivator has a direct relation with creativity of librarians.         Purpose: The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence of librarians in the libraries of Razi University on the level of satisfaction of M A. students. Methodology: The study was a descriptive survey. Two questionnaires were used to collect data. In order to investigate the level of emotional intelligence, the standard test of emotional intelligence (Bar-On) has been used and also to investigate the level of students’ satisfaction, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. To assess reliability, Cronbach's alpha was used to test the level of emotional intelligence questionnaire, 84% and 91% satisfaction was reported. The first group includes 43 of managers and librarians working in libraries of Razi University (including the central library and seven college-libraries). The second group includes 1568 of M A. students of Razi University that 291 of them were chosen as a sample through incidental-classical sampling. The data were analyzed using both descriptive and analytical tests using SPSS software version 21. The descriptive statistics of the main characteristics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were used in inferential statistics; Pearson’s correlation test, one sample t and t for independent samples were used. Findings: Findings showed that emotional intelligence of librarians in Razi University affects graduate students’ satisfaction of library management, productivity, and quality of personal behavior. Emotional intelligence of Razi University librarians and students' satisfaction of library services are above average. Conclusion: The more the emotional intelligence of librarians in Razi University, the more ratification of graduate students. To achieve the purpose, electronic equipment, electronic resources, network resources, databases, data retrieval and the components related to librarians’ job stress were investigated. The statistical population consisted of 262 University of Tehran librarians. 110 librarians replied to the questionnaires. The questionnaire was used to gather the needed information. And, descriptive and inferential statistics including 2-sentence and chi-square tests were applied to conduct the research and also SPSS and Excel softwares were utilized to analyze the collected data. The analysis of data shows that electronic equipment plays a role in reducing the librarians’ job stress (meaningful level = 0.000). There is a relationship between the provided services in the form of electronic resources and librarians’ job stress (P< 0.05). There is a relationship between the provided services in the form of network resources and librarians’ job stress (P< 0.05). Methodology: descriptive survey method was used. Required data has been collected through questionnaire with using Likert scale. There have been some hypotheses which have been designed on the basis of existing variables. Also interviews, office regulations, phone reports, and visiting public libraries in Tabrizand Major offices of public libraries of the East Azarbayjan were considered. Statistical society in this survey includes all staff of 18 public libraries which have completed their on-service training. 96 questionnaires were distributed among staff and after completion, only 50 of them were usable which were analyzed using Excel 2007 and SPSS17. Findings: From total number of respondents 56% of respondents agreed with the analysis of labor issues, 38% of them agreed with the opportunities and facilities are used properly, 60% of respondents agreed to increase staff skills in providing services, 48% of them agree with the initiative, 50% of agreed with the increased interest in respect of employee services, 44% of respondents agreed with the staff in decision making and accelerate, 48% believed on- service training should be based on solving the real problems inside the libraries. Kopelman’s organizational factors. Methodology: This applied research was done using a survey method. Two researcher-made questionnaires ‘organizational factors’ and ‘productivity’ were instrument for gathering data. Statistical population was consisted of all public librarians at Hamedan province to 127 people and ultimately 97 questionnaires were collected. The data analysis took place by means of SPSS16 statistical software at the level of descriptive and inferential statistical (Pearson’s Correlation Test, Analysis of variance test (ANOVA)). Findings: The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between organizational factors and the productivity of librarians at (P<0/01(, There are no significant differences both between women's and men's librarian of productivity and between Education (Librarianship and non Librarianship) and the productivity of librarians at (P<0/05(, while there is significant difference between the productivity of librarians and degree of education at (P<0/05(. Methodology: The methodology of his research was co relationship survey. For data collecting, two questionnaires concerning job satisfaction and Trones creativity performed among the librarians. In order to analyze and assess the data descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correspondence index and T-test for two independent groups) were used. Findings: The study included all librarians working in the Markazi province, from which, 70 people(34 men, 36 women) have been chosen randomly. By analyzing the data following results were found: There is a meaningful correspondence between creativity and job satisfaction in the public libraries of Markazi province. But regarding the creativity among male and female librarians there is a meaningful difference that is; female librarians are more creative than the male ones. Also according to the research hypothesis, there is not any difference between the two groups of subjects, regarding job satisfaction.         Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the physical injuries of workplace among librarians of governmental universities of Isfahan based on Ergonomic principles. Methodology: The research method is descriptive survey by using questionnaire in 3 parts: demographic, Nordic, and library equipment and occupational conditions. Data analysis has been done by SPSS software, P coefficient of correlation and t-test. Findings: The amount of physical injuries at work according to different sections is Management/ 58%, Circulation/ 67%, Technical services/ %, andperiodical/ 77%.The librarians who work in other sections have declared the mount of injuries 11/11%, and those who simultaneously work at several sections have 84% injuries.On the whole, the amount of physical injuries in 12 months is 41/42%, in 3 months is 29/95% and in a week is 21/74%.The amount of absence at work is 7/7% and the amount of going to doctor because of physical injuries is 6/2%. Conclusion: There is a significant relation between age, work experience, and doing exercise with physical injuries, but there isn’t a significant relation between gender, working hours, library equipment and occupational conditions with physical injuries.   Manuscript profile

          Abstract The purpose of this research was to investigate the availability of the necessary context to develop creativity among librarians in public libraries of Kohkiloye and Boyerahmad province based on Oldham Model. The study also provides solutions for the development and growth of creativity in them. Measuring research method and data collection tools of questionnaire are based on the Oldham's model of creative ideas. The population was included all librarians of public libraries of Kohkiloye and Boyerahmad province who were all selected as members of the sample (82 persons). The data provided by research were analyzed by the way of descriptive statistics. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 16 software.‌ To carry out statistical analyses, one-sample t-test and the Spearman's correlation test were used. Based on findings of research, the positive spiritual and mental status under the influence of work context and tendency to supplying and sharing creative ideas were average with mean index of 2.92 and 3.01 respectively and there weren’t significant difference. But the positive spiritual and mental status  affected by non-working contexts with the mean of 3.66 , the individual differences in terms of employment with the mean of 3.88, the individual differences in terms of  employment with the mean of 3.29 were higher than medium and there were significant difference. Also, the results showed that the underlying context for developing creativity among librarians in public libraries of Kohkiloye and Boyerahmad province with the mean index of 3.23 was  higher than average and there was significant difference Manuscript profile

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between components of cybernetic model from the viewpoint of managers of Iranian academic libraries. This research was conducted by analytical survey method. The statistical population of the study includes 753 managers and librarians in charge of university libraries in Tehran and other science centers of other cities. 250 students were selected using stratified random sampling and according to Krejces & Morgan (Powell, 2006). The required data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire based on Byrne Baum's view (1382), an opinion poll from experts and experts in this field. The 6-item questionnaire consists of monitoring and control, links, decision-making, hierarchy, and leadership that are surveyed based on Likert's spectrum. Data analysis has been done using SPSS-20 software. Findings: Data analysis was performed using Pearson correlation test. Pearson correlation coefficient showed that there is a direct and significant relationship between the main components of the cybernetic model in academic libraries. And changes in the direction of each of the components are expected to improve other components, and vice versa. The findings of this research can be based on the establishment of a cybernetic-based scientific management system that ultimately leads to the achievement of the goals and strategies of academic libraries. field.         The present research is conducted to study the relationship between organizational learning and librarian empowerment of public libraries in Markazi Province. This is a descriptive survey. Research statistical population included 146 librarians of public libraries in Markazi province working at 12 offices and 1 management unit. Due to limited statistical population, all (146) individuals were investigated without sampling. Research data were collected using through a demographic questionnaire, Spritzer's psychological empowerment questionnaire, and Nife's Organizational Learning Questionnaire. Research results showed that there is a strong positive relationship between five empowerment components and organizational learning. The significant relationship between job and organizational learning was 0.937; it equaled 0.934 for the relationship between competence and organizational learning. The relationship between independence and organizational learning was measured r=0.924; the relationship between effectiveness and organizational learning was obtained 0.953. And finally, the relationship between trust in colleagues and organizational learning was 0.964.   Manuscript profile

        The main aim of this research is definition of relation between using IT ( Information Technology ) and self confidence of "Islamic Azad Universities' librarians in Tehran.Statistics' society of this research contains 218 librarians who have licence ( and up ) universitical degree - whether as their education fields - and work at I.A.U.s' libraries in Tehran ( North Tehran Unity,South Tehran,East Tehran & West Tehran ).Applying "k. Morgan's Board",140 librarians were chosen samples between universities' libraries. It was used two questionnaries ( standard & providential ) to examine the variables: It was applied "Cooper Smith's Standard Questionnary" to examine librarians' self confidence,and providential questionnary to examine librarians' usage quantity of IT.Then,it was used "Pearson's Cohesion Coefficient Examination" to understand directive cohesion relation's meaning-fully;for answering the research questions foundamentally of combinated & collected informations. And also 'k-s examination" was applied to examine pre-supposed distribution normality. The results have been mentionning that: there is directive cohesion ( with high confiance,about 95% ) between librarians' general self confidence and IT usage with their social self confidence,and the other hand;between using IT and their professional self confidence variables. Besides,there is directive cohesion ( with low cnfiance,about 95% ) between using IT and librarians' education self confidence,and the other hand;between their family self confidence and IT usage variables.
