Abstract :
Purpose: The recent study was done in order to distinguish the relationship between gender and job satisfaction with creativity of librarians in the public libraries of Markazi province. Methodology: The methodology of his research was co relationship survey. For data collecting, two questionnaires concerning job satisfaction and Trones creativity performed among the librarians. In order to analyze and assess the data descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correspondence index and T-test for two independent groups) were used. Findings: The study included all librarians working in the Markazi province, from which, 70 people(34 men, 36 women) have been chosen randomly. By analyzing the data following results were found: There is a meaningful correspondence between creativity and job satisfaction in the public libraries of Markazi province. But regarding the creativity among male and female librarians there is a meaningful difference that is; female librarians are more creative than the male ones. Also according to the research hypothesis, there is not any difference between the two groups of subjects, regarding job satisfaction. Considering job satisfaction and creativity there is a positive and remarkable correspondence among female librarians, but this is not the case for male librarians.
