Purpose: This research aims to investigate the relationship between sexuality and Library Anxiety of Bushehr government-sponsored universities students.
Methodology: In this descriptive study which is of correlation type, a total of 700 students of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences (Ministry of Health and Medical Education) and Persian Gulf University (Ministry of Science, Research and Technology) were selected through Stratified random sampling. All data were collected by using normalized Questionnaire of Library Anxiety and analyzed using SPSS. In an analytical statistics part some various tests like T-test, an independent T test, mann-whitney test, Pearson correlation test, and regression test were used.
Findings: The findings showed that students of the two universities have lower library anxiety than average levels (91.73) and this anxiety is Just in the component "mechanical factors" above average. Comparing male and female students showed that at a significant level of 0.97 there is no difference between them in library anxiety. However, comparing the components, male and female students were significantly different in the component of "factors from interacting with librarians.
Conclusion: Also, according to sexual divisions we can conclude that there is no significant difference between the total scores of male and female students in Library Anxiety. However, findings show that Male and female students are significantly different only in "factors from interacting with librarians .
