Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality level of services provided by the Regional Information Center for Science and Technology (RICeST) using the Six Sigma methodology. Methodology: The studied population in this research includes the users of (RICeST). 120 users in this center have been chosen as the samples by a simple random way. Data collection tool in this study was the LibQUAL Questionnaire. Using this questionnaire, the gap between the customers' expectations and perceptions was identified and analyzed. Data were analyzed using the statistical software "Spss" and the mean and standard deviation were calculated for the obtained data. In each of the evaluated cases, the calculated standard deviation was compared with the sigma level in the output table for the types of sigma in order to specify the qualitative efficiency of services. By this way, the error rate in each of the provided services has been determined. Findings: the findings showed  the employees in the Regional Center for the Science and Technology Information have been able to meet the users' minimum expectations in this center in all cases except the option "The courteous staff"; and have allocated the efficiency 50% which is equal to 500,000 errors per million. In the other words, the average rate was true in all raised options about the staff in this center. The efficiency, 69. 20 percent, obtained from the users view about the quality of existing resources in this center represents their relative satisfaction with the current condition. Only about the option "the presence of a website in the center" the level of users' expectations has been equal to the actual level and the efficiency 99. 97 percent been achieved. The quality of library space at the actual level has been lower than the maximum level of users' expectation, but it has been higher than the level of users' minimum expectations. The efficiency 69. 20 percent about the center space indicates 308,000 errors per million. In this case, it has been far from achieving the desired level or the maximum users' expectations. Conclusion: The results showed that in most cases, Regional Information Center for Science and Technology require to increase the actual level of service. Near the maximum level of expectations with actual service, will result to increase efficiency service quality and the Users ‘satisfaction. Manuscript profile

Methodology: the research method was descriptive survey and  The population consisted of all undergraduate students of librarianship in University of Isfahan and Isfahan University of Medical sciences (91 people) in 2010-2011. Due to limited population, the census method was used. To gather the data, the standard questionnaire “Internet Anxiety Scale” is used and it consists of four subscales of internet anxiety, usefulness of internet, and enjoyment of internet, and feeling of self-efficacy in using internet. To determine the validity of the questionnaire, the content validity was used. Using Cronbach’s Alpha, the reliability of the questionnaire was estimated 0.96.To analyze the data, at descriptive statistics level frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation in the form of table and at inferential statistics single-sample t test, multivariate analysis of variance (Manova) were used. Findings: According to the findings, undergraduate librarianship had positive effect on anxiety, usefulness, enjoyment and feeling of self-efficacy in using internet. Yet its effect on reducing anxiety in men was more than women, and usefulness of internet, enjoyment of internet and feeling of self-efficacy in using internet in single students were more than married students. The university and different ages have had no effects on students’ attitudes but there was significant difference in the self-efficacy between first year students of librarianship and the final year students of librarianship.           Purpose: The recent study was done in order to distinguish the relationship between gender and job satisfaction with creativity of librarians in the public libraries of Markazi province. Methodology: The methodology of his research was co relationship survey. For data collecting, two questionnaires concerning job satisfaction and Trones creativity performed among the librarians. In order to analyze and assess the data descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correspondence index and T-test for two independent groups) were used. Findings: The study included all librarians working in the Markazi province, from which, 70 people(34 men, 36 women) have been chosen randomly. By analyzing the data following results were found: There is a meaningful correspondence between creativity and job satisfaction in the public libraries of Markazi province. But regarding the creativity among male and female librarians there is a meaningful difference that is; female librarians are more creative than the male ones. Also according to the research hypothesis, there is not any difference between the two groups of subjects, regarding job satisfaction. Considering job satisfaction and creativity there is a positive and remarkable correspondence among female librarians, but this is not the case for male librarians. Manuscript profile
