So that Proquest in this category is in the first place. It also was determined. the mean score of pollution factors in the abstract   of five databases, is no significant difference database. But ISI Web of knowledge Had little  more pollution than others. Comparison of pollution in the keyword information shows the mean scores between pollution factors to separate data bases are no significant different , so that Emerald has more pollution. It also was determined between the mean score pollution factor caused by writing data exists significant difference. So that in this group Science Direct is in the first place. Conclusion: Although these five bases are  studied in the humanities, but the results showed each database does  not meet all user needs entirely. Methodology: This research is of a descriptive type and the method is survey and data has been collected through a questionnaire. The sample students were selected through random sampling method which consisted of 340 students from seven engineering fields. Data analysis included descriptive statistics (Frequency and percentage) and analytical statistics (Chi-Square Test). Findings: Findings of this research showed that most students experienced many stages of Kuhlthau’s information-seeking model. That is, when searching information on the Internet, students experienced the second, the fourth, the fifth, and the sixth stages of that Model, and their feelings were the same as those mentioned in Kuhlthau’s model. Conclusion: The results of revealed that male and female studentsshow a significant differences in information- seeking the six stages of  Kuhlthau’s information-seeking model; so that, male students more experienced the second, the fourth, and the sixth stages of this Model when searching the Internet. Research method: Current study has been done through a survey with analytical approach. The target society in this study included seven sources of information (Internet, on line  information databases, CD Rom information databases, electronic journals, multimedia features, printed books and printed periodicals) exist in the library. In order to collect data, the researcher made a questionnaire with Likert range and distributed between 71 faculty members , staffs and graduate students. For analyzing data, the descriptive and inferential statistics were used by using SPSS software. In order to analyze the research questions and hypotheses, one sample T-test, ANOVA (F Fisher) and Pearson correlation coefficient were used. Findings: The research results with 95 percent of confidence showed that the available resources in the mentioned library are greatly beneficial to users and their information needs have been resolved. Between the seven mentioned information sources, the most use has been carried out of printed books and the Internet and the most application of existing resources is for publishing scientific articles. Among the potential users community of information resources (8700 people) , based on any person of the users community use library on the year 1388 , The Internet with 2.4 persons had the most use and multimedia with 0.38 person had the lowest use. Also, the survey results revealed that the Internet with 8032 Rials had the most cost - benefit and printed books with 96,386 Rials  had the lowest cost - benefit . Conclusion: Finally with 95 percent of confidence have revealed between information resources cost and beneficial aspect of these resources in 1388 is a significant relation and with regard to the correlation coefficient value (0.924) can be concluded this type of relationship is direct and positive.           Manuscript profile

The society of the study was limited to all the libraries of Payame  Noor university in the center of provinces. SPSS and Excel Software were utilized  for investigation and analysis. Research findings: The results of the data analysis indicate that all Studied libraries are not following standards the libraries studied showed  the standards of objectives and functions (%59/83), organization and management (%62/33), staff (%59/33), lib collection (%55/83), organization of resources (%75), library services (%49.52) ,building and equipment (%38/32), and budget (%5.35) on average. The average of the whole correspondence between the libraries studied and the standards is (%54/45) qualitatively. but quantitatively , There exists an enormous difference in human resources (%5/72),and lib collection (%13/13) in comparison with the standards. Considering the standard of required library space, the libraries studied are in unfavorable totally,  Results: Conclusion from the eight standards investigated, the standard of organization of resources with (%75) has the highest Conformability to the standards and the quantitative standard of human resources with (%5/72)has the least or lowest Conformability  to the standards for Iranian University libraries. Research findings, research hypothesis, "payame noor university libraries of the center of the provinces with standards for Iranian university libraries do not match " Conformability .                            Manuscript profile

The research method is survey and the information is gathered via questionnaire according to Eisenberg and Berkowitz. The questionnaire consists of 64 questions. Spss is used for data analysis. Findings: The results show that the majority of research population is men with the bachelor degree. Also the citation skill of the students to printed and electronic resources< regarding copy right, consulting with experts in information retrieval, accessing information, organizing and abstracting, evaluating the information retrieved, the ability to combine new information with the older ones, using information appropriate technology, and identifying their needs is higher than the average, but the skill of using information data bases – on line or offline, the facilities of search engines, discussion and news groups, acquaintance with information resources, using electronic search tools is lower than average. Conclusion: The level of information literacy of students of zone 5 is rather good and acceptable. It is suggested that some workshops would be held for acquaintance with databases: online and offline, search engines, search tools.         Manuscript profile

Purpose: Electronic learning is one of the best learning environments in the information era. Despite the dominance of e-learning in educational environments, learner readiness for this new environment has rarely been assessed.  But according to learners including those who may not have experience of online learning; notice of those readiness as the most important elements of the educational system that has central role in this system is necessary in order to implement and successful performance such methods. So present study tries to investigate such necessity and is designed for Studyof Urmia University students’ readiness to participate in Electronic learning system. Methodology: research is Descriptive Survey type. We have selected 327 students from the statistical population in the second half of the academic year of 2010-2011 which were selected by Multi stage cluster sampling and through using Morgan table. Students readiness for e-learning was measured using a standard questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine questionnaire reliability. Statistical analysis used in this study is descriptive and inferential (Frequency tables, bar charts, mean and standard deviation, Single-sample chi-square test, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann- Whitney U test) and was performed by spss software. Findings : The results of this survey show that Urmia University students at the average level Prepared to participate in e- learning. Conclusion: The analysis of the research results show that there is a significant difference between preparation of undergraduate and postgraduate students to participate in e-learning. Also, the results show that there is no access to the technology and sufficient motivation in the Urmia University students to participate in e-learning. Finally, suggestions for improving students’ readiness to participate in e-learning are presented.                                              Manuscript profile
