Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between high school teachers' informational literacy and their level of creativity in the city of Khomeinishahr.
Methodology: The research method is descriptive-correlation. The population includes all the teachers in profit and non-profit high schools of Khomeinishahr. 167 teachers were selected through Multistage Cluster Sampling. To determine reliability of research questionnaires, Cronbach's alpha was used. Collected data were analyzed using correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis and independent t test.
Findings: The findings indicated that there is a significant relationship between the information literacy and the level of teachers' creativity (r: 0.430). Moreover, there is a significant relationship between information literacy-related components and the level of creativity.
Conclusion: Due to the positive correlation between information literacy and level of creativity, it can be concluded that the higher level of teachers' information literacy, the better circumstances of showing creativity can be increased. The regression analysis indicated that the level of creativity had the most relationship with the ability in effective access to the information (r: 0402) and it has the least relationship with the purposeful utilization of the information (r: 0237).
