Insurance companies are among the service organizations, which maintain close relationships with their clients by providing insurance services. Clients are the most important resource for service companies. And profitability of insurance companies undoubtedly hinges on clear analysis of client satisfaction and improved productivity of service providers. An important factor of client satisfaction with insurance services in insurance companies is short policy issuance lead time. Insurance companies have rarely paid enough attention to this problem; therefore, this paper aims to provide a strategy for improving policy issuance lead time by simulating the existing system and observing simulation results. After a software model was developed, the discrete-event simulation (DES) results were analyzed. Then model validation tests were conducted. After a valid simulated model was developed, it was decided to design system improvement scenarios. According to the results, policy issuance lead time decreased by changing each of these parameters: the number of operators issuing insurance policies, client referral time to a specialist, specialized test response time, and insurance representative referral time to a policy issuance center. As a result, the service process improved, and productivity increased. This indicates the effectiveness of the DES technique and expansion of operations research methods in the service industry. The purpose of this paper is to prepare a hybrid simulation model of system dynamics (SD) - agent-based modeling (ABM) to investigate the mobile service consumers’ behavior in the country. By using the suggested in this article, first the necessity to analysis consumers’ behavior is explained and then the effective factors on mobile ecosystem which influence the consumers’ behavior are explained. For each factor affecting on the ecosystem, related simulations were performed and then by combining system dynamics modeling - agent -based modeling, the behavior of mobile service consumers in the first operator of the country (Hamrahe Aval Company) was examined and finally the income affected by that behavior is analyzed. Results indicated that if no funds by the operator are allocated to the development of native applications and digital platform, after 2 years, the number of active customers of the operator will decrease because of the activities of cultural organizations. By the operator entering into the field of native application production and digital transformation, consumers tended to use more data services instead of voice calls, but because of different data and voice tariffs, the operator's income will not change much in the next 2 years. With the increase of marketing and advertising activities, despite the greater consumer inclination to use data, the main income of the operator decreases, which also needs more attention of policymakers in this area. Qualitative information security risk assessments are somewhat subjective and the high degree of subjectivity associated with the perception of risk means that management is often skeptical of risk analysis results, and is unwilling to make important decisions based on that. Besides, the process of information security risk assessment is quite complex and rife with uncertainty and without taken into account the uncertainty of information security risk assessment the results can be misleading. Therefore, in this paper, the Fuzzy Multi Criteria Group Decision Making (FMCGDM) model is proposed to address the above-mentioned problems. The focus group method used to identify risk parameters and the Delphi method is used to construct a hierarchy for risk parameters. The findings of this research would be useful for the information security department to become more capable in analyzing the InfoSec risks and reducing the consequences of subjective assessment. A case study involving an actual information security risk management project was presented to illustrate the use of the proposed model. Computational results demonstrated the efficiency and effectiveness of the presented model that can assist InfoSec risk analyst to better evaluate InfoSec risk. Manuscript profile

Agility of the supply chain is one of the main challenges in organizations which acting in a dynamic and complex environment, which they have to be able to answer to customers quickly. But the agility of supply chain is influenced by different agents. Using the model based on agent, this study has tried to simulate the agility of supply chain in an institute of higher education. There are three impressive elements are used in this model called as: smooth, offender and fault case, which those are also categorized in two groups impressive and impressible. There is a model is designed by using NETLOGO software which examines the impression and impressibility on each other. After executing the model at the case studied university at point of Time-769, the organization’s improvement will be possible in the best estate. All offender elements are reduced at this point.
