In recent decades, the imbalance occurrence, desired and balanced relationship between human and nature have unpleasant psychological effects. The relevant extent researches indicate that human presence could lead to a convenient life, mental retrieval and the decrease of tension, too. Therefore, if there is a pleasant and desired relevance between human and the environment in its design, the mental health care of the community will be promoted. Nowadays in designing residential complex, the main goal is the economic cos‌t decline and the given shelter provision. Besides being designed with the residents' needs, it has relied on the designers' points of views among which is one of the main criteria in applied challenges by which the sense of belonging to the place is promoted and it assis‌ts profession to be more correspondent to the reques‌ts, interes‌ts, and climate. Man recognizes and perceives the environment not only through the sense of sight but also through all his senses. Therefore, paying attention to non-physical dimensions in the environment can lead to the creation of spaces with higher environmental qu-ality and better sensory richness. One of the drivers of sense of belonging to the environment is the soundscape, which also affects the quality of urban space. The concept of soundscape refers to the profound effect of natural sounds and tunes on a person's sense of the environment and thus the effect on sensory richness and belonging to the environment. The main goal of this research is identify and evaluate the points of articulation and connection between the two concepts of soundscape and sense of belonging to the environment, in order to explain the intensity and relationship between these two variables in Farahzad neighborhood, that located on the northwest side in District 2 of Tehran, which is also one of the entertainment centers in Tehran. The statistical population of this study includes all residents and users of this site. This research is done on 385 people living or visiting this neighborhood through Sense Walking method. Pleasure is considered as the overall quality of the soundscape of the area from the people's point of view. In this method, people were asked to mark the sound index points in the map by holding a site map and focusing on the sense of hearing, and to determine its pleasant and unpleasant levels between 1 and 5. Accordingly, the number 1 indicates complete unpleasantness and the number 5 indicates the complete pleasantness of the soundscape and the numbers between them express the intermediate qualities. Then, we have considered the average level of pleasantness of different points expressed by people as the overall quality of the soundscape of the area from their point of view. A questionnaire was used to assess the sense of belonging to the area and Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analysis the correlation between the sense of belonging to the environment and the quality of the soundscape. The result of this study with respect to the correlation coefficient of 0.603 indicates a significant relationship between the quality of the soundscape and the degree of sense of spatial belonging in Farahzad neighborhood. On the other hand, the correlation between A-weighted equivalent continuous sound level (L_Aeq) in different spaces studied in Farahzad neighborhood and the average level of satisfaction announced by the respondents is equal to -0.739, which shows a significant and inverse relationship between sound intensity and the quality of the soundscape. The results of research show that the quality of the soundscape in three dimensions of environmental, individual and social is effective in the sense of belonging to the environment, So that the presence of natural elements in the environmental dimension, promoting mental health in the individual dimension and finally listening to the sounds and voices of neighborhood residents and acquaintances in the social dimension has an important effect on the sense of belonging to the environment. The correlation between urban green space and sense of belonging has been investigated in researches; However, few scholars have mentioned the relationship between the designable physical components of vegetation and the sense of belonging. This study investigates a relationship between three physical parameters of green space - "visual density," "weighted height of vegetation," and "per capita ratio of green space to an open common area of the complex" - and a resident's sense of belonging through five subjective and objective independent variables - transparency," "proportion and scale," "physical and visual diversity," "flexibility" and "privacy and Enclosure " - in four residential complexes in the city of Qom - the center of Iran. Data were extracted from a survey study (n=320), documents, and written sources. it was analyzed using second-order confirmatory factor analysis and hierarchical linear regression. Based on the research literature review and identified gaps, a conceptual model was presented to explain the factors contributing to promoting a sense of place through greening in residents. In the results, a level of a perceived sense of belonging of the residents of the samples in the central courtyard was observed to be higher than in the scattered courtyard. Also, a positive correlation was observed between the psychological and physical components of the green space with the feeling of belonging to a place. The findings showed that among the psychological components, the "transparency," and among the physical components, the "Per-Capita Green Area" had the most positive effect on the resident's sense of belonging Manuscript profile

This investigation aims at studying the strength of local identity within neighborhoods of the city of Tehran. Previous researches show that few decades ago local identity and belonging was strong within neighborhoods and because of close and vast relationships between people the extent of deviance was so low in local communities. This close relationship and sense of belonging to local community among people also had different social functions and was a source of emotional support for residents of local communities. However in recent years profound physical and social changes have tended to weaken that sense of blonging and local identity and wash away its functions. Regarding these deep changes it seems necessary to study the local identity and sense of belonging in order to understand its new conditions and mechanisms; therefore we can plan to rebuild that sense of identity in new forms. This study makes use of classical social theories, identity theories; theories of place identity, particularly local identity theories, in order build a theoretical basis to study the extent of local identity in Tehran city. Our statistical society is all +18 citizens of the city of Tehran and we have used survey method and structured questionnaire to conduct research and gather data. Results show that demographical variables make no meaningful difference in local identity and overall the extent of local identity among Tehranian is moderate.   Manuscript profile

Paying attention to the concept of citizens' security (especially women) and its improvement methods is considered as one of the primary priorities in urban spaces. For this reason, in the process of urban planning, improving the sense of security in urban environments, especially in historical contexts, has been one of the most important goals in urban life. The main purpose of this research is to identify the components of creating a sense of belonging to the place, as one of the most important areas of the urban historical context, to create security, especially among women in the Jo Bareh neighborhood of Isfahan. The research method is qualitative-quantitative research and the research design is combined (content analysis and survey method) to answer the research question of how the security parameters and the sense of belonging to the place affect the safety of women in the Jo Bareh neighborhood of Isfahan. Is it effective? The research hypothesis emphasizes the significance of the relationship between security and the sense of belonging to a place, which ultimately leads to the security of women in the historical context. The results of the research show that paying attention to the parameters of improving women's sense of security (gender, control, and type of fabric) and the parameters of improving the sense of belonging to a place (ownership, residential history, and memorableness) as the main parameters of this research, which have a two-way relationship in It was proposed to designers and architects for strategic solutions in the historical context of Jo Bareh, Isfahan, to increase the safety of women and the sense of belonging to the place. Urban safe spaces for women have a significant relationship with the expressed variables of a sense of belonging to a home and a sense of security, and the highest correlation was obtained related to natural control, and the lowest was shown for gender.Extended AbstractIntroduction:      Paying attention to the concept of security of citizens (especially women) and ways to improve it is considered one of the fundamental priorities in urban spaces. For this reason, in urban planning, reducing crime and enhancing the sense of security in urban environments, especially in historical contexts, have been one of the most significant goals in urban life. In recent years, various urban plans (comprehensive plans, detailed plans, improvement and renovation plans for historical contexts) have been considered with the aim of improving the physical, functional, social, and economic conditions in the historical contexts of Isfahan city. ; It is possible to mention the improvement projects of historical, cultural and tourism axes (Haruni, Jo Bareh, Jolfa, Jamale, Dar Dasht, Bid Abad, south of Imam Square). Jobareh neighborhood of Isfahan is at a low level in terms of overall social, physical, and economic structures. This rupture of the spatial and social construction has destroyed security in its various aspects, both environmental and social, the selection of the Jobareh neighborhood is important from this point of view; This geographical place is not only the oldest residential neighborhood of Isfahan city but also with the Jame Mosque and the old square and market, it has been neglected as a cultural, economic and residential group and lives in social, cultural and economic poverty. In this neighborhood, due to the existing problems, social bonds have been separated and most of the native people have left the area; Neighborhood residents are experienced by low-income people and Afghan and rural immigrants without a sense of belonging to the place because they are often not owners and their residence period is temporary. According to what has been said, the necessity of conducting this research is to control the spatial and social structure to solve the problems of this neighborhood, especially the safety of women. According to the above, the purpose of this research is to explain the relationship between women's sense of security and the feeling of belonging to a place in the Jo Bareh neighborhood of Isfahan to improve the psychological sence of security of women living in the environment.Methodology:     The type of research conducted in this research is based on primary data and a combination of (quantitative-qualitative) information. In this regard, firstly, from the descriptive-analytical method (content analysis) in the stage of theoretical studies, the use of data obtained from library studies, the subject literature, and the concepts of the feeling of security and the environmental and architectural factors affecting it, as well as the characteristics of the context. the urban worn-out texture, a review, and a theoretical framework for the discussion were set; In the phase of studying the existing situation, a quantitative method of the analytical-survey research plan (statistical analysis) has been used. By being present in the area under study, which is the Jobareh neighborhood of Isfahan, and by using field observations and setting up and distributing questionnaires, the necessary data were collected. and based on Morgan's table, a sample size of 300 women from the Jo Bareh neighborhood is considered. In the analytical method, the problem is not only described; Rather, the causes and effects have been investigated and analyzed. The significance level of the components was analyzed by the method of correlation coefficient analysis. The whole is divided into parts and analyzed separately. Also, the relationships of the ingredients with each other and the factors affecting them have been analyzed. Results and discussion:      The results of the research show that paying attention to the parameters of improving women's sense of security (gender, control, and type of fabric) and the parameters of enhancing the sense of belonging to a place (ownership, residential history, and memorableness) as the main parameters of this research, which have a two-way relationship in It was proposed to designers and architects for strategic solutions in the historical context of Jo Bareh, Isfahan, to increase the safety of women and the sense of belonging to the place. Urban safe spaces for women have a significant relationship with the expressed variables of a sense of belonging to a location and a sense of security, the highest correlation was obtained related to natural control, and the lowest was shown for gender. Conclusion:      Other researchers have also dealt with the mentioned cases, and suggestions have been presented by the researcher, which can be related to things such as: improving worn-out structures to prevent the creation of ruins and unsafe spaces while preserving the values. architecture; Creating spaces and public uses such as mosques, schools and parks in places with little traffic in order to increase the capacity threshold; Periodically holding festivals in order to promote collective culture; Trying to improve the sense of security in the area of worn-out structures by using the participation of the citizens themselves, such as holding events or changing the activity time in the studied area, can be impressive in order to make the area alive at night; widening the alleys and streets and creating mixed uses in them in order to increase the capacity threshold; increasing the permeability and accessibility of urban spaces; Improving the quality of the road network and removing physical and practical obstacles along the path of the sidewalks; improving the condition of road lighting; preventing the creation of remote and dark spaces and providing social supervision of others; Creating changes in the structure of the physical environment and influencing the way people use the environment and increasing citizen surveillance; He pointed out the possibility of more monitoring in all parts of the neighborhood to create public, cultural and sports spaces for the interaction of the residents of the neighborhood in order to increase the sense of belonging to the place and spending leisure time in those spaces in order to reduce social abnormality. High-rise construction is one of the methods of providing urban housing, and nowadays, the examination of their responsiveness in providing the quality of life for residents has been more and more noticed by designers and researchers. The current research, which is of a descriptive-analytical type and was prepared using a survey method, while identifying the effective factors in spatial attachment including "form-physical", "perceptual-emotional" and "activity-functional" and ranking them It deals with the level of residential satisfaction. These components in the formal-physical index include the components of "presence ability", "desired quality", "suitable density", "collective spaces" and "indicative places", in the perceptual-emotional index including the components of "duration of residence". "marital status", "personal income", "gender" and "occupation". The components of "memorable local events", "social interactions", "special activities", "suitability of activity to needs" and "cooperation" are also included in the sub-components of the activity-functional factor. The case study of this research is the Aseman residential complex in Tabriz, and its statistical population consists of the residents of this complex. The results of the surveys show that the perceptual-emotional factor with an average score of (3.610) and the formal-physical factor with an average score of (2.932) had the greatest and least impact on creating attachment to a place, respectively. The components of "presence" (3.02) from the formal-physical factor, "duration of residence" (3.73) from the perceptual-emotional factor and "memorable local events" (3.62) from the activity-functional factor have the highest score. among the relevant sub-components. Also, the findings show that there is a significant relationship between the effective factors in creating attachment and people's satisfaction with living in high-rise buildings. This means that the higher the quality of these components and the higher the level of people's understanding of them, the greater the attachment to the place. In proportion to this promotion of the sense of belonging in people, their level of satisfaction with living in high-rise buildings increases. According to the findings of the research, it is suggested that architects, designers and urban planners in the design of residential complexes, all the effective indicators on creating spatial attachment, including physical (form and composition, natural elements, lighting, visibility and access and ...), activities (social welfare, commercial, recreational and transportation services, diversity of activities, etc.) should be taken into consideration more in advance and provide the basis for the positive impact of individual and social indicators in order to achieve satisfaction. Residents will increase from living in high-rise residential complexes Extended Abstract Introduction:       As one of the important indicators of sustainable urban development, the housing category, if unhealthy, endangers the health and quality of life of a wide range of people in the society and consequently the health of the city. Regarding high-rise buildings and their level of satisfaction, many researchers believe that one of the effects of living in complexes with high population density and unfavorable environmental quality is the weakening of social ties between residents, which itself is the basis for reducing stable communication, non-participation, decreasing the sense of belonging and gradual deterioration of these collections. High-rise construction is one of the methods of providing urban housing, and nowadays, the examination of their responsiveness in providing the quality of life for residents has been more and more noticed by designers and researchers. In Iran, residential complexes in different forms are used as a solution to provide housing, but the examination of the response rate of these complexes to ensure the quality of life for the residents has not been given much attention. Measuring housing satisfaction is complex and depends on many factors. Given that satisfaction, like human nature, is a complex phenomenon with diverse and different indicators, in the present research, the effective factors in place dependence and satisfaction of citizens from living in high-rise buildings were investigated. The factors influencing the creation of a sense of belonging to a place can be considered to be caused by the person and the surrounding environment (with all its characteristics). This is the case with the factors of the "environmental" and the factors that are affected by the social factors, and the social factors. Local cooperation and local visas create memories, etc., and personal factors include mental images and personal characteristics, etc. Such as mental images, satisfaction, security, relationships, expectations and previous belongings, and personal characteristics have the factors of job, type of residence, reference culture and length of stay. Methodology: The current research, which is of a descriptive-analytical type and was prepared using a survey method, while identifying the effective factors in spatial attachment including "form-physical", "perceptual-emotional" and "activity-functional" and ranking them It deals with the level of residential satisfaction. The questions raised around each indicator were prepared and completed by the statistical community based on the five-point Likert scale. In order to determine the validity of the questionnaire, the content validity method was used qualitatively. The reliability of the questionnaires was also evaluated using Cronbach's alpha calculation method equal to (0.876). Finally, the collected data were processed with SPSS software at two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics and analyzed with Pearson's correlation coefficient test.   Results and discussion: The results of the surveys show that the perceptual-emotional factor with an average score of (3.610) and the formal-physical factor with an average score of (2.932) had the greatest and least impact on creating attachment to a place, respectively. In the interpretation of these findings, it can be pointed out that the satisfaction of citizens has a deep relationship with a person's understanding and feeling about an object, subject, place, etc. Events, images, people and belongings in an environment create a memory and mentality in a person and cause feelings such as happiness, enthusiasm, sadness, sadness and memories in a person, which is associated with the creation of attachment. Form-physical factors as well as activity-functional factors, although each of them has some kind of effect in creating a memory and place attachment, but considering that the form-physical factors undergo changes over time, such as additions, colors and lighting, etc. and the activity-functional factors also cause the removal and addition of some activities by changing the use and converting some spaces into future needed spaces to other factors. Conclusion:      In a general summary and according to the findings of the research, it can be concluded that all three mentioned factors had a positive effect in creating a sense of belonging and place attachment, but the effect of perceptual-emotional factors was better. So, It is suggested that architects, designers and urban planners in the design of residential complexes, all the effective indicators on creating spatial attachment, including physical (form and composition, natural elements, lighting, visibility and access and ...), activities (social welfare, commercial, recreational and transportation services, diversity of activities, etc.) should be taken into consideration more in advance and provide the basis for the positive impact of individual and social indicators in order to achieve satisfaction residents will increase from living in high-rise residential complexes. The sense of belonging to a place is related to the amount of human presence in the environment. Regardless of the reason, this presence is not just a quantitative aspect to express numbers and figures, but also has a qualitative aspect that is due to the reasons for human presence in urban spaces and places. In the meantime, urban design can promote the sense of belonging to a place among citizens by providing suitable patterns. In this article, by comparing the factors affecting the sense of belonging to the place in four different neighborhoods of Sanandaj city, it is tried to determine the reason for the residential behavior of the citizens. In this research, using a researcher-made questionnaire with 331 numbers and using the Pearson correlation test, the questions will be tested. In this research, we have come to the conclusion that the factors affecting the sense of belonging to the place among citizens are different in different neighborhoods, for example, in the old or middle neighborhood, historical and cultural factors can play a colorful role in promoting the sense of belonging to a place. But in new urban areas, physical factors such as open and recreational spaces, facilities and natural elements can play an important role in the sense of place. As a result, people in old and new neighborhoods gain dimensions of sense of belonging and lose dimensions that ideally, in order to gather as many factors as possible on the sense of belonging to a place in a neighborhood, the first step is to identify and compare the factors. It was discussed in this article. Manuscript profile

Introduction Arvandrud has many facilities, but due to the war and economic conditions, it has many problems. Therefore, in order to solve the problems of Arvand River, the main goal of the research is to analyze the factors affecting the improvement of citizens' sense of belonging in the parks along the Orand River in Iran.Methodology The current research, using the qualitative-quantitative research method and the method of collecting information in the form of library and field studies, using the questionnaire tool and chi-square statistic along with the content analysis method, investigates the factors affecting the improvement of citizens' sense of belonging in the parks along the Arvand River. the payment. Based on this, Arvand River axis was divided into four areas and then each area was analyzed separately.Geographical area of research The study area of this research is the edge of the Arvand River, which is located in the southwest of Khuzestan province with an area of 37 thousand hectares and a population of 382 thousand people, and includes parts of Abadan and Khoramshahr cities, where the urban areas of Abadan, Khoramshahr and Minoushahr are located. Results and discussion The results showed that the physical and environmental components of these areas have the greatest impact on people's sense of belonging. This type of influence in axes 1 and 2 has a higher percentage. Besides, axis two is the most suitable axis from people's point of view due to its proximity to the river from two directions. Meanwhile, axis 3 has the least impact on the sense of belonging of the citizens of this axis due to its small proportions and lack of diverse and suitable vegetation. In general, the studies showed that the environmental, social, functional and physical components in axis 1 created the greatest sense of belonging. This is despite the fact that the same components have assigned a lower percentage in relation to creating a sense of belonging in other measured axes. Conclusion The results showed that among the four factors (physical, functional, social and environmental), the physical characteristics of the elements of this range are in the first degree of importance in terms of improving the sense of belonging to citizens and transient people. Then, it is the physical connection of these elements and their function that has affected the sense of belonging of the citizens. Manuscript profile

Traditional neighborhoods are part of a city that have lost their identity due to physical or functional weakness and cannot create a sense of belonging among their residents. The erosion of the residential fabric of these neighborhoods has affected the social and economic activities and has led to a sharp decrease in the quality of life and the quality of the environment. Since attachment to a place is a strong stimulus for maintaining and promoting communities and their related social capital, in order to create a sense of belonging to the residential context in these neighborhoods, it is necessary to pay attention to concepts such as human relationship with place, identity and sense of belonging. In this regard, the general purpose of this article is to investigate the relationship between the components of architectural identity (symbols, decorations, patterns of the past) and attachment to place in Aghazaman neighborhood of Sanandaj city. In order to achieve this goal, the present research, using the descriptive-analytical method to collect information in the form of documents and survey, with the collection tool in the form of a questionnaire, first examined the correlation between the components of identity and attachment to the place and Then, it identifies the effective indicators in predicting the dependent variable (attachment to the place) which, using the statistical method of structural equations, the results of the research have shown that the direct effect of the identity components on the attachment to the neighborhood is equal to 0.15, the amount of variance It has been explained that the variable of attachment to the neighborhood through identity-forming components is equal to 0.89 and the Pearson correlation coefficient of identity-forming components to attachment to the place is equal to 0.456. The results of the research show that in relation to the index of identity building components, the most important influential factors are the use of past patterns, decorations and symbols, as well as in relation to the index of attachment to the neighborhood, staying in the neighborhood, social communication and participation in The neighborhood has been found as an influencing factor in Aghazaman neighborhood. Therefore, the findings of the research show the role of identity-building components in creating attachment to a place, and this result shows the value of using identity-building components in creating attachment to a place. The purpose of this research was to compare the role of mass and social media in cultural changes with an emphasis on belonging to the national identity of teenagers. The research method was causal-comparative. The statistical population of the research consists of all adolescents (13-17 years old) of Ardabil city, numbering 50,000, of which 380 people were selected as a sample by cluster random sampling. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire for the media and a standard questionnaire by Selgi et al. (2014) were used for the feeling of belonging to the national identity. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to estimate the form and content validity of the questionnaires from the experts' and professors' point of view, and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to estimate the reliability of the questionnaires, which was higher than 0.7 for the questionnaires. Data were analyzed through t-test and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) in SPSS software. The results showed that mass and social media play a different role in the feeling of belonging to the national identity and its dimensions (social, historical, cultural and political) among teenagers (P<0.01). So that the feeling of belonging to the national identity and its dimensions among the teenagers whose media consumption is of a social type is less than the teenagers who are of a collective type. 5.7% of cultural belonging, 7.7% of historical belonging, 9.7% of political belonging and 14.7% of social belonging of teenagers are explained through the difference in the effect of the type of media (collective and social). Therefore, it is concluded that the type of media plays an important role in the cultural changes of teenagers in general and the feeling of belonging to the national identity in particular. Sound comfort is one of the discussions that has double importance in the library. This research has been investigated and compared in the reading rooms of girls and boys of Tabriz library. In order to improve the sense of attachment to the place in libraries, the importance and necessity of achieving a proper sound distribution increases. Research objectives; Achieving acoustic comfort and a sense of belonging to the place for users in the library and the desirability of the environment. From the recent studies in the field of library, architectural dependent and independent acoustic variables (geometric, subjective, objective, proportions) have been separated. The research method is descriptive and through the correlation of the mentioned variables and it was done by distributing the questionnaire and analyzing the data in SPSS software. The results of the research mean users' opinions in the geometric dimension of girls 3.087 and boys 3.579, in the mental dimension girls 4.093 and boys 3.998, in the objective dimension girls 3.828 and boys 3.733 and in the aspect of proportions girls 3.938 and boys 804 It shows 3/ and it means that; The mental dimension has the highest effect and the level of attachment of girls is the highest among both sexes. Therefore, it is emphasized that in order to improve the sense of place in the design of study and educational spaces, more attention should be paid to the use of surfaces with fibers and shells, and in some parts, the use of holes. The innovation of the research acknowledges that the range of wide and higher frequencies produced by the larynx of girls makes it more necessary to use fibers and shells on the surfaces of spaces reserved for girls in order to increase the sense of attachment to the place by creating acoustic comfort.
