The value of a brand lies in its associations with specific mindset and perception of its use in context. In this research, brand social power is considered as the perception that customers have about brandspecifications in the process of making purchasing decisions. Using French and Raven (1959)typology of social influence, five social power bases of brand are identified which correspond to theiroriginal power bases. Assuming the ability of brands to meet various social needs of customers, markets can be segmented, and the target segments can be identified on the basis of those needs. Therefore, referring to Hersey and Blanchard’s situational leadership theory, the readiness levels ofemployees (followers) are generalized to the subjective readiness levels of customers in order toobtain a new indicator for market segmentation, so that, according to each level, we can focus on asingle social power dimension in our market positioning strategies. This research aims to identify theeffect of brand social dimensions based on subjective readiness levels on the purchasing decision ofcustomers. In this survey-descriptive study using random classified sampling, information wasobtained from 382 students using a valid and reliable questionnaire. Structural equation modelingbased on partial least squares was used to analyze data and test the hypotheses. The results suggest thatthe effect of brand social power dimensions based on different levels of customer subjective readinesson purchasing decisions vary. Manuscript profile

Over the past years, technological leaps and consecutive innovations in production processes have led to immense and unprecedented changes in the global industrial vista. In this midst, we are witness to the nascence of new concepts such as “industry 4.0,” which have become the topic of increasing focus by researchers. In the present study, existing research work on the models and assessment readiness criteria for the adoption of industry 4.0 are overviewed. The new industrial paradigm resulting from the integration of  technologies that are based on physical cyber systems and digital transformation will radically change both the industry and the economy. Against this significant backdrop, the fundamental industry 4.0 readiness criteria have been identified and a suitable process framework for the readiness assessment of the country’s firms and enterprises is put to the fore. At the outset, all major scientific databases, i.e., Springer, Emerald, Sage, and Science Direct, including 40 scientific papers on readiness assessment and indicators of firms’ maturity level for the adoption of industry 4.0, were considered. Out of these articles, 16 were selected and subsequent to their comparative review, the resulting criteria for the assessment of the readiness and maturity of firms were extracted with a view to their suitability for Iranian firms and industrial parks. To this end a combination of methodologies such as expert panels, the DEMATEL method, and the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) approach were used to develop the process model, which subsequent to preliminary validation, was detailed in terms of criteria content and applicability to operational environments.   Manuscript profile

Given the growing importance of small and medium-sized enterprises and the role that e-readiness and e-commerce development have in reducing their costs and expanding their operations, evaluating e-readiness status for entering e-commerce field is important in SMEs. Therefore, the design of e-readiness assessment models is appropriate to the internal and environmental conditions of organizations and communities with the aim of measuring their e-readiness level and without assessing the electronic readiness of the organization, the activity in the world of the impossible network or its barriers will be very high. In this paper, while introducing a brief overview of the proposed models for assessing e-readiness and their classification, the factors influencing the e-readiness of SMEs in order to enter the e-commerce field have been investigated and identified with a meta-integration approach. Then, in order to better understand the variables that affect this relationship and understand the existing dynamics, using a modeling of system dynamics approach and drawing causal loop diagrams (CLD), was introduced an e-readiness assessment model for SMEs to enter the e-commerce field and finally, simulation was carried out by Vensim software. The two major scenarios of increasing advertising and system quality were evaluated and analyzed as model levers. The simulation results indicate a positive impact of system quality and advertising on the e-readiness of firms, with the difference, the impact of system quality on e-readiness of firms is more than the impact of advertising on increasing e-readiness. Tehran peri-urban areas encounter with several institutional and instrumental dispersions. Undoubtedly, spatial management requires a spatial decision support system that is dynamic and interactive. Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) is an effective approach in spatial information management which has made great progress in recent years. This research, while recognition the influential institutions in the integrated management of the capital's peri-urban areas, evaluates the factors and criteria of readiness for the establishment of spatial data infrastructure. Data collection was done through interviews and questionnaires, used the SDI readiness index method. 25 selected public and government institutions were evaluated in 16 evaluation criteria and institutional readiness index and readiness index was calculated. In general, the two factors of Technology and Information, in comparison with the three factors of Organization, Human Resources and Financial, face less challenges and problems in establishing a spatial data infrastructure, but overall, no significant difference was observed between the factors. In a more detailed analysis, the criterion of private capital and return on investment are not very good compared to other criteria. Also, in this research, four institutions were found to be more ready and three institutions were less prepared than others to implement SDI. The readiness index in the peri-urban influential institutions was calculated as 0.47, which is slightly below the average. At the end, in order to remove the obstacles, suggestions were presented focused on: strengthening the private sector, increasing public awareness and managers, reforming the attitude of governance and data power and expanding the culture of information dissemination, promoting inter-institutional cooperation, focusing on data infrastructure projects instead of creating inefficient systems. The world markets have opened their gates to the free exchange of goods and services, investments, and other economic activities. The hurdles which used to be in the way of international trade have now been eliminated, and the development of communication media has diminished the barriers of time and distance in the commercial transactions. The extensive changes in different areas have altered the nature of economic endeavors dramatically, and the current situation of the market allows all kinds of commercial activities. However, taking advantage of this situation for global trade requires developing the exporters' capabilities. One of the most important steps in this regard is measuring the rate of the exporting Firms' readiness to effectively enter the world markets, and different models have been devised for this purpose. One of them is "Export Readiness Assessment”, which has immense application in carrying out the researches relating to this field and often leads to determining the necessity or lack of necessity of adopting strategic alliances, which have an important role in the global trade. In this paper, initially the alliances strategies and their various models will be studied. Then, the results of a field research concerning the assessment of the exporting firms' capabilities will be presented based on the ERA model.   Manuscript profile

In the third millennium, higher education is moving from a single-function and single-institution entity toward the multi-function and multi-dimensional one. Therefore, it is confronting new challenges. The best possible safeguard against these challenges is quality. Thus, total quality management (TQM), with its considerable results in industry and business, is now entering the higher education system. Educational and research quality is one of the concerns of higher education systems, and universities have always struggled to attain it. The constant promotion of higher education quality requires educational assessment. During the past two decades noticeable attempts have been made in many countries to enhance higher education quality and to attain the objectives of higher education systems. The main objective of the present research is to determine the rate of university chancellors’ readiness to establish comprehensive quality and productivity management. In this study, the six principles of commitment, customer orientation, realism, collaboration, training, and continuous improvement have been considered as the TQM principles. The statistical population consisted of all the personnel of Islamic Azad University, Zanjan Branch, from among whom 111people were selected as the research sample through the use of random sampling method. For data analysis, Spss software was used, and the data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially. Background : The physical growth pattern is driven by the genetic, but under the influence of environmental factors such as exercise, there may be changes in growth patterns and chronological and biological age may not match. The aim of the present study was to determine the relationship between calendar age and biological age with strength, speed, agility and balance of Kyokushin karate boys in Rasht. Method: The present study was a correlational descriptive study. The population of this research was Kyokushin Karate boys aged 12-30 of from Rasht city, 55 of them were selected non – randomly and available as a sample. In order to measure the research variables, physical fitness tests (strength, speed, agility, power and balance) and body composition (BMI and body fat percentage) were used. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient and t-statistics to compare two correlation coefficients. Results: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between chronological age and anaerobic power, hand strength, agility and static and dynamic balance(p< 0.05). Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between biological age and anaerobic power, hand strength, agility and dynamic balance(p< 0.05). Conclusion: With the increase in the chronological and biological age of karate practitioners, we saw an increase in power and strength; however, speed decreased, which was not far off as body size increased. Also, static balance was only associated with increasing chronological age, which probably indicates that the growth of the skeletal-muscular system during puberty exceeds motor and balance growth. One of the factors that can cause success or failure in using e-learning is students' readiness to participate in e-learning courses. Among the factors that could be effective in readiness of students to participate such e-learning courses are self-regulated learning strategies and tendency to critical thinking. Thus, the aim of the study was to investigate the role of self-regulated learning strategies and tendency to critical thinking in students' readiness to participate in e-learning courses. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included all students of Kharazmi University in 2013. Using random sampling method, 250 individuals were selected as sample. To collect the data, the Ricketts' tendency to critical thinking and self-regulated learning strategies questionnaires, as well as students' readiness to participate in e-learning scale were used. Descriptive (mean, standard deviation) and inferential (correlation, regression and independent t tests) statistics were used for data analysis. The results showed that the correlation of self-regulated learning strategies with students' readiness to participate in e-learning was 0.23 (R2= 0.05) and of critical thinking with students' readiness to participate in e-learning courses is 0.24 (R2= 0.07). So students' readiness to participate in e-learning courses can be predicted through self-regulated learning strategies and tendency to critical thinking. Results of t test showed that there was no significant difference between male and female, as well as graduate and undergraduate students in terms of readiness to participate in e-learning courses.
