One of the most important areas of literary psychology is devoted to the  analysis of the psychological processes of the mind. Carl Gustav Jung, the Swiss pioneer of this area, known as Analytical Psychology, put the mind on a higher level than the previous psychologists, including his master, Freud. He added "collective unconscious" to those analyses. He believed that man may exceed his individual boundaries and enter a world of the "collective unconscious." What set Jung apart from his peers in the discussion of the "collective unconscious" was attention to the "eternal form" or "archetype." And that’s what Jung believed shapes our personality and behavior, as well as what makes us different from others due to the formation of personality and behavior. Like any other human being, Saadi was also influenced by these archetypes, and it can be claimed that, under these influences, he engaged in literary creations and the creation of brilliant literary anecdotes. One of the most important archetypes influencing Saadi was the archetype of "shadow", but what distinguishes Saadi from others is his reluctance to conceal the influence of this archetype on his behavior and personality. The analysis of contemporary novels is one of the most important approaches to the narrative critique through the "individuality process" pattern based on Carl Gustav Young's vote. This pattern is about the self-consciousness of self-consciousness and growth. The research approach of this article is to analyze the novels of Prince Touraj Zahedi's house based on the model of Young's individuality process, because the discovery of these concepts and their use in modern literary criticism has many uses. The main purpose of this research is to adapt the mystical journey of Reza Razavi's personality to the pattern of Young's individuality process, which makes the hero of the story come to an unity with his inner self, control the negative aspects of his soul and restore his soul to life. This essay uses an analytical-descriptive method to ascertain that a person needs to be familiar with and integrate with an analogue of mask, anima or animus, and to integrate with them in order to eventually achieve the process of individuality. Research findings indicate that Reza Razavi, the main character of this novel, is invited to search the inner world for human perfection. In order to understand himself, he traverses all stages of ritualistic conduct by knowing Anima, receiving ancient guidance and battle with various aspects of his shadow. Manuscript profile

Archetypal literary Criticism is one of the most important and widely used contemporary literary criticism methods, which examines the nature of archetypes and their role in literature. The views and opinions of contemporary psychologists and psychoanalysts open a new window on the reader and reveal the connection of literary works with other sciences. This insight reveals the hidden angles of a literary or mystical work. From Jung's point of view, the process of individuality is a kind of maturity and mental development of human beings; Achieving it requires the integrated interaction of all psychological dimensions of one's personality; A clear example of these archetypes of individuality in the spiritual Masnavi, which is one of the best examples of mystical works, , Is manifested. These concepts are presented in a body of allegories and symbols, which engages the conscious and unconscious mind of the reader, so Masnavi is a suitable platform for archetypal criticism. Jung and Rumi seek to map out the path to human perfection; The category that has been emphasized in this research. With the activation of archetypes, the sending of the call for unity and oneness into the conscious realm of the psyche begins and the process of individualization begins. In the story of the bankrupt prisoner from the second book of Masnavi, the components of the process of individuality are deciphered and it is shown how a harmony has been created between the conscious and the unconscious through the problems and shadows inside and the flexibility of the persona; Finally, by analyzing Rumi's codes with Jungian archetypes, the process of individuality and self-knowledge in the poor prisoner is shown. This article has been done analytically-descriptively using library studies. Manuscript profile

Psychoanalysis is one of the most important theories which focuses on the inner and hidden meanings of the story. Currently, with the connection of literature and psychology more and more, we can find a way to discover the meaning hidden in the texts. Jung's theory of individuality reviews the realization of the archetype of the self, i.e. the balance between external and internal forces with the desire for evolution in the individual. We are going to reread a story from Masnavi with this perspective. Since Rumi is a mystic who has a symbolist mind and wrote the Masnavi in the form of a mystical work, the work is potential for archetypal criticism. Thus, the present research tries to analyze the content, symbols and archetypes to extract the correct story and by understanding them and matching with the equal symbol for them, based on Jung's theory of individuation, draw this process. The result of the research indicates that in this story, Rumi has proposed transcendence with mystical principles in reaching the process of individuality, and finally, Rumi's goal, which is to achieve perfection and self-knowledge, is in line with Jung's theory. This research has been investigated with a library-documentary method, with an analytical-descriptive approach. Manuscript profile

Inserting tale-like verses in his ghazals is among Rumi’s command of composing this literary genre. This is an altered way he employs to convey the notion of mysticism. The fusion of tales and ghazals results in some certain narrative ghazals through which Rumi presents us with his ideas. These narrative ghazals reflect some pure experiences of mysticism that help the readers digest them much better. They have been studied and explored by many researchers throughout recent years; however, they have hardly been studied via a morphological approach. Introduced by Vladimir Propp, morphology is a relatively new approach in analyzing stories in order to recognize the functions and principles of a story. The present article aims at studying through a morphological approach a ghazal by Rumi in order to give a comprehensive understanding of “descension and ascension” as realized by Rumi. This article studies “diction” in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. Diction has different meanings and is so frequently used that amounts to the signification of “speech” as one of the bases of “thinking good thoughts, saying good words, and doing good deeds” in Shahnameh. Ferdowsi based his versification of Shahnameh on this so-called triangle to depict a clear picture of man’s life as he deserves it, i.e. a worthy life founded on this triangle. In his Shahnameh, Ferdowsi has used the term “diction” more than two thousand times, either as a single, derivative or compound word, in its literal and metaphorical senses. Then the researcher has tried to scan and study the term in all its form as used by Ferdowsi in order to discover his viewpoint of this signifier – as the sole distinction of human and animals – and its relation to the signified. Although parallel researches can reveal the significance and function of every single word in the structure of this masterpiece of Ferdowsi, the word “diction” undoubtedly matters more, for it is his only means both to narrate his Shahnameh and to express his knowledge and wisdom and his understanding and judgment. Moreover, studying “diction” in Shahnameh brings out Ferdowsi’s adroit use of the term and lets us know not only how he thought about the world but how the characters of his narratives uncover their true selves through speaking.  Manuscript profile

Death as an absolute necessity, bound to happen, is unique and belongs to human beings. Whatever we know of death is assured, or at least seems to be the most absolute knowledge of us as human beings. It is an inescapable reality that all creatures will experience it later or sooner. The humankind worldview of death is based on his attitudes towards life. Some people believe that it is attractive and fascinating, while others find it horrible and disgusting. It is clear that the way people try to believe in death has roots in their lifestyles and attitudes towards life. Hossein Monzavi, aka “The King of Ghazal”, the famous poet of 1960s and 1970s, could revive ghazal and made it enthralling and romantic. Some of Monzavi’s ghazals are about death, and he attempts to reveal his attitudes towards the concept of death as a bound to happen. He sometimes believes in death doubtlessly, and sometimes fights it. Despite some contradictions in some of his ghazals about death, he doesn’t believe in death as something absurd and conjectural. This paper aims, through an analytical- descriptive method and by investigating Monzavi’s ghazals, to study his worldview and understanding of death. Manuscript profile

Irony is one of the most important and beautiful aspects of eloquence, which is made by people. It is a part of their daily lives. Irony is a valuable character of conveying the meaning and thoughts indirectly. This valuable character is as old as the life if us as human beings. So a large number of it could be found in literal texts.it has been of importance to the poets during the time and they have used it. It can be said that there is no poets who has not used irony in their works. Since, in Persian, irony is a flexible and, also, a cultural point; it has a crucial role in conveying the poets’ message and idea in an indirect way. The present study analyzed the irony in Amir Khusro Dehlavi’s Shirin and Khusro to show how much he could avoid trivial and repetitive and show his thoughts. The present study deals with knowing which type of irony was Amir Khusro’s favorite. According to the analysis, Amir Khusro had used the ironies that are known and used by people more than those that were innovative and made by him. His purpose was to not only make the work more beautiful and influential, but also avoid making the readers tired of explicit and logical words. Manuscript profile
