This article is an analysis based on Norman Fairclough's theory in the Ataba Al-Kataba with a pragmatic approach that examines and analyzes linguistic forms, their purposes and functions based on Fairclough's views. The theoretical basis of the research is in the framework of a three-level (layered) model of description, interpretation and explanation. The dimensions of discourse are very prominent in "Schools and Letters of Ataba al-Katabah" due to the close connection between language and social structures and the influence of the text on social relations. In this text, in addition to the effect of power relations, specific language choices that are specific to the style of this period are distinguished in the process of meaning production. The purpose of this study is to show the type and style of twentieth century discourse and to show the power of the author (Montajeb Jovini) in the form of his discourse. The different view on introduction and analysis of Ataba Al-Kataba is another goal of this study. This research has been conducted by descriptive-analytical method and it is examined by qualitative content analysis method and citing the text of the letters and mentioning the evidence of the example. The field of comparative literature is one of the largest and most extensive fields of study in world literature, which can open many openings for literary enthusiasts to know nations, literature, cultures, traditions and thoughts. Among the great Iranian and British writers, many people have heard the names of Abbas Maroufi and Ms. Virginia Woolf and are not familiar with their valuable works that have undoubtedly influenced the literature of their country and the world. The novels "Symphony of the Deads" by Abbas Maroofi (1957) and "Towards the Lighthouse" by Virginia Woolf (1942-1882) are valuable and great works of Persian and English literature that have their own unique features and characteristics that comparative study of their narration based on modern narrative, the proposed format and structure of the fluid flow of the mind, while facilitating their literary understanding, can provide a new way in the practical study of modern and postmodern comparative literature. Ali Nameh is the first religious epic in Persian literature traced back to fifth A.H. The composer of this versified story is a Shia poet alias to Rabi’e who has composed the descriptions of Imam Ali’s combats, especially his combats in Jamal and Sefein, versus Shahnameh. Applying a descriptive-analytical method and library references, the present paper aims to determine the influence level of this less known religious epic from the stylistic elements of Shahnameh linguistically. This is a comparative study; therefore, at first, we have chosen two stories from Shahnameh, “Rostam’s combat with Ashkbous” and “Amroas’s combat with Imam Ali” and Ali Nameh composed by Rabi’e. The stories were compared and contrasted phonologically, morphologically and syntactically in order to figure out their common and distinct features linguistically. The findings reveal that although Ali Nameh has been composed against Shahnameh 70 years after that, it is highly affected by Shahnameh in term of linguistic styles. In fact, Ali Nameh includes a majority of phonological, morphological and syntactic features of Shahnameh and its Khorasani style. The high level of influence from Shahnameh proves that Shahnameh has always been considered as an indicator and stylist work which has inspired other epic poets. Manuscript profile

In recent years, statistical analysis is used as a tool to evaluate the independent characteristics of texts. Keith Johnson, one of the theorists of statistical stylistics, believes that the style of that text can be obtained by calculating the ratio of the vocabulary of each text. In translation studies, this model can also be used to check the vocabulary diversity of the target text and compare it with the source text. The Inside Out (2015) is the winner of the Oscar award for the best animation, which was well received due to the fascinating subject of psychology and artistic depictions of mental concepts. In terms of style, the script of this animation is full of general and specialized words, a feature that is also evident in the translation of the script. In this research, an attempt is made to compare the lexical diversity of the Arabic and Persian dubbing of the above animation by relying on the descriptive-analytical method and referring to Johnson's model. The results show that the vocabulary of the Arabic dubbing of animation (52%) is more diverse than its Persian dubbing (45%). The reason for this variety of vocabulary can be found in the word production process in Arabic (based on derivation) and its clear difference from the word production process in Persian language (based on composition); Because the process of derivation provides the possibility of producing more diverse words than the process of composition. Poets who wrote about the imposed war are divided in two groups; the first group of poets are influenced by the trend of the Islamic Revolution, whose literary and artistic life was formed or highlighted during the Islamic Revolution and the imposed war. The second group consists of poets who had a significant reputation before the Islamic Revolution and wrote about the necessity and sense of duty about the imposed war. Mehdi Akhavan Sales is from the second group. Before the Islamic Revolution, he was a prominent poet and with the beginning of the war, he used his epic and artistic poetic language to save the country from foreign aggression. This study examines the poems of Akhavan Sales about the imposed war and analyzes them from a stylistic point of view- based on the intellectual level. The result of the research is that Akhavan, as a pro-Iranian and pioneer poet, in spite of his religious and political differences with the dominant discourse and poets of the Islamic Revolution, is remarkably close to the desirable identity model of the governance in his war poems Manuscript profile

Fatwat or chivalry is a social movement and spiritual impulse in the culture of ancient Iran, which has been mixed with the Quranic culture and the foundations of the Muhammadan Sharia (PBUH) since the introduction of the religion of Islam to the vast geography of Iran, and has been widespread among the masses of the people of that time. This research, using the method of qualitative content analysis and referring to valid library documents, investigated the effectiveness of the style of Soltani's fatut-nameh from the style of Golestan and Saadi's epistles, based on the theory of intertextuality, and reached the following results: Soltani's fatut-nameh It has been most influenced by the luminous verses and blessed surahs of the Holy Quran and the works of Saadi Shirazi. Waez Kashfi has embellished the Quranic teachings and the basics of Islamic mysticism in the style of prose mixed with order and masterful imitation of the authorities of Hariri, Badiul Zaman and Saadi Shirazi. Because emotional states make people's character and the poet, like other members of the society, is influenced by emotional states and feelings and emotions, and his artistic personality, which is actually his style, is developed in this way. So, if two or more poets lived in a certain geography at the same time and wrote poetry, it cannot necessarily be said that they have the same style. Manuscript profile

Rhetoric scholars have always tried to understand the true meanings of words that express the true meaning of the appealing and preferential style. It is obvious that this style of expression is sometimes used semantically from one meaning to another simultaneously; and sometimes it's possible that these two styles of expression shift according to the context of their application, in a way that their applications were not easily identifiable and determinable; so that the proximity of the meanings (appealing and preferential) is such that sometimes the two mentioned implements are used interchangeably and this application is very popular among the rhetoric scholars. The main point is to explain the aesthetic significance of the meanings of these words and the implements used in two expression styles, and to clarify how they are applied in Qur'an. The method of the article is qualitative and exemplary analysis technique in some Verses of Qur'an and abstract discussions are avoided. The result of the study shows that linguistic structure is not an impartial and unbiased structure in expression and presentation, and when it is used as an insignificant appealing or preferential combination, it would not be limited to them but should incorporate a structure of both meanings and the intended meaning as needed should be provided. Its purpose is to reveal the relationships that bind these structures, in order to reach the uniqueness of the literary discourse in terms of its linguistic structure and the realization of the artistic and literary value that lies behind it. This study aimed to study the stylistics and style of language and terminology and its three levels: The phonemic level, the semantic level, and the syntactic level, and made a stylistic comparison in two poems: One is Shams al-Din al-Kufi and the other for Ibn Shahid. In the first poem, the poet laments his beloved city "Baghdad" and in the other he weeps for his loss of “Cordoba”. After studying the stylistic features and characteristics in both poems and comparing them, the conclusion is that both poets have used stylistic features to give it meanings that the apparent language is unable to convey to the recipient. Upon comparison, it became clear that each of them had surpassed in some characteristics over its owner and failed in others. and there is an intentional balance in the rhythm of the two poems. Mahmood Muhammad Al- mousavi known as Mahmood Manaf is one of the anonymous poets in the world of Arab literature today. In addition to his poetic language, he is famous for his poetic genius out of which he gained invaluable experiences. They give value to the generations with the framework of linguistic elements, aiming at accomplishing perfection. Employing descriptive-analytic research method, the present study seeks to investigate one of his doctrinal poems named " major debate" based on Roman Jacobson's theory. Jacobson presents six language functions within his communicative theory: motivating, emotive, poetic, uniting (or possessive), symbolic and metalingual. The study also, relying on three stylistic levels, namely intellectual, literal and linguistic, investigates his poetic functions with a view on emotive, poetic and motivating functions. One of the findings of the study indicates that the poet is honest in his enthusiasm since he uses complete ballade which is one the most comprehensive ballades; he uses that in order to highlight simple and unsophisticated emotions such as rage, joy and pride. Likewise, another conclusion is that the proportion of voiced letters is more than that of voiceless ones, which is in concordance with the general atmosphere of the poem because it shows the severity of his anger at the Umayyad’s policy. In all these matters, we see emotive and motivating functions as an outstanding role. The conclusion reached at out of the stylistic investigation of imagery and its function in this ballade is that Mahmud Manaf employs simile and metaphor . Manuscript profile

Discourse stylistics is influenced by critical discourse analysis and role-oriented linguistics, which goes beyond the sentence level in literary texts and analyzes the text in the context of the situation. In this method, in addition to traditional stylistic analysis, content, influence of thoughts, ideology, and the atmosphere of text creation are explained and examined. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method to discover and recognize the various layers of Tazkirat al-Awliya as an outstanding mystical work, and examines the relationship between the layers of text, and language and ideology of the author. The results indicate that in the lexical level, the employment of religious vocabulary is influenced by the ideology of the text , highlighting the virtue and attention to the hereafter. This invites the reader to a world-hatred discourse of the text.  The high frequency of informative and imperative objects and active verbs has resulted in the certainty and dogmatism of the text in the syntactic layer, and in the layer of pragmatics, explicit and persuasive morphemes have been used in the form of many news sentences, which show the author's awareness, belief and understanding of the issues raised. As a matter of fact, the author informs others about his inner desires and feelings, concerns and truths that is bound to. In the meta level, the text encourages the reader to leave the material world behind, and to devote to virtuous and ascetic life manifested in the dominant discourse of the text.   Manuscript profile

Disagreeing means inconsistency and expression of words and sentences that are signs of dissatisfaction. If the opposition is rooted in socio-political anomalies, then the "opposition" is someone who takes on the role of fighting injustice and social corruption, especially among powerful groups in society, and using the opportunities that exist in the hand of power. Due to his criticism of social condition, Hafez is deemed amongst the poets of disagreement who utilizes symbolic words to take side with ethico-social norms. In his social, anti-readings he challenges the religious hypocrites who are corrupted.  The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze symbolic characters as one of the characteristics of intellectual style in opposition to social readings of Hafez's poetry, which has been done using a descriptive-analytical method. Shahrokh-Nameh is an epic-historical poems of the poet of the 10th century AH Mirza Muhammad Qasemi Gonabadi. The topic of this Masnavi is about of conquests, Justice, journeys, honesty, goodness and braveries of Shahrokh, the the ruler of the Timurid Empire from coronation to death. In this manuscript, beside a brief introduction of the poet, the stylistic features of his poems are explained at three levels of linguistic, literary and intellectual in a layered manner. By reviewing the poems, in addition to the epic themes, it appears that many of the verses are different from the epic atmosphere of the poems. Therefore, this is a martial and festive work which the existence of beautiful idols in battle scenes and even bringing SĀQI-NĀMA at the end of each topic has made this feature even more prominent. Qassemi has created a new style of saga. By carefully examining the issues and events of the stories, the authors reached the point that Shahrokh-Nameh is a combination of epic, history and lyric. Qasemi's lexical games indicate his dominance of vocabulary, metre and rhythm in poetry. Qasemi's imagery depicts his skill in imagination and meaning and to the fullest extent; it is the use of words, expressions and lyrical images to express epic adventures. Manuscript profile

Using new branches of stylistics and retrieval of appropriate tools for analyzing Persian texts can open a new window to them. the present descriptive and content analysis study attempted to examine the novel of Hasti (Existence) by Farhad Hassanzadeh, which has received a lot of attention in terms of critical stylistics, in the context of narrative and textual macro-layers with the analysis of focalization, the degree of continuity of focalization (variable and multiple focalization) and focalization facets (the perceptual facet of time in order, duration, frequency, location, and the ideological facet), as well as the phonetic, lexical, syntactic, pragmatic and rhetorical sub-layers in relation to its outer layer (situational context). The findings suggested that there are some stylistic variables in the text that has led to the discovery of an ideology and the explanation of current social issues such as war, poverty, etc. On the other hand, the type of employing the sentences with respect to audience analysis has encouraged the adolescent audience to welcome the novel and has led to its national and international success. Taqi Danesh, one of the early Qajar and late Pahlavi‘s traditional and anonymous poets, tremendously influenced by poetry of Khorasani, Azerbaijani, Iraqi, and especially Hindu style. Regarding Taghi Danesh‘s lyrics and poems and taking famous Hindu poets into consideration, two contradictory views (co-reading and contra-reading) could be grasped. In other words, once he followed traditional, repetitive, cliché and one-dimensional literary styles (poetic style of Khorasani, Azerbaijani and Iraqi) in poetic elements and phenomenon, famous fictitious, historical, mythic and Qurani characters. And another time breaking the norms and contra-readings represents dramatically contradictory views to the same subjects and issues. The object of contra-reading in Tagi-Danesh poetics is to achieve “alien concept” and avoid long literary traditions of one-dimensional, cliché and repetitive, characters, famous mythic, Qurani, historical meanings and concepts in custom and literary norms. His recent vision looks from different angel to these issues, judges them contrary to custom and leaves from canon the religious Qurani characters and elements. In stylistic analysis of text and viewpoints of the poet, it is important to examine and identify “categories of modality and syntactic voice” of the layered stylistics structure. The purpose of this paper is to understand the correlation between modality with meaning of speech, degree of certainty of lyrics, and determination of the poet's words. In order to discover the relationship between the poet's language and his insight and worldview using a descriptive-analytical method, three syntactic modality variables including verb, adverb and adjective as well as two active and passive syntactic voice were examined in two valuable collections of contemporary poetry, Arash the Archer and Derafsh Kaviani. The research findings indicated that there is a consistent and complementary relationship between syntactic structures and speech content. Indicative mood, as a dominant mood with definite degree of expression, makes statement about Arash the Archer and Derafsh Kaviani. With great interest and based on the needs of society, Kasraei and Mosadeq tried to restore those myths. Passive voice is the most frequent syntactic voice. However, in the texts of this study, as the sentences with intransitive and copular verbs cannot be passive, they work in the opposite way of diagnostic criteria so the active voice overcome the passive voice and adds to the authoritative power of the speaker's words. Four stylistic components – dynamic poetic syntax, emotional and idealistic stylistic form, two views of hope and disappointment, and overt and covert position – are created by the confluence of two syntactic layers. This article is to study Fariba Vafi’s novel of A secret in the Alleys, applying a critical stylistics approach in order to find an answer for the fundamental question of “how the covert ideology and discourse behind the lines of the novel can be reveal by means of examining its stylistics?” The research was conducted via a layer stylistic approach, i.e. at first, the outer layer and situational context, and then the narrative and textual layers have been examined. The purpose of this descriptive-analytical study is to show the interpretation and deep understanding of the novel; because, from the perspective of critical stylistics, the covert ideology, authority, power, and discourse prevailing the story can be better understood. It also can lead the readers to find out how the language reproduces those social implications. At the end, this article concludes that, the contrasting characters and discourses, as well as the negative aspect of the language used in the narration, could be the manifestations of the stylistics that lead the reader to discover the ideology behind the lines of the novel – which is here the suppression of women in a patriarchal system and their passive reaction toward it. The discourse stylistics is created from combination of two layer stylistics and discourse analysis and analyzes the literary works stylistics from discourse analysis perspective; this method emphasizes on the situational texture (external) and its interaction to the text texture (internal). The common and dominant macro discourses of Saadi age include the religious –mystical institution discourse and governing-political institution discourse and public/peasant institution discourse. The main question of this research is that how these discourses have affected the romantic discourses that are dominant discourse in the Saadi’s Ghazals and created a romantic process discourse. The results of research indicate that the dominant discourses have been reproduced through discourse interaction and contrast in the visage of main characters of Saadi’s Ghazal, means the lover and beloved and the relations between religious-mystical and governing-political institutions as powerful and discourse making institutions from one side and public/peasant dominated and receptor institution on the other side have been displayed.       Manuscript profile

For the analysis of a literary text, there are several critical approaches, each of which approaches the text from a particular angle, and it is the text that invites the critic to choose the method of critique; Because each text, although it can be examined in different ways, but it is more consistent with the method than the others. Stylistics is an intra-textual method that focuses on the structure of the text, the text being both a tool and a goal. Numerous perspectives on stylistics eventually lead to the text, which consists of levels. The three levels of phonetics, composition and semantics are the most important, although other categories can be encountered. Stylistics as a branch of linguistics that considers language as a systematic set of signs and relations, defines the text as a systematic structure consisting of related components. The results of the stylistic study of Nizar's poetry indicate that the poet's choices are implied in three levels of the text and have an aesthetic burden. The stylistic features of the poem as well as the type of the poet's attitude can be seen in the choice of letters and the rhythm of the poem, the types of sentences and semantic domains, as well as in the use of the mythical symbol. Structuralism is a new critical approach based on literary methods and linguistics which identifies and analyses literary texts and elaborates on its structural beauties. Love and affection as an important element in literature and poetry is highly effective on the structure of literary texts. Therefore, studying affection in literature creates new fields in literary criticism. Love and affection toward children as an important type of affection, is also important in children upbringings and educational patterns. This issue is mostly covered by the poems of Sharif Murtaza and other poets. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze affection toward children in the Divan of Sharif Murtaza in the light of structuralism in the four types of lyric poetry (eulogy, salutation, honoring and elegy), based on the analysis of the theme and the structural levels of the poem (musical, grammatical, verbal and rhetorical) in some of selected poems and also based on their comparison to affection parameters. The findings show that emotion is the main element in Sharif Murtaza’s  ballads and his language and expressions are colored with emotion. His adherence to emotion in his language has made his poems valuable in the literary studies. Manuscript profile

Modern ode depends on two fundamental factors, rhythm and meter in shaping its musical structure. Sound rhythm is a verbal tool with which the poets express their feelings and emotions and transfer it to the reader. Nizar Qibbani, contemporary Syrian poet has used this expressive  method in his odes especially the famous ode "Balqis". He composed this ode  in memory of his wife Balqis Ravi who was killed in  bomb explosion of Iraq embassy in Beirut. The rhythms created by order of words are observed abundantly in this ode. The  present paper has investigated metrical devices in the ode through a  descriptive- analytical approach. The  most important conclusion of this discussion is that Nizar Qibbani has been able to change phonetic level of words. He not only considered external rhyme   of the ode but also had special attention to rhythm caused by rhymes density, rhythmic words, words repetition and order caused by words arrangement. The above mentioned elements altogether have given dramatic musical quality to the ode. The poet has been able to offer pleasant and calming rhythm to this ode through rhyme diversity and other sound elements and so monotony has been diverted and this feature has been appeared in such odes. Researchers paid special attention to statistical stylistics studies such that recognition and discrimination of different styles in every text can be possible applying this method. Bosiman's statistical stylistics is quantitative but not qualitative.  In this study, We have investigated examples of Hamedani's and Yazeji's Maqamat based on Bosiman's equation in the paper. This equation adjusts Maqamat's style. The style of both authors in their Maqamat is based on this equation of literary style and passiveness degree is different from a Maqameh to another.Main element leading to increase of adjective-verb ratio in Maqamat of Hamedani and Yazeji is excessive usage of literary prose and poetry of Maqameh and also because Maqameh is considered as means for practicing writing and standing against religions of prose and poetry. Maqameh is similar to spoken word and that is including dictionary and expressing society status and its emotions. Among theme elements, only age has effect on Maqamat and this element is effective in raising of verb- adjective ratio for both of the authors. This paper is to investigate and study the style of Hamedani and Yazeji in some of their Maqamat based on Bosiman's hypothesis.   Manuscript profile

The term “stylistics” has started with the emergence of linguistic research at the first decades of twentieth century. Charles Bally (1865-1947), is the founder of modern stylistics in the French School, and is a substitute for Saussure at the Linguistics Department of University of Geneva. Stylistics is a sort of criticism process that reveals the aesthetic bases of literary works. One of the most prominent kinds of stylistics is deviation; it is some kinds of variety and alteration which enhances text’s value.  Deviation is a technique of communicating between creator and recipient, because this technique reveals the capability of creator in using the hidden part of language to convey the message to the recipient with its all stylistic value. So style deviates from the norm to reveal the objectives that normal language is not able to convey. But some theorists believe that the style is nothing more than deviation. This article tries to criticize this opinion by using examples from poetry and holy Quran. Manuscript profile

Literature of resistance in a specific meaning is one of the literary genres that is kind of new in Iran with many stories and novels in which the author has employed allegory and symbol to express himself and create his work. Symbol and allegory include something vague, unknown or hidden from us known as a code in the new era and stylistic criticism of a work that can even include an author's style. Layered stylistics, which is a modern method of stylistics, considers situational context as the macro layer, fragmenting the text into micro layers. Then, exploring those layers, it searches the features and frequent traits, ultimately leading to the discovery of ideology. In this descriptive-content analysis study, first, according to the situational context, the novel of Romances of Jonah in the belly of the whale byJamshid Khanian, an allegorical work in the literature of resistance, was fragmented into lexical, syntactic and rhetorical micro layers, and then analyzed stylistically. The findings suggest that the ideology of the author lies in the syntactic layer since this is an allegorical story and allegory usually reflects in the syntactic layer. Presenting a perfect example, the author introduces the journey from an earthly love to the heavenly love as the best type of love; then, employing the code and allegory, makes the audience interprete and think, creating an allegorical style for his novel.   Manuscript profile

Analysis and detection of stylistic elements can only be achieved by detailing the frequency of exit from the soft language. This detail requires an examination of the literary, linguistic, and intellectual details of a literary text. The element of color is one of the cases in which the quality of its rhetorical and semantic use varies in different literary styles and periods. By examining the functions and rhetorical developments of this pictorial element, a stylistic metamorphosis can be shown. Since stylistic developments are not very accurate and possible except by considering a wide range, so by considering five styles of Persian poetry and three prominent poets from each style, the subject has been addressed. The results show that in Khorasani style, descriptive compounds resulting from colors are in sensory matters and often with elements of nature. The predominant tricks in this style are the use of metaphor. in the Seljuk style, the frequency of abstract compounds is higher and the functions of irony, allegory and symbolism are higher in the field of mysticism and social issues (with the emergence of Sanai). In the Azerbaijani style, the rhetorical and expressive industries reach their peak, and the color "bleu" becomes a means of creating ambiguity, metaphor and irony with high frequency. In this style, “haft peykar” has a special place because it also uses the symbolism of myth (in colors). in the Iraqi style, too, most sensory combinations are used to explain mental concepts. Discourse is a term used for examples of language usage and how it affects the audience, including the language of communication, or larger linguistic units such as interviews, conversations, texts, etc. Therefore, discourse manifests in a variety of forms. Sometimes it manifests as a lecture, sometimes a novel, and sometimes as a play or script, and the like. With this mission of discourse, it appears that in some of the texts, especially novels, two or more types of discourse can be distinguished due to the circumstances and the type of sentence structure. The present descriptive-analytical study tried to first define the discourse and then to examine dramatic discourse with respect to the stylistic characteristics of the novel of Hiccup Moments by Ahmad Akbarpour. The findings indicate that the obvious style of the novel is satyre and is structurally close to a play or screenplay, so that if the author has chosen the play and screenplay forms instead of the novel to express his ideology, he would have been still successful. The composite poem "With Neizeh Caravan" by AlirezaGhazveh is one of the most famous poems in contemporary religious literature. While creating an epic poem, the poet describes mostly the goals and consequences of the event and talks about the factors leading to its occurrence, making it a platform for expressing the concepts of freedom, defending rights, and resisting tyranny. At the structurelevel, its rhymes, rows, and word choice are all chosen for that purpose. The themes of his poetry also refer to this event as a great revolution.Paying attention to internal music, giving prominence to ideas and concepts, using the marked vocabularies, fluency and simplicity, eloquent elements artistically, making pictures of imagination and emotion, paying attention to addressee -centered and meanings, emphasizing on religious, revolutionary , humane and ideal concepts are among the features of his poetry style.Since stylistics is a tool for recognizing the poet's human, scientific, literary and ideological identity, this paper uses a descriptive-analytical procedure to investigate obvious stylistic features of the poet's Ashoraee composite based on layering stylistics. We have done and have tried to analyze the ideology ruling his mind and language by separating the style of this period from the individual style of the writer and considering the requirements of the time.Paying attention to the political attitude of Seyedzia's newspapers, we came to the conclusion that because his audience was mostly leaders of affairs and policymakers, his intellectual world guides the political attitude of a social class as a whole. And in this target group, his protest in the currents of constitutionalism is reporting on the relations of society and social and political changes and developments, and his language has been more serious than populist newspapers with a critical, frank, serious, bitter and sharp language Manuscript profile

The theory of possible worlds is one of the theoretical foundations of cognitive stylistics that is rooted in Leibniz's philosophy. Understanding how narratives are narrated is central to this theory; it illustrates the text-reader interactions and the relationship of reader with literary narrative. Masnavi Manavi, as one of the largest source of the mystical literature, encompasses the foundations of practical and theoretical mysticism. By using descriptive-analytic method and based on the theory of possible worlds, in the present article the attempt is made to propose a new reading of Masnavi Manavi. Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, as the narrator of the stories, speaks subtly about narrative discourses and creates worlds, including epistemic, fantasy and ideal worlds, in the mind of reader. In the story of Dezhe Hooshroba (the castle of Fortress), the theory of possible worlds is mostly portrayed as an epistemic world with the aim of teaching mystical doctrines based on the pattern "if ... so". In the ideal world portrayed in the story, Rūmī uses the conjunction of "or" and terms that include desiring, yearning, and demanding. For him, love is the most important means of discovering, constructing and taking intuition of the ideal world. Love helps the sālek (the holy traveler) in the path of intuitive knowledge. We have access to these worlds in temporal, linguistic and natural way, but the frequency of temporal access is greater. Manuscript profile

In fiction, the motif can be a stylistic element and reveal the dominant theme or themes to the reader. Women writers make the most of this linguistic option and, in addition to creating constant sensitivity in the reader, direct the text to a specific artistic language. Shiva Arastuei's novel "khof" (=Fear) is one of these examples that deals with the "loneliness" and "fear" of man in modern age and expresses a feminine narrative of this loneliness and fear. In this article, we intend to examine the most important motifs in the novel "khof" and show what concepts the author has expressed in this way. These motifs are also characteristic of a feminine style in that they express the sensibilities of a female writer. The method of this research is "descriptive-analytical"; That is, first, data from the novel "khof" is described, and then, based on them, an analysis is performed and leads to a summary. This article examines and criticizes the translation of Paul Simpson's book on stylistics, which was translated into Persian by Nasrin Faqih Malek Marzban and published by Al-Zahra University. In this book, Simpson has looked at stylistics with a new approach. In this article, we examine the translation of the book from four perspectives: appearance and form, structure, content and language. In the external and formal criticism, we deal with the weight, volume and cut of the book, page layout, diagrams, font and letter size, binding and binding, paper and cover material, cover and back cover design, and in the structural criticism of the system special book classification; In the content criticism of the translation features and in the linguistic criticism, we examine the grammatical or editorial signs, the use of wrong verbs, prepositions and pronouns, double writing, recording of unusual forms of declaration. Content evaluation is more focused on checking the accuracy and correctness of translation and equivalent choices. The existence of editing and writing problems, weakness in equivalent options, double writing and in many cases lack of translation are the weak points of this book. The book of stylistics opens new intellectual horizons for Persian readers. Manuscript profile

کThe research is an investigation of stylistic methods and the extraction of common features in the works of contemporary Iranian architecture. Stylistics is one of the methods of simplifying and categorizing works. With the aim of extracting such commonalities, the question of this paper: "If there are commonalities between stylistic methods in contemporary architectural writings, what is their number and composition?" and the hypothesis of this paper: "the existence of common methods and their categorization in contemporary architectural stylistics" are among the pillars of the research. Extracting and achieving a coherent structure for the stylistics of contemporary Iranian architecture based on the patterns used in the authored texts of this field and presenting a comprehensive theoretical model for categorizing the works of contemporary Iranian architecture. The research identifies the main factors after library study and categorization of 30 contemporary authored works and after examining the commonalities and differences of stylistic methods. It is a qualitative research with an interpretative strategy, which explains the background of stylistic commonalities in contemporary Iranian architectural works with the historical method and the use of inductive-deductive reasoning. By summarizing the documents and using stylistic common points, an eight-fold classification for the stylistic methods of contemporary architectural texts is explained, which is very complicated in comparison with similar stylistics. Among these, we can mention the simplicity of (Donald Newton Wilber) and (Mohammad Karim Pirnia)'s style. Compared to historical stylistics, narrative stylistics based on non-architectural and unwanted events is very complicated and ambiguous. Manuscript profile

Abstract         Stylistics has greatly been in the focus of consideration in recent years and the restoration poets are the first Iranian experts who unconsciously have dealt with it and explored the ancient scholars' works. They had to scrutinize and learn all the aspects of lingual, thought and literary works of the ancient men so that to imitate them. Although these poets do not possess a specific style and only have imitated the ancient works, they've sometimes created novelty works in the same way. Pondering on their imitation of the previous poets can bring us some useful results. The restoration era poets who Andalib is one of them could save the Persian language from weakness and deficiency, has done great service to preserve the Persian ancient language and its literature. The aim of this research is the poetical thought of Andalib Kashani by bonding the language to the simplicity of contemplation in the poetry  (praise, maxim , description and love .) His poetry, by having the features of Indian style, is somehow devoid of poetical exaggeration and one can get some significant social and lingual information of that time. Anyhow, it seems that only few noticeable researches have been done about the odes and other works of the distinguished elegists the Safawid's era and have created reformations in its poetical mold. Abstract         Zohuri Torshizi is one of the competent Indian Style poets in the 10th and 11th A. H. centuries who has been remained unknown in Persian language and literature. By his strong power of mind and sophisticated imagination he was able to compose meaningful, stable poetry with modern themes which are difficult to grasp. This punctilious poet of the Safawid era, by using exquisite similes and metaphors has created new compounds and expressions meticulously. The main aim of this research is: What are the most significant traits of Zohuri's style from lingual , syntactic, literary and thinking point of view ? The results of the research showed that innovation in speech and exaggeration in the imagination caused his poetry to be understood with difficulty and sometimes together with misunderstanding of the meaning and in this way the metaphors and similes have appeared themselves in a challenging way in his poetry; and the last word is that the usage of allegory, the method of equilibrium, allusion, paradox and new themes and compounds have high frequency in his divan – book of poetry. So far, up to 50 commentaries and translations have bee written about it. One of the most important descriptions of Golshan Raz is of Ne'matollah Nakhjavani known as Alevi Agh Shahri. This description is of great importance because of his enormous encirclement to the mystical themes and explanations of Sheikh Mahmud Shabestari thoughts. Two scripts have been found out from the description; the linear and stylistic features of these versions can play an important role in historiography and stylistics studies. Abstract       It is one of the important and new sciences in the field of stylistic literature. In this knowledge, the appropriateness between the word and the meaning, the textual coherence and the harmony of the meaning of the word with the structure of the phrases are determined. In this knowledge, the science of meanings and expression is studied. Addressing this very important issue can to some extent reveal the Qur'an's view of this dimension of collective life and invite human beings to live without violence and terror. Therefore, the present article, using the knowledge of stylistics and also relying on descriptive-analytical method, intends to examine the style of verses from the Qur'an in which the category of assassination and murder is discussed. A stylistic study of this type of verses shows that the theological style of those divine verses that are related to terror, in terms of verbal and semantic structure as well as syntactic structure of words, is an avoidance approach and These verses are mentioned in the form of metaphor and irony, and most of the sentences are addressed to the reader in order to convey the state of violence and seriousness in the fight against terrorism to the reader. In general, the style of speech and  The general orientation of the words in all the verses related to murder and assassination is such that it shows that murder and assassination are reprehensible and should not be done. The Holy Quran, as a divine book and the ultimate miracle, bears the responsibility of guiding and directing humanity. This literary miracle, which is unparalleled, employs various wise and intelligent methods to achieve its crucial mission. Among these stylistic approaches, the use of interrogative style stands out. Remarkably, out of the 114 chapters in the Holy Quran, only 18 chapters lack interrogative sentences. Recognizing the significance and role of questioning in discovering truth, the author has chosen to explore the interrogative sentences in the first Juz' (section) of the Quran for research purposes. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method and examines the literary beauty of these interrogative sentences at three levels: grammatical, rhetorical, and visual imagery. The findings of this research can contribute to updating the Quranic messages in a more practical and relevant manner, enhancing the sublime content and themes of the Quran in today's world. Additionally, by utilizing the radiant messages within the Quranic interrogative sentences, the value of questioning and seeking answers becomes evident across various dimensions: belief, knowledge, education, and culture. Bahar is the first person who wrote stylistics in a methodological and scientific manner regarding the prose and defined it scientifically.  Although he didn’t live long to continue his research and do the same for the verse but he had scattered notes which later were collected.  In his book of stylistics, Bahar was more concerned with the linguistic aspect rather than other subjects.  The most prominent feature of Bahar’s odes is following the language of the past in all aspects especially in social and political issues the content was totally consistent with the details of the society of the day.  The movement of return to the ways of the ancients manifests itself mostly through their language particularly in their poetry.  In this article Bahar’s odes have been studied in terms of 1) phonology 2) morphology 3) syntax The phonology section is concerned with the characteristics of words such as tashdid, contraction, maximization, minimization, mutation in words and music produced by the proximity of words.  Morphology section deals with the employment of old words with fresh meanings and finally syntax is concerned with the structure of the languages in the past and their application in Bahar’s poetry focusing on supplements and variety of “ra”.
