Nowadays, encouraging people to walk in the urban streets is not possible without considering attractive activities for pedestrians. Analyzing activities in the urban networks needs to determine complex parallel spatial relationships between different buildings, public spaces, and routes that connect them. In this way, urban designers and planners have started to use network- based models which analysis numerous relationships in urban space and allow the experts to use that information in urban decision making. In this way the Urban Network Analysis Toolbox (UNA) – an open-source and free plug-in for ArcGIS – provides abilities for calculating parameters of accessibility in the road network. This solution can be used for evaluating pedestrian paths based on around activities of the network. UNA toolbox, models the built environment using three basic elements: edges, representing paths along which travelers can navigate; nodes, representing the intersections where two or more edges intersect; and buildings, representing the locations where traffic from streets enters into indoor environments or vice versa. Buildings can be replaced by any other point locations on the network. This paper tries to calculate and visualize the centrality indicator of activities in the road segments, in the central area of Tehran. The Centrality Tools of ArcGIS toolbox can be used to compute five types of graph analysis measures on spatial networks: Reach; Gravity; closeness; betweenness and straightness. Respect to the literature reviews, activities of a street as a public space, influence on walkability. Theoretical framework of this research was focused on space syntax theory and develop the concept which emphasized structure of network integration can be influenced on activity distribution. Therefore, in the first step, based on theoretical framework, the point of interest layer, which is generated by Tehran Municipality, was applied to select 50 layers of the retail activities and public interests, which are more attractive for pedestrians. Then the UNA toolbox was run to calculate the centrality indicator of each activity point. Then, generated value of each point was assigned spatially to the nearest road segment.  Finally, value for centrality of activities of each road segments were calculated, and the score of each road was determined. Finally, roads based on total centrality score classified and visualized with mapping in ArcGIS.  The results show that there are lots of roads in central districts of Tehran that have connected paths with high centrality of attraction activities for pedestrians. For example, in this case-study, ValiAsre street, enghelab street, and Jomhoury street have the most scores in centrality indicator. Also with Changing some land uses, new connected and integrated paths could be generated which can enhance walking interests. For example, Imam-Khomeini Street has much potential to transform to attractive path for walkability with changing some activities, especially the segment between 30Tir Street and HasanAbad. From the technical implications, findings of this research shows that applying this approach provides better recognition of the high potential urban networks to enhance livability and can be used to designing and planning livable-oriented spaces, especially for regeneration the central business districts and deteriorated areas.  Manuscript profile

public interior spaces that belong to the user, due to the spatial organization of their properties, are more complex. the organization of these spaces and access routes to organize the information that its users are on the way, you can also upgrade to increase understanding of those spaces by people and they helped its functional efficiency Create proper circulation motion in different spaces, art galleries, including the most important indicator that special attention in the design of the spaces to b. and the importance of this issue to the extent that the performance of such spaces is largely dependent on the proper functioning of this section. Achieve optimal wayfinding solutions in the interior, one of the factors that increase the readability space. The need to address this issue goes to a place that unfortunately in many design applications including cultural facilities such as museums, Index readings related to space are not considered by the designers. This has reduced the space efficiency and also reduce some of the intangible sense of satisfaction from space. So it seems that explain wayfinding solutions (specifically art galleries) ‌and their effective application in the design process can have a significant impact in creating a more appropriate exercise. It seems that facilitate wayfinding of art galleries, can lead visitors to travel all the way and are able to visit all parts of the works in these areas. There are illegible and ambiguous routes in such areas leads to confusion and stress and time consuming for visitors and a problem with the wayfinding operation which ultimately leads to a sense of space is unpleasant visitors. Based on this research, we tried that the wayfinding process in a case study using qualitative and quantitative strategies studied and after review of the guidelines to facilitate this purpose. Accordingly, this research seeks to answer the question that follows is: How wayfinding information on the local environment, art galleries, affect human behavior? In this research, first in space exploration will be discussed at this stage was to identify the different dimensions of space to consider them in the design process, facilitate the wayfinding operation. But consider this component in the design process alone will not improve the wayfinding function and there needs to be some other architectural parameters. After the introduction of the other components in the process, the act of seeking help. Introducing the architectural components in order to facilitate wayfinding, wayfinding is the next step in the review process. In order to use such functionality in space, after recognizing the key, need to use a component that helps to advance the process. These components are generally divided into three categories: “Graphical elements”, “sensory components”, “symptom index". In addition to the above content should be noted that these indicators are not able to respond to wayfinding operation. In the event of a component of spatial cognition was considered in architectural design and the identification of the components was prepared to accept, these indicators can help to practice optimal wayfinding in space. Home is the first space which human kinds are affected by and are experience the sense of belonging during the day. Iranian traditional houses are big houses with yards inside and outside the houses. According to the division of overall structure of houses into inside and outside parts, the principle of hierarchy and spatial continuity from the entrance to the main part of the collection can be seen. Using a central courtyard had been a very old pattern in housing construction and residential spaces had been formed around the courtyard, by utilizing various methods. Yard as the main space in the past houses had formed the structure of the house by their geometric shapes. The result of this attitude had given a special place to the yard in the past; Something that today, because of the quantitative attitude to the issue of housing, the utilitarian approach to the land, the lack of attention to the space quality and meaning, and ignorance of the influence of the environment on the human psyche, is neglected and a little trace of it remains. In this study, with the aim of expressing the component with common indicators of the yard in the space structure of the Iranian house, and to answer this question that "What are common aspects of yard in the space structure of Iranian historic houses?", spatial structure of a few examples of Iranian house will be studied. Among historic houses of Yazd, Garden house and among historic houses of Kashan, Boroujerdi house, and also Behnam houses and Mashroote house among Tabriz houses are chosen. Then the common components and aspects of these houses, which represent the greatest features of the yard in architecture space of the houses are explained. By considering the study topic, which was conducted as a case study, achieved data and information were analyzed by using the interpreting and comparing method and to analyze the spatial structure of the study samples, the method of "space syntax" and Depthmap and Pajek software were used in this regard. Space syntax is a set of methods and theories that, in order to explain how the interaction of space configuration explains social organization and social behaviors, studies space configuration in architecture and urban scale. This method is explained by Bill Hillier and Julianne Hansen in Bartlett and during three decades with the development of theory on one hand, and the development methods and techniques of space analysis on the other hand, has been changed to the present form. To analyze the spatial structure case studies, internal and external relationships of the elements and their relationship together should be analyzed. Elements that were checked by this method and this software, include sight- sight graph from a point- potential of eyesight- the hierarchy of access and depth of space that will result in access graph. This analysis helps to connection of effective elements in space. The results of the analysis are expressed in the form of the items for yard architecture at contemporary houses. Manuscript profile

Speed as a matter of mobility lies at the core of the modernity. It overcomes the physical distances by various modes of transportation, and is able to distribute data and information through telecommunication tools. Generally, the challenge created by speed is its sudden and hasty effect in a physical or even virtual environment which can lead to non conformities and a kind of disruption in present function of the system and would be harmful to the new agent, the environment itself or other users of it. So the pervasive impact of speed in changing communities and the human settlements is revealed. In detailed point of view, the study of variety of technological tools and the plurality of physical infrastructures in Shiraz urban structure shows the emergence of multiple speeds that led to the complexity, extension and dispersion of the city. Therefore, this amount of change in a short period of time caused a serious problem especially in measurement and evaluation of the city's structure. On this basis, the goal of this article is to gain a comprehensive view of speed, furthermore achieving an interrelationship between speed and urban structure is considered. This is investigated and analyzed through four speed ages extracted in both global and national scale. The objectives would be obtaining the urban corridors in the structure of Shiraz city in four speed ages which has the highest potential of mobility and this is coinciding with the definition of speed extracted in the epochs mentioned before. The proof of this claim is performed through space syntax analysis and its most practical criterion which is called the integration value. Moreover, in order to carry out a comprehensive and detailed investigation of speed in the present age, the study of different modes of transportation comprised of bus corridors, special taxi corridors and metro stations is done. Also the network analysis in physical context which has been done through space syntax, is applied. Besides, the virtual infrastructure of two main telephone portables in Iranian networks including Irancell and MCI coverage is studied. The overlapping of the above maps results the multi mobility-multi speed corridors in the structure of Shiraz which is comprised of a wide range of speed between minimum and maximum rate in the categories of natural speed, mechanical speed and virtual speed. These corridors achieve their multi functional characteristics through a historical and evolutionary process. The aforementioned corridors are the main streets ending to the five entrances of Shiraz city, number of corridors agglomerated in central part of city, and many east-west corridors versus few north-south corridors scattered in different city directions. As a result, in order to make a coherent and integrated structure, it is important to consider proper distribution of corridors in the north-south direction along with east-west direction also making an appropriate connection between these directions is suggested. The augmentation and reinforcement of south and east corridors together with north and west, also strengthening and emphasizing on the corridors connected to the peripheral settlements is recommended. One of the most important obligations of architects in the early stages of designing a plan is spatial organization planning in high functional sensitivity cases. In such buildings, a spatial organization as a part of architectural planning should be defined in accordance with the use, and the criteria for the use should be taken into account so that the plan can meet the functional needs. In order to achieve a proper functional organization of the spaces, the spaces need to be properly located depending on their function. The main hypothesis of this study is to apply the available knowledge in the design precedents to assess the spatial functional organization before construction and after the operation. With the emerge of space syntax theory in architecture, it has been possible to turn the plans into graphs. Therefore, for analyzing the nodes in the graph, it can be used from the centrality indexes raised in the theory of networks and social networks, which are subsets of the graph theory. One of the most important functional plans is the hospitals’ emergency department, which has two main therapeutic units consisting “under surveillance” and “urgency”. In this unit, there are spaces in which the main and vital operations of the emergency department are carried out. As a result, immediate access to these spaces and areas should be possible both for patients who have just entered this department and have an emergency condition (acute), and those who are temporarily admitted or treated in other areas of this department. This means the importance of locating such spaces and areas. Accordingly, the research was looking for indexes to make it possible to know how to organize the main areas of this department by applying them to the design data. The research methodology in this study is applied in terms of research purpose and is quantitative in terms of research nature. The method of data collection is based on the documentary method and the work doing method is by computer simulation, pre-implementation evaluation and post-operation evaluation. Sixty hospital’s emergency plans were selected as the statistical population (design case histories) for the research. Betweenness and proximity centrality indexes were calculated for all areas in the design data by CytoScape software. The main focus of the research is on the functional organization of the main emergency’s urgency area. It was found from the research based on the vital spaces and areas in the emergency department functioning, these spaces or the area in which they are located should be among the shortest paths between other spaces and areas (high betweenness centrality index) and the extent to which they are accessed from all the other spaces are equal (the proximity centrality index). As a result, this research has focused on two betweenness and proximity centrality indexes in order to analyze the organization of spaces and areas of the department. It became clear by calculating these indexes that the urgency area should be organized in such a way that it is of the highest betweenness and proximity centrality indexes. Manuscript profile

According to rapports, since home construction is cultural, its form and organization are also influenced by the culture that the home is a product of. In this way, traditional Iranian architecture can be described as full of concepts that are based on Iranian religious culture and beliefs. One of the most important concepts that influence the formation of traditional Iranian houses is the concept of privacy. Unfortunately, in today's construction, the conception of privacy is ignored. In fact, in the current century, the concept of privacy has been a victim of economic and social factors, and priority for building spaces that create privacy gradually decreased. The result has been the construction of alien homes with indigenous culture. Therefore, although people live in modern houses and try to adapt to modern architecture, they still consider a traditional home a desirable home. Accordingly, since the home is the most private place for each person, it is one of the main places, where makes essential privacy. Thus, traditional home reviews, where the concept of privacy is well respected, can help architects to apply this principle in today's housing architecture. In this regard, given that traditional houses of the warm and dry climate of Iran are built as a courtyard, and the organization of the spaces around the courtyard is based on different patterns, the most common of which is the organization of the four types of patterns. These patterns include two sides of construction (two opposing masses), two sides of construction (two perpendicular masses), three sides of construction, and four sides of the construction. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the privacy of these four patterns in Qajar houses in Shiraz. The research method used in this study is quantitative-qualitative, and the tools used in analyzing houses are mathematical space syntax. Such that, initially eight Qajar houses were selected, and after identifying the three characteristics of introversion, hierarchy, and locating for privacy, at first the houses graphs were extracted by A-Graph software, then these three privacy factors are based on space syntax tools, including, integration, connectivity, relative mean depth, relative asymmetry, real relative asymmetry, and accessibility were analyzed. The research results show that, on the one hand, the concept of privacy as an integral concept in traditional Iranian architecture, in all the patterns of the Qajar houses of Shiraz, the architects have been of interest. On the other hand, based on the analysis, by increasing the mass-to-space ratio from two sides to four sides, the amount of introversion, hierarchy, and locating has increased. This indicates that in the Qajar houses of Shiraz, the pattern of the four sides of the building has the highest amount of privacy than other patterns. This is due to the possibility of separating public and private territories, increasing the depth, and building nested spaces on each side. Moreover, the findings of the study suggest that, in all construction patterns, the least privacy concerns first the courtyard space and then the guest space, and on the contrary, most privacy concerns the bedroom. One of the problems of today is the separation of different social groups from one another and is disregard to Ignore different social layers. Weakness that has the effect of increasing day-to-day living and reducing social life and communal ethics. The present study, using Levinas's philosophy that emphasizes one's face-to-face with another, offers a kind of ethical phenomenology. What sort of spatiality can Levinas's desired socialization in design a social center to meet? The basis of ethics in Levinas's philosophy is the asymmetry of the moral relation between subjects and the prohibition of any moral debt. In a relationship asymmetry, not all matters are subject to the same principles and tasks. An infinite notion of the other is a model for the subject's right relationship with another and creates a countless sense of responsibility for him. Face-to-face with another human being is a rebirth and an unpredictable and transcendent experience for him. This face-to-face, if confronted visage-to-visage, which is inherently peaceful and friendly, leads to dialogue, to the teaching of reason, and to the community that Levinas is considering. Finally, general issues raised by Levinas's face-to-face thinking include intuitive perception, being evasive, and asymmetrically intersubjective.Attention to the relationships and interactions of different social groups is essential to understanding individual, social, and preternatural concerns and needs for growth and prosperity. The purpose of the research is to approach design qualities that incorporate them into social centers to enable interactions with daily life for a wider community. In this regard, the components of socialization as a dependent variable and the components of syntax as independent change are reviewed and based on Levinas's ethical perspective, three different scenarios of syntax components are designed in the virtual environment. Then, by formulating an observation and interviewing program based on the components of socialization, the data were collected at the sequential level from the group that navigated the virtual scenarios. They were analyzed by SPSS software using one-way ANOVA and Tukey tests. To construct scenarios, the syntax components include "relevance", "cohesion", "depth", "choice" and "control". The use of scenario building is based on the experience of Lange 3, which in its research for a possible future change of the current status of a pavement in a rural landscape, provides three scenarios of agriculture, recreation, and nature conservation as a virtual model and animates the participants. Finally, explored participants' viewpoints for their research on how to prepare and deliver simulations for stakeholder engagement (Longe & Longe, 2017).The results show that applying the formative qualities in Scenario 3, which has been attempted to be most consistent with Levinas's thought, can be efficient in enhancing the socialization of space. Scenario 1 also managed to gain some of the second ranks, but Scenario 2 is not recommended for sociable spaces. Thus, it turns out that a scenario in which the qualities of transactionality, complexity, and ease of use, disorder, and uncontrollability have been used, have greater potential for Levinas's desired socialization in social center designs. The lifestyle of the people of a region is introduced as the identity substructure of the native architecture of that region, which is derived from human needs at any time and place. In this study, the qualitative method of semiotics is used with the help of Space Syntax software. which uses evaluation based on standard models to determine the main factors of housing quality, and then by simulating and examining visible graphs in Space Syntax software, it is possible to have a comprehensive understanding of how Changing the pattern of space arrangement in the local archetypes was achieved in the studied houses. The Saman region of Mashhad has provided a suitable platform for this study with the abundance of native houses in it. The results of this research showed that by specifying the signs in the qualitative patterns of the housing, it is possible to provide a quantitative reading of them by Space Syntax software.Culture and design in environmental designs and artefact architecture, which targets the audience, has been considered as a cultural image in a way that theorists believe is culture. Its manifestations appear not only in the perception of people, beliefs, values, norms, customs and behaviors, but also in the design of objects and the artificial environment, including houses and neighborhoods, may be influential and overshadow them. put put into question the effectiveness of the project (Isai Ghasemian Asl and Tahereh Nasr, 2017; Amirreza Sheikh Bahai, 2018). The spatial configuration of the house, its interior design (spatial organization), and the shape of the house in an area can support or hinder the culture of the residents (Ozaki, 2002; Rapaport, 1969). Rappaport Vallior recognizes cultural contexts as a factor in the formation of local architecture and as Rappaport states, space has meaning, Grote and Wang also emphasize the need for environmental designers to pay attention to the socio-cultural aspects that they are in. (Raphaport), 1969; Oliver, 2006). Therefore, the model of spatial organization and its configuration should be investigated in order to understand the relationship between the built spaces and the subsequent cultural design (Napadon, 2001). Dwelling culture (the way of life and manners resulting from it), and social culture (social relations, kinship relations, family structure, etc.) tells how the form and spatial organization of native houses are formed, which explains how architectural designers and planners work. . It deals with the continuity of cultural-social values of native built environments. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to study the semiotics in the housing quality section by benefiting from the data evaluation model based on the standard models in a multiple and hierarchical format and with the help of the Space Syntax software, a new reading of the native houses of Mashhad that are narrating. . The effect of lifestyle on the change and continuity of the spatial organization of houses is presented in order to be able to purposefully explain the reading of housing qualities, which can be used to improve the quality of today's housing. The main purpose of this study is to measure the depth index and its relationship with socio-cultural logic that is used in the software (Ucl depth map) to model 10 historical houses in Kashan to study the components of total depth, relative depth and average spatial arrangement index for the whole building. In order to investigate the role of location of house components in improving performance efficiency, the depth index in these houses (Razzaqian, Abrishamchi, Almasi, Rezvanian, Fakhrehi, Mozaffari, fish water, Adel, Lajevardi, Bahi) in improving performance efficiency is studied. Takes. Findings showed that the spatial value is in line with the socio-cultural logic of Iranian-Islamic architecture in Kashan in relation to the system depth index. From the results of the diagrams, it is clear that in seven samples of the ten houses studied (Bahi, Mozaffari and Razzaqian, Abrishamchi, Almasi, Adel), In relation to three-door or five-door, it is observed that in the mentioned houses, this space is present in a relatively large number (more than two spaces), secondly, it does not have a fixed position in terms of depth and its position is different in each house. . Based on the results of this study, it was observed that the houses in the area, in general, have a shallow depth and its spatial hierarchy is not very complex and there are similar socio-cultural meanings in each house and the houses have a central core of the yard. It is the center of server and client areas. Manuscript profile

Preface and Purpose of the Study: Understanding the visual structure of historical bazaar saria, as one of the most important architectural elements of design, can be effective for contemplation of their role and latent potential in the quality of their sociopetal spaces, the extent of their receptibility, and their prosperity. This study focuses on the understanding and analysis of principles of sociopetality in the receptibility and the visual quality evaluation of bazaar sariaes. Methodology: Firstly, through correlation and regression analysis, the presence of a students for each of the 12 investigated sariaes, and recording of the number of people and their gathering places, steps were taken to assess the criteria and answer the theories and research questions of the study. The evaluation and determination of the scope of the study were achieved through visual quality and sociopetal concepts in a structural dimension derived from the framework of the research and its conformity with visual parameters defined by space syntax software. The space syntax data was analyzed using the Depthmap software. Findings: Based on the findings of the study, it can be argued that access points and routes to the sariaes (whether directly or at a rotating angle), dimensions and total measurement of the saria and central courtyard, number of primary spaces, and direct access to primary spaces affect the extent of sociopetality and receptibility of bazaar sariaes. Furthermore, halls that have more entry points, larger central courtyards, and lesser rotation angle for accessing their middle saria, are more inviting and receptible and are more sociopetal as a result. In some cases, such as Mirza Kuchak saria, Khansari saria, and Golshan saria, visual quality components have a reverse correlation with structural components because entry points with an indirect view of the saria have no bearings on visual qualities, having high visual quality yet lower sociopetality. Conclusion: The findings of this study reveal that although, in most cases, visual quality components affect structural factors and induce sociopetality in the environment, in most bazaar sariaes in Iran such a correlation does not always exist. Sariaes with higher visual quality have lesser sociopetality because, in terms of structure, they do not have intelligible and inviting environments that appeal to the public. Sight and appearance, spatial complexity, practical variety, access and degree of movement, and comfort and number of available facilities affect the spatial quality and thus sociopetality.     Manuscript profile

Background and Objective: Intermediate spaces have a two-dimensional nature with the aim of connecting, communicating and having multiple concepts and meanings. It becomes both a process and a product. The effect of the middle space on the spatial continuity of architectural and urban elements in Iran is the peak of Iranian architectural art in the construction and spatial organization of architectural and urban complexes, how to connect the metropolitan scale to the middle scale of the neighborhood and finally link it with the micro scale. This is made possible by the proper identification and organization of intermediate elements across a wide range of scales.Material and Methodology: Since mosques are one of the most important pillars of the identity of the Islamic city and as a collective place and on the other hand one of the aspects of dynamic relationships and interactions of the mosque is the spatial features of architecture and its type of relations and spatial arrangement. Intermediate spaces in the mass-space system and how it deals with the organization of the collective performance of mosques.Findings: Data collection, activity tracking and fieldwork techniques in three mosques in Qazvin have been studied. In order to investigate the role and position of the middle space from a structural and geometric point of view, the theory of space syntax with depthmap10 software has been used quantitatively using spatial arrangement indicators. The above method was used, so for the accuracy of syntax data, correlation is analyzed through a questionnaire and Spss22 statistical software.Discussion and Conclusion: Findings and results of the study indicate that; Existence of middle spaces causes spatial separation, territory in different areas in the mosque, which has an optimal effect on the functional organization of public spaces, so that the territory of privacy is responsible for the sense of user interaction, which can attract more people to the mosque.  Manuscript profile

Studying the valuable architectural patterns of the past as the cultural identity of each society and its modernization using new technologies is a matter that in every period is one of the cultural priorities and necessities of each society. On the other hand, due to the rich foundations of Iranian-Islamic architecture, it is necessary to make a thoughtful return to housing architecture as one of the most important forms of social organization of space and use its main features and elements to create a new way of residential architecture along with new technology and requirements of the day. This descriptive-analytical study with case model strategy and using space syntax plugin and plan production graph tries to describe the mathematical relationships governing space in concepts such as spatial depth, control value, choice value, integrity and entropy, by evaluating and analyzing the relationship between space companionship to discover concepts that can play a role in today's architecture. The results indicate that although there is a structural difference between past and contemporary patterns in space massing, it is possible to express a pattern in contemporary language by based on the values mentioned and maintaining the position and relationships between different spaces in the graph. The houses of the Qajar period of Yazd have many historical, cultural and architectural values as architectural texts comprising signs and codes, as the main propositions of traditional architecture. Perception and discovery of the hidden secrets in architectural texts is achieved through reading and through semiotics. This research has explained the syntactic codes as one of the semiotic codes using the space syntax method. First, in-depth studies were carried out in the field of theoretical foundations and the influential components and indicators in space syntax were identified, and then a number of ten bab houses of the Qajar period of Yazd were tested as selected samples for reading and analyzing the spatial structure, based on the space syntax method. The upcoming research analyzes the syntactic components of the spatial structure through a case study in two parts of field studies and Depsmap software to discover the syntactic codes of the selected houses. In this analysis, the samples are measured based on the components of interlinking, relative depth, visibility, entropy, and visual connection, and after analyzing data and field studies of space syntax, results lead to the discovery of syntactic codes of houses. The results show that the syntactic codes of these houses are explained in the form of concepts and meanings derived from the relational systems of the texts, based on spatial hierarchy, cohabitation, order and disorder, mystery and secrecy. Abstract:from past to present behavioral modules and social relations exist or existed in people's lives, But as it should be, they have not been recognized and have not been taken into consideration, while they are of a great value. As the space syntax has been studied in urban planning , we will put steps in understanding this method in the field of architecture, to realize hidden social-governmental patterns In the architectural works of the past, in order to evolution of today’s architecture. A building means creating spaces for specific functions for residents. In this study, in order to gain better understanding of the formation and the hidden relationships between spaces , the potential social relations in the Diplomatic buildings , particularly the Safavid palaces are considered. It is difficult to know the whole space as a whole, Because people are always faced with a part of space and it is not possible to understand the whole at a time. What is emphasized is that the building is never a single-function phenomenon. Buildings organize spaces and shape relationships and social activities inside and out. The building is an independent and variable set in the environment and its function is appropriate to the spaces that are defined in it. The main goal of researchers is to understand social relationships in space, such as creating privacy and public spaces. The creators of this method have a social view of works of art in general and architectural buildings in particular. They believe that although the builder of the building creates a single shape, but to achieve this single shape, he has regulated spaces together. Regulation of spaces together means communication within the spaces with each other. So, with evaluating the relationship between space and hidden social relationship of the inhabitants in an architectural space and extending it to similar spaces, we can participate in this movement. In the simplest explanation we can say, Space syntax is a set of methods and theories that study the configuration of space at the scale of architecture and urban planning to explain how the configuration of space, social organization and social behaviors interact. The arrangement of spaces next to each other has a direct effect on how people use spaces. The use of this method has been proposed by several English scientists since the early seventies. Of this group, Estedman, Hillier and Hanson are the most famous. In the Research process the relationship Between physical space and its current events have been investigated by using space syntax Analysis software. Mathematical and graphical data is portrayed as graphical charts And graphs of hidden social - governmental Relations which lies at the heart of this building. The first phase of their work in the 1970s involved real environments, indigenous buildings, and organic complexes. The second stage in the development of the method of space syntax occurred in the eighties. To achieve their goal, they introduced a drawing technique called " Justification charts".This drawing method allowed them to simulate different spatial patterns. The third stage is the globalization of the syntax of architectural space. The methodology of this paper is descriptive-analytical and after explaining the corresponding concepts, social relations governing the diplomatic architecture of the past is studied, and the sample is chehelsotoon palace in Isfahan, which was built during the Safavid era. Based on the analysis of explanatory diagrams that express the internal relations of palaces in the form of lines and circles, and by simplifying the planned relations and displaying them graphically, we will reach a simpler and more understandable expression. Spaces of the same category are in the same row and numerically valued in the same row, and spaces according to how they get from one space to another , They are connected by a line. The reasoning method is deductive. In this paper we tried to make the hidden social-governmental relations in the spirit of the diplomatic architecture of Safavid era visible.Analyzing the spatial order of the palace using the method of space syntax enables the architectural professional community to create a model that predicts social-governmental behavior in diplomatic spaces. This model can be used in the design process and an interactive relationship can be established with it. Manuscript profile

The optimal physical design of communal spaces in terms of sociability is of great importance in creating and inviting social and voluntary activities of users. The lack of the necessary qualities disrupts the behavior-milieu synomorph and consequently affects the users' sense of presence and length of stay. Mosques, as a type of communal space, form a hierarchy of behavior settings by defining various areas (from semi-private to public). In the past, mosques had served as effective behavior settings, but today, despite their physical diversity, they lack the efficiency expected from a communal space. The present study aims to study the effective components on the formation of behavior settings and, thereby sociability in mosques as an important urban place. For this purpose, based on the literature of environmental psychology, the issue of sociability and the reason for the introduction of behavior setting-related concepts in the mosque are first investigated and the effective components on the formation of these two factors are examined. Then, to analyze the behavior-milieu synomorphy of mosques and its relationship with sociability, the effect of composition of some behavioral factors, such as the need for interaction, length of stay and attendance, components, such as location, proximity of entrances, geometric center of the building, and space syntax (relationship, depth, interconnectivity, and legibility), and some dynamic physical factors are investgated. The research is performed in two steps; first, the required data are collected, events are recorded and the lists of behaviors are prepared. Moreover, in addition to qualitative data, the behavior settings in the three four-iwan mosques in Qazvin city are identified and the weight of effective components in mosques including comprehensive patterns of behavior, and the behavior-milieu synomorph are extracted. In the next step, using Depthmap10 software and the space syntax theory, the role of space syntax indicators on the behavior settings in mosques and their sociability are investigated quantitatively. Since it is not possible to answer the research questions only using space syntax, in the following data analysis, correlation analysis is performed to find the significant correlation between the variables affecting sociability using Amos 22 software. The results show that the sociability of the public space is possibleacheived with the proper synomorphy and combination of physical-structural and behavioral-social factors, i.e. behavior-milieu synomorphy. Homes, as the main place of life of modern man, must respond to the needs, beliefs and values of its inhabitants. The shape and body of space affects human lifestyle and behavior. In this research, the complexities of social and cultural relations in the spatial structure of traditional and contemporary houses in Tabriz have been investigated using the theory of space syntax. The present study tries to extract and introduce changes in the layout and spatial structure of houses in terms of space syntax criteria. To achieve this goal, after selecting a case study of the cultural and historical context of Tabriz, IGraph software has been used to draw and classify the samples and analyze the spatial structure, and their explanatory diagram. Then the correlation indices and the relative depth of the spaces have been analyzed using the mathematical relations of the space syntax and the visibility indices, the visibility cone using the Depthmap software for each sample. The results show that there is a direct relationship between the variable of social structures and the variable of spatial arrangement. This means that the characteristics of social structures governing society, including interactions and privacy, are important architectural values of traditional houses, However, in contemporary houses, due to having a purely physical view and insufficient knowledge of the residents and their needs, many changes have taken place in the housing debate, which has led to the residents not belonging to the house. Design of architectural space, Specifically an academic space in this research, while congested without being aware of the coherent spatial structure and sometimes with the Breakdown, creates high density or abandonment of different parts of space. This paper examines the relationship between spatial structure and user movements in the central campus of Tehran University. For this purpose, the campus ,with seven colleges, a mosque, a central library and other related buildings, was tested that was used to analyze the spatial structure of the "space syntax" method. The method of doing this research is simulation using the Depth map software. A case study ,which is valuable in terms of architecture and scientific and cultural values, was also used to conduct the research. In this analysis, four factors in social, Physical and behavioral subgroups has been investigated Which is ultimately compared to the natural motion factor. The results have been analyzed and the tables for this simulation are extracted and discussed. results show a strong and direct meaningful relationship exists between the value of the integration of space derived from the space syntax analysis and the motor behaviors of users. Therefore, one of the important reasons for users' congestion in some places, as well as being abandoned in some other places, is due to the physical structure of the site. Based on the results, changes can be made to user mobility Considering the proposed architecture in the campus of university. This research also focuses on the methodology for analyzing and evaluating space syntax on a case study. Manuscript profile

.Culture is an effective factor in the behavioral arena of any society, which can be seen in its configuration and spatial structure. Finding a way to read past architectural patterns is one of the concerns of any architecture. One of these data mining techniques is space syntax, or syntax, which plays a key role in discovering the mathematical relationships in space communications and can provide a measure of space utility. On the one hand, home and housing, as one of the most basic needs of human beings and human society is one of the most important forms of social organization of space, with little contemplation in today's housing it is not possible to receive an outreach response and in that sense has been reduced to mere shelter. In this study, while introducing the Space Syntax approach, the concept of depth in indigenous Qajar housing in Isfahan is investigated, which is directly related to communications, spatial territories, composition and types of public and private spaces, spatial hierarchy and privacy. The method used in this study is descriptive-analytic and comparative analogy. It has been used with the GrassHopper and Space Syntax plugin to minimize it. Results showed the courtyard as a central structure which forms in the middle layers of the house structure and has the most connection, and spaces such as warehouses, toilets, staircases and corridors are the least connected and introduces it as one of the most private spaces, so the corridors and joints also have a greater degree of interconnection and connection than rooms, and are less in depth. The present research aims to analyze the mutual relationship between space configuration, space depth and architectural space relations in privacy perception in order to identify the hidden pattern and social structures of relationships in one of the contemporary residential complexes in Tabriz. “Depth” and “integration” are among the important parameters in privacy perception, which have been studied via drawing justified graphs and output of numerical variables in the specialized space syntax software. Space syntax technique is in fact the investigation of the relationship of every space unit in a set in the neighboring space; through knowing social structure of the relationships of the components, the pattern of systematic activities and also the semantic load and spatial relationships can be obtained. The research methodology of the present descriptive-analytica study is information analysis and of logical reasoning type. The qualitative and quantitative methods are employed in the formulation of the theoretical framework and the analysis of maps and modeling, respectively. The research results on 11 types of different plans from the residential units of this complex revealed the relationship between architectural space relations and configuration of architectural body and spatial depth in the definition for privacy. Moreover, the appropriate spatial relationships for achieving more privacy can be defined in order to be used in the plan design of condemnatory complexes. Manuscript profile

Introduction :The spatial configuration is the way spaces are placed together and in their relationships, which illustrates the importance of spatial communication in the whole system. Goal : In order to measure the relationship between security and spatial configurations, the indicators of interconnection, connection, selection, control, and types of theft crimes have been investigated.Geographical area of research: The study area of the research is the legal area of Pakdasht city.Methodology : The present study was carried out with the attention of the spatial event of exploratory atrocities and then to investigate the spatial factors affecting the occurrence of crimes of an analytical type. Results and discussion: In these maps, an analysis of the distribution of various types of theft crimes related to the spatial configuration of the city has been obtained. Finally, the correlation between spatial configuration and types of crime counts in SPSS software was measured by Pearson correlation test. Conclusion: The results of the research show that there is a positive correlation between opportunistic crime (theft) and spatial configurations indicators. This means that an increase in the level of these indicators results in an increase in the number of crimes of theft and the perpetrators, in such a context, can possibly steal more. However, in detail this relationship and the connection with the theft of residential houses and casings have been negated, and the theft of residential houses has occurred in less interconnected areas, but with a higher depth. Introduction: The issue of cohesion and integration of urban space in relation to the ossification or main structure of the city will be the lever of development of the city and the potential for growth, connection, identity and integrity of the whole city. According to its features, it causes spatial multiplicity and diversity and visual, spatial, and physical continuity, which plays a very effective role in the creation of new spaces. Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the principle of establishment in the ossification structure of the city and its effect on the formation of the multiplicity and diversity of urban spaces, in order to discover the factors affecting the formation of this structure and determination of the efficiency of urban spaces.Research Methodology: The current study is a quantitative descriptive-analytical study. This study uses combined method of AHP analytical model and multi-variable regression analysis by using one sample statistical T-Tests using syntax space software in order to determine and classify the factors of the study.Geographical area of the research: The study area is the central part of the city with the focus on Enghelab Street in Sanandaj, which includes the historical bazaar of the street and Enghelab crossroads to the square of Nabovvat.Findings and Discussion: The findings are presented graphically in two forms of interconnected and statistical maps (calculation of spatial parameters) for each period. Analyses show that the average amount of interconnection in Sanandaj, in which the general pattern of interconnection, is very similar to other historical cities in Iran. Accordingly, the market element, which is identified with the darkest lines, has the highest interconnection average and in this regard is the most interconnected structural element of the city and plays the most important role in the structure of the city as a whole. Results: The design and spatial organization of the axis of Enghelab Street in the center of the city has been based on six criteria of "hierarchy, establishment, balance, dispersion, concentration, and spatial cohesion". The principle of establishment and multiplicity (diversity) has been realized through spatial and physical balance. The concept of "interconnectedness" as the factors affecting "connection, control, depth, interconnectedness" has been evaluated as higher than the theoretical average, which indicates that the criteria of "concentration", "establishment" and "spatial coherence" have the highest rank and importance. Architectural and urban features of the past explain the identity of cities. The study of the historical contexts of cities, the spatial structure and configuration of historical spaces, and specifically residential buildings, reveals the extent to which the structure of space affects the behavioral patterns of residents. It should be noted that the yard and open space of residential buildings are the center and core for organizing home spaces. This article was examined the yard configuration of residential buildings in the historical context of Lahijan in Sharbafan neighborhood in the twentieth decade. The research method in the present study was associated with descriptive-inferential analysis, which was done quantitatively and qualitatively. In the qualitative section, library documents were examined. In the quantitative part, first, the spatial structure of Sharbafan neighborhood was simulated based on an old photo belonging to the 1320s by Cinema 4D software. In the next step, the simulated range plan was drawn in Autocad software and dxf output was taken from it. To analyze and study the spatial organization and space syntax, and to obtain a variety of indicators of combined analysis using the axial map, among the software in this regard, by studying and reviewing, UCL Depth Map software has been used for this research. Comparing the visual and axial Intelligibility of the samples shows the superiority of the two-sided type in axial and visual Intelligibility over the one-sided and middle-sided types. The highest correlation was observed in the visual Intelligibility of the two-sided type and the lowest correlation was observed in visual Intelligibility of the one-sided type. Access to physical information and spatial structure of historical contexts through photographs allows the study and comparison of the current situation with the previous era. Analysis of spatial and physical structure of the simulated model with space syntax software makes it possible to study architecture and spaces of historical contexts. Manuscript profile

Introduction Due to the importance of individuals' behavior in achieving the goals of sustainability, behavioral models have somehow tried to identify components that predict sustainable behavior. Despite numerous studies that have studied spatial behaviors and structures, so far no research has been done on the effect of spatial behavior on sustainable behavior. The present study investigates the effect of this factor by adding spatial behavior to the components of the planned behavior model (motivation, attitude, norm, and perceived behavioral control).Methodology 516 researcher-made questionnaires were distributed that were approved by researchers in the field of behavior and psychology. How this affected was required to examine spatial structures and their characteristics. For this reason, the structural and syntactic patterns of the citizens' housing were also examined. Structural equation model, analysis of variance test, and syntactic tests for calculating the index of visibility, integration, depth, and spatial value have been the analytical tools of this research.Geographical area of research The city of Shiraz and its 11 regions constitute the study area. Results and discussion Spatial behavior has a positive and interactive relationship with all factors of planned behavior and among them, it has had the greatest impact on usual behavior and norms. F test showed that there is a significant difference between spatial behavior and sustainable behavior of individuals in both central and axial patterns. This difference was due to the spatial value of the different territories and the environmental and spatial facilities they provide to their inhabitants. The central pattern exposes the public realm to greater use with greater integrity and visibility, and the axial model places more importance on the private realm and encourages privacy. Conclusion The result of the research is the spatial norm model named according to the impact of usability and the fields of visibility and mean depth of each space that control the communication and interactions between members of a small community such as family. As the age increases, the power and ability of the elderly to recognize the architectural spaces and related internal or external areas decreases, and on the one hand, this point increases their dependence on others and reduces their self-confidence, and in the next stages, they may lose the ability to find their way. and lose routing. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effective factors in the perception of the elderly through the examination of cognitive maps. This article examines the behavioral and cognitive responses of the elderly in the Kahrizak nursing home using the "space arrangement method" in the framework of environmental behavior studies. The statistical population includes forty-five elderly residents of Kehrizak nursing home who have cognitive and motor skills. In the present study, the role of the spatial configuration of the environment and the resulting cognitive maps on the sociable behavior of the elderly was measured. In this research, two types of VGA and ISOVIST analysis were used in space layout. The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between the results of the spatial arrangement and the cognitive maps resulting from the perception of the space of the elderly, so it is possible to pay attention to some specific spaces or ignore some spaces in the cognitive maps due to the characteristics and physical structure of the complex architecture. Based on this, suggestions were made for the perceptibility of the space by the elderly. Manuscript profile

Spatiality is one of the most important factors in creating interest in the living environment, a sense of belonging and identity towards it, and residents' comfort, which leads to the appearance of a sense of place and spirit in the home. Place, as one of the basic concepts in architecture, is an area for habitation, relief and tranquility. In other words, man chooses to live in a place and through a place. On the other hand, attachment to housing is an emotional bond between human beings and housing, which leads to a feeling of trust, security and satisfaction. The place concept and its formation dimensions are mainly in the analysis of traditional housing by researchers, and the findings regarding contemporary housing are limited to the research gap; Therefore, the spatiality of housing is the subject of the present study, which aims to rethink the concept of dwelling and promote the experience of attachment in contemporary homes to evaluate the components that shape the spatiality and the physical approaches affecting it in study samples. The research question is which physical approaches play a role in creating the spatiality of contemporary Iranian houses? How are the shaping components of spatiality in contemporary Iranian homes evaluated? The research method includes a combination of qualitative approach to analyze and interpret library information about theories of spatiality and attachment to the place as well as quantitative and qualitative approach and software based on case study that is observed and analyzed with Depth map computer simulator to study the spatial arrangement of five contemporary housing types in hot and dry climate cities. The samples include 10 outstanding residential buildings from 5 types of villas, connected single units, connected multi-units, apartments and residential complexes in 4 cities with hot and dry climate. The results show that the way the plan is configured and the formation and location of physical and spatial elements in contemporary housing can affect the positive and negative qualities of the place and the level of attachment to housing. Recognizing the results of the appearance of spatiality characteristics in the body will help to correct the functional spatial design of contemporary housing projects. Manuscript profile
