Abstract :
Today, due to the ever-increasing population growth, rapid urbanization, and the spread of unequal income, the cities of the world are looking for people-oriented urban planning policies (public transport, bicycles, and pedestrian paths). On the other hand, the increase in the use of motor vehicles causes congestion and traffic. In turn, it has destructive effects on people's health and quality of life, especially in the city centers. The created pollutions such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and the like are among the main causes of various diseases such as heart and vascular diseases, and sometimes even very dangerous and fatal diseases. Therefore, paying attention to the factors of increasing pedestrian circulation in the city can lead to increasing the health of citizens and reducing pollutants in the city. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to study various factors affecting the feasibility of the city and factors related to it. The research method in this research is using the Delphi method and space syntax to investigate the influence of the mentioned factors on the urban structures of Shiraz city and vice versa. The statistical population of this research includes experts in the field of urban planning, 16 experts were selected in Shiraz and interviewed. The results of the research show that various social factors and urban structures, including social demographics, variety of user combinations, access dimensions, dimensions of participation in walking, dimensions of pedestrian facilities, dimensions of comfort and convenience, dimensions of safety, aesthetic dimensions can increase the amount of outdoor walking. be effective in general. On the other hand, by using the control of urban structures and increasing the circuit quality, it is possible to increase the amount of pedestrian traffic in the urban space. The research data shows the influence of selectivity, depth, connectivity, and access factors on pedestrian circulation in urban spaces. The two factors of cohesion and depth have the greatest effect on walking distance.Depthmap tool was used to analyze the spatial structure of the city.
