About the journal
Journal of Plant Environmental Physiology (JPEP) is an open-access peer-reviewed quarterly journal in Persian (with English abstracts and bibliographies) devoted to the fields of plant/crop physiology, and plant environmental physiology, i.e., environmental impact on plant metabolism and adaptation at different molecular, biochemical, and physiological levels in plants, published by the Islamic Azad University-Gorgan Branch and the Iranian Association of Algaeology (IAA). It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original research papers, review papers, and short papers, considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations.
Journal of Plant Environmental Physiology (JPEP) publishes original experimental, technical, and theoretical papers in the various fields of plant/crop physiology (physiology, genetics, biochemistry, structure, plant-microbe interactions, etc.) at diverse levels of integration (cellular, subcellular, molecular, organ, whole plant, environmental). JPEP is a broad-spectrum journal that welcomes high-quality papers in all major areas of plant/crop physiology, including plant biochemistry, functional biotechnology, computational and synthetic plant biology, growth and development, photosynthesis and respiration, transport and translocation, plant-microbe interactions, biotic and abiotic stress. The JPEP publishes research and review articles with the aim of presenting current knowledge and new findings in the field of environmental impact on plant metabolism and adaptation at different molecular, biochemical, and physiological levels in plants.
