Given this, today's supplier performance has become a critical element in the success or failure of a company. In this study, an idealized planning model with multi-criteria decision-making approach with network analysis tool based on the expansion of fuzzy quality function has been developed. Also, a new way of ranking, selecting, and assigning orders to suppliers is provided. To this end, the concept of expanding fuzzy quality function and network analysis are used to evaluate and rank suppliers and the math planning model for assigning orders to suppliers. The method presented in this paper is a feasible, practical, and useful method for identifying and ranking suppliers as well as assigning orders to them. The advantage of this model compared to similar methods in using QFD and ANP tools is to measure the priorities and needs of the company to rank suppliers, which can listen to the voice of the customer and take their demands, as well as integrate the two tools with planning Ideal for ordering a new approach. Based on the results of this research, technology and timely delivery are the most important features in order to evaluate contractor selection. Selection of contractors in such a way that at the same time returns from the supplier, delays and costs of supply are the least possible, are the most important results of this research. Therefore, several studies have been conducted on supplier selection and evaluation by data envelopment analysis. But studies so far have focused on selecting suppliers and evaluating them. And there is no way to determine the number of suppliers in a supply chain. Therefore, in this article, we first express the concept of profit efficiency for supply chains and using the proposed model in this paper, the number and type of suppliers in a supply chain are determined simultaneously. Finally, 10 "supply chains" in the food industry were examined and the profit efficiency of each of them was calculated using the proposed model in this article, and then the number and type of suppliers in each chain were determined. With the changes brought about by the fourth industrial revolution and digital transformations, organizations and supply chains should move towards using the components of the fourth industrial revolution. In this regard, the main objective of this study is to assess and select pharmaceutical suppliers in hospitals in line with the paradigms of viable supply chains. Considering the paradigms of viable supply chains (Lean-Agility, Resilience, Sustainability, and Digitalization), 21 criteria have been selected for evaluating suppliers. The criteria and sub-criteria have been weighted using the hybrid FDEMATEL-FBWM method, wherein the paradigms of Lean-Agility, Resilience, Digitalization, and Sustainability are of respective importance. Among the sub-criteria for evaluating suppliers, speed, distance, supply capacity, information sharing, financial capability, and crisis management have been chosen as the most important. According to the weights obtained from the mentioned hybrid method, suppliers have been prioritized using the VIKOR method. The findings of this study have been compared with the combined FAHP-TOPSIS method for validation due to the novelty of the solution method. Manuscript profile -

Application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) for the issues concerning the evaluation and selection of the supplier is based on the complete flexibility of weights. Yet, the problem is permissibility of complete flexibility of their weights, as the weight values obtained through the solving unrestricted DEA program are often contrary to the earlier viewpoints or the additional information. The present paper aims to propose interval DEA models with assurance region for evaluation and selection of the best supplier in the presence of weight restrictions and imprecise data. It proposes a new approach based on “DEA with efficient and inefficient frontiers” for evaluation and selection of the best supplier in the presence of weight restrictions and imprecise data. In this approach, optimistic and pessimistic efficiencies are considered simultaneously for each supplier. When the assurance region constraints are added to the interval DEA optimistic models, scores of calculated efficiency interval become worse and a supplier previously determined as the optimistic efficient supplier may be recognized as optimistic non-efficient. When the assurance region constraints are added to the interval DEA pessimistic models, scores of calculated efficiency interval are improved and a supplier previously recognized as a pessimistic inefficient supplier may be recognized as pessimistic non-inefficient. Comparing traditional DEA, DEA approach with efficient and inefficient frontiers may recognize the best supplier correctly and conveniently. A numerical example shows the application of the proposed approach. Manuscript profile -

In the current changing business environment, communication between different parts of the supply chain is important. One of the most important parts of a supply chain is material purchasing from different suppliers as a major part of the marginal cost of a product is raw material cost. Selecting suppliers correctly will reduce procurement costs and increase the competitiveness of companies. Moreover, one of the most important decisions that must be considered is the determination of order quantity. As an automobile is comprised of thousands of parts, choosing the right suppliers and determination of orders quantity are very important in the Automotive Industry. In this paper, we first identify the criteria for the selection of suppliers of ISACO Company. Then, suppliers of consumable items are ranked using group decision-making techniques. Finally, we determine optimum purchase plan using a mixed integer programming model. The results of this paper which show the best supplier of consumable items and the optimum purchase quantity can help ISACO to manage suppliers properly. For example, we demonstrate that one supplier has priority for buying the most consumable items or another supplier isn’t suitable for any purchase. Manuscript profile -

Choosing the right suppliers can significantly reduce procurement costs and increase the competitiveness of the organization. Increasing concerns about environmental warnings have attracted the attention of customers, governments, and organizations and resulted to take care about environmental requirements for products production. As the majority of products components and its material supply from external suppliers, consideration of supply process indicators is important. Greening supply chain process is an opportunity for those people are taking care of sustainable demand and environmental business performances. We employed TOPSIS to weight and rank and DEMATEL to evaluate relationships of indicators. After computing the weight of indicators, quality received the highest score, as well as environmental performance, achieved the lowest score in our evaluation. After ranking indicators, it has resulted that environmental management and reverse logistic received the highest and lowest in our assessment. The cause and effect relationship of supplier selection indicators in Fulad Gilan Company shows that the reverse logistic, environmental performance as well as cost are the most unaffected rather than other indicators and also the impact of environmental performance, cost and supplier collaboration are higher than other indicators. The purpose of this paper is to identify Suppliers that have the highest potential capacity to meet the needs companies, with reasonable cost and also reduce the risk and maximize the total value of purchaser. Since suppliers are different in terms of products strengths and weaknesses and general conditions, requires a careful evaluation by the purchaser. In order to do this activity in the Companies, there are many problems; one of those problems is to determine the appropriate criteria for assessing supplier. This is because often need to be expressed in the form of qualitative concepts, while they must be evaluated quantitatively. In addition, in terms of decision makers, importance and priorities of each criterion are different, and this is one of the main reasons that authors are seeking to present a model to select suppliers based on appropriate criteria with emphasis on the importance degree of them in the decision-making process. So at first with reviewing the literature, criteria influencing the choice of suppliers were identified, then using a questionnaire that was completed by a Team of experts to screening criteria was discussed. The qualitative and quantitative data were collected and the importance of effective criteria in supplier selection determined by AHP method and finally suppliers of this company ranked using Grey COPRAS method. The most important criteria for evaluation supplier were assets and infrastructure (0.275) and Behran supplier was identified as the best supplier. Manuscript profile -

Besides, real-world problems have always been structurally complex. Therefore, due to ambiguity, high uncertainty, and imprecise information, the concept of fuzzy analysis was introduced. Now, we could use imprecise (fuzzy) information as the input of a fuzzy system, and the process of the system could employ approximate induction based on fuzzy logic. In this regard, studying the literature of SS and the criteria used for this purpose, we identify the most suitable criteria. To do so, primarily we designed an appropriate questionnaire, and then we used it to gather ideas of the experts to obtain the weights of the criteria in the fuzzy environment. Afterwards, using the Fuzzy VIKOR approach, we ranked the suppliers. Manuscript profile -

The issues of economic recession as well as the bankruptcy of different industries, the railway industry in particular, have forced the organizations to make themselves ready for the critical days trying to remove the economic barriers by their own. So, these organizations must be familiar with the methods and tricks of the change management. This measure must be performed in such a way to make them less vulnerable to the turbulences which happen and to help them for the better quality, higher productivity with less administrative an production costs. In this paper, it is aimed to introduce the outsourcing strategy as a tool for enhancing the organizational productivity and through combining it with the DEA to provide a tool for the railway transportation companies to select their required suppliers. If the process of outsourcing by using the external resources is performed based on the certain studies, it would lead to the reduction of production costs, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, employment growth and finally to the increase of organizational productivity. Therefore, through outsourcing and combining it with DEA and GP for selecting the supplier, the process of using this acquired efficiency tool would be available. Manuscript profile -

At the first step, the supplier evaluating criteria and sub-criteria are determined and their relationships and degrees of importance are specified via the fuzzy ANP-DEMATEL method. Afterwards, regarding the high variety of purchasing items, they are categorized into four groups by the Fuzzy Inference system (Kraljik model) and suppliers in each group are ranked using the Fuzzy WASPAS method. The next step is to determine the order allocation of items in a multi-product, multi-period, multi-supplier mixed integer programming model with three objectives of minimizing the cost, maximizing total utility of the purchasing process and minimizing changes of selected suppliers as a new objective function. Finally, the LP metric method is applied to solve the proposed multi-objective model, and Pareto solutions of the problem are determined by changing the coefficients of the objectives in this method. The proposed approach is used for suppliers evaluation and order allocation in a chemical company with a high number of purchasing items and suppliers. The accuracy of results is confirmed by experts. Regarding the comprehensiveness of the proposed approach, its application increases the accuracy of suppliers evaluation and order allocation, and therefore its utilization in organizations is recommended. These models do not consider supplier selection in circumstances where some factors are non-discretionary. In this paper, we present a data envelopment analysis (DEA) approach for selection of the best suppliers in the presence of non-discretionary factors and imprecise data that considers both optimistic and pessimistic perspectives. The optimistic perspective evaluates suppliers using the optimistic efficiency and can be used for identifying optimistic efficient suppliers, whereas the pessimistic perspective evaluates suppliers using the pessimistic efficiency and can be used for identifying pessimistic inefficient suppliers. These distinct efficiencies are integrated in the form of geometric average efficiencies that provide an assessment of the overall performance of each supplier in multiple criteria compared to other rival suppliers in the same market and therefore can be used as a basis for comparison of suppliers. We show that geometric average efficiencies have more discriminative power than either of the two efficiencies. A numerical example shows the advantages, capabilities, and applications of the proposed DEA approach. Manuscript profile -

Various decision making approaches have been proposed to tackle this problem. Supplier selection is a complex multi criteria decision making problem including both quantitative and qualitative factors rather than a single factor such as cost in a traditional way. This paper proposes Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), as one of the multi criteria decision making (MCDM) approaches, for selecting and rating potential suppliers in an automotive industry. MCDM methods are formal approaches to structure information and decision evaluation in problems with multiple, conflicting goals. AHP integrates experts’ opinions and evaluation scores, and devises the complex decision making system into a simple elementary hierarchy system. The evaluation method in terms of ratio scale is then employed to perform relative importance pair-wise comparison among every criterion. Finally, a realistic case study is presented in which an automobile manufacturer evaluates and ranks the suppliers of "coil spring" part of "Tiba" automobile based on several criteria of supply reliability. A lot of models have been developed to solve the supplier selection problem. Among them, multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) has been used by lots of authors and researchers with acceptable results. A review of literature on supplier selection shows that although supplier selection is a multi-objective problem, the nature of this multi objective problem has remained unknown. In many cases, except cost, other important parameters like quality, lead time and risk are not considered. Also practically, the effect of the nature of uncertain and imprecise facts on decision making like objectives, constraints and parameters can't be disregarded. To take account of these uncertainties, this research uses fuzzy method. Discount and costs due to inventory keeping in the goal function have been considered simultaneously. We also have considered objectives like decreasing the defected parts, and late delivery. Manuscript profile -

To this end, the concept of "Total Cost of Ownership" is considered as an appropriate criterion for performance assessment and an optimal method for productivity enhancement. It is a philosophy and a purchase device that seeks to delineate the actual purchase cost of a product or a particular service from a specific, and thereby, enhance productivity by reducing viable costs of an investment or purchase. Therefore, the current study sought to explore multiple dimensions of total cost of ownership in selection and evaluation of organizational suppliers. It further aimed to present a mathematical model that can offer an indicator to evaluate the supplier's performance based on each aspect of total cost of ownership making it possible for organizational decision makers to compare each of their suppliers from different perspectives and choose the most efficient and suitable supplier while keeping the cost to an absolute minimum. The proposed index was finally described based on a sample from an automobile manufacturing company. Manuscript profile -

At the end of the interview, while analyzing the research data and findings, conclusions and finally a model was designed. By examining the regression coefficient and the degree of correlation of variables, it was determined that only the components of design and production capacity, quality management systems and financial capacity were strongly and directly related to brand credibility (confirmation of Hypotheses 1, 2, 4, 9).Finally, the coefficient of model determination in this test was estimated to be 0.42%. This means that in the final approved model, 42% of the changes in the manufacturer variable are affected by the variables of brand credibility, design and production capacity, quality management system, financial capacity, etc. Therefore, parts suppliers, including Milan Chesb Knowledge-Based Company, in order to be selected by Sapco as the top supplier, should pay more attention to the approved factors of the model compared to other variables in the article. In this procedure, by considering all alternatives and criteria evaluation, suppliers are selected. One of the methods used to evaluate and choose suppliers is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This paper proposes a model to evaluate suppliers with DEA. Sustainability criteria, which includes measures of three aspects, social, economic and environmental, are considered and three approaches, aggressive, benevolent and conservative of DEA, for considering all policies of organizations is utilized. In this research, a case study is conducted at a stone factory. Data’s of 19 quarries as suppliers in this research, is collected and top 10 suppliers are chosen and suggested to the factory. This model is solved with GAMS and finally, sensitivity analysis on the top ranked suppliers, displays importance of the criteria to help other suppliers to improve their performance. Survey was done across all employees associated with the evaluation and selection of suppliers of the steel company, which had a total of about 200 people. Sampling method of this study is sampling available. Questionnaire used as a data collection tool, and for this research two questionnaires prepared to provide two levels of selection A comprehensive approach inclusive two-level structural equation modeling and fuzzy logic approach is proposed. SPSS, Lisrel and Matlab softwares were used for data analysis. After reviewing the literature and views of the experts of Khoozestan Steel, 8 criteria have been identified including high quality, Supplier delivery performance, service standard level, the cost and pricing level, high standard of management and organization, financial status, level of technology and technical capabilities and experience in providing funding for supplier evaluation and selection. After analysis, the results of the study showed that eight specified criteria have significant impact on the choice of supplier. The findings also confirmed the fitness and suitability of the supplier selection model and determination of the relative importance of research in the first level and position options for the Khoozestan Steel Company for determination of the supplier of alloy components at the second level and confirmation of compatibility and validity of decisions and final output of the proposed model showed that the scores are calculated. The highest of the A supplier has the most importantce and highest rank, and therefore the best option for Khoozestan Steel Company for supplying the alloy components. After A supplier, the suppliers of C, D and B are next in rank respectively. Manuscript profile
