Despite the importance and position of family businesses in job creation and increasing income and economic development of communities, there is much evidence of short life and the sale or closure of this type of business after one generation and a small percentage of them to future generations. Are transferred. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a model based on which the sustainability of family businesses in Iran can be explained. The present study is a descriptive-survey research in terms of applied purpose and in terms of nature and has been conducted within the framework of a qualitative approach and using the data research method of the foundation. Data collection tools were in-depth and unstructured interviews and in order to collect information, 12 experts, managers and family business owners were interviewed using snowball sampling method. Finally, after open, axial and selective triple coding, the conceptual model of the research was designed based on a paradigm model. The findings of this study indicate that this model was divided into 9 main categories and 25 variables.
