The structure of Daoism is similar to that of Confucianism: both expressa this-worldly concern for the concrete details of experimental existenceand tangible phenomena for men rather than pursuing abstractions andideals, or setting up the logical and philosophical rules or dogmaticprinciples. Because of this fact, metaphysics in China is different fromwhat was discussed in Greeck or Islamic philosophy. Explanation ofUltimate Reality, including kind of sacredness, is one of the mostsignificant problems of ancient chinese metaphysics. In Daoism andConfucianism, two concepts can be considered from this point of view:Tian or Heaven and Dao. Both Daoism and Confucianism conceive theworld as the trinity of heaven, earth, and man, emphasizing theconstitution of harmony and consistency between them. However, thereexist serious distinctions especially in their interpretation of Dao.Confucius intended moral perfection and improvement of social systemand recognized Dao in depth of tradition and society; while in Daoism,Dao is the axis of everything and the mere Truth or standard man shouldaccept its harmonious flow and conform himself with it. As a result, man'sfelicity is perceived in nature not in society. In China, nature has a widemeaning, ranging from material phenomena to non-material ones in bothregions of heaven and human beings. Finally, Confucianism can beunderstood as a Humanistic school that pays attention to metaphysics justfor its influence on human being, and Daoism as a Naturalistic one inviteshuman being to discover the rules of sensible nature by a metaphysicalapproach Manuscript profile

This paper is a reflection on the interaction between metaphysics andscience that has been existed since the pre-modern epoch, an exampleof which was actualized in Aristotle's system of metaphysics andscience. Yet, this interaction was gradually undermined by the adventof scientific revolution especially the classic period of science in the17th and 18th century in modern epoch. In the 19th century, theappearances of positivism caused metaphysics lose its meaningfulnessand laid it aside from the realm of episteme and then put it in the sphereof tastes, emotions and passions. In the 20th century, philosophies andmetaphysical systems, in the common sense, failed to direct sciencesand claimed a sort of independence from sciences through raisingtechnical problems in fields of language and logic. However, this independence supported metaphysics and philosophyversus techno-science, in the meanwhile metaphysics lost another mainrole, the raising rationality in the field of sciences. This article explainsthis problem after a brief introduction and argues that pursuit of thisissue is not a technical-academic problem but a matter of human life. Manuscript profile

The English biologist and philosopher, Richard Dawkins, in hissimplicity argument claims that the basic rules of physics are simple, soit is actually more likely that the relatively simple laws of nature wouldbe came into existence for no reason than that they would be designedby a God whose being would have to be more complex than they are. Thus, there is no God. By contrast, keith Ward and other theistphilosophers like Richard Swinburne and Alvin Plantinga withseparating "exclusive" and "inclusive" simplicity, defends from"integrative" simplicity of God. The existence of God integrates allelements, products of evolution and natural basic rules, in acomprehensive system, thus, it is simplest explanation, whileDawkins's materialistic view, is not enough explanatory. So "simplicityargument", is in fact, "the fallacy of simplicity". In this article, it istried to deny Dawkins's simplicity argument. Manuscript profile

In this research, the theory of probabilistic causation is investigated. The main idea of this theory is that the cause changes the probability ofhappening effect. The causation in this theory is introduced as anobjective relation and it is based on inherent properties. The causalrelation is attended in type level. Otherwise human cognition of naturalphenomena is not definite and determined; the process of cognition isapproximated to the truth. In another words, with the acceptance offault of human cognition, man suggests a probable frame forexplanation of his findings. Probabilistic causation uses the probabilitytheory as a tool for explaining the relationship between cause andeffect. Probabilistic causation is proposed in two levels: type level(General causal) and token levels (Singular causal). In this research, like Eells’s approach, probability causation relationship in type leveland it is considered in General causal meaning. Causal relation isconsidered as typical factor or Property. There are two differentinterpretations: objective interpretation and subjective interpretation. What is explored in this research is objective interpretation in the frameof frequency-propensity interpretation. The main question in thisresearch is consideration in the sense of probabilistic causation theoryand pondering the capability and merits of this concept in against withontological and epistemological challenges. For Heidegger, thinking cannot be limited to metaphysics, science and technology, subjectivism, representation, and logic. Rather, meditative thinking has requirements, the most important of which are questioning and getting on the path of thought. In his view, thinking (denken) and thanks giving (thank / danken) are cognate and are associated with logos or speech. However, the main feature of thinking is that it seeks an existence that invites it to think. According to Rumi, true knowledge cannot be achieved through theoretical or acquired knowledge. Rather, thinking is below mystical or by-presence perception and implies memory, intuition, taste and love. According to him, the main requirement of thinking is behavior, in the highest level of which, a perfect human being will attain certainty and knowledge by connecting with the truth. Thus, in spite of their obvious differences in terms of intellectual origin and principles of thought, but also common elements can be seen in their thought. As Heidegger and Rumi believe, the ratio belief and rationalism alone cannot lead to thinking. Rather, it is a meditative or spiritual thought that will occur through intuition and Openness. Today، theoretical sciences are practiced through experimental and practical activities. In other words، sciences such as physics and biology، which are derived from nature، have turned into fundamental bases for the study of other subjects such as arts and architecture. Taking architectural ideas out of natural features is being widely used in modern architects' works (such as the Fractal and Revolutionary ideas)، so a need arises here to find some media to generalize scientific details in different fields and apply them to the details in architecture. To find these intermediaries، the involved process is moving from instances to the generalities to reflect them in architectural instances of expressing natural features directly in the architectural forms which must be avoided and instead we should observe general rules of nature and then reflect them in the architecture. The process of 'from slight to whole and from whole to slight' or the so-called 'architectural creativity' will result in prominent and lasting works in our provided architecture that they are derived from natural observations. The subject-matter has been dealt with in this article.  The article consists three major parts as fallows. • A study of religious، mystical and functional aspects، as well as the philosophy of nature.  • Looking for some principles governing natural phenomenon which could be useful in generating forms.  • A study of natural forms for architects and designers.  Manuscript profile

Martin Heidegger, the influential twentieth century's philosopher in Iran has had a considerable success. Seyyed Ahmad Fardid was one of the first thinkers in Iran to pay attention to Heidegger's thought. At the same time, Henry Carbone, one of the most important contemporary thinkers, who was also a commentator and translator of Heidegger's works, read the philosophical and theological heritage of ancient Iran, inspired by Heidegger's insights. Alignment and synchronicity, as well as differences between the two cases of the influence of Heidegger's thought, are the subject of the present article. Considering the approach of the two to Heidegger's legacy and the attempt to apply it to the issues of Iranian thought shows that both Fardid and Carbone have entered into discussions with Heidegger from the point of view of expert thinkers and have expanded their intellectual position. Since time immemorial the elements of nature and their metaphysical traverse have been reflected in the literary works and the poets have referred to them in order to describe, eulogize, reproach, elegize and lyricize others. The manifestation of Nature could be found abundantly in Rumi’s Mathnavi and Divan-e Shams, and it is due to his metaphysical acknowledgement of the world. This claim is proved by the great variety of those element in the immense bulk of his verses. The mystic poets have experienced extraterrestrial conceptions that are intricate and mysterious and have reflected them in the imagery of their poems, wherein the Nature and natural phenomena are significantly present. Thinking of the Nature is in fact thinking of oneself, and a poem dealing with the Nature and the beyond has always been the concern of the poets in all times; though the poet who pioneered this applying of metaphysical imagery in his poetry is Sanāʾi. Rumi, on the other hand, refined it to its highest level, making a bridge between physical and metaphysical worlds through providing the classic poetry with mystical companionship. The researchers in this paper have applied a library-based descriptive-analytical approach to study how Rumi has used the Nature and its elements in his mystical poetry as well as the ways he has modified the metaphysical notions through physical purports.              In Avestan, Simorgh meant an eagle. This legendary-mythical bird is a totem of Iranian literature. The virtues of wiseness and awareness of inner secrets have given this bird a supernatural face. Even mystic and epic poets have tried to make this metaphysical creature seem natural. The presence of Simorgh in Iranian epics begins with the birth of Zal and ends with his death. Persian literature has used the concept of Simorgh in mystic and Sufi writings to express divine mysteries and fine words in the form of stories, parables, and allegories. With the features mentioned in mystic and lyric literature about Simorgh, it is no doubt a divine creature. If this bird is viewed negatively, it may be by non-Iranians who are not deeply familiar with Iranian cultural concepts or they are biased towards the behaviour of the Simorgh’s rival. They have overlooked the point thatSimorgh’s behaviour is a reflection of his rival’s behaviour. Manuscript profile

Distinguishing empirical knowledge from non-empirical knowledge is one of the important issues of epistemology. The criterion for distinguishing "science" from non-empirical knowledge actually goes back to determining the role of experience in science. The traditional and inductive view considers the role of experience to confirm scientific statements. From this point of view, a scientific theorem is a theorem that can be confirmed and finally proved by an experimental method.  The famous philosopher of science, Karl Popper, at the beginning of the 20th century, proposed the criterion of "falsifiability" as a criterion for distinguishing "science" from other types of knowledge. In the present article, the author tries to reveal the epistemological result of his opinion by referring to some of the criticisms that have been made to Popper's theory, that in experimental science, neither definite proof nor definite refutation is possible. This important point is an emphasis on the hypothetical nature of experimental science. Manuscript profile

The area is located in both Eastern Alborz and Central Iran geological settings and known as Gollejeh/ Gulluja region. A wide spectrum of extrusive and intrusive igneous rocks as well as volcanoclastic sediments are exposed in the investigated area. Structural elements such as faults along with lithological heterogenities led to differential erosion and creation a various topography. The aim of the study is to measure the contamination of the radioactive elements of uranium, thorium and potassium in such geological setting. A total of 52107 samples were systematically gathered by airborn radiometric geophysical method. Statistical analysis and iso-concentrational mapping overlain on the satellite and geological map of the area show that the high concentration of these radioactive elements is generally associated with the igneous rocks such as granitic rocks distributed in the eastern part of the study area (e.g. Varmaziarabd village). The low concentrations of the U, Th and K could mainly be observed over volcanoclastic rocks in the middle parts of the study area (e.g. Habash and Tristan villages). Average concentration of the radioactive elements does not show a serious contamination in the area, while the maximum concentration of the thorium elements exceeds the standard of WHO.    Manuscript profile

Along with the considerable growth of emerging technologies (such as artificial intelligence and big data, internet of things, blockchain, cloud computing, etc.) and expansion of their application in people’s everyday life, one of the technological concepts which has received more attention recently is the Metaverse or meta-universe. Metaverse as a virtual world is based on Virtual Reality technology and simulates environments, objects, people and their communications in a 3D space and provides a near-reality experience known as immersive experience for users. One of the contexts which is noticeably affected by Metaverse is education. Using VR and Metaverse, we can cope with many existing educational challenges such as space and time limitations, lack of sufficient raw materials, difficulties of equipment maintenance, etc. using cost-effective and low-risk solutions. In this paper, Mechaverse, the Iran’s first domain-specific metaverse of mechanical engineering is introduced which is designed and implemented to provide laboratory courses and skill workshops related to physics and mechanics. Afterwards, necessary tools for development of Mechaverse are described and some defined practical courses and the mechanisms of accessing and using them are discussed. Manuscript profile

The purpose of the present study is to determine the effectiveness of Stress Inoculation Training (SIT) on reducing test anxiety and enhancing academic performance of Iranian female secondary students in physics during academic year 1393-1394. The research method was quasi experimental with the experimental and control groups. To do this, forty students were selected through convenience sampling technique out of the research population, which included all students suffering from test anxiety. The research sample was then randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. The experimental group had been under group intervention with an approach based on stress inoculation training (SIT) for eight sessions. During this period, no intervention on control group was done. The research instruments were Philipʼs test Anxiety Questionnaire (PAQ) and scores in physics which were used for both groups during the pretest and posttest. The researchers used Analysis of Covariance to analyze the obtained data. The results showed that Stress Inoculation Training (SIT) led to decreased test anxiety and increased academic performance of the experimental group during the posttest (p< 0/05). Manuscript profile

Karst and karst cavities are one of the most challenging subjects. Given that karst areas cover approximately 20% of the land area, Identifying and investigating the location of karst buried cavities can be useful in various usages such as tourism development, subsidence prevention and karst water resources. In the rifts of Shaho, located in Kermanshah province, karst landforms, including caves and buried cavities, are well stretched. The current study attempted to identify rapid and early karst cavities using an easy and low-cost method in geomorphological studies. To this end, in Shaho rifts (Quri Qaleh cave and its surroundings), two geophysical methods namely Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) and Very Low Frequency Electromagnetism (VLF) were utilized and compared. Initially, by determining the location of the cave on the ground, the profile performing route was designed perpendicular to the cave route. Then, 5 profiles were performed by VLF and 4 profiles by ERT method. Four ERT profiles perpendicular to profiles 2, 4 and 5 of VLF were taken and finally the results of the two methods were compared. In addition to determining the exact location of the cave, the results of both methods revealed anomalies outside the cave. Other findings of the research include the possibility of rapidly achieving the results and the cheaper use of the VLF method compared to other identification methods. Manuscript profile

The aim of this paper is the classification the economic entropy index in a macroeconomic model. Therefore, the descriptive-analytical methodology and econophysics and systems theory were used. The results show that the economic entropy was divided in four sections, shock entropy, respiration entropy, sleep entropy, and entropy of waste. Increasing the economic entropy index due to the scarcity of environmental resources, predicts the likelihood of an economic catastrophe. This will not only bring about economic growth faces serious problems, but the environment poses a serious problem as a place of residence. According to the results, reducing the instabilities and external stresses to reduce shock entropy, developing the appropriate rules for firms to reduce respiratory entropy, policies based on the reduction of physical and social waste to reduce the entropy of waste and policies for the use of production spaces that are not currently in use to reduce sleep entropy recommended. Abstract: It is well-known that the reflectivist perspective represents the ideational turn in the contemporary international relations. In this context, one can reflect on the strands of theorizing which revolved around the meta-theoretical commitments to the triad modes of ontology, epistemology and methodology. In this paper the author tries to apply the philosophical insights of two conspicuous masters of twenty century philosophers, Husserl and Heidegger to take a critical reflection on, and so deconstruct the situation of reflectivism in IR. In author’s view development in the perspectives of theorizing in international relations, the metaphysics of rationalism based on the endless game of sovereignty and anarchy concerning anarchical international system of the sovereign states has been translated into the meta-physics of reflectivism representing the meta-theoretical questions. Drawing on Husserl and Heidegger points of view, especially conceptions of intentionality and temporality, the author reduces meta-theory/ meta-physics of the contemporary international relations to theorist by shifting to her or his instead of theory. To sum up, theorist’s understanding of the meaning of contemporary International Relations is contingent upon her or his temporally shared being-ness horizon with the other humans/ beings, and subsequently, her or his knowledge of them depends on their temporality. The methodology used in the paper in content analysis and the collection of data is by library material. Manuscript profile

Philosophyof science, among Muslim philosophers, embraces certain priory and crucial rules which the discursive-real sciences must take them as their logical structures. On the basis of the rules, each science should have its own subject and follow in the explanation, the principles and rules of proof expand their domination in their determined boundaries, in their researches should intend the essential properties of subject as well. The later point has not been respected in the metaphysics and violated repeatedly by the philosophers. The subject of metaphysics is being qua being, and all predictions of issues must be essential accidents of the topic while many metaphysical predictions are not such. This methodological error has not been considered by most philosophers. Some others, representing certain solutions, having confessed and acknowledged this error. The most important solutions are two things: the first, the metaphysics has no specific subject. The second, the rules of the philosophy of science are preferable and unnecessary to be followed. The first solution which is the ancient one with a little revise has been accepted in this article as a modern solution. Accordingly, the different branches of philosophy which have their own specific and independent subjects and issues, in virtue of their method and basic issues, can be laid under general topic of philosophy as we can put the sciences under the title of experimental sciences. This article is going to discuss the different meanings and usages of the word metaphysics in the Kant’s philosophy. Kant’s definition of metaphysics is one of the most controversial issues in his philosophy. Generally, according to Kant, this word has three different meanings: The unattributive meaning or the substantive meaning. The genitive meaning. The meaning of the participle or qualificative meaning. The first meaning consists merely of the word metaphysics as a noun. The second meaning includes genitive terms such as metaphysics of morality, metaphysics of rights, metaphysics of nature and etc. The third meaning includes qualificative terms such as metaphysical exposition, metaphysical dogmatism, and etc. Among these meanings Kant only criticizes the first one. Debate over an independent philosophical field under the title of Metaphilosophy is rather a new one and has particularly begun with Kant’s serious reflections on the cognitional nature of philosophy and by the 1960s reaches its climax as a serious issue. However, from the outset of philosophical thinking in Greece– although sporadically– debate over the nature of philosophy and its subject, method and end has been one of the important issues of philosophy. Aristotle, as will be discussed in this article, on several occasions reflects on the nature of philosophy and enumerates its main subjects such as “being as being” and “separate substance”.  Afterwards, Avicenna elaborately explained this issue in the first essay of Kitāb Al-Shifāʾ, especially in the first two chapters of it. He elaborates it, on the one hand, by a negative approach and discusses things which are not the subjects of philosophy but are its problems, such as God and the Cause of causes, and on the other hand, by an affirmative approach discusses the subjects of philosophy, such as “being as being” and “separate substance”. This article tries to survey Avicenna’s views on the subject of philosophy and its relation with separate substance, physics and mathematics.  In fact, it criticizes the Avicenna’s Metaphilosophy of Kitāb Al-Shifāʾ. The concept of financial sustainability has been in the economic literature for nearly two decades. In the theoretical financial literature, firm financial sustainability can be described as a financial system consisting of financial intermediaries, markets, and market infrastructures that are capable of withstanding risk shocks and resolving financial imbalances. Therefore, according to the above argument, the purpose of the present study is to present a proposed model for measuring the financial sustainability of the company by using Econophysics and artificial neural network using a sample of 132 companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange during 2015-2019. The results of the first hypothesis show that the prediction of financial sustainability based on the Econophysics method can provide better results. Also, based on the result of the second hypothesis, the Bayesian method can predict better financial sustainability. Finally, by comparing the Econophysics and Bayesian approaches to predicting financial sustainability of the firm, it can be concluded that the prediction of financial sustainability based on the economophysical method yields better results than the Bayesian method. The purpose of this research is expanding the ground drivers of financial physics for the neurofinance effectiveness in the logic of financial decision makers. The implementation process of this study was mixed in terms of data collection. So, in the qualitative part, through a systematic screening, the background drivers of neurofinance in financial decisions were identified, and then, based on the pre-test and post-test plan, the difference between the approaches of financial analysts was determined through variance analysis. The results of the study showed that the experimental group, which was influenced by the skill evaluation of the identified drivers, has a higher coefficient than the control group in both decision-making scenarios of the analysts. It was also found that the experimental group, which was influenced by the DOPS skill evaluation based on the identified background drivers, has a higher favorability in the fair value fluctuation decision scenario than the conservative decision scenario. While the average of the control group is exactly the opposite of the experimental group. Manuscript profile

This paper is trying to investigate comovement of the stock market, foreign exchange and gold in Iran. For this purpose, comovement and relationship mutually of these markets in Iran’s economy during the period 30.09.1997- 21.07.2015 with the weekly frequency have been investigated by the wavelet coherence analysis and Econophysics approach. The results of coherence analysis show that in the short time horizon during 2005-2008 and medium-term horizons during 2003-2006, the relationship between stock return and the exchange rate has been in the opposite direction (opposite phase). But in the longer-term horizonsduring2007-2010, the stock return moves after the moving exchange rate that the stock return is a lagging variable. Also, the coherence between gold and the exchange rate in the short term during1998-2002 was high with the same phase. After these years and during 2002-2012, the correlation between gold and the exchange rate had not been high particularly at high long-term horizons but after the year of 2012 with the intensification of sanctions, the coherency of these two markets has been high with the same phase until the year of 2014. Moreover, the coherency between stock return and the gold coin rates show that the intensity of correlation between these two variables during the period of study was low but the correlation of these two variables in 16-64 weeks’ horizons during 2001-2004 was high that of course, the direction of this relationship has been reversed.
