This research introduces the behavioral finance. Investment in a coherent state requires analyzing the main character of the investors decisions. In this case, the activities related to the decision making process are such very important factors in the investors working environment and affect their decisions. Some psychological factors including the perceptual errors are effective in their financial decisions. The existence of the psychological factors, prevent the investors from making perfectly rational decisions and this is in contradiction with the efficient market hypothesis. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the locus of control on the perceptual errors in the decision making of the investors, reducing such errors, and eventually lead the markets toward efficiency.                                                                        From the purpose point of view, this research is an applied one, and it   has a descriptive correlation nature. In this study, the information is collected by the questionnaire, and the questionnaire distribution among the sample members is carried out through the simple, random sampling. The statistical population includes the whole actual investors in the Tehran Stock Exchange, the stockbrokerages and the common funds of investment in the Tehran Stock Exchange. Some statistical softwares such as the “spss 19” and “lisrel 8.7” were applied to test the hypothesis. The research hypothesis was tested through structural equation modeling, and the results indicated that some factors like job satisfaction, motivation, efficiency, positive experiences of working, and stress are proved effective on the perceptual errors of the investors, but the managerial strategies do not have such effects. The studies related to suicide , investigate three important phenomena which include suicide thoughts , suicide action , and suicide .pick in 1991 discussed that suicide thoughts is a two factor concept , which is specified with absence of life thoughts and presence of death thoughts . Therefore, this research has been accomplished with the objective of surveying the relation between control resource (internal – external) and life and death thoughts of the university students. The research was accomplished in Sistan and Balouchestan, in educational year 2008 -2009. 370 students (182 girls and 188 boys) were selected as statistical sample by classificatory random sampling method. After performance of control resource, life thoughts and suicide thoughts questionnaires, the data were gathered. In addition to using descriptive statistical methods such as frequency, the data were analyzed by statistical method of K square congruence.  The findings demonstrated that the girls with internal control resource had higher life thoughts but they did not have lower death thoughts than girls with external control resource. Also, girls with external control resource had lower life thoughts but they did not have higher death thoughts. Boys with internal control did not have higher life thoughts and lower death thoughts, and boys with external control resource did not have lower life thoughts and higher death thoughts.  Probably, one of the reasons that control resource in this research has less effects, is the power of religious and cultural beliefs. Probably, spiritual control resource can be more effective in controlling individual behaviors. Manuscript profile

The present study was aimed to explain the causal relationship between academic conflict, external locus of control and academic resilience. Participants included 400 students from Lorestan University in the academic year of 2017-18, selected by simple random sampling method. In order to measure the variables of the research academic resilience, external locus of control and academic conflict questionnaires were used. To evaluate the proposed model, AMOS software and path analysis method were used. The findings showed that, according to the values of the indices, the data are fitted with the research model; the external locus of control, academic conflict, problem-oriented and positivist, skill of communication and future orientation Variable are positively predictive; academic conflict variable can positively affect the problem-orientation, communication skills and future orientation; Significant predictive value; external locus of control through academic conflict significantly predicts all aspects of academic resilience. Therefore, according to the results, it is obvious that increasing the tendency towards the external locus of control and consequently increasing the level of academic conflict will increase the problem-oriented and positivist level, communication skills and future orientation in the students Manuscript profile

The present research has been carried out with the purpose of investigating the relationship between managers' locus of control and the job motivation of the staff of East Azarbaijan Islamic Azad Universities during the years 88-89 (2009-2010). The statistical population consists of 22 branches of Islamic Azad University throughout East Azarbaijan Province including all the branches of region 13 of Islamic Azad University. Within these branches the total number of administrative managers and deputies was 121, and the total number of the female and male staff working under these managers was 2150. Sampling was done using Morgan's sampling formula, according to which the sample size of managers was 93 and that of the staff was 326. The research method is correlational. In order to test the hypotheses, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and Qui square (X2) were used. The data analysis was corried out through the use of descriptive and inferential statistics and by using SPSS software. The findings indicate that if the managers of the organizations have internal locus of control, they will have a more positive effect on their personnel. Furthermore, due to the inverse relationship between the managers’ external locus of control and the staff’s job motivation, the more a manager has external locus of control and behaves according to it in the organization, the more his staff’s job motivation will decrease. A sample of 181 female and 175 male university students (19.5 years old on average) responded to the Religious Attitude Scale (Khodayarifard, 1999), Levenson Locus of Control Inventory (Levenson, 1972), and the Self-esteem Inventory (Cooper-Smith, 1967). Pearson’s correlation analysis revealed a significant positive correlation among the religious attitudes, internal locus of control and self-esteem. Step by step regression analysis revealed that the internal locus of control and self-esteem respectively accounted for 31% and 4% of the variance in the religious attitude.      Manuscript profile

The purpose of the current research is to predict vulnerability to stress based on personality traits, source of control, social support and resilience of elderly residents in a nursing home in Kermanshah. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey research method of correlation type. The statistical population of the research is made up of all the elderly living in the nursing home of Kermanshah city. The number of these elderly people is 770, and 256 people were selected as a sample using the simple random sampling method and Cochran's sample size formula and questionnaires (Sayed Khorasani and Sedkiani's stress syndrome scale (1377), NEO-FFI short form (NEO-FFI), Costa and McCree (1985), control scale (internal-external), Rutter (1967), support scale Social (SS-A) Wax, Phillips, Holley, Thomson, Williams and Stewart (1986), Connor and Davidson (2003) Resilience Scale were distributed among them. Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data in this research according to the research hypothesis. The results showed that vulnerability to stress can predict personality traits, locus of control, social support and resilience of the elderly. Therefore, it is suggested that they receive more social support in the elderly centers and resiliency skills should be taught to the elderly in order to reduce the vulnerability of the elderly to stress. Depression and obsessive-compulsive disorders are common mental health problems in people, and several factors play a role in these disorders. One of the most important components of mental health is the locus of control. The aim of this study was to compare the locus of control and mental health in depressed and obsessive-compulsive patients. The research method was descriptive and causal-comparative with the participation of 140 people (70 people with obsessive-compulsive disorder and 70 people with depression) from outpatients referred to Kermanshah psychiatric clinics in 2021. The instrument of the present study included the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) and Ratter Locus of Control Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent t-tests. The results showed that the locus of control of most people (82.1%) was external and the score of mental health and its components were moderate. Although the variables incloud social dysfunction, anxiety disorder, and physical symptoms were more prevalent in obsessive-compulsive disorder than in depressed individuals, this difference was not statistically significant. Depression was more common in depressed people than in obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the difference was statistically significant. Mental health was significantly weaker in obsessive-compulsive disorder than in depressed individuals, although locus of control was not significantly different in the two groups of patients. Depressed and obsessive-compulsive patients have different personality traits, at least in some components of mental health, although they did not show a statistically significant difference in the locus of control, which can be considered to control and treat mental disorders. This study aimed to predict happiness based on the locus of the control, personality traits and academic self-efficacy of the female students. The present study was a descriptive-correlational one. The statistical population consisted of all high school female students in District 8, of whom, 150 students were selected as the research sample using the cluster sampling method and based on the Green (1991) Sample Size determination in regression. The subjects were examined using the Oxford’s Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ), Rotter's Locus of Control Scale, NEO Personality Inventory (NEO PI) and Morgan-Jinks Student Self-Efficacy Scale (MJSES). Pearson correlation and multivariate regression analysis were used to analyze the data simultaneously using SPSS-22 software. The results of correlation test showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the locus of control and happiness (0.661) (p≥0.01) and there was a negative relationship between neuroticism (-0.403) and happiness (p≥0.01). However, there was a significant positive relationship between extroversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness with happiness at 0.01. Moreover, there was a significant positive relationship between academic self-efficacy and happiness of the female students (p≥0.01). Simultaneous regression showed that locus of control, personality traits and academic self-efficacy predict happiness in female students (p≥0.01). It can be concluded that locus of control, personality traits and academic self-efficacy predict the happiness of high school female students. Manuscript profile
