One of the paradigms proposed in the field of social psychology of the body, which has become popular among girls today, is the body management of Generation Z, in which girls are faced with changes in the physical characteristics of their bodies after the 1401 protests. The research method was applied in terms of application and purpose, and the survey method was used in terms of descriptive-analytical implementation. The research tools include Bourdieu's cultural capital questionnaire and the researcher-made questionnaire on girls' body management scale and Gibbons' social comparison. This research was conducted in 2022 and the sample size was made up of 60 girls aged 15 to 30 in Sanandaj, the sampling method was a simple random type and for the analysis of quantitative data, SPSS26 and SMART software was used. PLS has been used. The research findings showed that there is a significant relationship between the variables of generation z body management, cultural capital, virtual space, and social comparison of the mentioned variables. The social-psychological model of body management of generation z (z) based on virtual space and cultural capital with the mediation of social comparison (a case study of protest girls 1401) is suitable. The effect of predicting body management of Generation Z girls based on the social comparison in this research is equal to 0.42 and the effect of predicting body management based on cultural capital in this research is equal to 0.44 and the effect of predicting body management of Generation Z. based on virtual space in this research is equal to 0.47. In generation z girls of Sanandaj city, social comparison is an essential source of information about the self-management of generation (Z) bodies, and social comparison processes fill the gap between self-related topics and the concept of individual and intergroup identity based on protest psychology. As the consumption of external virtual space increases, the body management of generation z increases. In fact, these results show that the society in question has been exposed to conflicting and emerging sources of identity. Manuscript profile

The research method is correlation and data using quantitative method were collected through a questionnaire. Using Cochran formula, among 351 female students of Islamic Azad University ofBukan 184 students wererandomly selected. The reliability of the questionnaire is 82%which isobtained by usingCronbach'salpha. In order to determine the correlation between variables, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used. Because the significancy test of variables is less than 0/05 of the (0/05>sig), it can be concluded that the hypothesis was confirmed and there is correlation between these variables and body management. Religious variable (with explanatory power-22percent) has a negative relationship with the body management. Also, variables of leisure activities (47%), consumption norms (44%), cultural consumption (23 percent), and income (21 percent) can explain body management.  Manuscript profile

From the pre-modern times to the present day, there have been major changes in the meaning of body, ideal body and aesthetic interventions in the body. As the body and its related standards become valuable, people's self-concept is increasingly tied to it and the people's social status, identity and prestige are defined by their physical qualities. Therefore, due to the importance of the above mentioned relationship, this study was conducted with a survey method to assess the relationship between different dimensions of self-concept and weight control dimension of body management among female students of the Tabriz Azad University in 2018-2019. The present study is a quantitative, cross-sectional study and it was conducted by using a questionnaire tool. The sample includes 384 students using Cochran formula. The results of the research show that a large number of the sample population (% 63.3) has a great tendency to control their weight to prevent overweight. Also, there was a significant inverse correlation between body satisfaction and BMI. It means that as body mass index (BMI) increases, body satisfaction decreases. Also, students' self-esteem decreases with the assumption of obesity, and a significant inverse correlation was seen between self-esteem affected by obesity and the amount of weight controlling activities. They indicate that the students give much more value (mean=74.75) to aesthetic body care. Manuscript profile

.The purpose of this study was to understand the place of media and social networks in the conceptual model of women's body management and the acquisition of modern identity. The research was conducted using qualitative approach, grounded theory method and the paradigmatic model. Data analysis was performed using the continuous comparative method of Strauss and Corbin. Unstructured, in-depth interviews were conducted individually, and the duration of each interview session was between 1-2 hours. 15 interviews were conducted. 67 concepts were formed and 21 categories were created. Interviewees were selected via a snowball sampling method. In this study, triangulation validity was used. The results showed that the modern identity was acquired through exclusion of the adult woman, psychological and mental preoccupations, and compliance with social demands. Factors affecting the acquisition of modern identity were identified as body-dysmorphic-disorder, the desire to reach the era of beauty and dreaming of the ideal body. Advancement of technology, people's encouragement and public acceptance were the intervening conditions and the acquisition of modern identity lead to imitating of media and reference groups and a search for beauty surgeons and hair stylits. The consequences of such actions and responses are addiction and dependency to makeup, showing the vertical mobility of social classes, showing good taste and creativity to others, and the spreading of a culture of consumption. Based on qualitative grounded theory, we conducted in-depth semi-structured interviews with 25 subjects, all married living in Tehran. The concepts inherent in the narratives and anecdotes were extracted from the interviews and then codified into concrete categories which were ultimately classified under certain pivotal codes. These pivotal codes were distilled into certain selected codes which showed a phenomenon we called “fear from inattention and unseen.” Our main question in this study was whether apprehension of husband’s infidelity had any influence on women’s body management. Our subjects’ status and agency in their families and societies were faced with cultural and social constraints. We concluded that the subjects of the study had already tried to attract others’ attention and make themselves distinct by managing their bodies and even accepting its possibly harmful consequences. Keywords:fear, husband’s infidelity, body management, cosmetic surgery, beauty industry Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study is finding out the women’s motivation  of accepting high costs of body management, the study is done with the qualitative approach and grounded theory method. Data collection method was unstructured interview, which was done with 15 women in Gorgan who had experience of body management. To choose the interviewees, the targeted sampling method was used, which requires sequential sampling called snowball.  The results showed that the acceptance of body management costs is caused by family support, the compelling power on the family and rejection of the status of an adult woman. The effective factors on the acceptance of the body management costs are feeling humiliated, advertisement, following media, doctors’ role and social comparison.  Having access to personal financial resources, lower position of women in the society and a way of compensating other weaknesses are of effective factors on the acceptance of body management costs which will lead to searching to find surgeons and barbers, spending time to find body management centers and getting the other people to confirm.
