Sociological strategies effective on women's physical policies in club sports

Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to provide a model of sociological strategies effective on women's physical policies in club sports. A qualitative research with a systematic exploratory approach was chosen. The statistical population of the research includes professors of sports management, sports sociology and sports psychology (at least two researches in the field of the current title) and elite female athletes (at least ten years of continuous sports activity and winning championship medals in national competitions and master's studies and Ph. D.) The number of these people was approximately 45 people. The statistical sample was selected based on reaching theoretical saturation (18 people). The research tools included a systematic library study and an exploratory (semi-structured) interview. The validity of the tool was evaluated and confirmed based on the validity of the sample, the opinion of experts, and the agreement between the correctors. In order to analyze the findings, a multi-stage conceptual coding method with a systemic analysis approach was used. Based on the extracted conceptual framework, 3 overarching themes, 7 organizing themes and 35 basic themes were obtained. Sociological strategies effective on women's physical policies in club sports are proposed in three areas: micro or individual (life style of the family and socioeconomic base of the family), middle or community level (public awareness and interpersonal factors and macro level or governance (system) education, media and laws and policies) was determined. Therefore, according to the results of the research, it is suggested that the laws and regulations should be fundamentally revised in the development of executive guarantee on women's physical policies in club sports.
