The attack of the Seljuks on Baghdad and the driving of the Fatimids back to the borders of Syria and Egypt after their temporary control over the capital of the Sunni government of the Abbasid sect, which the Fatimīds were planning to overthrow, ended the dream of the Fatimids of gaining the Shiite bases in Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula. Therefore, in order to obtain their religious-political legitimacy in Egypt and the Levant, the Fatimids took the initiative and established symbolic shrines in Palestine following the example of the chosen and popular figures of the Shiites. And in this direction, they built four tombs in four strategic areas of Palestine including: Acre, Tiberias, Ashkelon and Hebron. Friedman's goal is to present an objective analysis of the goals and motivations of the Fatimids in the symbolic identification of the tombs of the Ahl al-Bayt in Palestine. We can briefly mention the causes of numerous Arab's contemporary poetry's addressees rather than Iran's contemporary ones in the world. The most important factor which may exist in all Arab's contemporary poetry is the Palestine's tragedy. Arab's poets have a right understanding of Palestine, so they can understand the exact meaning of capitalism imperialism strife and their colonialism equations. Arab's intelligentsias don't identify Israel as a religious government, but as a balance for capitalism imperialism in the region. The other factor is the existence of professional translators who can translate Arabic poetry into western languages without changing the main idea, while Iran is interest-free of these translators. Iran's contemporary poetry is not political but the content of most of them is political. Manuscript profile

The purpose of the present study is to review causes of the downfall of the labor party in Israel’s political arena. The main research question is: what have been the most important causes of the decline of the labor party in Israel within the past 2 decades? The research method is descriptive-analytic and the results showed that the labor party’s support and back up of peace negotiations in the Middle East and the failure of the talks have been the most important causes of the party’s downfall. From the view of Jewish voters, the above party has ignored Zionist values by some suggestions and conditions such as division of Jerusalem, creating 2 governments, and withdrawal from the Golan heights and south Lebanon. They hold that the extension of the Palestinian groups’ attacks is the result of the labor party’s talks which decreased the votes and social status. Moreover, some reasons like the party’s indifference to socialist values such as joint farms (Kibbutzniks) and more support to the rich class made the middle-class distance from the party and tend to rightist and religious parties instead. Therefore, it declined the power and penetration of this moderate party in the political arena of Israel. Manuscript profile

The poems of Tawfiq Ziād are blended with signs and symbols that multiplied the charism of resistance poems, and their emotional feeling have influences on the addressees. The signs in Tawfiq’s poems are accompanied by the images of fatherland love that can convey the main message of the poem. Applying Peirce's semiotic model in the criticism of resistance poems in addition to analysis and decoding these poems, can be effective in understanding the thoughts of this great poet. So, the present article tries to analyze in an analytic-descriptive method the characteristics of the ode Kalimāt li al-Vatan (Words for fatherland) by Tawfiq Ziād from semiotic approach based on Pierce theory that is on the triad of icon, index and symbol basis. This article intends to make clear that what sort of aesthetic signs are used by Tawfiq Ziād, the contemporary Palestinian poet, and how he used aesthetic signs to influence the addressees, as well as to reveal how we can reach hidden aspects of the poet's thoughts in using signs and codes in the light of semiotic, interpretative and semantic criticisms. This article shows that Pierce semiotic theory is an appropriate pattern for research in modern poems and is more powerful than the traditional rhetorics in terms of interpretation. Furthermore, due to the nature and type of resistance poems that are composed in the atmosphere of tyranny and suffocation, their signs are implicit and mysterious. In this ode the symbolic signs are more than iconic signs and indces.  Manuscript profile

Of course some do not accept the influence of Islamic learning in this awakening and recount other reasons. Undoubtedly Islamic awakening began with occupation of Palestine in the region and continued with different ideologies some of which were west oriented and some national religious oriented ones. This sense of awakening is clearly reflected in Arabic literature as well as Bahrain's literature which is the subject of this paper. Special  terminology indicates the effect of Islamic learning on the poet. For example, in Bahrain's literature one can observe terms such as Allah (God), Alnabi (prophet),Alkoran ( Holy Koran), Alrab (God), Almeraj(salvation), Alshahid(martyr)w which is a proof to this influence. Some thoughts and events are of a prominent position in human life as if they lead human to insistence and repetition by becoming a part of his concerns and at last they represent themselves as an individual and permanent feature in his conscious and unconscious. But permanent repetition of the mentioned imagery represents a subject  of whose reality there is no information available under normal circumstances. Hence, repetition though, it is a linguistic-critical phenomenon, appears sometimes as a motif, in frame of a fundamental element in a poetic text, in signs and implications among which the poet included poetic codes and images to promote beauty and attraction of his text. Motif is highly significant in Samih Alqasim poetry and lets the viewer find the key hidden in his work in the form of a noun, verb or a sentence for a main point around which his poem turns. Of course the poet occasionally resorts to repetition which accompanies with insistence on temporary concern to have a certain view. As an instance, he uses palm and olive motifs each of which has been respectively iterated 51 and 69 times in his poems with sustainability goals in poetic necessity. Meanwhile, palm implies secrets such as resistance, vitality and new life and olive inspires freshness, prosperity and the poet's religious heritage tied with his patriotic feelings. This study seeks to uncover application of palm and olive motifs in Samih Alqasim poetry with reference to statistical data and emphasis on analytical-descriptive method. Manuscript profile

he analysis of the Palestinian question and the conditions for the emergence of Israel in 1948 is an issue that is very complex in examining this issue, and this issue is at the regional level, which has different dimensions. Research on the role of the Arabs and their different approaches to the Palestinian-Israeli issue is also one of the issues that has been considered by researchers in various ways. The views of the Islamic world and the West in this regard are also other issues to be considered in this area. Today, given the compromising approach of the Arab states to Israel, Iran's position as a supporter of Palestine is becoming increasingly important. The findings of this study show that this land has been inhabited since the arrival and occupation of the Israelis in Palestine. It has witnessed heavy internal and external wars in which various parties, sects and organizations have grown up, sometimes standing opposite each other. After the formation of the state of Israel, the anger of the Palestinians against this aggression flared up more and more and they resisted the aggressors. The existence of various events and the geographical situation of the land of Palestine have caused serious and sometimes irreversible differences between Palestine and Israel. Manuscript profile

The Trump administration has promised to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Middle East by implementing the Deal of Century. Given the lack of acceptance of this plan, not only by the Palestinians but also by the United States, the main question of this research is: to what extent implementation of Deal of Century can be successful? The hypothesis of this study is as follows: due to lack of attention to the real roots of the conflict, special attention to Israeli interests, disregard for Palestinian rights, drafting a plan without negotiating with the Palestinian side, the inability of the United States to implement some provisions of the plan, the opposition of the Arab League and the European Union, this plan is not feasible and if some of its provisions are implemented unilaterally, it will only increase tensions in the Middle East. The authors have used the model of "resolving territorial disputes" to analyze the probability of success of this project using analytical and descriptive methods. Finally, the authors conclude that to achieve peace in the Middle East, an alternative plan must be considered that would ensure the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. After the formation of Israel on 14 May 1948 Iran recognized this regime on de facto basis on 6 March 1950. Israel during the second Pahlavi period considered Iran as its “strategic ally”. Ben Gurion the first Israeli prime minister set its peripheral doctrine on this basis that Israel should join hands with countries like Turkey، Iran and Ethiopia in order to surround the Arab countries. This policy could save Israel from isolation as well as achieve its national security goals. The present article first examines the existing Israeli political parties and the political factions within them and their attitude towards the Islamic Republic of Iran in three period of time. The first period is from the victory of Islamic revolution till the Madrid Peace Conference on 30 October 1991. The second period starts from 30 October 1991 till opening of Iranian case in International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the third period is from the opening of the Iranian case in IAEA till date. The question which is raised in the present article is what is the impact of Israeli political parties or coalition of political parties participating in the cabinet of the government on the attitude of Israel towards Iran. The underlying hypothesis is that Israel foreign policy towards Iran has followed a constant and fixed principles and the change in political parties or coalition of political parties constituting the cabinet or the government did not have any impact on continuity of Israel foreign policy towards Iran Manuscript profile

By using symbolic and mythological language, Mohammad Qissi, Palestinian modernist poet, has been able to play an active role in the field of resistance and struggle in his country. The ancient Arabic heritage and cultures of different nations have been his source of inspiration. The conflict existing between Arab and Jewish in the Middle East is of longer lifespan than the history of Israel establishment. Despite passage of more than 6 decades from the inception of occupying, today, peace is not yet arrived at in the Middle East and no bright horizon is predicted for this region. Investigating reasons of failure in the pace file of the Middle East; various reasons are counted, including disbelief of Israeli leaders on the prosperous destiny of peace. Attention paid to values and ideology is of special stance among leaders arising from Israeli parties and this way, until the time that parties are value-centered, the peace which could guarantee benefits of the other party won’t be reached. According to the school of constructivism, somewhat fixed identities and expectations were formed; making both sides to count each other as the first priority enemy. Moreover, this paradigm reminds that the determining factor in behavior of political parties against Arabs is not materialistic one, but it is norms which directly affect the identity and benefits of Jews. AbstractThe issue of Palestine is one of the most important international issues in the region that requires a lot of attention and study. In this article, a comparative study of the views of the Pahlavi government and the revolutionaries on the issue of Palestine is discussed. Given the history of the occupation of Palestine and the claims of the Jews about the land of Palestine in this study, the position of the Pahlavi regime from the perspective of defensive realism and the position of the revolutionaries from the perspective of idealism and we seek to answer the main question. What were the views and positions of the revolutionaries on the question of Palestine? The research findings show that the revolutionaries' view of Palestine is from the aspect of idealism and ummatism, which consider the land of Palestine as part of Islamic lands. The Shah has defended the Palestinian cause based on nationalism based on a position of realism, and has paid more attention to the security and internal interests of his country than to a Muslim country occupied by non-Muslims, and wherever he has been in his favor. It has expressed support, sometimes on the Palestinian front and sometimes on the Israeli front, as a result of which it has lacked a clear international policy. The method used is a qualitative method of documentary analysis. Manuscript profile
