The Journal of Mixed-Methods Studies in English Language Teaching (MMSELT) serves as a premiere channel for ground-breaking and seminal work in the field of mixed-methods (MM) research in applied linguistics (AL) in general and English language teaching (ELT) in particular. Of primary significance is building an international and interdisciplinary community of mixed methods researchers and scholars. The journal's scope includes developing and exploring the facets of integration in mixed methods research in AL and ELT, generating a global terminology and nomenclature for MM studies in AL and ELT, delineating where M-M research may be used most effectively, illuminating MM research design and procedure issues, and determining the logistics of conducting MM research. The journal features articles from a wide variety of international perspectives, including academics and practitioners from bilingualism, sociolinguistics, English language education, language testing and evaluation, discourse analysis, interlanguage pragmatics, and other related disciplines across the language-related sciences.
