Publication Ethics and Open Access
The editors of MMSELT follow the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), even though the journal is not a formal COPE member. The journal provides full open access: all content is freely available for non-commercial and commercial purposes. Users may copy, redistribute, transform, and build upon the material, provided the source is properly cited. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be:
-
Original work not previously published, except as an abstract, thesis, or lecture.
-
Not under consideration elsewhere (no redundant or concurrent publication).
-
Approved for submission by all authors and, where relevant, by the responsible authorities where the work was conducted.
To prevent overlap with prior publications, manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., iThenticate, Samim-Noor, and Hamta-Joo). Previously published material must be properly cited, regardless of the source or language.
Only original papers that have not been or will not be published elsewhere will be considered. If multiple or redundant publications are detected post-publication, the journal reserves the right to issue a retraction. The editors will follow COPE guidelines in handling ethical issues, including retractions.
Authors are responsible for all aspects of the study, including the accuracy and integrity of their work. By submitting a manuscript, authors declare that they are the sole intellectual authors of the work.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning tools cannot be listed as authors, because they cannot take responsibility for the work. If such tools are used in study design or methodology, their use should be clearly described in the Acknowledgments section. The Editorial Board may request raw data to verify findings if necessary.
