This study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of mindful acceptance of self-therapy and positive psychotherapy on perceived stress of female students with depression. The study was semi-experimental and research design was three groups with three stages of pre-test, post-test and follow-up. The statistical population of the study was depressed female students in Isfahan city in the fall of 2019. From the mentioned statistical population, 54 female students were selected purposefully based on the inclusion criteria, and then 18 people were randomly assigned in two experimental-groups and one control group. Cohen et al.’s perceived stress scale (1983) was used to measure dependent variable in pre-test, post-test and follow-up. The experimental groups received mindful acceptance of self-therapy and positive psychotherapy during ten 90-minute sessions. The data was analyzed through repeated measure variance analysis and Bonferroni post hoc test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in perceived stress between mindful acceptance of self-therapy and positive psychotherapy with the control group in post-test and follow-up (p<0.01). There was no significant difference between the two treatments in perceived stress (p>0.05). Given that both mindful acceptance of self-therapy and positive psychotherapy are effective treatments for reducing perceived stress in female students, these two therapies can reduce the symptoms associated with depression that result from perceived stress. For this purpose 45 subjects were selected by purposeful sampling from among foster care/irresponsible parenting adolescent girls’ care centers and were divided into three groups (individual , 15), (group, 15), (control, 15). The experimental groups received six ninety-minute sessions of positive-based psychotherapy sessions from Positive Psychological Intervention (PPI) of Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi (47), but the control group did not receive any intervention. The subjects completed the Beck Depression Inventory before and after the intervention and one month later at follow-up phase. The gathered data were analyzed using the ANCOVA statistical method. The results of the analysis indicated that the positive training on the individual group reduced the emotional symptoms of the subjects compared to the other two groups (P<0/01). However, in the follow-up phase this effect was sustained. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that positive interventions can be used to improve symptoms of persistent depressive. Adolescence with the special risks of puberty and social crises is a fertile ground for the emergence or exacerbation of psychological problems; Since this period is a critical and crucial stage, the use of educational and therapeutic approaches to increase the level of awareness of this period is of particular importance. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of positivity training and religious coping strategies on resilience in students in Tehran. For this purpose, among the statistical population of the study, which were all 11th grade female students in Tehran, using software from Gpower software and taking into account the risk of type 1 error at the level of 5%, test power 0.8, effect size 0.26, 21 people were selected for each group and randomly assigned to three experimental and control groups. The instrument used in the present study was Connor and Davidson (2003) Resilience Questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by repeated measures analysis of variance using SPSS-23 software. The results showed that the two groups of positive thinking skills and religious coping in the pre-test stage were not significantly different from the control group and also from each other (p <0.05). In the post-test stage and also the follow-up, there is a significant difference between the control group and the group of positive thinking skills (p <0.001) and religious coping skills (p <0.001), which shows the effect of positive thinking skills and religious coping training on post-test resilience, respectively. It is equal to 70.6 and 58.8%. Also, the effect of two methods of positive thinking skills and religious coping in the follow-up stage was 7.2% and 63.7%, respectively. Also, the results have shown that the difference between the two groups of positivity and religious coping skills was significant in the post-test phase and this difference was estimated to be 11.1 percent (p=0.008). This means that the positivity strategy has increased the resilience of teenagers more compared to the religious coping strategy. Therefore, the above method can be used as an effective intervention method in increasing the productivity of female adolescents. Manuscript profile
