Abstract :
Adolescence with the special risks of puberty and social crises is a fertile ground for the emergence or exacerbation of psychological problems; Since this period is a critical and crucial stage, the use of educational and therapeutic approaches to increase the level of awareness of this period is of particular importance. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of positivity training and religious coping strategies on resilience in students in Tehran. For this purpose, among the statistical population of the study, which were all 11th grade female students in Tehran, using software from Gpower software and taking into account the risk of type 1 error at the level of 5%, test power 0.8, effect size 0.26, 21 people were selected for each group and randomly assigned to three experimental and control groups. The instrument used in the present study was Connor and Davidson (2003) Resilience Questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by repeated measures analysis of variance using SPSS-23 software. The results showed that the two groups of positive thinking skills and religious coping in the pre-test stage were not significantly different from the control group and also from each other (p <0.05). In the post-test stage and also the follow-up, there is a significant difference between the control group and the group of positive thinking skills (p <0.001) and religious coping skills (p <0.001), which shows the effect of positive thinking skills and religious coping training on post-test resilience, respectively. It is equal to 70.6 and 58.8%. Also, the effect of two methods of positive thinking skills and religious coping in the follow-up stage was 7.2% and 63.7%, respectively. Also, the results have shown that the difference between the two groups of positivity and religious coping skills was significant in the post-test phase and this difference was estimated to be 11.1 percent (p=0.008). This means that the positivity strategy has increased the resilience of teenagers more compared to the religious coping strategy. Therefore, the above method can be used as an effective intervention method in increasing the productivity of female adolescents.
