Love has a significant place in the mysticism of Rūzbahān Baqlī– theprominent mystic of the 12th century. Dealing with the concept of loveis the continuation of a tradition that dates back to the early generationsof Sufis. This tradition noticeably has been reflected in Rūzbahān’sworks, especially in his Abhar al-‘Āshiqīn. In fact, he constructed hismystical path on the basis of love. He believed that love has floweddown into the whole chain of beings, from the highest level to thelowest one. From his point of view, love is one of the God’s attributes. SinceGod’s attributes are inseparable from His essence, and the essence ofGod is ineffable, so love is ineffable too. Therefore, only love coulddescribe itself. Love has no limitations; so, only love can transform therelationship between the Creator and the creature into a relationshipbetween the lover and the Beloved. Rūzbahān considers human beingas a manifestation of God’s beauty. He admires physical beauty andgoodness as an essential element for falling in love and so he believesin an eternal relation between goodness and love. He considers earthylove as a motivating factor for attaining the divine love. By presentingdifferent categories of love, he shows the way to go through this path. Manuscript profile

According to the Sufis the relation between God and the world issimilar to the relation between sun and its rays so all prophets camefrom a single source of light; however lay people who have engaged inmaterial matters could not appreciate this unity, therefore, called theprophets as Moses, Jesus and etc. Since people could not realize theessence of religion, they start interpreting it according to theirunderstanding, and as a result, fighting with each other. Rumi believesthat prophets are the representatives of God on the earth and by usingallegory he tries to explain the unity of the path of prophets. Accordingto Rumi, the mystery of the oneness of religion will be discovered onlyby cutting through the exoteric side of it. From his viewpoint the innateGod-given religion, or the real divine unity, and the devotional prayerare the essence of religion and if people understand this reality, theirconflict will be disappeared. According to the doctrine of love in the Sufi worldview, the relation between human love and Divine love has always been the subject of debate and has made it a factor to explain the "hierarchy of monotheism". This paper, which is compiled in a descriptive-analytical and phenomenological approach, shows that for Rūzbahān Baqlī, the relation between human love and Divine love is not from the viewpoint of “al-Majaz Qantaratu al-Haqiqah” but from the view that a genuine human love is God’s love. Rūzbahān, especially by highlighting the concept of "esoteric monotheism" versus "formal monotheism", reveals significant differences with its three contemporaries, followers of Shari'ah, outspoken Sufis, and most of the mystics of his time. Finally, by explaining the meaning of the two words Ighanah and Iltibas, He introduces the focus on "manifestations" of that eternal truth in the form of creatures, especially human beings, as the only way to understand the eternal beauty of God and to taste the love of communion and attainment of inner monotheism.  Manuscript profile

This article compares the views of Richard Rolle (ca. 1300- 1349), an English hermit, mystic, writer and Bible interpreter and Aḥmad Ghazālī (ca. 1060- 1126), an Iranian mystic, writer and preacher on love. These mystics have spoken of love in detail in their works, Fire of Love and Sawāniḥ al -ushshāq. This paper, shows that topics on love in these two books include: The essence of love, The beloved, Characteristics of a lover, Essentials of love and Results of love. Re-examining these categories illustrates the differences and similarities between the two mystics' views of the concept of love and lovers. The ideas of Rolle and Ghazālī are overlapping in the nature of love, but their views differ significantly on other topics. From Rolle's point of view, love cannot be realized except through the religious context and Christian ethics, and it only makes sense in relation to God, Christ and the Trinity. However, in Ghazālī's view, the ontological and psychological aspects of love and lover are more intense, and it is capable of being experienced in relation to God and his creatures. The present study compares the view of this two mystics on the Characteristics of lover in detail.  Manuscript profile

Basically, the comparative study of literary works is possible through two schools, the French and the American. In the American school a critic studies and analyzes the works of two authors or poets regardless of the concept of influence. In this school the existence of common concepts and themes is regarded as sufficient ground for a comparative analysis. If the two poets concerned are contemporary, like Qabbani and Khalil Matran, the study would be called a balance, and if the comparison involves the style and diction of two poets of different languages, like Qabbani and Moshiri, the study would be called a comparison. Thus, the current study compares the romantic poems of Nizar Qabbani and Fereydoon Moshiri focusing on their common romantic themes and notions.   Manuscript profile

Love is the key word of life mixed with human emotions and romantic whispers of a positive feeling which, according to Movlana Tabib, it is one of our causes and its depth is the key of the poetic melody of most of our poets, especially Nezar and Monzavi. The existence of lover, which is the main source of this emotional relationship mixed with melancholy, waves in the poems of Nezar Ghobani and Hossein Monzavi like other poets. But in Monzavi poetry, still it has retained the main romantic framework of classical poetry more than Nezar Ghobani's poetry. There are many opinions about Monzavi's poetry and ideas. However, in his poetry, the position of love and romance is still not far from the poetry of the Indian style period. But Nezar's poetry, if compared to the romantic themes of earlier periods, the time interval and the dominant culture in his mind, given extensive connections with the contemporary Western world; the evolution of his poetry is felt more than Monzavi depending on his position and the difference of opinions governing the society with the outside world. Love is a manifestation of human emotions. Logically, neither of lovers can commit themselves to loving the other one in the same way for ever. This has made philosophers consider this issue carefully. The aim of ethics of love is to not disregard morality and courtesy of love emphasizes the attitude of lovers after falling in love. Both ethics and courtesy of love determine the success or failure of the love relationship. Our question is how lovers would interact with each other in classic lyrical account of love, compared with some of contemporary accounts of temporary love. Since love is exquisitely manifested in classic works like Khosro and Shirin, this work was selected as the source of the study. Based on Mostafa Malekian’s article, a qualitative analysis was done to read this work to find the impact of observing or ignoring morality and courtesy of love in the romance between the love characters of this story. It was concluded that ignoring ethics of love is evident in classic works and that main characters commit immorality in love so the success of their romance is put in danger. Khosro ignoring the ethics and courtesy of love, destroys their romance. Shirin, however, observes both the ethics and courtesy of love. She behaves reasonably and tries to have love and abstinence simultaneously. It is also interesting that female lovers tend to observe the ethics and courtesy of love more than male lovers. It is used in the theme today with some modifications. In Khorāsāni School, “Vasukht” has a relative moderation and this behavior occurs the same in beloved and lover. In Arāqi style, although beloved performs “Naz” and lover shows his “Niaz”, there are pale streaks of “Vasukht” speech which is remarkable in its type. It must be said that this method of vasukht was used more during sukht poems, changed with the arrival of the, “vughu” school and “Vasukht”,  And it became an independent manner.“Vasukht”, and “sukht” both came out of the hearts of “Vughu”  And “Vughu”  also Formed  by the pattern of telling of Truth  and Verisimilitude. Love is one of the main concepts and themes in Persian literature. Attār and Mowlānā (Rumi) who are both nobles of romantic mysticism, prefer suffering in love to ascetic life. In the present article using comparative method, the manifestations of the lover and the beloved is analyzed in the odes of two poets and their views is extracted and expressed from one hundred verses that contain common and different views of them. This article aims to study the manifestations of the lover and the beloved in the odes of Attār and Mowlānā in order to describe similarities and differences between these two poets. This study is done through descriptive-analytical method. Findings of the study reveal that although there are differences between Mowlānā and Attār views in the issue of love, Mowlānā is greatly influenced by Attār, but has numerous abnormalities. Attār in his description of love, focuses more on bodily and external aspects rather than the mystical and spiritual aspects of the lover and especially the beloved. So that the bodily descriptions are more frequent. In Mowlānā odes, the descriptions of the beloved are totally mystical and even in the verses in which the poet, if necessary, describes the appearance of the beloved, they are accompanied with the mystical odour, so that the reader feels that the appearance of the beloved in these descriptions is rather symbolic. Rozbehan Baghli (died 606 AH), known as Sheikh Shatah, is a famous Sufi. His name shines so brightly in Persian Romantic Sufism that no one can deny it. One of his most important works, which is also considered valuable from a literary point of view, is Abhar al-Ashqin. This book includes chapters related to love and romance and the quality of this great state in Sufism, which is the foundation and principle of this spiritual school. In this book, Roozbahan has discussed topics such as love and the lover, the quality of communication and the unity of this secret, the commitment of the beauty of love and the inseparability of these two unseen beauties from each other, the stability of existence over love and the superiority of human beauty. This wonderful discussion, which is mixed with the most expressive Persian phrases, the most eloquent poems and the most beautiful pictures and similes, is very charming and attractive because Rozbahan's mystic state, which according to his own words has an occult source and a spiritual source, with his special ecstasy, taste and charm, has shed such a light on the expressions of the book that if we say that most of his expressions are alive and dancing, we are not wrong. What helps to bring life to most of the book's expressions is the author's use of rehetoric and especially simile. Similes is everywhere in this book and decorate most of the pages of this work. Romantic (loving) mysticism changes the relationship between God and human being from the relationship between king and peasant and even the relationship between worshiper and deity to lover and beloved or beloved and lover, therefore, this is the best exhibition of human being-God relationship. According to this mystical approach, human is the lover and the beloved of God that suddenly as the same time that the human is the beloved becomes lover with the help of divine love during a tremendous experience and in a special moment. Pantheistic mysticism is a type that is related to the experience of unity and it claims that during this experience the mystic pays attention to nothing except God and pays attention only to God. In this mystical school, the dualism between creator and creature has been mentioned; So Romantic (loving) mysticism can be added to this school. Pantheistic mysticism is also a mysticism that claims the mystic during the mystical experience achieves a knowledge about unity between creator and creature and the mystic understands that although, dualism has been happened between God and other creatures but this dualism is not a basic matter, So in this essay the romantic aptitude of pantheistic mysticism has been approved and then with the use of two reasons, that one of them is based on reality and the other one is based on reason, this claim that says “The unity between pantheistic mysticism and romantic (loving) mysticism does not exist” is rejected. In the view of Love mysticism becoming of "humanity" as a manifestation of Divine attributes in the human occur in three stages: not awakened soul (Adam innocent of sin), awakened soul (Adam after sin) and love (lover Adam to God). According to this view angel is symbol of not awakened soul and devil is symbol of awakened soul and human is a symbol of the love stage. Thushuman is comprehensive of angel and devil attributes. After the events of primordial sin, human stepped from the stage of angelic and the lack of awareness to the stage of awakening and awareness. In fact, the devil makes his entrance into this stage, but this stage is a window to enter the love scene of human and God in the context manifestations of God's Attributes glory and beauty in this world. Love, affection, and beauty have been some of the everlasting concerns of mankind who have been engaged with it globally and mentally. These essential matters have special reflection in mysticism insofar as they have been proposed as one of the mystical debates in its various branches. Loving the beloved, drowing in the infinite beauty of the eternal image of God, and having a sip of His affectionate wine make lover a sensation that take him her away from consciousness and reasoning to the bowndless desert of craziness and bewilderement, and as Sufis claim, drive anyone from sobriety to intoxication, and in his inebriation and craziness, he will alienate himself by having a pure wine of unity, behaving in a queer and strange way different from human reasoning and wordly intelligence quite close to insane people, thus it causes a sort of behavior that will be explored later in the paper. These insane and divinely intoxicated people in their impersonal intoxication achieve one of the most beautiful and uncontaminated spiritual and internal relation with their eternally mere beloved, getting so much ripened that nothing remains from their egos except Him and nothing else. The story and personality of divine prophets, based on the explicit version of the Qur'an and traditions, is one of the essential features of Islamic mysticism that has been considered by mystics in different ages. In fact, the outline of romantic love points and experiences with the aim of opening up an epistemological and aesthetic perspective is one of the most important approaches in Islamic Sufism that has been identified with the love school of mysticism. The hidden romance in these stories deals with the most important themes and implications of love, so the purpose of this study is to identify and explain the romantic approach to the story of Moses in mystical works from the fifth to the seventh century AH. In this research, the facts and evidences in mystical works have been studied by descriptive-analytic method. Investigating the evidence and research findings showed that the romantic approach is relatively similar in frequency in both poetic and affective works and in the three centuries studied. From the point of view of the subject, the conversation of God with Prophet Moses and the manifestation of the right to him has been most abundant in dealing with poets and writers Manuscript profile

Imam Khomeini believes that the concept of love is covered by the necessity of covering the divine essence. On the one hand, he believes that the universe is all the shadow of the beloved, even the love of the mountain and nature belongs to the beloved, and on the other hand, he has described the absolute beloved in secret, to the extent that even the use of the words of the unseen is inward. He also knows about the divine nature from necessity and urgency. The language of lyricism and joyful information and romantic themes and reckless expressions do not leave room for mysticism to study and discuss, and if there is a trace and fruit of mysticism, it is its lip and essence, which knocks on the door of love like a ring and says need. Innovation in this research is mystical love in Imam Khomeini's poems, which has not been done in any research so far Manuscript profile

As one of the most important mystical works of Persian language, Mathnawi deserves a lot of attention in various aspects. Rumi has used many Quranic verses in Mathnawi, and one of Rumi's most important techniques in dealing with the Qur'anic verses is their interpretation of the Holy Qur'an and their lively and romantic interpretation. It goes from appearance to backend. Basically, belief in the essence of things is at the center of Rumi's thinking, so he pays special attention to interpretation. He believes that the Holy Quran has an esoteric hidden under the rhetoric. The interpretation of the verses of the Holy Qur'an in Mathnawi is a way of interpretation that brings out the inner beyond the appearance of the standard of love but does not negate the appearance. One of the most important conditions of interpretation for him is his own interpretation, which necessitates self-knowledge and cultivation of the soul, and it requires avoidance of whim. The second, and perhaps the most important, component of interpretation is Rumi's view of the work and its result, which means that one must hope for God's mercy. The subject of this study is the mystical and romantic interpretation of Rumi's verses. One of the most important conditions of interpretation for Mowlana is the interpretation of self which requires self-knowledge and the cultivation of the soul and the result is prostration; that is, interpretation must lead one to happiness and hope in God's mercy. Freedom and slavery have degrees and in any degree of devotee’s travelling and behavior, he achieves a portion of it and at the end finds out the real concept of slavery and freedom. Hafez states this in his Divan clearly and indicates that freedom is the result of true slavery manifestation. Hafez belives that there is just one way of slavery. He named it ‘lovely slavery’ which gives freedom to man. A Lover is a free man that releases himself from all limitations by slavery and becomes a free slave. Love is one of the fundamental issues of mysticism, so that without considering that mysticism and transcendental power, it is not comprehensible. In mystical literature, love has a high position; hence, much of the mystical literature is devoted to this subject. In mystical literature, especially in the words of Sheikh Ala'd-dowlah and Imam Khomeini, which is the subject of this research, love can be viewed from the point of true love. In a gnostic look, and specifically an amatory theosophy, love is the column of Creation, the origin of human emergence, and all the universe. “Almighty Allah says: I was a hidden treasure, then I decided to be known, so I created love and I was known” (Rajaee Bokharaee: 591). Allah points to love as the reason for creation and wise poets have expressed the most beautiful and the deepest interpretations for love in different thoughts and terms. Mewlana Jalal Al-din Mohammad Balkhi and Abdolghader Bidel-e- Dehlavi are among the great thinkers representing the deepest concepts and figurative pictures on love. In his cognitive metaphors on love, Mewlana uses such terms as fire, wine, animation, medic, light, voyage, etc. in fact three elements of fire, wine, and animation of love have the highest level of frequency in Mewlana’s Mathnavi, Bidel represents a more abstractive picture of love comparing to Mewlana and uses cognitive metaphors such as flame, speech, written, Sun, treasure, desert, pearl, image, association, secrets, etc. while creating his cognitive metaphors Bidel knowingly inserts some kind of ambiguity in his words that leads to external complication of his poetry. By extending his words and with the help of common terminology he attempts to spread and open his metaphors and make others understand him by giving highly elegant pictures. For him, love is like the sea, sun light, water, desert, king, hero, mirror, path, etc. Manuscript profile

Abhar al-Ashqeen, which is one of the most important books of Sufism in Persian language, is a book in which the movement of language on the axis of similarities is very remarkable. This outstanding feature (movement of language based on similarity that highlights the metaphorical pole of language) has made the linguistic identification of this text remarkable. Metaphor plays an essential role in explaining Rozbahan's thoughts and mentalities. Roozbahan turns to the best form of imagination, metaphor, to express abstract and abstract concepts, whose expression and explanation inevitably leads to complexity. Our goal in writing this article is to examine two conceptual metaphors in Ebhar al-Ashqin, which are fundamental and basic in Rozbahan's aesthetic thought. The research method in this article is descriptive-analytical and the method of collecting research data is library.Finding.Among Rozbahan's innovative and non-inventive metaphors, the author has analyzed two major cognitive metaphors, the two metaphors of "mine" and "actions", which are influenced by Rozbahan's thought and method of aestheticism. The cognitive metaphor of the mine, which represents the thought world of Rozbahan, has its roots in his intellectual system and the way of aestheticism. It is a metaphor mine of beauty and eternal eternal love of God Almighty, which is generally placed by Roozbahan in front of the world of Hadad. Mine refers to the essence of divine attributes before the appearance of physical forms.Verbs are also rooted in the broad concept of divine manifestations, which has a long history in mysticism, but the art of writing and the creativity of Rozbahan's mind in paying this big metaphor is due to the linguistic imagery that has been reproduced. Tazkirat al-Awliya of Attar is one of the leading sources in the knowledge of the various mystics of the ages of the 1st. of Hijri until the time of the author (7th. century). In this book, the life of 97 elders of Sufism, each of which was related to a mystical mission, has been studied. The study of Mashayekh’s attitude is a way of understanding various mystical thoughts and can be a reliable document in the study of the mystic philosophy. In this paper, the components of ascetic mysticism and romantic mysticism are reviewed from the narratives and narrations of the Tazkirat al-Awliya. Attar has not made a specific classification of the intellectual tendencies, and has mentioned each one's respectful attitude. But the study of the contradictions of love and ascetic mysticism in their lives shows that the Awliya’s react to each other's ideas, and Shari’a, dignity, and wisdom are the main issues of the main conflict.  Adherence to the Shari'a is the principle in ascetic Awliyas where the elements of love mysticism is not seen. But in the words of the romantic Awliya, bypassing the ascetic mysticism, sometimes perform non-religious acts. Also, the compassion for the devil, the apostasy, the belief in Sama’e, the rejection of apparent dignity, has come to the mind of the romance, who is not in a state of inferiority. The common theme in the Awliya's words in the ascetic and romantic mysticisms is the anti-Semitic world in which all of them are considered. I consider Attar to be in the group of romance mysticism, and this trend has also been shown in Tazkirat. Manuscript profile

As a subcategory of grammatical metaphors, metaphors of transitivity are discussed in Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar. This article attempts to compare metaphors of transitivity in two of Saadi's literary genres – didactic and romantic. Findings of the study, conducted in a descriptive-analytical method, are as follows: 1) Surprisingly, the surface structure of clauses from Saadi's romantic poetry indicates a higher frequency of material processes over others, followed by relational processes by far. In didactic poetry, at surface structure level, material and relational processes exceeded others, both having been used almost in the same frequency. Next frequently used process type is mental. However, the analysis of clauses suggests that a considerable number of clauses from Saadi's poetry are, substantially, mental or behavioral at deep structure level. This depicts human's internal emotions thoroughly, but, when carried into surface structure level, these processes are transformed into material and relational processes under metaphor of transitivity. It seems that, for romantic poems, the poet has been trying to further visualize and perceptualize the internal emotions of characters or lovers in his stories significantly. The transformation of mental and behavioral processes into material and relational ones is significantly more frequent in Saadi's romantic poetry compared to his didactic poetry. 2) Considering the fact that a segment of metaphors of transitivity in Saadi's poetry are either indicative of metonymy or contain secondary connotations construed in rhetoric, it seems so that the metaphor of transitivity can help literary researchers rethink a number of concepts related to semantics and eloquence. The purpose of this research was to compare the romantic relationships from the viewpoints of Nezami Ganjavi and Sohrab Sepehri, who belonged to the two different literary and historical periods of Iran country. The two poets had different attitudes toward romance in terms of sociology, psychology and literature. The epistemic differences between the two poets had influenced their point of view toward moral and romantic relationships and shaped the recognition and definition of "woman". The applied method was a comparative and descriptive one, and was based on the works of the two poets concerned to romantic relationships. The findings showed that Nezami Ganjavi, according to personal and experiences of his own life, and social, economic and political conditions, reached a particular attitude toward woman and her relations as a personal style, and in other hand, Sohrab Sepehri regarding all components of  modern life and his personal experiences had presented a unique viewpoint on romantic relationships. Eventually, the research concluded that the romantic relationships in Nezami’s lyrics stories has been often carnal and terrestrial so that the poet with a powerful tool in describing dramatic and imaginative, would take the readers to the feast, pleasure and jollity, while the ”love” in Sepehri’s poems had been limited to spiritual and mental aspects and we are facing an ethereal beloved in poet’s soul and worlds. By using descriptive-analytic method, it has been found that feminine spirit and language is greatly evident in poetries of these two Arabic poets which can be studied at different language levels. This feminine element is clear in three levels in poetries of these two poets phonetic, syntactic and semantic. They were using some techniques such as repetition of phonemes, letters in speaking about their sorrow and sadness. Not being sure of social conditions in a world which pay attention to men caused women to use interrogative methods in their poems. Women can be one of the top mediators in the aspirations of men to their bliss and esteem of God. In Islamic mysticism there was independent stream named "flow of love" or "aesthetic mysticism ".  One of the most eminent figure of the mentioned doctrine was "Fakhreddin Iraqi", the love poet and mystic in seventh AH century. This article analyzes this issue based on an article by Mostafa Malekian entitled "Romantic . Loving morality has nothing to do with success or failure; The lover must love as much as he does not violate the moral virtues, and in the literature of love, he must love in practice so as not to harm the success of the love process. The purpose of this study is to investigate "love ethics and literature in hidden love stories" and of the type of qualitative and thematic content analysis, and to try to adapt these stories with the factors mentioned in the basic article for the establishment of proper love communication and Let's analyze them. Also, what effect does this observance or non-observance have on the narration? Lyrical poetry is one of the most important literary genres in the history of literary criticism. In the history of literature of any land, there are poems that were composed with or to accompany music, and on the other hand, there are simple, emotional and musical poems that have emerged from the heart of the general public and have become the official source of lyrical poems. Influenced by the romantic definition of lyrical poetry, Iranian scholars have often considered this type of poetry as poems that express personal feelings and emotions and the personal "I" of the speaker. In lyrical poetry, romantic themes are presented with a cover of arrays and based on the poet's personal feeling. Poetic images are the result of linking the poet's emotional experiences with the phenomena and events around him. In this literary genre, the structure of poetic images is particularly similar to the definition of image in literary language. This research has tried to recount in a descriptive-analytical way the original manifestations of lyrical literature in Baluchi love poems. Ancient Baluchi poetry is more narrative, and the surviving works are epic and love stories or important historical events that poets have written in short and semi-long poems. Manuscript profile

Lyrical literature is the oldest type of literature in which the poet displays his existential truth and expresses his personal feelings towards life and society, in such a way that social realities and society can be objectively reflected in a detailed and limited way. He saw literary works. The purpose of studying societies in poetry is to analyze the social concerns and issues of that period. Hossein Manzavi is one of the greatest ghazal writers of the present era, who is famous for his romantic ghazal; the subject of his sonnets is mostly about love, yet he has addressed social and political issues in his sonnets. The lover in the isolated sonnet has taken on a different face and this indicates the poet's different attitude towards the subject of love. Manzavi has a personal and special style in his descriptions, which distinguishes his poetry from other contemporary poets. In his lyrical compositions, different and dual themes can be seen around lyrical, social and religious topics and issues. In this research, the author is trying to analyze the social and related issues in isolated sonnets with descriptive-analytical method and library tools and to answer the question, what are the most important social issues used in isolated sonnets? The result of the research indicates that the poet was able to create a new language to express love in such a way that this distinction and duality of approach can be seen in his romantic sonnets. This research aims to study the mystical and romantic interpretations of the polo and the polo ball terms in Persian poems. In different periods of Persian language and literature, poets have used various interpretations to express their concepts and intents, and they occasionally have benefited from common interpretations and idioms of their era to restate such concepts. Poets have sometimes expressed their personal feelings and emotions in romantic and mystical themes with " Polo" and " Polo ball" terms. The present study is the descriptive type with the historical method, which has been done with an analytical approach. Our findings indicated that, Persian poems are filled with "Polo" and "Polo ball" terms, used to describe the hair length, chin, face, and moles of the beloved, as well as the description of the submission and humbleness of the lover to the beloved in romantic themes. They also have been used to express submission, and as an allegory for ignoring worldly longings and arrogance in mystical themes. The expression of "Polo" and "Polo ball" terms in the lyric poetry and abundant use of these words in Persian literature indicate the popularity of this game in different periods of the Persia history and the poets’ familiarity with the Polo sport might be due to the prevalence of this game in Iran. Bijan Jalali was one of the first poets to turn to prose poetry in simple language from the beginning, and his choice was not due to the development of modern poetry in Iran, especially Nima, but due to his presence in France and the influence of European literature. Jalali’s poetry neither is half-hearted nor has the characteristics of white poetry, and in a sense it can be considered as a mediator between poetry and prose or white poetry or prose poetry. The kind of glorious expression in simplification and shorthand is a reflection of his life that has been internalized in the poet, so it is not acquired or artificial. After the forties and fifties, and the decline of symbolic and ideological expression, new poets, especially the new generation, have turned to glorious poetry. The point that has been neglected in introduction and review of Bijan Jalali's poems in the shadow of his simplification is his romances. At a glance, it seems that the poet has a tendency towards nature and mysticism, and the mentality of single life but his love poems have been ignored. The love we are talking about here is different from the love of nature and God and animals. Specifically, we are talking about earthly love and women, which has been addressed directly and indirectly in various collections. After studying Jalali's poems, the frequency of romances in different periods of his life is so great that makes it possible to publish a book solely on a selection of his romance poems. One of the narrative themes in love poems is the infertility of the lovers' parents. This theme is not one of the main themes, but it is the point of entry of lovers into the story So the author uses all his art to describe it as a beautiful and memorable event. This research seeks to classify infertility in Persian love poems by describing and analyzing the content of the text. What role does each of these classifications and subspecies play in the narrative? For this purpose, the book "One Hundred Persian Love Poems" (Zolfaghari, 2015) is the basis of the work. According to the results, in thirty poems, the parents of lovers have suffered from infertility and in many cases, have been worried about the throne of their heirs. They have children in various ways (having children through prayer and charity, helping a dervish by eating blessings, having children outside the womb or with the presence of only one parent, hiding the birth or abandonment of a child, and predicting the birth of a child) has fallen. The evolution of this theme shows that its use began with mythology and was very primitive and naive in folk tales. The authors of Persian love poems of the fourth to ninth centuries, using their taste, have used it in various forms. From the ninth century onwards, nothing new is added to it and it is a repetition of the previous ones. Its peak was in the twelfth century due to the rise of Indian systematists and the rise of idealism. The role of this theme in the narrative structure of the love story is that the author, by portraying the difficult parenting of children, prepares the audience's mind for the events formed by these children in the continuation of the story, and increases the actions and thus the story's appeal. Mythological narratives and myths of names are influenced by the semantic pools in which they develop over time. Hence, a text has different meanings in different periods. Literary-artistic texts are better known and more appropriately decoded in the context of their formation; This leads to a more complete understanding of the pattern governing the culture of each period. Khosrow and Shirin's romance has always been considered in different periods of Iran up to the contemporary period; It has been studied by many painters, poets and writers and is one of the most widely used myths in literary and artistic texts. The present study aims to identify the impact of contemporary factors; The time, culture of the society and the type of the creator's attitude towards presenting the narrative deal with the intertextual study and myth-mining of this narrative in different texts of the contemporary period. This research descriptively-analytically seeks the factors influencing contemporary works and how the artist uses them to answer the question: "Has he created sub-narratives?" The results show that developments, events, communications and changes in society have directly affected the creative thinking and have caused new sub-narratives in the romantic presentation of Khosrow and Shirin in contemporary Iranian art works. Emran Salahi is one of the poets who has a simple language in his poems. A major part of Salahi's poems is his romantic poems, which are not specific to a particular era and can be seen in all his poetry collections. This article deals with Salahi's love poems in an analytical-descriptive method to explain his simple writing. The poet's love simple writings have been examined in three parts: structural and linguistic, rhetorical and content, among which we can mention these cases: Direct expression, simplicity of interpretation and expression, short writing, the role of word association in poetry, using colloquial language, not using difficult words, closeness of the main components of the sentence to each other, effective beginning and surprising ending (structural and linguistic), Paradox, brevity, common and everyday similes and poetic (rhetorical) similes, attention to everyday life and tangible images, detail and use of seemingly insignificant subjects (content). The result is that Emran Salahi's simple writing, which has led to effective communication with the audience, has not made his writings look superficial, but always has literary value. He, who pays attention to the language and content of his poetry, has used this process in all periods of his poetry in classical and new forms, and the variety of topics especially romantic themes, is evident in his works. Respect for human moral boundaries is one of the most prominent features of the great poets of Persian literature. Creating valuable works such as Shahnameh, alongside its literary values at the highest degree of aesthetics, had the greatest impact on stimulating the human characteristics of his audience because of ethics. One of the most important virtues is secrecy and being faithful to a secret which is seen in the two types as praised and condemned secrecy in most romantic stories of Shahnameh. Romantic stories of Hakim Ferdowsi's Shahnameh have narrated the love story of two lovers amongst all the ethnic, racial, political, social, cultural, and military in the semi-historical and semi-legendary communities of stories, while maintaining a commitment to teach the doctrine of ethics of secrecy. This doctrine is sometimes in the form of advice and sometimes in the action and reaction of characters, along with numerous points, rising and falling. Examining the doctrine of secrecy in romantic stories of Shahnameh is important with regards to vital characteristics and elements such as epic, love, athletics, secrecy, oath ritual, and alike. Studying these stories is essential to prove significant factors in the spread of teaching secrecy and knowing the role of the main elements of romance in praised or condemned secrecy, and the efficacy of epic and love themes in stability or weakness of the doctrine of secrecy. Abhar al-āšqīn is a collection of Rūzbahān Baqalī Šīrāzī’s thoughts about love. Because of the great importance of this mystical treatise in Persian literature, it has had great influence on its later works including masnavi of Sefat al- āšqīn, composed by Helali Joghtaei. Since these two books have a lot of similarities in content and subject matter, they can be studied based on Genette's Intertextuality theory that suggests three types of "explicitly deliberate", "hidden-deliberate," and "implicit" links between texts. The findings of the present research show that many themes related to love, such as eternality and the mutuality of love and its obstacles are presented in both books. The intertextuality relationship between them shows that Sefat al- āšqīn is not a mere imitation of Abhar al- āšqīn without any creativity. By using descriptive-analytic method, the present article tries to show the common themes about love in both books. Manuscript profile

The abstraction and concreteness of propositions that represent their individuality and universality are important in mystical literary discourse. The question is whether the mystics have confused their followers with their universal propositions or have increased the certainty of their words with concrete sentences and guided their followers in a certain direction. Roozbehan has presented his experiences in metaphorical language in Abhar al-Ashiqin, and in Sarh al-shathiyyat, he offers a realistic method for interpreting surrealistic subjects and writes both texts concretely using a variety of descriptive methods. According to him, individual and collective social desires should be for perfection and the acquisition of moral desires, such as loving, and lead man to intrinsic and spiritual desires such as peace and meaning. Sawāneh Ol-'Oshshāq, a treatise by Ahmad Ghazālī (c. 1061–1123 or 1126), and Abhar al-'Āshiqin, another treatise by Ruzbihan Baqli Shirazi (d. 1209), have common points in mode of expression, language usage and content. The simultaneous and intertextual reading can lead to change our views about these texts and acquaint us with their common features and special features of their own. Based on Gérard Genette’s ideas, the intertextual reading of the texts reveals that the Abhar al-'Ashiqin is, explicitly and implicitly, influenced by Sawāneh Ol-'Oshshāq in selecting words, terms and proper names and allusions to Quranic verses, Tradition (hadith), and mystical stories and terms. Their intertextual relationship is much deeper and extensive than direct influence and adaptation which may appear. Manuscript profile

In Persian literature, to express lyrical and romantic themes, along with the form of sonnet, it is also common to use romantic verses. Storytelling is one of the types that was noticed very early in Persian poetry. At the end of the 6th century, the order of romantic stories reached its perfection by Nizami Ganjavi. He arranged some famous stories of his time and the performances of this poet were so skillful that most of the composers of romantic verses, knowingly or not, have been influenced by his style and manner of storytelling. One of his brilliant poems is Leyli and Majnun, whose origin should be sought in Arab literature. This story has been imitated many times by poets in different languages. The Eastern world has known the tragic story of Leyli and Majnoon in its literature since ancient times. Over the years, this story has inspired dozens of great poets in the creation of fantastic poems, and it is still reflected in the works of poets, writers, playwrights and musicians of different nations of the East. Undoubtedly, the origin of this story belongs to the Arabs and its history goes back to the end of the 7th century AD. Manuscript profile

Persian romantic verses as texts composed over the centuries have common characteristics which upon their structural analysis one can analyze their    inter-textual connections. Attempt is made in this article to describe the farewell scenes of lovers in order to arrive at their common converse in these texts, since the main theme is love and this fundamental feature confers a mutual function to the lovers’ death.  According to the inter textual theory, the texts with common theme in different historical periods are interconnected and their images, descriptions and their poetic thoughts are emanated from a common language even if at first they seem distinct.  This common language provides the logic and the basis of the colloquy and living in such circumstances.  In other words the language of love necessitates that farewell scenes have common language and ambiance although differences arise in accordance with the story and the relationship between the lover and the beloved.  In one place, after the death of his beloved, the lover stands by her grave and weeps till his own death. And in other place, he opens his chest with a dagger.  It is such that in studying the farewell scenes one arrives at the subject of synchronic death of the lovers.  The focal point in these verses is the bitterness and the dilemma of separation which the lovers cannot tolerate and shortly after the other say farewell to life and end the dialogue of love. Homay Nameh is a barely known heroic epic belonging to about sixth or seventh century in Persian Literature whose anonymous composer makes it worthy of analysis. This research is based on the methods put forward by the prominent structuralists such as Vladimir Propp, Arthur Asa Berger and Paul Ricoeur in the domain of morphology of stories, folk, mythic and epic tales. The outcome of the analysis shows that the story is composed of a general framework encompassing the starting point, events arising from shortcomings and evil doings and a happy ending for the hero. The morphological analysis of Homay Nameh can be embarked upon on the basis of significant elements such as character, motivation, function, movement, and repetition in order to follow the sequence of actions in this epic. The seven multifaceted characters in the story is reminiscent of characters in Propp's theory with one difference that in place of "false hero" the character of "hero's successor" is present. The number of main functional titles considering the repetition is eighty three. It must be emphasized that some functions in comparison with Propp's theory are new and some similar titles present novel concepts. The functions of "war" and "victory" are among the most repetitive elements of the story and from the movement point of view the story makes use of the combination of three manners of story movements and that of movement pattern proposed by Berger. Once the structure of a heroic epic, in particular epic romance found, one can seek the format in other similar works. Manuscript profile
