The aim of this study was to determine the role of differentiation, meaningful life and forgiveness in predicting marital disaffection in the married female students of Islamic Azad University of Dezful. The research sample consisted of 256 married women that were randomly selected using random numbers table. The research was descriptive and correlational. The instruments of this study were Kayser’s Marital Disaffection Scale(1993) , Skowron’s Differentiation of Self Inventory—Revised, Batista and Almond(1973 Life- Regard Index(LRI) and Rye’s Forgiveness Questionnaire (2001). In order to analyze the data; correlation coefficient and multiple regression were implemented. The results showed that the correlation coefficients of differentiation, life meaningful and forgiveness with marital disaffection were negatively significant. In conclusion, the results showed that differentiation, life meaningful and forgiveness played significant role in explaining and predicting the variance of marital disaffection.
