Peer Review Policy
The Journal of Woman Cultural Psychology is a double-blind peer review publication, which implies that neither the author nor the reviewer knew each other's identities when they were evaluating the work.
The following are the procedures for evaluating articles published in the Journal of Woman Cultural Psychology:
A- Initial review (3-7 Days)
During the first stage of evaluation, every article that is submitted will be examined for compliance to the publication's format, for instances of plagiarism or similarity, also for the piece's relevance to the publication's topics. Before submitting an article to this journal, authors are kindly asked to consider the recommendations provided and carefully read the authors' guide and the journal's subject areas.
B- Review stage (1-3 Months)
If the submissions are appropriate from a scientific standpoint, the papers that passed the initial stage of review will be forwarded to a minimum of three reviewers in the editorial board session. Articles that at this point get revisions from two reviewers will be sent to the responsible author for corrections.
C- Revision stage
The manuscript will be sent to the author(s) for revision if the two reviewers give their approval. The author has a maximum of 15 days to make the changes that the reviewers recommended. The Comparative referee receives a revised version following. The article will be sent to the editorial board members for final approval if the Comparative referee approves it. Afterward, the responsible author will receive the publication schedule and acceptance letter from the editorial board members.
D-preparation and publication
The article will be published upon acceptance and payment of the APCs. The author will receive a formal notification by email. Submissions to the Journal of Woman Cultural Psychology should not be reviewed concurrently for other journals, nor should any portion of them have appeared in another publication previously.
