About the journal

Journal of Basic and Clinical Veterinary Medicine (JBCVM) (formerly known as Veterinary Journal of Equine Sciences) is the journal of the veterinary faculty of Islamic Azad University, Urmia branch. This journal publishes original and review articles as well as short communications and case reports related to all aspects of the basic and clinical sciences of veterinary medicine. JBCVM is an open-access international peer-reviewed scientific journal that is published semiannually in the English language.

Publication of the JBCVM has been certified by the central organization of Islamic Azad University, I. R. Iran, No: 99/73/21724; 18 August 2020.

Note: There is no charge for article submission or publication. Also, access to all published articles is free for readers.

All submitted manuscripts are screened by the Ithenticate plagiarism checker software prior reviewing process.
