        Aim: The aim of the present study was to examine effect training of assertiveness program on critical thinking (creativity, development, commitment) second grade girl first school students in the of khorramabad city. Method: The study method of sup-experimental with design pre-test - post-test and follow-up with the control group. The study population included all high school girl students in second grade Khorramabad city area on public schools in the academic year 1394-95. Sample size of 44 Person (of Person 22 experiment group and Person 22 control group) using multi-stage random cluster were selected. In this study measuring tool, questionnaire critical thinking ricketts (2003). The experimental group was assertiveness program training, after the training Meetings, from both the experimental and control groups post-test and again two months later, both groups were followed up. With of using SPSS - 19 and descriptive and descriptive and inferential test run such as of multivariate analyzes were done. findings :The results study showed that assertiveness program training (cognitive and meta- cognitive) the effect generally critical thinking (P<0/001) and of its sub - components, on development and commitment (P<0/001) but had no effect in component creativity. While the results was preserved in the follow up Phase. Conclusion: Assertiveness program training is to increase students' critical thinking. Manuscript profile

          Background: Creativity or creation, is one of the most interesting and controversial topics In various scientific fields particularly of educational sciences and psychology. This phenomenon has been among  the major powers of the human mind in each and every era of history and has been considered as  the main purpose of educational schools and training centers. Purpose: The goal of this study was an investigation into the  effect of Metacognitive Training on Creativity of girl high school students of Isfahan city. Materials and methods:  The study used a quasi-experimental method with pre-test - post-test and follow-up stages. The statistical population of the review were  all high school girl students of the Isfahan in the 2012-2013 academic year of whom some 40 were  randomly selected using cluster sampling method. Measurement instruments of the study were demographic questionnaire and test anxiety questionnaire( Spielberger 1980). After intervention the post -test was performed added with a follow up 4 months later. Results: The results showed that the mean scores of the experimental and control groups, there were significant differences in the level of creativity at post-test and follow-up (p<0.05). Conclusion: Based on these findings, it can be concluded that intervention based of metacognitive training was effective on creativity increase. Thus, the study suggests the use of metacognitive training in order to increase creativity in adolescents.     Manuscript profile

        Background: Managers have a crucial role on qualitative and quantitative improvement of their outputs, that is, the students. Every organization’s creativity is dependent on the creativity of its managers. Different factors influence managers’ creativity. According to Sternberg, intelligence, personality and thinking styles effect creativity. Purpose: This research attempted to investigate the relationship between high school principals’ thinking styles and creativity in the city of Khorramabad. Method: The research design is of the correlation characteristic of descriptive researches. The research population included all 145 high school principals in Khorramabad (67 females and 78 males). To determine the sample size the Cochran formula was used. Therefore, 107 principals (48 females and 59 males) were selected as the sample using a relative cluster sampling. To collect data, Sternberg-Wagner’s thinking styles questionnaire and Ran sip’s creativity questionnaire were administered. The content validity was used to determine the validity of the measures and Cranach alpha was used to measure the validity of the questionnaires. The Cranach alpha values for the thinking style questionnaire and creativity questionnaire were 0.90 and 0.92, respectively. Result(s): Results showed that legislative and judicial thinking styles were positively correlated to the principal’s creativity, while the relative between the executive thinking style and principals’ creativity was not significantly meaningful. Of the thinking styles, the judicial style is a suitable predictor of the principals’ creativity.    Conclusion: According to the findings, can be concluded that the thinking style, fundamentally role in innovation and depending on the situation, one of these styles, the best results will be achieved.     Manuscript profile
