With the rise of the ‘innovative era’, knowledge has become the most valuable economic resource. Only knowledge provides the opportunity to improve the wealth of nations, the growth of organizations and the value of individuals. In 21st century knowledge and intangible assets (Intellectual capital) are known as most important competitive advantage of organizations, therefore this issue has created a new research and study area. Previous studies demonstrate that intellectual capital is positively and significantly associated with organizational performance. Because of the importance of this issue, in this research relationship between elements of intellectual capital (i.e. human capital, structural capital and relational capital) and its impact on organizational performance in National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has been investigated. To achieve this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of 67 items was designed for the elements of intellectual capital. Model development and hypothesis testing was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS) on a sample of 142 respondents from NIGC and affiliated companies. The analysis of data based on structural equation modeling revealed that there were relatively strong correlations among the elements of intellectual capital. Also structural capital is positively associated with organizational performance, but the relational capital has no impact on the organizational performance of NIGC. Manuscript profile

After three decades of the life of the research in Intellectual Capital and the role and optimum management of these capitals, the necessity of being familiar with the new approaches in removing the drawbacks of executing the knowledge based economic plans in the company is extremely evident. It is in the light of the knowledge of the intellectual capital management and applying the new approaches that there is a complete image of the current and future condition of the managers and that the development of the company is possible by quick decisions. Purpose of this paper is explaining and clarifying the tendency change in the value of the companies from the tangible assets to intangible ones and its effect on the strategic decision making of the managers of the industrial and productive companies. For this purpose the data were gathered from the managers through a questionnaire and were analyzed in linear and by multiple regression analysis way to determine the extent of the effectiveness of the parts of the intellectual capital management on the dimensions of strategic decision making of the manager (rationality, political behavior, intuition). The findings of this study cleared that the components of the intellectual capital management had a meaningful relationship with the aspects of managers strategic decision making and is effective on them. The results showed that in most of the companies, the intellectual capital were in the proper level, but little attention has been given to the topic and methods of using of these capitals to impact the managers decision making, therefore the gap of the little attention to intellectual capital can be filled by using the new intellectual capital frameworks in the other industrial units and new policies be taken. Although organization have played various roles over the course of the history, their performance has expanded in the present time and expectations from them have increased. On the other hand, in todays competitive world, organizations, at any domain of activity, need to improve their performance by taking all possible measures. One way of improving the performance of organizations is the investigation of factors likely to affect it. This which highlights the importance of intellectual capital. Intellectual capital refers to the body of knowledge, experience, and information that exists in an organization and is considered as intangible organizational assets and resources that can be converted to products, services, and processes to promote productivity and create values. The current applied, descriptive survey set out to investigate and analyze the main indicators and facets of intellectual capital assessment at university level through Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). The research data were gleaned using an interview and a questionnaire. First, the facets and indicators of intellectual capital were identified based on an extensive literature review and comparative content analyses of relevant existing studies as well as interviews with experts in the field who were selected via purposive sampling. Further, the relationships between the aspects and indicators of intellectual capital including human, structural and relational resources and indicators of intellectual capital assessment procedure at university were integratively determined and analyzed through ISM.  Finally, the main variables influencing other variables and influenced by them were identified via MICMAC analysis.  The findings identified the administration and students as independent variables with high levels of dependency and susceptibility that could be impacted by other mediating variables. Any improvement in intellectual capital at university level seem to be reliant on prerequisite modifications in these variables. Manuscript profile

Governments always use development programs and policy-making strategies in order to achieve their goals for development. In Iran, too, following the policies of other countries, several programs have been presented, and the prospective plan of the country has recently been compiled. In this model, universities have their special place as the center for scientific and technological development. In the current sensitive situation, universities can truly perform their mission in realizing the goals of the prospective plan only if they have proper performance. In the present study, by taking non-governmental universities into account and proposing a new approach, the researchers have compiled the promotion policies for the effectiveness of non-governmental universities based on the optimal use of their resources. The university resources have been considered in the three fields of human capital, relational capital, and structural capital in the research at hand, and accordingly, a questionnaire including 37 questions has been designed and distributed among the samples. Of the distributed questionnaires, 83 which had been filled out by university personnel and academic staff of the non-governmental universities of the country were returned. In this research, the relationship of the research variables has been studied through the use of structural equation modeling. The research has also revealed to some extent the other shortcomings of the non-governmental universities, and some suggestions have been presented for future researches in order to obviate them. The main objective of this paper is to examine the incremental information content of intellectual capitals of the firms listed in Tehran Stock Exchange according to the life cycle stages. Research samples included 74 firms during 1381-1387. The results of hypothesis testing utilizing "multiple regression method" suggests that attributes of intellectual capital don’t have incremental information content regarding firm's market values. The relative information content of the attributes of intellectual capital however is different at each stage of life cycle. Other results indicate that the highest correlation between the firm market value and intellectual capital is in the adolescence stage and in the next step the highest correlation is in the growth stage and the lowest correlation is in the decline stage. Today, achieving sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) is crucial for life insurance service providers. Sustainable customer relationship management (SCRM) strategy and building quality relationships with customers as companies' assets are deemed suitable ways for growth, advancement, and increasing the value of insurance companies. Based on this premise, this research aims to decode the impact of sustainable customer relationship management (SCRM) on sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) with the mediating role of perceived relationship quality and the moderating role of relational capital in the life insurance industry. This study, due to its practical objective and data collection approach, falls into the category of descriptive-survey research. The statistical population includes representatives, policyholders, and branches of MA insurance company in Tehran. A multi-stage cluster sampling method was employed, and 368 customers were selected as the study sample. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using SPSS version 26 and SmartPLS version 3 software. The research findings indicate the significant influence of sustainable CRM on perceived relationship quality and sustainable competitive advantage. Perceived relationship quality positively affects sustainable competitive advantage and acts as a mediator between sustainable CRM and sustainable competitive advantage. Relational capital cannot moderate the effect of sustainable CRM on relationship quality; however, it significantly moderates and enhances the impact of sustainable CRM on sustainable competitive advantage. Additionally, the impact of relationship quality on sustainable competitive advantage in the life insurance industry is moderated and strengthened by relational capital. Manuscript profile
